The player is at once the screenwriter and director of a film. As screenwriter, he writes the story. As director, he has the principal role in choosing the cast, controlling the production design and managing the creative aspects of filmmaking.
Simple Movie is a Non Player Character animation (NPC-mation) tool where:
NPC-mation is an animated filmmaking technique in which NPC are manipulated by a movie program in small increments between individual screenshots (frames) so they exhibit independent motion when the frames series is played back as a sequence. NPCs with movable joints are used for their ease of repositioning.
The movie program contains scenes, with each scene having one or more lines.
A line has an actor or an item, animation (actors only), a start and end locations (can be the same), camera, speed (or duration) and subtitles.
NOTE: The output video depends on the installed video codec. The game does not include any video codec (except uncompressed video).

Once Upon a Time ...
In a movie studio game :) ...
I like the idea to feel like creator of movies (not just a consumer).
To be able to make "The Lego Movie" alike films for Youtube is great.
I would recommend making more tutorial films. Without watching tutorial clips the movie making is not so easy. May be also adding own sound fragments will be good.
The simplistic style is great!
While I didn't like it due to it not being very intuitive, I would still recommend it to anyone who is prepared to find the tutorials ad watch them all. I will definitely re-buy and reinstall if/when the devs add an interactive tutorial mode (preferably optional).
I like it,but can you upload the all lessons to Steam?I am Chinese.I cant visit your website.I don't know how to move the car.XD
Really liked the idea. Its hard at first, maybe you can lose an hour before you make the first movie, but after that its a lot of fun. I would recommend to watch at least one or two tutorials before trying it on your own, because you can get very confused with what and how to do.
I enjoy this game, but I would like to be possible to add sounds.
