Great game to play , map could be more interactive

This game have a really big map and exploring these places makes the game become awsome

I love this game very much, some things that would make me love it even more would be bigger more realistic cities, being able to drive a car to work places when you borrow a truck from a company other than your own(Being able to drive a car when free roaming would be great too, without having to use a mod). More civilians walking around in towns.

Other than the above i am fully satisfied enjoying the game to the fullest degree! I even got myself a steering wheel for this game.

Really good game. Good gameplay. Good graphics. Good everything. Just needs more costoms.

Very fun game if you just want to wind down and relax. Grind in the begin is kinda hard but once you get the money stream in the grind really quickly goes light.

The scaling is fun, it's not that you drive from Amsterdam to Belgrade in 10 minutes, but on the other hand you're not taking all day about it.

The mod community is massive, and they really add to the game. Vanilla the game is fun aswell, but after a while if you explore the mods page you'll eventually be able to completely personalize your own installation.
This also includes any map mods, of which ofcourse ProMods is the biggest, and I certainly can recommend you get it aswell along side all the required DLCs for the TRUE European Truck Driving sim that can take you from Kazakhstan to Greenland.

All in all a really fun game for the people who love to drive from the comfort of your own desk.

only game you never get bored of too much content to be able to explore everything

What I absolutely love about this game is multifaceted. The core driving experience itself is incredibly relaxing yet engaging; there's a unique satisfaction in mastering the handling of these big rigs, navigating diverse road networks, and successfully completing a delivery. The physics feel weighty and believable without being overly punishing for casual players. Complementing this is a vast and beautiful world. The attention to detail in the map design is astounding, especially with the newer DLCs. Each country feels distinct, from the rolling hills of the UK to the scenic autobahns of Germany and the picturesque landscapes of Iberia or Scandinavia. The dynamic weather and day/night cycle add so much to the immersion – there's nothing quite like a sunrise over the Alps or navigating a rainy night.

Beyond the driving, building your trucking empire offers a fantastic progression system. Starting as a driver for hire, saving up for your first truck, customizing it to your liking, and then gradually expanding your fleet, garages, and hiring other drivers is incredibly rewarding and gives a real sense of accomplishment. Very good game, handles surprisingly well on a device that is not very powerful (after turning down graphics). Lots on mods available for customisation. Driving is a little difficult on keyboard but not much can be done about that. Good game overall :)

doubled the price for RU region, features DLC's for the price of the main game.

This is one of those games I wish there was a mixed rating.

I do enjoy just cruising around doing deliveries, this is one of my "go to" games when I just want to chill and not have to think.

Performance is painful at times.. sub 60 fps dips with a 4090 says it all, and considering it's a very basic looking game you'd hope the devs would have actually look at this in the 13 years since release... and honestly, without a heap of mods this isn't really very good, original sounds are terrible and actually turned me off playing for many years.

I'll raise this here as well otherwise I'll get another ban. Dev's and forum mods seem to be very fragile and don't want an open conversation about this.. I got a 30 day ban on the steam page for simply asking "why a game made by men for men doesn't have a DLC supporting male charities?" like it does for females..? all the guys know the answer, because men simply aren't important, nobody cares about men's health and this is a perfect example. Considering males suffer and die from these health issues at a significantly higher rate than woman this is something we should all be willing to have open discussions about without being actively silenced.

Its a great vibe, relax & drive. Would definitely recommend with the ETS2 PROMOD, makes this game much more interesting and detailed.

After fricking school you can come and relax with playing this game ang more relax if you are playing with wheel.
But remember if you want to make a shortcut with you 8 tonn truck don't shock if the policeman will pull you over

I have nothing super original to say about this game, all I can do is agree with the already existing reviews. I mean, this game is fantastic as it is - realistic roads, well detailed trucks, and hundreds of hours worth of possible exploration. Absolute go-ahead if you are into realistic driving in first-person, exploring different styles of areas, countries and locations. Nothing bad to say

I was a trucker from 1960 until 2002, when I had to retire because of my eyesight. I am 84 years old.
When I retired, my only daughter bought me a computer with a copy of the game Mid-town Madness, to keep my occupied during my retirement, and I had played it for 20 years until the computer stopped turning on.
My daughter passed away during the Pandemic, but last week my grandson Jason showed me Europe Truck Simulator and gave me his old computer to play it on. Thank you Jason. This game has reminded me not only of the enjoyment I got from Mid-town madness but of times gone by, when I was a trucker. Even though I proudly voted for Brexit, a decision I will never regret, I enjoyed a life driving all over Europe during my golden years. This game has brought back those lovely memories.
I play this game on my grandsons old computer, his steam account he calls his "troll alt", and a steering wheel that I have plugged into my computer. The screen is my telly.

Euro Truck is a very good game to step into the role of a truck driver and calmly drive it across Europe.

This game seems to be accurate and real. I love seeing new countries and even the trash and graffiti all over the place. Great and fun game to play.

This is might be one of the best simulator you will have and likely one of you more hours you will play.
Can't believe that 125 hours in Steam worth so much fun and enjoy, simply driving and hauling freight.

the target audience for this game seems to be middle aged men. i unfortunately am not one of them.
the gameplay seems fine, graphics are fine, everything is just fine. it's just not my kind of game

I have played ETS2 on and off for a number of years, And really did enjoy it.

However the controller layout change has been awful and despite trying work arounds and trying to get used to it, I just don't find it as enjoyable.

Maybe if you're playing for the first time and you're not used to the old layout then you may enjoy it, But i don't recommend it in all honesty.

The game is fun in single player as well joining an online community. I don't evaluate the whole game. I log in and drive. I don't mess with any controls that I haven't needed to use. So if you want my opinion of the game knowing the type of player I am, there you have it.

great game, not as realistic as ATS, but lots of attention to detail and includes real places. if you play this game i highly recommend purchasing a pc steering wheel with it, preferably ones with buttons on it. however, most countries are dlc, but its still good.

I recommend this game to everyone. Cities and states are very coolly made, there are a huge number of different trucks and cargoes of varying complexity in the game. The game also has a multiplayer option, which means that you can diversify long trips with fun with your friends.

very nice and relaxing game. AI is stupid as always so you better look even more carefully than you would irl

1. Find a job that pays well
2. Drive 1 hour to the destination
3. Flip the truck at the last moment loosing all the cargo

best game to play drunk. you can bet if I am playing this I am drunk out of my mind flipped upside down trying to figure out what button to push to tow my truck to a repair service and you would bet right 99% of the time.

Fun, meditative, good for zoning out to tunes or what have you!

best game ever. at first i thought this was gonna be super boring but no. Idk why but driving and following the rules of the roads just gives me vibes. with radio on and headlights, my 18 year old pc can still handle this game pretty good. i would reccomended this. im actually enjoying thing more then ats lol. great game, with an awesome map, very stable with a stupid amount of mods and it has just a great range of trucks

for any novice or experience driver this is amazing puts you behind the wheel of a Big Rig. hours of fun.
