One of the best games I have played. Going to lose a lot of time playing this
At first I found it difficult to get into this game, (And I love RPG's), one day I sat down and told myself "I will play this game and beat it" instead of picking it up for a week and putting it down like I do with many games
The Witcher 3 ended up being one of the best games I've ever played. Incredible story and characters, still beautiful graphics, with the animations being really the only thing that aged, but this game came out in 2015! Fun combat and dialogue, and you really can delve into the role playing aspect of being a Witcher and prepping/researching before battles.
And the DLC was almost like an entire other game, I equally loved both for their own reasons. I wish I could go back to before I beat this game just so I could play it blind again.
TLDR: Easily one of the greatest RPG's ever made. So if you like RPG's you owe it to yourself to play it!
the game is wonderfull, love it so much !
This game is just phenomenal. From the story to the characters everything is just perfect. They polished the combat with this one, unlike the previous entries. If you want great RPG game with good combat, great story, relaxing medieval soundtracks, decent replayability, this game is exactly for you
Took me multiple attempts to actually get into and now I've finished the game multiple times.
Haven't experienced any crashes with the latest updates myself, however performance is a bit temperamental with RT on - admittedly I did wait for a few updates after 4.0 was released as there were issues.
Also Gwent.
As someone coming from The Elder Scrolls franchise, this game is something else. Don't let the stupidly tedious introduction make an impression - or the odd combat controls. You get a hang of it in like 2 hours. At first I hated Geralt because my girlfriend loves him so much. But now I love him as well. Also there's boobs.
Honestly, the story is one of the best I've ever seen in a game. But jesus christ the gameplay is just horrendous. Most people who love the game seem to say the same thing from what I've seen. If gameplay is important to you in a game, just watch someone else play the it. A genuine slog to get through, with no challenge
The Witcher books are miserable (read 4 of them), the TV-show is bad, but the game is really interesting. And it still looks good in 2024.
The Witcher 3: wild hunt this is the best game I’ve ever played. This is I think my the most favorite game. I’ve played in this game around 6 times. I love the open world in this game, a lot of different quests, the plot is awesome and RPG mechanics is cool. I like combat mechanics, gameplay , and that you can choose different Witcher school to play. Viper school, bear school, wolf , Cat school , griffin etc. That’s why I love it. There are also a lot of side quest and hidden quest with treasures and others. I’m playing also in the Witcher 1 and once I finish planning to go to Witcher 2. Everyone should to try this games guys. You gonna become a big fun of this game. Good luck!
Still one of the best games I've ever played. Excellent character development, story line, combat, etc. One of my all time favorites!
Started Witcher III, it is good. Really good RPG game with a mythical setting.
I really like the mods too.
10/10.

Great game, but doesn't deserve a 95% rating
AND it still has some issues, even after the next-gen update.
First of all, as you may have heard, it's a great game. But not because of the combat, gamepaly or the RPG elements, but because of the world, the story and feeling. And probably mainly because of some of the side quests, since the main story doesn't go anywhere for quite a while and is quite redundant
But anyway, how about a few things that really aren't that great. a negative review should list the negative things after all, right?
Well, the levelling system is... bad, levelling isn't fun and doesn't feel rewarding, especially because you don't just have to unlock the skill, you have to equip it, and you're very limited by that amount. There's even a single skill that changes the interactions in conservation that you have to equip in order to use it. The way it works means that you have to focus on a few skills, which severely limits the potential for variety. Oh, and you get way too strong for combat pretty quickly. This is why people recommend the harder modes, as it can get boring otherwise. I mean, I was able to kill a boss monster twice my level in 3 igi casts. it could not even move. on the second hardest mode. And the crossbow is useless. you only use it under water and to get down airborn enemies.
also, the controls are really not meant for the keyboard. after 150 hours i still don't know how to switch between jogging and walking except on accident, same goes for heavy and fast attacks. sometimes you control the direction Roach goes with the mouse and camera angle, sometimes just with the keyboard.
oh and there are bugs, in numbers that are impossible to ignore even after the next gen update/patch. nothing bad or game breaking MOST of the time, like loot disappearing after loading, NPCs stuck in an animation you can't interact with, merchants not having a marker, things not being visible (weird in cutscenes), Roach sporning in under water. Your inventory will fill up with quest items that you can't get rid of, even though the quests are already completed, and some of the quest items are no longer marked as essential. Some items were never marked as essential (mostly treasure maps) or are marked as essential even though they’re not special at all. Okay fine and all, BUT
I even have a bug that prevents me from finishing a quest. The trigger isn’t there, and it seems like the bug has always been there.
To me, this just feels like sloppy work.
But now I can understand where all the issues that Cyberpunk had, and still has, are coming from.
For instance, this game doesn’t really have any AI or system around theft. At first, you run around looting everything, even if the owner is standing right next to you. They won’t even complain or say anything. But then a guard will attack you for it. And after that you either stop looting random things or just keep gambling if a guard wants to stop you from stealing. Sometimes some guards attack while others just watch, sometimes they all attack, and sometimes they don’t care at all. No system behind it. It seems like some chests are marked as ‘theft if looted,’ while others aren’t, and they just used random ones without paying attention to which was which. Even when you start a fight, the NPCs hardly react. Just like in Cyberpunk, they only run away screaming for a few meters, although at least the animations here are better.
All in all, it’s still a great game, you’ll feel it, and it’s on its way to becoming a GOAT. But in the end, Witcher 2 was the better game; it’s a shame it didn’t get the same attention.
Also, a sign of not-so-good gameplay: less than half the player base even finished the prologue.
So, watch out, so you won´t become one of them!
If your're looking for a perfect RPG game it would be my first proposition for you! You want some epic adventure? Got it here. Looking for breathtaking graphics and landscapes... well, you got it here as well. You'll never hear such great soundtrack in any other games especially that polish folk music performed by Percival Schuttenbach, it makes a whole climate. One of the best details in that game are amazing side quest, sometimes you are going to feel like you're doing a big main quest with a great history, it's just amazing for me.
All in all, if you haven't played this masterpiece you should do it now and start hunting monsters. Almost everything was made perfectly especially after Next Gen update. You will love it, I'm sure of that.
Good luck and see you in white orchard, I will be waiting for you in the Inn.
Witcher 3 is perhaps my favourite RPG of all time. I'll admit it was a slow burn for the first few hours, and I wasn't exactly captivated initially. I had heard incredible things about this game and I began to wonder what all the hype was about. I'm glad I persisted because the payoff was immeasurable. After getting through the opening missions, the story picks up quickly and I was then sucked into the incredible world created by CD Projekt Red. And what a world it is. The map is absolutely massive, with various different environments to explore. The landscapes are beautiful and appear full of life, from random travellers to nefarious creatures roaming the wild. The sea, likewise, has much variety for those willing to explore the murky depths. The cities and villages feel alive, NPC's actually seem to have some purpose as they go about their tasks, there are shops and taverns everywhere with many accessible indoor areas. There are weather changes and a day/night cycles as well to add even more realism.
The main story presents us with finding Ciri, and reaching her before the malevolent Wild Hunt. For those that haven't played the first two games, while they loosely continue certain events and character relationships, they aren't really necessary to enjoy the adventure here. I would argue though that while the main story does a good enough job of moving the game along, the shining stars are the side quests. Like most RPG's, side quests are a staple with this genre but in Witcher 3 some of these quests are actually much better overall. These quests are everywhere, even a small village has several be it help tracking down a missing person, hunting down a certain creature terrorising the land, or retrieving certain items for a reward. Geralt after all is a bounty hunter and makes his living through these jobs. Also, while some may disagree, I really enjoyed the Gwent mini-game and this could have easily made its own stand alone game (which it eventually did).
The game provides a lot of options for character builds, with options to focus on alchemy, signs, combat or a mix of these. The character tree is deep enough but also not so deep as to need a university math degree to understand, which suits me more than fine. The combat system seems fluid and responsive, albeit simple. Sometimes the camera would frustrate me, especially with multiple enemies.
Finally two expansions were released after the main game. They were offered for free and they may be even better than the base game. Specifically Blood and Wine holds a special place in my heart as the landscapes, characters and overall story is outstanding. I'm amazed that CD Projekt Red would just give these away, yet it displays a certain type of class that just isn't prevalent in the gaming industry anymore.
Witcher 3 was a game I got sucked into during the heat of the Covid Pandemic, and it created some lasting memories into this brilliant world. I was so entranced with the experience (once I finally got hooked) and offered some much needed escapism during this difficult period (I work as an ER nurse). In fact I actually completed all the Steam achievements, collected all the Gwent cards and completed every side mission. And this was before I became a game completionist. I doubt I'll ever be able to recreate the gaming experiences I had during this era. So give this game a go if you can, but give it a fair shot, because there's a good chance you'll be happy you did.
Good game BUT for a really strange reason (probably not money at all ofc) CDRed dropped their game engine to carry over to the really amazing, bug free and really performance friendly UNREAL ENGINE 5 (makes me so horny as an UE5 fangirl tbh).
Another fun fact is, that they started to modarate their threads really hard and everything relating to their UE5 switch, will get deleted - sounds very good.
I was hyped for The Witcher 4 but at this point forget about it. It will be nothing more than photorealistic graphics (without any artistic touch), half baked story, really poor performance and half baked gameplay.
Remember my prediction, thank me later. The only people that will hype The Witcher 4 will be your personal influencer that will be paid by epic games.
Awesome gameplay
The story and options made this an excellent game for streaming
while providing single player enjoyment
Maybe not so appropriate for young children
Geralt can be a bit 'spicy'
Highly Recommended
I have around 250 hours in The Witcher 3 on the PS4, have seen everything there is to see in the game and I'm playing it again despite me not really replaying games. It's not just my favourite RPG, it's my favourite game, period. I think that says enough.
One recommendation. One thing that elevates the experience is reading the books which are set before the games. I recommend that before starting your gaming Witcher journey as it makes experiencing the gaming world and it's stories so much sweeter. So damn good.
P.S. I can't get pass this as it has bothered me since the Witcher 1: The Dandelion and Triss voice-overs are garbage to the point it messes up two really solid characters. It's a hill I'll die on.
Beautiful game, beautiful characters, beautiful story. Played most of this game on Nintendo switch because that's all I had to game on at the time, but I've always loved the Witcher. Playing on a new PC now and the graphics are amazing,, this will always be one of my favorite single player games.
Sort of non related but I highly recommend that people also read the books. My favorite is the Sword of Destiny. Currently on the Time of Contempt and I think players and lovers of the Witcher would really relate.
Still so enjoyable - I could live inside this game, and the recent visual improvements have made it twice as immersive IMHO.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an absolute must-buy, especially for fans of open-world RPGs. The gameplay is a perfect blend of deep combat mechanics, immersive exploration, and rewarding character progression. The swordplay is fluid, and the use of magic (signs) adds tactical layers, allowing you to approach battles in various ways. Hunting monsters is exhilarating, as each encounter feels unique, requiring preparation and strategy.
The world itself is visually stunning, with breathtaking environments that make every moment of exploration a joy. From the misty swamps of Velen to the snow-covered peaks of Skellige, each area feels alive and crafted with incredible detail. Even the weather and lighting effects are awe-inspiring, creating a world that feels dynamic and real.
The DLCs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, enhance the gameplay further. They add new mechanics, areas, and quests that are just as engaging as the base game, making them absolutely worth the purchase.
If you love deep, engaging gameplay and want to get lost in a visually stunning, richly detailed world, The Witcher 3 is a must-have. It’s a masterpiece that delivers on both gameplay and graphics, and I can’t recommend it enough!
still worth playing in 2024, it has its flaws such as the tedious inventory management, but most could be resolved by using mods, and the combat is a bit bland compared to other aspects of the game, but the fascinating stories and world building easily overshadow that. I don't have any prior knowledge of witcher before this game but had no troubles following the stories.
Sehr empfehlenswertes Spiel! Es kann etliche Stunden allein in das Erkunden der Welt investiert werden, von der großartigen Geschichte muss ich gar nicht erst anfangen.
dont play it too much, it consumes you
This is my favorite game. I've played it and re-played it on console for more than 6 times start to end, experimenting with different ends. Now I'm playing it on PC. It's what any games should strive to achieve, from gameplay, mechanics, storytelling, voice acting and everything you can imagine. Please, for the love of everything, give it a try.
Beautiful; the best RPG I've ever played. The story is just so compelling. The locations, the characters, the visuals, the writing, the voice acting, the music... everything together wraps you up in a cozy immersive world that sinks its claws into and doesn't let go. It's unforgettable.
The way the story is structured feeds perfectly into the gameplay loop as well. Every quest has some story behind it, and seems to have some weight or impact on the world. It's never "go kill thirty of this shitty monster and collect their nails and bring them to me" or "Go get this item" or "Follow this NPC for fifteen minutes". There's always a real sense of place and purpose. Small quests go with small stories, big quests with big stories, and everything in-between. It all feels connected somehow. The basic gameplay loop is you do main or secondary storylines until you're too underpowered, then slow down and explore a bit, taking witcher contracts or random side quests and kind of getting lost in your surroundings. Eventually you realize you're pretty beefy and get back to the main quest again. It all feels very seamless and natural.
Of course, there are problems, too. Quirks, let's say. Horseback-riding is hilariously bad, and the combat isn't great either, to be honest. Worse, for some reason they made the unforgivable decision to add unskippable voiceovers before loading into the game *and when you travel to a different region*. This gets extremely cumbersome in the late game when you might want to stop by different areas to do different things in quick succession. Also, for some reason the late-game voiceovers end with like fifteen seconds of silence where you're just staring at a static image -- probably some issues with localization. To top it off, they didn't even get a good voice actor for it! Anyway, yeah there are some bugs and some issues but it really didn't take much away from the experience for me.
Now that I've finished it, I feel like I've just finished an unforgettable book; I have that feeling of loss like I miss the characters and the world already. Maybe I'll come back and play it again at some point.
With that, here are some tipsters for people who decide to play:
- I played on 'Blood and Broken Bones' difficulty. This is the correct difficulty. Any easier and the game wouldn't push you to learn and use its unique mechanics. Any harder is probably, well, too hard for the admittedly simplistic combat system in this game.
- The game feels too hard in the beginning, average in the middle, then easy in the end. Idk why. In that beginning phase, take the time to learn the game mechanics, because they're weird. Use your oils. Brew your potions. Read the bestiary. Soon enough, you'll be cruising.
- Steel for men, silver for monsters, coin for your Witcher!
TLDR: Most people will already know about this game, but if somehow you don't, it is one of the best and most immersive games you could ever play.
Graphics look great with the next gen update, I first played this on Xbox One when it first game out, it looks even better now then it did back then. There's hundreds of hours worth of content to go through if you're not just aiming to blast straight through the main campaign and fast travel everywhere, and I would recommend you don't, just take your time and enjoy the game for what it is, as you'll never play anything quite like this (unless Witcher 4 is similar).
And Gwent! One of the most addictive side activities / card games I've ever seen in an RPG, gotta catch em all!
If you haven't played this game, you're seriously missing out.
How did you manage to mess the game up after all these years of it running perfectly? Never in my life has it crashed before. And this new launcher? For what? A singleplayer game?
Probably the best game I've ever played. I grinded the game when I first got it. Still a good game to run it back a different build. A+
Definitely a masterpiece and a must play for every RPG fan, specially if you love story intensive and player driven narratives.
The Witcher 3 delivers an immersive and stylish experience that is rivaled by very few. It is a masterclass RPG with engaging adventures around every corner that enables you to truly step into the shoes of Geralt, even if you lack the context of previous installments.
Firstly, I came to know about The Witcher 3 this year through a very close person to me since I generally tend to watch him stream from time to time whenever he played and let me tell you that we were both amazed by this game.❤
However... it was not until I purchased and played it for myself that I truly got to understand the beauty of it. Honestly, its a whole new experience to play it first-hand even having known most of the plot.
The story is definitely simple yet compelling as well as even the side quests (which you should not skip -and i don't think you will do such a thing !), allowing the player to get a feel of a satisfaction somewhat similar to putting together jigsaw puzzle pieces, along with the bigger picture; the end result which is based off many decisions made along the way.
I also could definitely not forget to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes. The open world exploration is massive and truly immersive, being able to investigate into this dark fantasy world 🌄🐺🌌 of the Witcher.
Lastly, I should mention that I did take a 3 month break due to not being in the mood (this is before I realized all of the points stated above properly as well) but I've returned and to my surprise, now I can definitely say that it's my favorite 💞 so in conclusion, please don't hesitate to play this game!
this is probably the second best fantasy game i've ever played. the graphics are good, the gameplay is just great, the characters, all of it. I could make a 500 word review about this game but im lazy so. the only cons i have with this game if you can call it like that, was the mechanics. if you're new at combat in games or you're used with simple controls, you're gonna have a bit of a struggle. But again. I was the same but i started to get used to it, so its a 10/10 for me.
I’ve played The Witcher 3 since the day it launched, across multiple accounts, and after all these years, it still stands as the best game I’ve ever played. From the captivating story to the vast, beautifully crafted open world, everything about this game feels like a masterpiece.
The characters are unforgettable, with Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri feeling like old friends at this point. The story is rich with emotion, tough choices, and surprises, and no matter how many times I replay it, the world of The Witcher always pulls me back in. Every corner of the map is filled with detail, side quests feel meaningful, and the soundtrack is a perfect fit for the atmosphere.
The combat is engaging, the exploration is rewarding, and the sheer depth of the game is unmatched. I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into it, and I still find new things to enjoy on every playthrough. If you haven’t played The Witcher 3 yet, you’re missing out on what is, in my opinion, the greatest game ever made. A true masterpiece that only gets better with time!
An absolute pleasure to dump hours upon hours into this title. This game takes the cake for being my absolute favorite. I just ordered the books. Couldn't be more excited to read them (;
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is nothing short of a landmark achievement in gaming, blending an expansive open world with deep storytelling and complex characters. Developed by CD Projekt Red, this game sets a new standard for RPGs, immersing players in a richly crafted universe filled with intrigue, danger, and moral ambiguity.
The world of The Witcher 3 is breathtakingly vast and meticulously detailed. From the sun-soaked fields of Velen to the snow-capped peaks of Skellige, every region feels alive and vibrant. Dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and a plethora of wildlife add layers of immersion, making exploration a joy. The attention to detail is astounding, with hidden treasures, quests, and lore tucked away in every nook and cranny, encouraging players to explore every inch of this beautifully rendered landscape.
The combat system is fluid and engaging, combining swordplay with magic (known as Signs) and alchemy. Players can customize their abilities, creating a playstyle that suits their preferences. The variety of enemies keeps combat fresh and challenging, encouraging players to adapt their strategies. Whether you’re slaying monsters, engaging in fierce battles, or navigating political intrigues, the gameplay is consistently rewarding.
The Witcher 3 is not just about the main story; it’s packed with a plethora of side quests, contracts, and activities that add depth to the experience. The two expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, are masterpieces in their own right, introducing new characters, storylines, and locations that rival the base game. Blood and Wine, in particular, is a perfect example of how to expand a game’s universe, providing closure and depth to Geralt’s journey.
Being the third and final installment of the Witcher series, this game is an epic conclusion to the adventures of the most popular witcher. As in the two first games, you play the witcher Geralt of Rivia, however, in Witcher 3 you have a great open world to explore in contrast to a closed area or linear map as in the predecessor games. The main story deals with the Wild Hunt and Geralt and associates searching for Ciri, who bears a crucially important power.
The sophisticated main story with its authentic main and side characters and diverse dialogue options is extremely well written and hooks you from the start. I have so thoroughly enjoyed it that I felt somewhat empty and even a bit sad when I finished it, as I knew there was most likely no other RPG being able to deliver something comparable to this marvelous adventure. Sometimes I wish I could forget the main story and play it all over again. Choices made during its course do not only determine the destiny of single characters, but also the future of whole empires. Next to the main quest, The Witcher 3 offers side quest plots that can be experienced before certain events during the main quest and that add a lot of immersion to the world. Most quests offer you different choices and give you the feeling that there is no absolute evil or good, but many shades of gray in an overall harsh world. In my opinion, the only subject that required more attention was the background story and motivation of the main antagonist.
The open world in which this RPG takes place is massive and filled with innumerable smaller side quests. Next to standard side quests, the witcher might also solve problems regarding monsters in special contracts to earn additional experience and funds. The developers have put in tons of effort to create and design as many diverse and interesting monsters as possible, which all have an entry in a bestiary and require a different strategy to be beaten by the witcher. For example, this means that you should brew certain potions to be able to effectively combat various monster types. Furthermore, you can enhance your witcher’s abilities by spending skill points on a diverse set of skills that can all improve your strength. These features increase the immersion of playing as a mutant human that the witcher actually is and thus increase the joy of playing as a true witcher. The very satisfactory feeling of character progression through the course of a playthrough is reinforced by finding and improving an armory set from a witcher school of your own choice. The cities and settlements and the people living in these feel quite vivid, however, you can sometimes notice that the open world and most of its inhabitants can often be more accurately described as a theatric scenery than a consistent and organic world that could also exist on its own. The open world felt quite bland and empty here and there, giving the impression that size mattered more than quality.
The two DLCs of the Witcher 3, Hearts of Stone (HoS) and Blood and Wine (BaW) are both absolutely worth it and actually handle my two main points of criticism quite well: the main antagonist and the open world. While HoS offers only little with regard to exploration of new areas, its story telling and main antagonist, who I would describe as the best written main antagonist up to this date, are the focus points of this expansion. BaW is an expansion that focuses on all strengths of this game and creates a more believable open world that is smaller, but more densely packed with quests and interesting characters. Basically, BaW is a better version of the main game just with smaller proportions. I highly recommend both DLCs to everyone who has played the main game.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is probably the best RPG of the 2010s and one of the best and most memorable RPGs of all time. Everyone who enjoys sophisticated story telling and an authentically written dark and ruthless world full of questionable human beings and dangerous monsters will wholeheartedly enjoy this game.
I finished the Witcher 3 game back in 2015, months after it's release.
Now, after more than 8 years of waiting and trying to forget most of the important parts of the game I finished it again. This time with both DLCs.
It is still breathtaking and manages to capture the player in it's amazingly rich story, great gameplay and just so many choices...
10/10 still recommending it to anyone :)
Wanted to play after ~2-3 years: despite 160+ hours in the past, game crashes at launch
It goes without saying that Witcher 3 is one of best games created ever. Now this is coming from someone who has played and finished Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 at the time of their release so I could expect what I was getting into.
I took quite a while starting this game as I delayed it till it next gen graphics update and I would say that it was worth the wait. This game has so much to deliver that it completely justifies its cost. Maybe over-justifies at as well.
The character development is simply amazing. The story progression is emotional and pure adventurous. And finally I get to see Yennefer in action as I was reading lore logs in the previous games mentioning her.
If you have played the previous games like me then you would have more context on some of the events of this game. But this is nothing to worry over, as the game was designed so that it would not alienate new players as it summarizes past events in the game logs for you.
I would highly recommend this game to any RPG lover. Its one of those games that you need to experience as a gamer.
10 years later and still obsesseddddd with the Witcher 3! In my top rpg's of all time. I love absolutely every minute detail that went into this masterpiece. Can't wait to play through again.
Started to play this in the end of 2024 and tbh its better then most of the games out there even tho it came out in 2015
also idk how but i got 21 hours of playtime in 2 days
relaxing Game To Play, With A Story Rich Story line To Enjoy, Would Recommend To Anyone Who Enjoys Games With A Puzzle and Problem Solveing
Unbelievable game. DLC's are worth the money. Mods are great. Storys delicious. Beautiful show as well.
8/10 Great game with a lot to do! It looks the best of the 3 games and plays the best though combat still doesn't feel how I would like it to. There can be invisible walls at times and after a shipwreck happens you may want to check to see if you can save or not otherwise you may find yourself losing a lot of progress (for myself I lost 30 minutes worth). I found myself not trusting the dotted line you follow for quests and trusting the yellowing indicator more. I had an interesting time with the Witcher games, so much so I went out and got all the books to do a comparison. Between the Netflix show, the books and the games I would say the games are the best form of Witcher entertainment. I did the main story in about 35 hours so the game has some length to it but isn't as long as some make it seem, worth checking out!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt transcends mere escapism; it offers a profound retreat into a solitude that feels like rediscovering clarity. There’s a certain wisdom in Geralt’s solitary wandering—a tacit acknowledgment that sometimes, solitude isn’t loneliness but liberation. In Geralt’s journey, we glimpse Cioran’s musings on the absurdity of existence, where life’s weight becomes bearable because it’s accepted, not resisted. The game doesn’t resolve the chaos of the world, nor does it offer easy answers—it revels in moral ambiguity and existential bleakness, making the escape all the more meaningful. Like Cioran, who saw despair as life’s backdrop, The Witcher 3 crafts an escapism that doesn't seek to deny reality but to confront it with detachment. Here, the solitude of the path sharpens focus, and clarity arises not from solving life's riddles, but from accepting that they never had answers in the first place.
10/10.
