South Park™: The Stick of Truth™

I like South Park, so naturally I like this. It feels a little rough around the edges, but altogether it's a good game. I'm unsure if there's any major issues with balance based on the class you play, but I'm assuming there isn't and each is about an equal experience. In that case, it's a little easy as long as you just use items optimally, and there isn't grinding.

Funny and also just fun to play. Lot's of stuff to do and always catches you off guard with jokes. Surprisingly fun to replay as well!

Finished both games. The first one two times. Doesn't get old. Love South Park, love the story. Laughing all the way through the game with every bit and piece of easter eggs and fresh jokes. 10/10

South Park The Stick of Truth is i think the best licensed game ever made. it is a love letter to classic era South Park with so many little call backs. the sequel, the Fractured but Whole, is more focused around later episode references the game basically drops you in the town town with the exact same art and animation as the show. you just get to explore the town and find all the little references to old episodes. if you love the show you will love the game. it feels like an extended interactive episode. it feels like an extension of the show rather than an adaptation of it. i also prefer the simple paper mario combat to the grid based tactical combat. technically the second game has better combat, but i have more fun with the first games combat. Stick of Truth is a true gem.

Classic South Park adventure that brings you along for the ride. The gameplay is smooth and not too complicated. You feel yourself invested to the characters and you just want to see where the story takes you. This is also one of those games where you want to collect achievements such as knowing everyone in the game because everyone is just so funny you want to hear it all. The actual gameplay is a mix of appeasement for those that are nerds, those who grew up playing video games and want a good experience, but also those who dont really play video games and just want a good time. i would 10/10 reccomend this game to any boy at any age despite it being rated r at some points. if you want a good laugh and dont get offended too easily, this game is for you

Awesome well made game. From gameplay to soundtrack, to quests. Leveling and getting equipment was fun.
BUT writing was sometimes meh and balancing was off - even if I played on hardcore difficulty there was only one challenging fight and even that was an optional one.

I would gladly recommend this game.

Great gags and fun gameplay, it feels like this game was made with input from the creators or at least true to the source material. Get the hasselhoff at the rhinoplasty place, its worth it.

I have literally no interest in the TV series whatsoever, but this game absolutely slaps. I wish they'd let Obsidian make a true sequel to this instead of the slow train wreck we've received from the two newer games.

south park stick of truth is a amazing game, it features good story, good jokes, fun combat and good level design.
i would recommend waiting for a sale, but this depends on how much money your willing to pay for 15 hours of gameplay.

dude its amazing, some of the jokes pass ya by if you havent caught up the episodes before and when the black friday episodes happened. very funny tho.

This has some good jokes, but it is very bizarre. The beginning feels like some kids playing a made up game, but it becomes a bit too much in my opinion.
Recommend this for people with a unpolitical or a bit of dark humor.

Really fun combat with plenty of weapon, cosmetic, and weapon modification options. If you love the show then you'll definitely love the game.

I love this game in every way. It's got the fanservice, it has more lore, it's like playing in and messing with the show itself. This is definitely worth it even after a decade later!

I watched every episode of the first 15 seasons at least 5 times. I stopped watching when they became really political. If you are like me and a fan of the original show this may be the last real episode we ever get to see. For me this game is a well deserved conclusion to the South Park I remember.

Before I played Stick of Truth, I moderately enjoyed South Park. I had watched a few episodes of the show and that was mostly it.

After playing through almost all of Stick of Truth, I can genuinely say it’s one of, if not, the BEST South Park experience you can get your hands on. The amount of love put into this game just oozes from its core, and it’s one of the funniest games i’ve ever played, period.

Definitely can recommend to any South Park fan new or old, it’s a great time.

This is the best game i've ever played based on TV show, it's absolutely hilarious and battles are truly fun to play.

This game will live up to its name and really offend the weak and touchy. You will die laughing at all the funny encounters, abilities and story telling. The game looks exactly like the series so in reality you are watching more episodes while you are playing. The combat is great with different character classes and items to equip. This is a must play for any South Park fan and will keep you busy for hours.

It's such a fun and funny game—it's like playing a season of the show. If you're a fan of South Park or Matt and Trey or want to sway someone to be a fan, then play this game. If you're not a fan of them, then the gameplay is fantastic independent of the source.

Withstanding the test of time; This game is still great, especially if you just want to relax and be able to save/start up whenever you have some free time.

Stick of Truth is straight-up just like an episode of South Park. How much you enjoy it will depend entirely on how much you enjoy the show.

The combat is kept simple to keep focus on the characters, story and humour. But it is engaging enough to justify itself. And all the attacks, items and moves are funny in that classic juvenile South Park way.

All in all, this game is way better than it had to be. Well worth a purchase and a weekend of gaming.

The best South Park game. Typical funny and dark South Park humor and fun story. This and The Fractured but Whole are both great games. Both don't take that long to complete and both don't have really any issues.
If you are interested in South Park games I recommend you play this and The Fractured but Whole, just whatever you do.. do not buy the South Park game "Snow Day!".. I promise you, that game is ass.

I'm nearly 40, and grew up on South Park. This is a silly RPG game, that is very worthwhile if you're familiar with the show. As long as you have reasonable expectations, this game isn't half bad.

The game play is really addicting and of course being a game about South Park, the game is hilarious and sticks to its crude but funny comedic ways, its also crammed with references!

Meh. It's an all right game for a comic RPG. It really looks like a South Park episode, but that's not hard to do. The gameplay is lacking though--battles are tedious button pushing, no strategy involved. Just turn-based whack the thing until it's dead. The only battle I had trouble with was an optional secret boss. I think this would have been a better episode than a game.

If you like South Park then this is a must play. It has some quite hilarious parts just like the show. I've played for 6 hours and have enjoyed every minute of it.

This is a great game for fans of South Park. However, there are several issues that I have with the game. The amount of items and things you can miss if you do not use a guide is crazy. It is frustrating to have to go back to someone to get the summon. Hoping the next installment fixes these complaints. Again, I do recommend, It has fun RPG elements. I found myself laughing out loud more than I can remember. 7/10

So far (8 hours in) it's great. Really funny and just like playing an episode of South Park. I assumed the actual gameplay would be a bit lacking and carried by the story and jokes, but I've actually found the game in depth and fun enough that it all goes together really well. That being said, if you don't like South Park you might not like the game, but if you do you're in for a treat.

The absolute best thing about this game is that, just like the show, it doesn't give a flying f* who or what it's going to offend. Generally I'm not a big fan of turn-based games but this one is an absolute gem. 10/10

It's an Obsidian game published by Ubisoft. It's mid, but also kind of fun. Wait for it to go on sale before buying it though.
