The game is an amazing piece of art. It has well-thought progress and a bunch of user levels after the main game. Absolutely recommended.

When I first played this, I really liked the gimmick and thought it was an amazing puzzle game, but couldn't quite see why people considered this one of the best puzzle games ever.

Then I played the level "Fragile Existence".

Do you want to stare at a screen, touching nothing, brow furrowed, for hour after hour? This is the game for you. It's like dark souls, except the boss is some stupid little collection of stupid words that are stupid. And mean. And lame. I don't need words anyway!

This game is hands down one of the most polished and fun puzzle games ever made. There are tons of levels, the mechanics are extremely clever and well designed, graphics are super charming and the music is pretty nice too!

The depth of some solutions were absolutely mind blowing and saying that you need to think outside of the box is an understatement.

I will never stop recommending this game to any puzzle enthusiasts out there.

Baba is you is such an incredible puzzle game. The concept of the game is changing the rules of the puzzle to make it solvable and the puzzles are very well designed. I had a hard time finding even a single puzzle where I felt like the solution I came to wasn't the intended solution. The puzzles are challenging and some can take a long time to solve, I'd often think of the solution in the shower or while on a walk.

I thought this was going to be one of those silly puzzle games that you beat in an hour or so, and are more form over function, but I was so wrong. The mechanics are relatively simple, but the puzzles will require you to stretch them to their limits in ways that may seem unintuitive at first. Then when I thought I was done I came across the level object and thought "I wonder if they would really do that?"; tried it, and realized that this game was so much more. 10/10 this game is so trippy.

I have never finished the game once, but I keep comning back to it, even bought it again for Switch when I was on a family trip. This game's puzzles are easy to start with, but when they get hard, they get HARD fast. More often than not the solution is more about changing perspective than trying to force an answer, which I like, but that makes it very hard to play in longer sessions. Would recommend especially for that price.

This is one of the best puzzle games I have ever played. There are so many thoughtfully designed levels to keep you occupied. When you find the solution of a problem, the eureka moment is such a high, it doesn't take long to implement it. All in all really fun game! Totally worth it for people who love puzzle games. Highly recommend.

I've been slowly going through baba is you - now on the last few levels. I can honestly say one of my top puzzle games - some levels i'll sit on for days and that's part of the fun! don't look up the solution to a level - trust the process!

I really wanted to love this game. It got recommended to me as a "programmer" type game, and in some ways it is. But I really didn't enjoy it.

The game mechanics itself are very unique and the first few levels I enjoyed solving. But the difficulty ramps up tremendously and very early on,to the point where you really have no choice but to either look up hints, or just simply stop playing. Because of the (mostly) linear levels and progression, if you get stuck on a particular set of puzzles you can't go away and do something else ala The Witness.

The main issue I found was that even when looking up hints or even full blown solutions, I didn't have an "aha, how did I not think of that?!" moment. It was more "well... I guess so...". Often involving very specific moves that have absolutely no leeway (e.x. Pushing bricks against walls or any "Is Move" puzzle where things automatically move).

"Baba Is You" is marvelous, clever and excellently designed. There are so many things I adore about this game, I don't even know where to begin; from its constant-but-never-overwhelming introduction of new ideas, to its elegantly open-ended puzzle solutions, to its bonus levels that force you to rethink previous levels in entirely new ways, to its cuteness and charm in its characters. It's a truly special puzzle game in that, even when it gets too difficult and you feel like giving up, you always come back, because baba is you and you can't help but think about that *one* idea you have for a level, even when you're not playing.

Seriously, even if you feel like you're not smart enough for these puzzles, it doesn't matter; this game is wonderful and deserves a chance to break your mind. I highly recommend you give it a shot.

Baba is a whole vibe. The coziest puzzle game of all time just so happens to be one of the greatest puzzle games ever made. Just having this game running in another room of your home is clinically proven to cure depression.

Baba Is You is one of the toughest puzzle games available. Its puzzles and game design are very unique, consisting of building and editing statements and the planning and timing of moves that feel reminiscent to a game of chess.

The music and sound design are perfect for the game's aesthetic style. The game is very cozy, despite being challenging. The art style is adorable and adds to the comfy and simple visual experience.

I'd highly recommend Baba Is You for those up for a legitimately challenging puzzle game.

This game is well designed, but not for everyone. This is not in the same "puzzle" genre as portal 2 or Cocoon. These puzzles are f-ing difficult. That said, if you enjoy really tough puzzles this game is for you.

Game lost its creativity and freedom for solving puzzles after world 1. You have to follow same developer pattern to solve most of the puzzles after world 1(especially bonus levels).

This is the greatest puzzle game of all time. It isn't for everyone, and it can be head-slammingly hard, but if you get into the groove of it and speak its "language", you'll have a great ride.

Simply the best puzzle game I have ever played. Unbelievably creative. Solving a level gives me an immense sense of accomplishment. You have to fall in all the traps before hoping to find the solution.

I've solved about 40 levels so far and had to check the solution on YouTube for two of them because I was hopelessly stuck. In both cases, it turned out to be because I didn't understand that a given mechanic was actually possible. Now I try experimenting as much as possible with all the rules, I think that's what the game is really about. Sometimes I'll try something goofy and that doesn't seem right and it unveils a new way of bending the rules.

In conclusion, BABA IS BUY, BABA IS GOTY.

Baba is you is a puzzle with a very interesting way of interacting with the levels. Baba is built around pushing words that the define the rules of the world. For example the combination of _ is You whatever the first word names is what you control, (typically Baba) but if you were to break the sentence you would be unable to move as now you are no longer yourself. other words include commands like Stop (blocks motion) or Kill (destroys player avatar) and many more. These combinations are used to create VERY challenging but enjoyable puzzles, so challenging in fact that I have yet to beat the game.
This game also contains a level editor so that players can try to create their own puzzles

I would recommend this game. it has a very interesting concept paired with sublime execution, I you choose to purchase the game I assure you you won't regret it

A unique and interesting puzzle game. I've mostly played this on my switch and phone. I bought this version as a tool to use at work for mentoring. In a work setting it's good for training questioning assumptions, identifying steps needed to accomplish a goal, and creative thinking.

The best puzzle game I've ever played! (I haven't done the bonus content yet). It has an editor as well which is also pretty good. Recommending to play this game would be an understatement

Loved the graphics. The game was fun but very challenging for me. Got stuck pretty much all the time and had to wait for that moment when you suddenly realise an angle you overlooked before. Haven't refer to a guide yet so we will see whether I will admit defeat sooner or later.

Amazing game. Challenging but rewarding, great visual style and has that magic of games like tetris or mario kart, simple games that somehow you just can't stop playing. Also great if you just wanna play for a few minutes at a time.

Baba Is You is one of the best puzzle games out there, being one of the best, if not the best, Sokobanlikes ever created. The game is about playing with the very rules of the game and it keep bending your understanding on how to solve a level with multitudes of different "keywords" added across its worlds. It also has great building blocks for user created worlds.

An excellent and creative puzzle game. It maybe gets a bit too much and overwhelmingly meta in later stages of the game. But you can stop before then and still feel accomplished. I know I did.

Absolutely perfect. They take a simple premise and find incredibly creative ways to implement it. Each puzzle is unique and most are fairly challenging, although in a way that's almost never frustrating, it may require a lot of experimentation but I rarely ever felt stuck even on levels that took nearly an hour to solve.

Excellent innovative puzzle game, will blow your mind trying to figure the alternatives and possibilities!
