Puzzles range from a modest 20 by 20 grid squares all the way up to 64 by 64 and even 128 by 128 with difficulties from "not very" to "extremely hard"! The final pack, "one color puzzles" is in fact the most challenging set of puzzles in Piczle history: increasingly huge puzzles made up of entire one color. Can you solve them all?

Bought this because of Picross Adventures by the same developer, which I enjoyed and cleared 100%. I also picked up their other Picross game on the same sale. This game has the same level of charm and polish, but I can't see myself finishing this one due to skill issues. I'm about 35 puzzles in and it's just gotten too hard for me. Get to a certain point in a puzzle where I'm stuck because I've made a mistake and I don't know how to solve it. I don't know what this type of game is called (assuming it's not a unique type of puzzle invented by the developer) so I'm not even sure what to search on google for strategies or advice. Decided to put the game down for now and play something else.
fun puzzle game similar to picross where you match lines together. the sfx/music is very generic and load times are a little annoying. buy on heavy sale and bring your own tunes.
I absolutely loved this game when I used to play it back on my Switch! But unfortunately it's useless on my system (desktop PC, Win11, 7800X3d/4080S, 4K).
Just getting a reasonable resolution to display properly is tricky enough, then the mouse cursor is way off and only covers 2/3 of the game screen. After a lot of messing with various windowed/fullscreen modes and resolutions (including setting different Steam launch options which the game often ignored), I finally managed to get a balance of half decent display mode with cursor aligning properly... well then the scroll wheel doesn't work, and eventually the cursor simply disappears from the game screen. Tried keyboard and controller too but still so many issues!
It seems to work OK on my Steam Deck so far but may be fiddly on the small touch screen. especially once I reach the larger puzzles again (I'm not far into this playthrough yet so still on the smaller ones), this is the only reason I haven't refunded this one. TBH as I mostly game on my desktop I usually just load up Threaded instead.
Such a shame as I know this is a great little puzzle game! I'm guessing there will be no more fixes or updates - so buy with caution and be prepared to go through the refund process if need be. Seems like I'm in the minority here, maybe other people have better luck!
