Undertale

Undertale is one of the best games I've played. I was so upset when I lost the login for my old steam account that I had it on, but happy to be playing again. I love the characters and storyline. 10/10 game that holds a special place in my heart.

With a great story and lovable characters, Undertale will always have the title in my heart of "Best Game Ever"

This is not the most fun game I've played, nor is it one of the most challenging, impressive or intuitive ones.

But it's the one I think about the most.

A story so unique and memorable that it started it's own genre of internet culture, and one of the greatest soundtracks to a video game ever composed.

any negative reviews on this game is an insult to all humanity. this game is one of the those perfect games with no bad sides, no annoying parts, just perfection.

I've been obsessed with this game since i was 8 years old, first played it on switch, now that I've grown and I've given this game the time to actually make sense instead of me being obsessed with the characters, i can say wholeheartedly this game is beautifully constructed up to the soundtrack down to the lore.

What can I say about Undertale that hasn't already been said? The game is a masterpiece. It's a love letter to retro games in a modern engine with modern ideas. The music is one of the best examples I've seen of using the same ingredients and getting many different, equally amazing results. The story has made me cry on more than one occasion. The gameplay is innovative and fun. I've replayed multiple times and will likely do so again. It's not a stretch to say that this game changed my life.

Undertale's story explores morality and lives unlike any other game. On story alone, it belongs in the hall of fame of gaming. Yet, it also has neat art and fun rpg puzzles and combat.

i really liked this game because of how fun and interactive the game is, also because during resets flowey and sans can remember what you did which i think is super cool also its quite a legendary RPG game.

This game is probably my favorite game of all time, I don't know why I 'm haven't played this game earlier. but I think this game is never too late to play, when I bought it I was going to play genocide afterward. but after I finished the true pacifist, it made me love the characters even more, I'll never thinking of doing genocide ever again.

This game is still great to this day. The characters are fun, the story is great, and the gameplay is decent. The game is a bit short however, but that’s only if you decide to play it once. Oh right, we gotta talk about that. There’s more than one ending depending on how you play the game and to get them all, it’ll require multiple playthroughs. Overall, this is a short and sweet game that I recommend that you pick up (also go start playing Deltarune ya bum).

By FAR the BEST RPG I've ever played. This game tells a very engaging story with a timeline that's not too rushed, but also balanced between excitement and terror. The story itself is complicated, with 4th wall break-ings and unsolved mysteries of a particular man(to this day!). The average player doesn't even need to understand the full story to enjoy the game, as the soundtracks just can't get any better. Finest pieces I've heard which also I'm very sure that and it's in a VIDEO GAME. Not to mention, the brutality and interpretation for not choosing mercy is immense.
Overall, UNDERTALE is a great game. It tells a story which keeps your curiosity going, teaches the value of mercy, and just has the most lovable characters.

Undertale I would say is an extremely simple, unique game that really brought something out of me. I would have never thought I would enjoy a game like Undertale, but grew to love it after playing it through. It's such a simple game but at the same time so complex. All the different ending and choices the game forces you to make it really amazing. It's super unique in it's pixelated art style, unique characters, and AMAZING soundtrack. Absolutely AMAZING soundtrack, and sometimes would find myself just sitting there idle and listening to the music of the game. Although this is my first playthrough, it still feels like it brings some nostalgia and soundtrack is a TRUE masterpiece. Overall, I really loved the story, and I really feel like it reached to me. The characters were awesome and Undertale had so many funny parts of the game and I found myself laughing constantly at a lot of the parts. But, at the same time it had some extremely intense moments, and the ending I got was REALLY intense. I loved how each character had their own unique personalities, it really brings variety to the characters and makes the game way more interesting than having bland characters. The combat of the game was very simple, but I found myself being challenged and dying a couple of times with the tougher bosses. I had the neutral ending, and overall was happy with the choices I made and just genuinely really had a blast with this game. It was something totally unique to me and I never played anything like it, but it broaden my taste and variety in gaming and is a game I would easily consider a CLASSIC. Overall, really solid story, great characters, love the humor aspect, decent combat, AMAZING SOUNDTRACK, and very nostalgic. I give Undertale an 8/10.

I've been wanting to play Undertale myself for a long time now, and once I realized I could get it on Steam I jumped on it right away. Plus with it being on sale for like $3 was great, or the game plus soundtrack was on sale for around $6. So I went with the soundtrack double pack since the music in this game is just worth the extra money, being able to listen to it whenever I want. My overall experience so far has been good, the game runs well, even on my crappy laptop. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wasn't played it before.

I was obsessed with this game when I was like 10, then didn't get it until I was like 12. Good game, fun boss fights, exceptional soundtrack. There are no words to describe the emotional power and genius of the UNDERTALE soundtrack.

i bought this game because i had nothing better to do but damn i understand why people love this game it has really good charm simplicity humor combat and the music is really good some of the elements in this game are genuinely better than most triple A games i've played in recent years and that's astonishing considering how simple the game is i absolutely recommend buying Undertale.

undertale is beutifull. It is hard which is why it took me 17 hours to finish but all in all its my favourite game in the world by far. Bossfights, story and lore are all great.

A masterpiece, up there with the other masterpieces like the Portal games. A must-play for everyone!

Overall just an amazing game.

This is not the best game I ever played, BUT, this is the best experience any entertainment media gave me. I spend 30 mins sitting in my chair after "The End", not being able to do anything (maybe besides crying). The only regret I have that it wasn't a blind play through from my part, I was watching a gameplay of someone else until the fight with the robot, that was the moment when I realized that I have to play this game on my own. The only advice I can give is to play this blind. This game is so unique, I don't think anyone can top that.

Undertale is a beautifully crafted experience that will really change your perception of what a good game really is , Every element of this game is crafted carefully and beautifully, the soundtrack is absolutely incredible and when you look at the beautiful renditions done by others on YouTube etc, you can really appreciate how beautiful the score has been composed, it’s amazing to think undertale encapsulates such a moving experience that has been completely tied together with dialogue , it really exemplifies the power of writing and creativity, the characters are so real and their individual personalities stand out simply in dialogue, to the extent I became incredibly attached to these characters to the point where I actually miss them daily.

Undertale features a system of morality that will have you question every decision you make because why would you do such a thing to such lovable characters? It really does make you question your own f-ed up sense of morality, filled with a ton of lore that seems to tie together in harmony , but the thing about undertale that stood out most to me is the game does an incredible job of making you feel as if you are on an actual journey, with most good games I complete , I simply wait impatiently for the sequel but I didn’t get such a feeling with undertale, I felt as if I had completed a journey , met some lovable people and was quite satisfied to quit the game and remember it, I miss the game so much but I’m so satisfied with the experience I have no urge to replay it , it’s just something I like to remember.

All in all I believe Undertale to be an experience everyone should take if you have the means to do so, you will be shocked at how dialogue and well written characters can really encapsulate an incredible experience, I cannot stress undertales 10/10 rating enough , I swear it’s worth your time and money.

I found out about Undertale in 2015-2016 and it was en incredibly huge part of my late childhood and my teen years. Back then, we didnt have the kind of money to spend on games, so my father pirated it for me. I played that game every single day, over and over again, and again, and again, and i never got bored, for hours. Once i got my own credit card, i immediately went and bought it at full price. Undertale is incredibly charming in every way. An absolutely beautiful game that i will forever love and defend with my life. Genuinely, hands down, the most beautiful game ive ever played. The atmosphere, the characters, and the ost is to die for. I promise you that this game will be worth every penny of your money.

A really good fighting game for children 10+ with no gore/blood. After 10 hours of playing this game, I have to say, it has good lore, good story, and an easy system to get used to after like an hour.

This game has definitely has been one of the best indie games to have ever come out and would strongly recommend anyone to play this game if you are deciding on it. Try to avoid spoilers as best as you can too.

Undertale was a game I first saw as a kid, I watched a full play through of it on Jacksepticeye's channel and became an instant fan of it. While I haven't touched it in a while, I beat it back in 2021/2022 twice since I had so much fun playing it the first time. If you're one of my friends looking to play something that's decently challenging and "classic" I'd recommend getting it. Side note: could never bring myself to do a genocide route lol

one of the best RPGs of all time. Easy to learn mechanics, difficult to master. A great story that makes you want to get both endings. Fun, engaging characters. The best video game soundtrack to date. (honorable mention: Minecraft.)

I like this game however I would say its pretty overrated combat is fun but the story just doesn't really do it for me. If you're going in for the story I would say maybe pick something else, but if you're looking for a fun bullet hell with some banger OSTs it's definitely worth it.
