The game is ok, excepting the npc s who when u want to overtake/drive chill they enter fully into u, if they could, they would even reverse! I can t stand using autosaves for the 30th time in a playtrough just for npcs who can t properly detect you.. when i change the lane, 3 other cars either collide into me, either i brake and they merge ”succesfully„ in the lane.

This is a fantastic game. It is not like any other car racing game. You can cruise freely and enjoy the view. There is no need to rush. This game made me feel not interested in any other kind of car racing games. This is the best car game that I ever playied
This game is for the people who just wants to drive and chill. With mods, its adding more fun to the game. The multiplayer is fun too when you want to do like a trip from the edge of the map to the other edge. This is really recommended for having fun with friends with driving big trucks, cars, or even buses. Best 10 dollars i've spent
The game itself with high to Ultra Graphics and mods feels really realistic and it seemed like it's in real life.
Fun little game, nice and relaxing, with lots of updates and events.

This is the best game to play with a steering wheel (especially if yours has real-life steering angles).

But seriously, I spent hours in the game with pleasure, driving my truck along highways and narrow roads in the rain, sun, fog, sunsets and sunrises, in traffic jams and on empty roads, driving in cities, villages, mountains, plains, on sea coasts, delivering tractors, helicopters, boxes, and some other crap.
Awesome atmosphere and very often calm and peaceful - something that, unfortunately, does not exist in the real world.
Game isnt that realistic. There arent any Middle aged 40 year olds Driving a Old Chrysler Town or ford mondeo with like 40 Tons of cargo ontop of the car going from belgium to spain

Game is a blast and very well done considering its age. I love the graphic detail and all the love SCS put into this game! And I don't see any signs of them slowing down either! Happy trucking!
Very fun to roam around and play for fun or to get trucking experience. As a person who plays TruckersMP It is very fun and you should play it but beware in TruckersMP there are alot of people who cant drive. (TruckersMP is not apart of ETS2, its a add-on mod.)
This game is truly amazing!
Been playing this since 2016 and have always enjoyed playing the game and exploring Europe! Its very fun with friends and has great mod support if you're looking to make the game more realistic.
If you want to save your braincells never go on TruckersMP :)
Everyone remembers what buying your first truck felt like. You had worked tirelessly and hard for a long time and you finally could afford to buy a truck. You drive your newly bought truck out of your garage and some idiot NPC comes speeding down the road and hits your truck. And now you don't want to play the game anymore.

Game is great. After Greece DLC game crahses every 5 or less minutes.
You would think that pretending to work after a long day at work (or at college) will not be good. But it actually is somehow...
This game (or simulator really) is like a meditation for you. Most of the time, you just sit back and enjoy the scenery and occasionally looking at the GPS for the route. It's addictigly chill. Which is probably why this "game" is really popular.
The graphics, while look dated by today's standards, still look pretty good! And you can probably run this game on almost any modern potato PC (I know you can because I used to play this on an Intel HD 2500 iGPU on 3rd gen i5).
Only thing I don't really like is the number of achievements that are tied to DLCs. For most people, this won't be an issue, but for those who are looking to get all achievements, you need to buy like 8-10 (I think so at least) DLCs to get all achievements.
Overall, great game/simulator for stress busting. Not so great for completionists.
I had 100 km in a 40 km zone. I've lost control and crashed with 6 other cars. My character didn't react at all, as it was something normal.

Really nice game and very fun to play with over 100 hours played I really would say to people to buy this if they had a steering wheel - I have the Logitech g923, though its even more fun when you get trucker mp which you can i get for free and its a add-on to ets2 and it adds multiplayer. Really great Game.

it's a very good game i played this game for 16 hours and i recomened for another people for people who want a truck/open world game or he want's to travel in entire world.
While driving a slow-moving behemoth around Europe may not at first seem like a likely choice for a driving simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a highly addictive and delightful game. The graphics are phenomenal, and the developer's attention to detail in recreating Europe's roadways and landmarks is a sight to see (literally). The trucks are endlessly upgradeable and customisable from the paint job to the engine, transmission, tyres and accessories. I highly recommend that you give this gem a go.
The game is realistic and feels smooth, it's the real thing.
Before this game entered my life, my soul carried a profound sense of incompleteness, as though I had been searching endlessly for the final piece of a metaphorical puzzle. Days blurred into nights as I devoted fifteen hours a day to Femboy Aim Trainer, sharpening my skills for an impending esports tournament. Yet, it was not there that I found fulfillment. Instead, it was here, in the daring escapades of transporting 40 tons of cocaine and fentanyl from Poland to the farthest reaches of the UK for €500, that my soul finally felt whole. A thrilling masterpiece, unparalleled in its bold allure. 10/10.

Euro Truck Simulator 2. You know what kind of person loves this? Germans. Picture this - some German bloke comes home from his actual job, probably designing efficient pencil sharpeners or something, and goes "You know what would be great? More work, but pretend work.
I thought it was a joke. "Oh brilliant, I can pretend to be a lorry driver, that's exactly what I need in my life." But turns out, yeah, it actually is what I needed in my life. It’s like a little break for your brain. A mental massage. Just sitting back, letting all the stress float away. Like your brain’s got its feet up with a cuppa, going, ‘Thank you. This is nice.
It's properly mental how detailed it is. You've got to do everything - the indicators, the gears, watching your fuel like you're trying to squeeze the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube. And you're not just zipping around the corner - these deliveries take actual hours. Real hours! Of your actual life! And you're sitting there going "Yes, I successfully backed into a loading bay, this is what entertainment has become."
But here's the thing - it's brilliant because it's boring. It's not like those racing games where you're doing loop-de-loops and shooting mushrooms at other cars. It's just you, the open road, and the constant fear of getting a virtual speeding ticket. You're basically on holiday, except instead of seeing the Eiffel Tower, you're delivering fertilizer to Stuttgart.
The weather effects are amazing too. When it rains, it proper rains. Not like that pathetic drizzle we get in Britain - proper, cinematic rain. And the graphics? Gorgeous. You're driving through forests, past cities, all while thinking "I could be doing this in real life, but then I'd have to actually learn how to drive a truck."
The best part? You can put the radio on. Just cruise down the virtual autobahn, listening to whatever you want. It's like karaoke, but you're pretending to be a long-haul trucker. Mental.
That's Euro Truck Simulator 2. Absolutely ridiculous concept. Absolutely brilliant game. The Germans were right all along. Who knew?
It's an amazing game, just need to make it more realistic and fix the ai. I recommend it to anyone who saw this that hasn't buy any driving sin before.

Bought this game thinking I'd chill. Ended up in a heated argument with myself over why my virtual truck drinks more fuel than my old Maruti 800. 😂
Driving in ETS2 felt weird at first—no cows, no weddings, no random guy overtaking you on the left to stop dead in front of you. But hey, it’s nice not to fear for your life every time you hit the highway. 👀
But the true highlight? Driving on the wrong side of the road just to feel at home. The NPCs get mad, but they don’t yell “OMMALA VEETLA SOLTU VANTIYA?!” so it’s kind of peaceful. 😌
10/10 - Needs more chai stops and dhabas for the full experience. 🛣️
Amazing game and graphics but there's a serious issue about the convoy. There's a lot drop fps to me and my friends to some countries and our Trucks, trailers and cargo are getting destroyed because of that!

They love to fine you in this game....and the AI drivers are realistically stupid.

I am so tired of being nickel and dimed on every dlc. One dlc will open a new country which is great but it'll add only 2-5 cities and like 3 roads. Then after a year or two they'll release the a new dlc for that same country that adds 2-3 new cities and 1-2 roads. The game isnt bad but the amount of money grubbing this game does is astounding. They clearly cater to the whales that have a dedicated room in their home with the full simulator kit for the one sim game they buy and play it fanatically for life.
