因为10年前的“复活”而被彻底孤立的完全环境都市（arcology）。恐怖的幻想生物接连出没，原本是都市富裕象征的蒸汽机械文明也发生了变异，

Before I start, I've been having trouble getting this game to work through steam so it does not show that I played it very long. Rest assured I played the entire VN. If anyone could contact me about an English patch that works with this version of the game I'd be much obliged.
(Also this is more of a sales pitch rather than a review of sorts. I love this game. I could go into detail pointing out how it did x and y very well vs most other things but I think that'd be boring. So I'd rather show you.)
Seiken no Inganock: what a beautiful people
I've seen a ton of sci-fi worlds in my time. From western culture and eastern alike. Very few get as intimate with the world as Inganock. At the beginning it sells you on its bleak almost helpless atmosphere then delivers with a fully fleshed out city that feels lived in. This bleak world may seem desolate but throughout the story many pockets of hope are planted and perhaps humanity can rise above. Each chapter has you spending more time just trying to live in this world unforgiving world. It takes you through everything they have to go through, day to day living. The attention to detail is just astounding.
Well what is this Bleak world? This city is the world of fantastic mutants the city of Inganock. Events from 10 years ago caused massive mutations to everyone yet mysteriously everyone has forgotten the events. Humans have mutated over the past 10 years to become mutants with both animal and other characteristics. These changes to their body do give them what are basically superpowers yes but they also remove a bit of their humanity. Peoples brain chemistry changes along with their body. They start showing characteristics of these animals. Both positive and negative. One examples for being a cat girl, in exchange for super speed and cat reflexes you get: A cat tongue is very sensitive to heat. So having to eat some food can be a chore. Making food also becomes harder too because you now have a set of hands that can barely work a pot. (considering all food taste bad no what probably not worth the hassle). You don't have a place you can call home, only a nest you place things in and a bunch of other places you find yourself sleeping from time to time. Living life happily and normally becomes a impossible. Your mind and body begin alter to something alien to what you would call a normal human being. That is what it means to be a fantastic beast of Inganock. People also turn into piles of rock, plants, insects, and various other things that slowly change the people. With these forms comes all new sorts of diseases that plague the city. And due to the political power structure built on a strict class culture poverty runs rampant and no one can move up the chain. With the city surrounded by a thick mist no one can leave, everyone must stay. The famous self sustaining city turns into a joke cut off from the rest of the world.
That is a taste of what the world of Inganock is like. Its a heart warming story with a bleak setting. It spends plenty of time placing hope within this bleak desolate setting. It may seem hopeless but everyone is still human.
