Baba Is You is one of the most original puzzle games ever made. If you enjoy bending your brain and messing with logic instead of just button-mashing, this one is a gem. Each level is like a brain teaser where you have to rethink how the game works. Just be ready to sit there sometimes staring at “Flag is Win”… with no flag in sight.

I wouldn’t recommend Baba Is You to just anyone. It’s definitely not casual – it looks cute and simple, but it can be really frustrating. If you get stuck, the game doesn’t offer any hints or help. You either take a break and come back later with a fresh mind, or you’ll probably end up searching for the solution online.
This isn’t the kind of game you play to relax after a long day. It’s more like a brain gym – super clever, but also mentally exhausting at times.

HOLY SHIT, i have never felt so retarded before in my life. I used tutorials on basically every level, prob only 30 levels did i do myself. Didn't feel satisfying, sry not for me.

It was my first proper puzzle game and my gateway into the expert puzzle community, I assume a lot of people also first got into the genre through Baba. It manages to have an accessible and interesting premise and develops it immaculately. Few levels are just making a rule, it always makes the most out of each puzzle. Iconic, with a community that's still very active and kinda annoying even 6 years after its release. Recommend to basically anyone.

One of the best puzzle games of all time. In a lot of ways in the sweet spot of programming mindset without being at all a programming game.

It is famously difficult—but at almost all moments there's something else you can go do if you got stuck. This is even more true now that the second campaign has been released.

If you at all think you like puzzles and haven't played Baba Is You, you should.

Joking aside, the game was indeed entertaining and challenging at the same time. While there were puzzles that really required high-thinking to pass, it was all worth it. If you're looking for a indie game to really test your knowledge in logic puzzles, then Baba Is You is the game for you.

this might just be the greatest puzzle game of all time, after over 30 hours i'm not even close to the true ending or finding all the secret worlds. whenever you think you finally understood this game, it flips its own rules on its head

Unique core idea for a puzzle game, and repeatedly delivers on clever ways to build upon the core concept.
It delivers difficulty through surprising twists of logic rather than sheer level complexity (but the twists always felt accurate and like I was the one that failed to see it, not like I was struggling due to arbitrary rules).
I don't think any other puzzle game has had me staring at a level with so few possible moves for so long, wondering why none of the possible moves is a solution. Excellent game.

While the game might seem too simplistic or even ugly at first glance, don’t let that fool you. This is an absolute masterpiece among puzzle games. The levels are creative, clever, and genuinely fun to play. As you’ve probably already guessed, I love this game with all my heart and highly recommend everyone to give it a try — at least once.

Whoever made this game is incredibly smart. The puzzles are actually hard and stimulating, and the art and mechanics are crisp. Easily 10/10 and I never write reviews.

Not really sure how to describe this game other than this: It's the best puzzle game I've ever played, and I think it will be the best puzzle game I ever do play until I'm proven wrong. I hate it and I'm too stupid to finish it. 10/10

Baba Is You has some of the most clever gameplay concepts for a puzzle game that I've seen in years. A simple concept centred around rules and your little blob, but it somehow manages to expand its system surprisingly deep.

You will want to smash your head against the keyboard sometimes. You will feel like an idiot when you finally figure out some of the solutions. You will look at new board and go: "Wait... what?!" But you will also have a great time, and it feels very satisfying when you have those little "aha" moments. If you like puzzle games that will do all the above, definitely check this out.

after 100%-ing the game I can confidently say this is the most insane puzzle game i've ever played or even seen
its crazy how unique of a concept it is to push words around to make the rules of the game and all but a handful of puzzles are extremely well designed and fun to figure out.
its also obscenely difficult in the endgame so its a good thing my friend and I are both programmers who are professionally trained in the art of bashing our skulls against keyboards until things work

there are secret levels inside secret levels inside a level that is actually a world map which was actually an secret level.

One of the most innovative and out-of-the-box thinking puzzle games I've played. With the difficulty of each level and there being TONS of levels available, this is the kind of game you play slowly over many months, just a few stages at a time.

I love this game! I have been absolutely addicted recently. Very fun puzzle game that is different from anything else I've played.

Do you think most games have too easy puzzles? Then this game is just for you. Easy to understand but hard to master. A lot of content with varying difficulty. At 34 hours I've finished the end challenge but aren't even halfway of beating all the levels. The game is well worth it's asking price.

This game is best enjoyed in small doses!

While it's a good game, I believe most people will struggle with it. This game is a language logic puzzle game, if you struggle with logic puzzles, or language puzzles, I unfortunately have to steer you either away or towards watching someone else play. However, watching someone else play can often give a similar experience to playing yourself, at least if you are also trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle.

The art style is cute, the music is chip tune. There are some flashing effects. The music does stick around when you alt tab (which is helpful if you need to start looking for a guide).

I also recommend not being afraid to look for a guide, as I do believe everyone will need one at least once.

Baba Is You is the most impressive puzzle games I've ever played. The mechanics of the game lead to such differing, unique interactions that each level feels wildly different in their solutions, even levels that intentionally look similar to each other. It perfectly captures the idea of "think outside the box", especially in the later levels. For such whimsical graphics you wouldn't expect such a hard game.

It's been years since I played this and yet I don't think I'll ever find a game that replaces this game as "the most amazing puzzle game ever" in my head.

Some kind of wizard made Baba is You because I've never had to exercise so much lateral thinking. The difficulty progression is designed to make the player think of increasingly creative or obscure ways to make or apply the rules. This allows the puzzles to usually remain simple but still baffling. Figuring out new tricks lead to satisfying "eureka" moments that make the game so compelling.

The downside is I got stuck on quite a few puzzles for a long time. This happened frequently enough that trying to complete all the levels felt like a slog. However, the game seems to acknowledge its difficulty because it requires only about half or less of most area's levels be completed before another area is unlocked. Each new area introduces at least a couple new building blocks for constructing rules, so just progressing through the game doesn't feel so bad.

There are some pretty fun secrets to find too, but while these secrets are the game's most mind-blowing moments, they ultimately led me to finally get tired of the game as well. It's hard to explain without spoilers, but these secrets lead down a rabbit hole that I felt goes too deep. If you're the type who likes to complete everything in a game (without looking up a walkthrough, of course), be prepared for a long journey with this one.

Very fun game but at some point i felt the game required a highlevel of intellegence to be able to proceed.

Every puzzle has infinite retries. Great game to play for a bit and then come back to if your brain gets puzzled out.

Though solutions are interesting once understood, puzzles rely too much on random guessing, so there is frequently little sense of satisfaction upon completing a puzzle. Additionally, many puzzles rely on basic sokoban mechanics which isn't interesting, as sokobans are extremely common.

A fun game to always try and entertain your brain a bit. Genuinely feels nice being able to 100% it and on top of that, installing a bunch of level packs that are very faithful to the base game. Always fun booting this up every now and then.

What an incredible puzzle game, it seems so simple at the start but as you get further in to the levels you start a lot of complexity in terms of what you can do and what the level needs you to do. I really enjoyed my experience, even though I got frustated sometimes for not knowing what to do.

It's a cool game about using text to beat levels and stuff.

Beautiful game, the puzzles are definitely unconventional, hard but fair. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely suck at this game and it makes me feel like I have room temperature IQ. But, I had a valuable realisation. I constantly feel like I have tried all combinations that could possibly be worth doing and the puzzle seems impossible. I then wonder how many times in my life I looked at a situation where I believed there was no possible solution and gave up when there may in fact have been one. That's what I really got out of this game. Now I don't give up on things in life so easily.
Maybe this game will make you feel that too, even if you suck at it. Particularly if you suck at it.

Very comfy game but also can be very hard. There tend to be two kinds of puzzles in games broadly speaking, hard to solve but easy once you figure it out, and easy to figure out the trick but hard to arrange the pieces. This game tends to have puzzles of the former category where most of the levels require clever solutions but aren't tedious to execute which is my favorite kind. There are a few of the latter kind but the game is primarily one of figuring out the puzzles' tricks.

It's Baba!! What can I even say about this game that hasn't already been said. Its unique premise, tight and engaging puzzle design, and cozy-cute visual and sound design all come together perfectly to create one of the most satisfying puzzle game experiences out there. It's an impeccable concept for a game with an EVEN BETTER execution. And on top of that, the amount of content in the game (hundreds of levels!) is so substantial that the thirst to spend as much time as you can here is easily slaked.

Fun puzzle game, truly tests your min d and logic.
only downside its the headaches that come with some of the levels

The concept of puzzles in Baba is You stimulate the brain and make you sometimes feel that the level is unsolvable, only to come back days later and realize it actually wasn’t after deep thought. Then, you get a great feeling of satisfaction.

Some levels, however, feel too tightly packed, with such a large search space that brute-forcing every option takes too long.

This is a really fun puzzle game. Makes you think outside of the box. Frustrating at times but super satisfying to beat hard levels. Even funner with friends.

Yep the best puzzle game is a sokoban game. Who would have thought that Baba and stephen's sausage roll would be the peak of puzzle design.
