Police Simulator: Patrol Officers

Have 70 hours in this game over the course of years. Always hoping it would grow to be something amazing but it hasn't and now its dead. I'd recommend getting this if you get it for literally 5 dollars or less.
The AI is bad.
Voice acting is repetitive and bad.
There are paid DLCs when the game in general is still not fixed.
I can't stress enough how bad the AI is.
Will never play again

Its a good game but npcs are broken. Physics are broken [cars]. Dlc is expensive.

The AI is pretty brainless and the actions feel robotic instead of real human interactions. 4.5/10.

Very good game. I like that they have almost 150 page handbook to learn about the police department. Thank you. After you complete the game which is basically unlocking all cities and gaining all achievements you can officially say you are a simulated police officer.

Devs seemed to have abandoned the game- no updates and no communication. Game is massively bugged and virtually unplayable.

The more of the map / actions unlocked, the buggier the game gets...
And yet I still find it addicting haha

Fun game! Different police cars to drive, many different accidents to write reports on and very realistic in terms of having to deal with drunk drivers. For the money, its enjoyable.

I bought this game, hoping for a somewhat GTA LSPDFR style of a game where you can go to all kinds of realistic calls. Instead, I spent the only 30 minutes I played for the game doing the required thing which was walk around a city, handing out tickets to car that were parked illegally.
Not satisfied..

Shovelware and essentially abandonware. Made by semi-competent developers that simultaneously made a game that's not fun, and not authentic. Essentially a trap for young tweens and teenagers. Do not buy any titles from this developer - it's not worth the price. It's so jank that you might get 20 minutes of "oooh interesting I wonder what I can do" before you want to uninstall the game and dream about what the world would be like if someone competent made a first responder game.

Its a fun game, but I don't think the sim goes far enough to scratch the police simulator itch. You are issued a gun but cannot use it. I think it would be more fun if they started releasing a variety of more call outs that allowed you to use a gun, taser or pepper spray. It would be great if they fixed more of the bugs in the game.

I like the game and I want to play but I can't because game is buggy and it gets very irritating. I also want to use the gun but it's pointless as there is no use.

Great concept lots of potential but riddled with problems. The switch version is virtually unplayable. The steam version is decent but still buggy. For the price this should be a little more polished. Not a bad grab if its on sale. I love this game but please fix it!

Also they give you a gun but the only time you can use it is to get people out of vehicles (which you of course need a DLC to use) and if you try to use it any other time it will either result in your shift ending, or getting like -20 CP.

Don't buy this game. Just don't. The developers would rather get as much money as possible out of you, and then abandon the game then actually update the main game.

offline game play is fine. online gameplay for all their games suck ass

Honestly it takes a while to get to the fun parts but it is one of the best cop games ive played

Game keeps crashing and when it does run for more than 5 minutes, it's almost unplayable because I can't interact with anybody in a car which Google is telling me has been a common problem for a while and still hasn't been fixed. There are visual glitches during searches and other things too. A nice idea but a poorly made game in too many ways. Waste of money and I can't get a refund because it's been more than 2 weeks.

This is a buggy abandoned mess that does not depict simulated policing in a busy city - and trust me, I have an idea of what policing a city is like.

You're pretty much going to constant traffic collisions, every NPC has the same voice and dialog and everyone in the city seems to drink and drive or drug and drive?

Where are the domestic abuse calls?
The shop thefts?
The robberies?
Assaults?
Failure to stop?
Gun crime?
Serious assaults?
Knife crime?
Night-time economy?
Scene Guards (Oh god please actually no) or Hospital watch ;)
And so on?

It is just RTCs (Road Traffic Collisions), finding a wanted person, and crime scenes that don't make sense as a response/patrol officer.... You are not playing as a detective/CID/CSI.


The AI is also horrible.

This game has been out for a while and they still have not fixed the bugs. Why?

Everything is great, Though personally I do get a glitch after tackling, but other then that I love this game!

It's a cash grab. Fun Idea, bad execution. Painfully slow progression in a realistic location, certain features of the map locked behind DLC, general things that should be in the game, being DLC, and the DLC is overpriced overall. The price of the game itself is completely absurd, for a few bucks more you can get a hyper-realistic FPS Game, (bodycam). This game should NOT be $30, Not at all.

They keep releasing new DLCs without fixing even the most basic bugs, the end result is this absolute mess you cant even launch some DLCs for the crashes they will cause. no effort has went into making the game more playable, just add more assets they probably just flipped and slap a price tag on them.

Ordinarily i could forgive a sim game made by a small team being a bit unpolished but its been over 3 years now since release and no improvement. avoid if you can.

Game is still a mess and very buggy. Controls and just general things are very janky. I just dont understand how you can expect people to pay 20€ for a dlc while the base game is still such a mess. Npc cars constantly get stuck or just randomly stop moving. Backup or Tow trucks get stuck and dont come through to you. Sometimes backup takes the suspect away but then the backup and the suspect just end up standing next to the vehicle. If that happens at a traffic stop you are forced to leave so the area can reset. Its just a mess all around sadly.

the game has a good foundation but it lacks almost everywhere the fact police chases are pay walled is RE-DICK .... fun for making content thats about it !

After almost 73 hours on this game and hoping numerous bugs/glitches will be addressed, I'm afraid they will not.. On the surface its a really fun game and could have been a really great game. I give it about 6/10. Maybe if you catch this game 60%+ off its a buy, otherwise, I would save my money.

More interested in crapping out shill for more money, then they are for new content or fixing the game. Do not buy at this time.

Is fun for the first few shifts but gets very repetitive, I guess thats police work though.

i really wish this game had more love into it than a money grabbing machine(DLC).. i hope that they see and understand at one point that people wants a game that's not buggy and souless..

its just a nice game, sometimes some bugs that would be nice if they are fixed and driving is bad when you drive fast but that all i think

I was introduced to this game from my nephew who has it on Xbox and it looked like fun so I downloaded in on Steam. Overall the game is not half bad, even though... the game can get really laggy, mostly in co-op. The game still needs a bit of work, like times I cannot talk to people, cars start bouncing around, some items I pull from the squad car are not available in my inventory. However I still recommend this game and hope the creators keep pushing updates to make it better and better.

This game is a joke. They abandoned it like they did firefighting simulator. They are soo releasing yet another game...They should just STOP! This is just a cash grab!

It's a very good simulation game. It still does have some glitches that I encounter every so often. Nothing that makes me have to turn the game off to fix. The biggest thing that I dislike so far is driving at night time. The headlights don't exactly help you see at night and especially in the highway package the cars will just come right up in front of you. Other than that it is a great game and I can't wait to see what else comes from this.

40 dollar game... blocking parts of the game since you dont want to waste money on dlc.
imagine buying a game in early access to get slapped by dlc. junk game awful devs just trying to make money

the idea of this game was great. the game is fun at times. however they are so busy make more and more dlc but instead they need to fix the game. the graphics are terrible and very buggy. the driving is also horrible. feels like im playing a driving game on ps1 again. would not waste money on this game till they fix the bugs. it feels more like they wanted to make a game to get money instead of making a good playable game.

the npc's just crash into everything.they drive normally but when i was driving on a highway i was driving i was turning left and they nearly crashed into me so i had to go past but i swerved so i crashed then when i started moving again with my car destroyed with the windows broken a taxi hit me and i crashed into the wall and now i was smoking alot of tailpipe

It's got loads of bugs, but it was fun to play with them for a while, but now can't even play multiplayer, would not recommend even on special offer.

Absolutely bad performance, vehicles are so hard to drive that it doesn't make any sense to buy any of the DLCs. The options when detaining someone also lack reasoning in some cases. Tutorials will tell you that you can do X to X vehicle or civilian and then you get points deducted for doing what the tutorial pointed out.

Ended up refunding the game, gave it a try in multiple occasions to just have the same issues, not worth it.

Good game, just the bugs that make the game annoying to play, imagine the suspect ur escorting decides to become part of the floor just because you clicked to stop escorting him.

This game has horrific optimization for PC, like the controls are janky and terrible. reccomended if u have controllers but if u have a PC stay away

Fix your game before trying to milk more money out of people for useless cosmetic DLC's...
The graphics still look and act just as crappy as when I bought the game a year ago.

Car tires move before my car even moves...
NPC's constantly glitching around the map....
Same 3 Voice lines at every incident.....

this is where you end up if you don't have what it takes to be a SWAT officer.

enjoyable game IF the traffic doesn't get completely jammed up around a scene which usually happens quite frequently. But it's fun. Might revisit once I have more hours in this game.
