- Функциональность: каждый элемент выполняет свою функцию. Члены экипажа спят в кроватях, ходят в туалет, раздражаются, когда им мешает шум, и будут благодарны вам за установку игровых автоматов.
Вам предстоит создать настоящий действующий космический корабль своей мечты. Он может быть шедевром дизайна и аэродинамики или довольно странной и нелепой штуковиной - решение за вами! Симуляция газовой среды

Глубокая проработка персонажей

- Настроение: для полного счастья членам команды необходимы еда, сон, комфорт, безопасность и друзья. Если чего-то не хватает, их настроение начнёт ухудшаться.
- Условия: члены экипажа могут чувствовать тягу к приключениям, страдать от голода и проблем с гигиеной или просто переесть. Различные условия влияют на их самочувствие.
- Психологические проблемы: при сильном стрессе у члена экипажа может случиться нервный срыв. При этом кто-то может выйти в космос из шлюза, прекратив свои страдания, а кто-то - затеет драку.
Персонажи Space Haven - живые люди. Игра симулирует потребности, настроение, состояние здоровья и навыки членов экипажа, которые также по-разному выстраивают отношения друг с другом. Их прошлая жизнь и хобби влияют на навыки и умения. Они обладают как положительными, так и отрицательными чертами. Разделяйте радости и горести членов вашей команды на пути к новому дому.
Миссии
- Миссии: снаряжайте отряды из членов команды и отправляйте их исследовать покинутые корабли, а также посещать космические станции и суда других фракций.
- Управление: управляйте членами своей команды, чтобы атаковать врагов и защитить друзей.
- Инвентарь: у каждого персонажа есть свой уникальный инвентарь. Пополняйте свой арсенал пистолетами, ружьями, гранатами и прочим оружием!

Сражения между командами и инопланетяне
- Битвы: сражайтесь с вражескими фракциями или пришельцами.
- Инопланетяне: пришельцы могут обездвижить и захватить членов вашего экипажа. Вы можете организовать спасательную операцию или наблюдать за их страданиями в логове пришельцев - выбор за вами.
Пришельцы захватывают членов экипажа и помещают их в коконы, прикреплённые к стенам их базы. Вам решать: отправитесь ли вы на выручку пленникам или обречёте их на мучительные страдания в лапах инопланетян. Исследуя покинутые корабли, можно обнаружить захваченных в плен пришельцами членов экипажа. Битвы между кораблями
- Боевые посты: в битве с вражеским кораблём важно, чтобы каждый член команды исполнял свои обязанности на боевом посту. Ваш экипаж должен заряжать орудия, тушить возгорания после взрывов, заделывать пробоины в корпусе и ремонтировать ключевые системы судна прямо во время битвы.

- Генерация галактик: каждая игра происходит в случайно сгенерированной галактике с планетами, астероидами, станциями и кораблями других фракций.
- Фракции: взаимодействуйте с различными фракциями. Все они пытаются выжить и добиться власти, установив свои порядки. На вашем пути вы встретите пиратов, торговцев, работорговцев, религиозных фанатиков и других персонажей, с которыми вам предстоит выстроить определённые отношения.
- Ресурсы: добывайте сырьё и перерабатывайте его в материалы. Обменивайтесь ресурсами с другими персонажами, повстречавшимися на вашем пути.
Каждая новая игра проходит в уникальной галактике с различными фракциями, борющимися за выживание и власть своими собственными средствами. Вам повстречаются пираты, работорговцы, торговцы, религиозные фанатики, андроиды и другие персонажи. Погрузитесь в гиперпространство, ищите ресурсы и налаживайте отношения с разнообразными обитателями галактики.

Great game, lots to do. The Sims in space sort of? Personally, I was really sad that the ship design is so two dimensional however. I would have loved the ability to make multiple levels on my ships. I would also have liked a little more respect for gravitational forces and realism, but most of that is scifi-magiked away.
Good enough to get a rec from me, just not personally my taste I think.
As a software developer, I love designing and building software. And I absolutely love this game! It allows me to design and develop a ship, by coordinating my crew and exploring/salvaging, and finally to achieve a goal. This is a fun and engaging space exploration game, and would like to thank the developers for creating such a unique outlet for de-stressing after a long day! Thank you!
Great game, it does take a little time to get used to the mechanics but there are plenty of explanations to help you through. Bought this game a few years ago and yes it's still in EA but the developers are still actively working on it and it's fully playable as is.
Alright, the game is generally good. It's quite fun building a ship from scratch.
However, the devs need to do some serious balancing in the game. I keep running out of important resources, to the point where I might only get them by trading (granted when a spaceship with the resource comes) or if I happen to find the right mining fields. There are some things, like meat you can only unlock way later in the research and if none of the characters have enough skill, you'll still be struggling to get what you need until they build it up, which takes ages.
I'll only turn this game on again, after I see an update log where they say they've made serious balancing changes.
Space Haven is a decent game with a lot of potential. Although it can be fun to play, I cannot recommend it because it's been in alpha for several years and I don't see a path to a full and playable game for at least another several years at its current pace of development. The game is fun to start but playability declines quickly in the mid-game stage. I suppose it might be worth it if you can get it on sale for less than $10, but I'd rather not pay for games that stay in perpetual alpha.
Game scratches the survival base builder space aesthetic that my brain craves. 10/10 recommend.
I never got too far in FTL and never felt the balacing of Rimworld is fun for me, but Space Haven is a perfectly fitting causal, from time to time game sessions. And it is slowly getting to my top play hours games.
Really good game, managing your spaceship traveling space, managing your crew. All these updates, this game keeps getting better and better.
A wonderful game that continues to improve with each update.

god, I hate loving this game.
It is deeper than it looks at first. The random quests by the different factions vary from 'deliver cargo', over 'deliver prisoners' to 'clear that derelict ship' or 'take this box of supplies and build a mining station on an asteroid'...
You will get caught in the circle of, just that task and then I'll go to bed. Oh... what happened there? Why is there not enough water? Go and refine some. Oh and by the way, we could rearange the whole machine room.... Crap I need more Infrablocks.
If you like colony sims, you should definitely give it a try.
Excellent game. You already know you like it or you don't. There's no secret here, just an amazing game.
A interesting alternative to a lot of space games out there. I like it.
Space Haven for me was a colony Sim with surprising depth, but everytime you look to deep, the whole thing starts to come apart.
If you enjoy ressource management, building your own little fort (spaceship), some trial and error difficulty within a sandbox world... You will find, what you were looking for.
And for the money, especially on sale? I wholeheartedly recommend the purchase, if this sounds like fun to you.
If you're looking for a finished product though? The many little holes poking through a -so far- fun woven tapestry will most likely... bug you.
I really really want to like this game but the pawns are just so god dam stupid it ruins the entire game.
crew kills themselves in almost every game ive played via staying on derelict ships too long despite having a shuttle free
Pixel graphics, you fly using a star map, you run out of materials, end of game.
It's currently pretty basic, and I might check in on it again in a year or two. But there's a core issue here that creates a *lot* of friction for me: the camera.
1) Zooming in or out is a GIANT jump. It jumps from too far, to too close. The zoom needs to be a lot more incremental, for me at least.
2) You can't rotate the ship, nor can you switch to an overhead (or any other kind) of view. I can't see the hallways, I can't see where I'm placing items. I can't see if items are accessible. In order for me to find an isometric game playable, *especially* one where you build things, there either needs to be an overhead view available, or an 8-point-rotation available for the camera (4-point-rotation doesn't solve the 'bad angle' problem).
The rest of the game, such that I touched on in ~45min of play was... Fine. I can't comment on that as I made very little progress, as the terrible camera viewpoint made the game unplayable for me.
Quite polished for an early access title. 39 hours in and so far I've lost three times. Once my crew starved before I researched how to grow food. Second I took my entire crew to check on a derelict ship, they all wound up unconscious but thankfully the alien bugs ate them before they starved of oxygen. Third, pirates. Currently my crew is desperately salvaging a crashed ship for fuel and one of them is starting to complain of chest pains after running afoul of a space parasite. I'm sure it's nothing.
In space no one can hear you screw up.
This game is great! The developers clearly are very passionate about this game. I'm VERY excited for future updates.
Very nice game, it's what I wanted Spacebase DF-9 to become. Updates are a bit slow, but they are nice when they come. I wish I had something to spend all my resources on in the late game.
Great game. But it need more features. i played it longer. my friend got it on his laptop, so i played it for some 20 hours. point, that game more like sandbox. there not much story still and it can become boring, after you build your ship to max. its just need features, to save veterans :)
The interface is too clunky to recommend this game at this time. There are also a few annoying bugs. I couldn't recover one of my crew once. No one would pick him up and I couldn't manage to save him manually.
I'm also not sure if there is enough depth of gameplay for the long haul. Hopefully more will get added as well as refining a lot of the sharp edges on the interface.
I am really enjoying playing this game, and I love the direction it is going in. I like the twists and turns, and I feel like I am scratching the surface, and learning as I go. My ships are anything but pretty! I am looking forward to update 20 which will include more story, even though I think it's a solid fun game as it is.
I vote yes with 2 caveats:
1. They are so worried you are gonna have a bad time that they curate the opening of the game so you won't have a bad time ... but that means you have to build based on their build list. You can't build a ship without the components on their build list or they will do their best for you to have a bad time until you do. Experience and experimentation are not easy to pull off in early game.
2. You have to have an ore processing unit to mine any ore at all. I don't want to process it. I want to mine it and haul it. Let someone else process it. Even if that someone else is one of my own factory ships or a base.
If you can do unstructured play this is a good game for you as well. I am enjoying myself and the two caveats being the only thing that messes with my happy at the moment.
A great game to spend hours on! The developers are constantly improving the game, releasing updates and patches. Highly recommended!
Great Game if Rimworld and FTL had a baby. Looks and can be overwhelming at the start but after a couple of hours of trial and error (and it will be) it is actually quite simple I would look up most things the game isn't the best at explaining especially when beginning. Lot's of potential here 100% worth the buying price if you like these types of games
An amazing Pixel art graphics, space survival game. It has a streamlined tutorial for everything needed. Amazing options for your starter game difficulty and resources. Very very detailed and realistic crafting/ building system. Very user interface heavy, with the ability to "Take Control" (draft) individuals and move them as desired to tasks or other things. The requirements to stay alive and prosper are pretty realistic, and makes you think about really how much it takes to stay alive and healthy in space.
TIPS:
- Save regularly, (you WILL make a bad move, costing you crew or vessels.)
- Run through the tutorials, (takes from 30 mins to two hours, depending on your speed & retention.)
- You can explore space at will, dependent on your vessels capability and resources. So pace yourself, take small steps and resource everything as you go. You never know what secrets are buried in the scrap.
- Always slow down the time speed when in the "spacesuit" or your visit to a derelict ship might eat their air in seconds. (they do auto "suit up" when placed in the shuttle tho).
Have fun and be safe Spacefarers!
Remember you are not alone out there, it is just really spread out.
- Trade Colonies, Aliens, Drones, Death bots, and angry space Karens!
If you search hard, there are more crew where they came from....
If you're on the fence about this game, find something that's not in perpetual alpha.
Space Haven is almost worth a recommendation, but even by sims-like game standards your crewmates are very unbothered by existential threats. Crewmates on foot can patch "micro-breaches" quickly, but bizarrely enough, there doesn't seem to be a way to make builder pods drop whatever they're doing to repair bigger, more serious breaches. There is a very granular priority system on offer, but it wasn't enough to save my crew.
My other main problem is the tutorial prompts and scenarios could use some tweaks. The game will tell you to build at least two engines to make your first jump, but if you've been following the prompts as they come in without deviating, you're building something too massive for two engines to push without being over their mass rating. Fair enough for an experienced player, but while you're getting your bearings and managing the information overload the game presents you with it's easy to miss.
In this game, you are a giant space hypothalamus. You manage temperature, gas exchange, resource anabolism (building up your organs) and catabolism (breaking down and recycling them). You control pressure and architectonics of your blood vessel paths. You control the heartbeat. You set hormone-like incentives to your symbionts. You also, at times, issue imperative commands via the neural system interface.
It is chill and cozy. It is polished. It is deadly, if you overreach with the predatory behaviour of your great body. It is rewarding, as you evolve better and more sophisticated tissues and organs which all impose beautiful feedback loops and force further exploration, ingenuity and optimization.
It is also a spaceship colony simulator.
I bought this to play while traveling. I found the game to be unplayable on steam deck. Left joystick always went to the right. I haven't had this issue on any other game I play on my deck. Refunded.
It was interesting for the first few hours but by the third hour I realized that the game was unfinished. Also the idea behind micromanaging a starship seems fun at first but quickly becomes annoying and stressful. The UI needs to be simplified and they should let the player automate stuff. Like I dont want to have to move everyone to the inventory to pick up weapons. I should just be able to select what I want them to equip and they can automatically go to the inventory themselves and equip it. There is no joy in having to do that much micro managing. I did enjoy the graphics and watching them build the ship but everything else was not fun.
This little gem , great fun easy to get into with huge depth , not stopped playing since I bought it , most games lose my interest after afew hundred hours , not this badboy , im addicted and its great to have running in background when working like FM (which i do) , now im off to sell some pirates to the prison space port, then I might break them out for the hell of it

A game that allows you to build, research, have adventures and make stories. What I dig about Space Haven is that there is always an element of peril involved, its sort of a struggle early game and it about taking calculated risks. That's something I really enjoy, as it reflects the science fiction vibes that I grew up with: a crew getting themselves into a bad situation and somehow getting out of it. Those moments in the game where you somehow come back from a ship battle, or defeat a much larger crew, or manage to save stranded crew from a potentially dangerous boarding mission, those are just simply great moments.
The game can be grindy. Space can also be brutal- there's a load of derelict ships around. So I think if your ship makes it, then you are a success story. The game can have dark moments as well.
I adore the retro looking graphics, love the game soundtrack, and I also enjoy starting new adventures and playing the game in a different way. If you wish to moral and good play that way. If you wanna pirate, go pirate! If you wanna indulge in running space drugs and exotic meats, go for it. There's also enough ways to challenge yourself with building different kinds of ships, in different ways. I think limiting your runs, setting yourself some rules of play is a good thing.
The game still is in Alpha- don't let that put you off at all. It's an indie game with a small dev team that are still updating and working on the game. There is a roadmap etc. There is enough in the game to invest a lot of time in already. It's good.
I'm not sure if the game is a cosy space ship builder. There are things out there in space that want to mess you mess up. At its core is an element of surviving against the odds. However, the game is fully customisable, so I believe you can play on sandbox mode, add in what you need, when you need etc. (You can also adjust the amount of enemies, aliens and rouge bots via pre game settings.) But I'm not really the person to ask about this stuff- not how I wish to play. I live for the grind and enjoy the early game, seat of your pants struggle. Then once you've got past that stage, go and take on your enemies!
Enjoyed the flamethrowers, contraband and space drugs from the last update. Looking forwards to the new update!
Imagine if the Nintendo 64 had a space ship sim ... this is it. Retro-Clunky ... meaning not smooth in some key areas (drafting people over and over again with out the ability to set a "boarding party" group is annoying when going over to another ship for supplies).
Having said that ... this game is awesome. Difficult survival at times ... you will lose crew members to aliens, robots, face huggers, spores, lack of oxygen or food or water, the occasional fire in the engine room, and the like. Balancing your crews strengths to the ships needs is a must, as is leveling up their skills. Also, you need to grow your own meat in a hydroponics bed as soon as possible.
A fun challenge with a retro style !
Great space exploration / Survival game. This game has a small team of dedicated members and updates are slow adjacent but well worth the wait as each one add quite a bit to the game. The game itself is fully playable as is, and if you are a fan of base building games, likely you will find some joy in this one as well.
This game is a boring crap and....
It's been almost 8 years since Battlevoid: Sector Siege, a truly unique franchise.
You would have a winner if you put as much effort in Battlevoid as you do in this one. Avoid(?) crippling the gameplay, constant changes and not increase the game.
And try to move to 3D. It is the 21 centtury, not 1980's.
It is actually a great game, all of it is such a good combination of building a great ship, helping others in need, build your own space station survive.
The reason why i give it a thumbs down is, The game is unbalanced, in the end you will Always run out of either building materials, water or food.... making you dependant on other npc ships of their inventory which also in the end run out too so there's nothing else to do but to start over and leave your prestige empire that you've built.
I have tried building over double of the required amount in order to thrive in a spaceship... Impossible! .
Every time i had to delete my save and start a new one because of this.

Space Haven is a great example of what all game companies should be.
The developers of this game actively listen to its fan base and prioritize making the game user friendly and functional.
I love the concept of the game too and with recent news and updates showing the path the games devs will take is very exciting.
Worth what I paid for sure, and when it’s done I’d see no problem with asking for more.

If you've ever dreamt of building a spaceship, managing a crew, and barely avoiding the sweet release of the vacuum of space, Space Haven is the game for you. It's like The Sims but with more duct tape, oxygen alarms, and your crewmates' questionable survival instincts.
You start with a tiny spaceship that looks like a toaster with attitude. As you piece it together with hull blocks and dreams, your crew simultaneously builds relationships and grudges over who forgot to restock the oxygen generator. It's an oddly intimate journey watching your crew bond over daily space drudgery... until they're forced to fight space pirates or fend off alien blobs that apparently skipped the memo about social distancing.
The gameplay is a delightful mix of micromanagement and existential dread. Your crew needs food, sleep, and constant reassurance that their impending doom isn’t entirely your fault. Pro tip: forget to build enough toilets, and you'll witness a mutiny of truly... crappy proportions.
The graphics are charmingly retro, the soundtrack is surprisingly zen, and the story you craft feels personal—like when your top engineer gets food poisoning again because someone decided that an alien egg salad was a good idea.
Overall, Space Haven is a weirdly addictive game that makes you question your leadership skills, your patience, and why you thought a "spaceship cat shelter" was a viable design plan. A must-play for fans of chaos, creativity, and watching pixelated people live out their worst lives in your care.

Very slow deveploment, you barely get any news
Years of development and it still feels like an incomplete game. I bought it early on and had high hopes but clearly it's going nowhere. Don't buy games based on promised features, buy it based on what's actually there. As an aside, I'm doing a purge of "early access" games I've bought over the years that never leave that alpha/beta phase.
Each update makes this game more and more worth it.
An amazing game with regular updates
i think this is a very good game. the combat is like a tactical rpg while the rest of the game is like sandbox/sims elements. only wish we could build upwards or downwards to expand the ship even more.
