It had a wonderful story and cast of characters. I feel like the soundtrack was also pretty awesome too!
PLayed the game entirely on steamdeck and it ran great. Highly recommend

A hidden gem for RPG lovers.
The game may be quite difficult when you first started, but it will eventually smooth out. The end game content is of course WAY harder, but once you know what you should do (what you should grind for), then it wasn't that bad.

Only know about this game because some 0 value reddit user wrote a lord of the rings length "hit piece" on the game.
Bought it to support the devs.

Purchased to support based devs. But the art style is cute. Will update if I get deeper in.

The game was inspired by Pokemon, but is not a creature collector. It plays much more like a classic RPG in which a maximum of 5 characters fight at the same time. A special character can be played during the game (for a few rounds) with different types (e.g. earth, shadow...). The dungeons are usually very linear. Some paths are blocked and only accessible with a certain character in the game.
The game is easy to play on the Steam deck. The only annoying things are the occasionally flickering backgrounds and the fact that achievements are only displayed in-game.

As the pros:
Very good 2d sprites, I mean top notch kind of graphics,
Pokemon vibes all the time,
A little depth in creating of strategy,
Comfy game
Cons:
In normal/hard fights are merciless (look at first fight with cerberus)
Unbalanced in a lot of places in game IMHO

I win this game on easy and I very like it, but I always wondering how it would looks like better if difficulty would be more re-thinked. Still I think you would like not miss this position if you like the aesthetic/a little game which inherit a thing or two from pokemon. Even with some problems you would have fun. Plot is cool but is like a tenaage pokemon story with a lot of friendship and stuff.

There's an argument to be made about separating art from the artist, which is fair and I wont judge anyone for that belief.
I personally believe that art is an extension of the artist, otherwise its just art for arts sake which always seems soulless to me. For this reason alone I cannot recommend this game.
