Frostpunk — это новая игра от создателей This War of Mine.
Поддерживаемые языки: english, french, german, spanish - spain, polish, russian, simplified chinese, portuguese - brazil, turkish, italian, japanese, korean

A rather rigid and difficult, yet addictive resource management game with great atmosphere.

An absolutely amazing experience that really immerses you into its world. Can 100% recommend!
This game become unplayable after building a device known as the Beacon. 11bit has been made aware of this fact for over a year at the time of this comment. On every single post they leave the same statement encouraging people to use troubleshooting methods that do not work. While it is a wonderful game before this point in the plot, there seems to be no plan to fix the game by 11bit and it sounds as if Frostpunk 2 is the operates with the same quality. I would recommend purchasing something else until 11bit delivers on a stable version of this game.
I enjoyed 51 hours of this game, but out of nowhere, this game just stopped launching. I click Play, it appears to start loading, but then the blue "stop" button goes back to the green "play" button again. I have verified the game files, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, uninstalled/reinstalled Steam, reinstalled/updated all my drivers, reinstalled/repaired all Microsoft C++ Redistributables, restarted my PC, made sure no peripherals were plugged in, and repeated these processes multiple times, and this is still the only game in my entire roster that simply will not launch, for seemingly no reason. Nothing new has been installed since the last time it was run. I've Googled the issue to bajeesus and back, tried everything I could find that worked for everyone else, and still nothing. The only thing I haven't done is reformat my entire PC (which I will not be doing, since there is no evidence to support that will fix the issue).
I guess my Frostpunk days are just over...
I like alot about this game but god damn it is hard. The game basically just boils down to trial and error with very little breathing room. The game is less of a city builder and more of a puzzle game not in a good way. I love the music, atmosphere, animations, and story. like it is all good. But this game is just so damn frustrating to play. This game is brutal. I dont know how many times ive ran through all the scenarios just to restart.
FP is amazing strategy game with survival, and tough moral choices in a frozen post-apocalyptic world. The design create a great atmosphere. This game’s difficulty demands meticulous resource management and presents thought-provoking decisions with far-reaching consequences and you can lose very easy.
Though challenging, the satisfaction of leading your city through crises makes it incredibly rewarding. Frostpunk is a must-play for strategy enthusiasts seeking depth, challenge, and emotional impact.
This game is great. It’s very difficult to me, but also very rewarding. The graphics and music are pleasant and relaxing.
This is a puzzle game that hates you and won't help you. The community is toxic and hates you too.
This game really hard for me but not too hard Is alright to fail first few run (Or is just my skill issue)
I am not good at city builders or real time strategy, so this one sat in my Steam library for quite a while before I decided to pick it up. This game to me is stressful but in a good way; you really do feel the tension and hopelessness that your citizens often do. Learning from my past mistakes and failed saves was my best friend. Fantastic game with an incredible art style and game systems.
Nice concept but frustratingly hard.
So, I had heard of this game before playing it but I had never looked it up or seen anything about it. I knew it was a colony sim/strategy game of some sort but I knew very little else. I recommend approaching the game this way, if you can, because it is a ROLLER COASTER to go into blind. First and foremost, even on easier difficulties, this game is very thoroughly and punishingly challenging unless you know what you're doing, which I did not know nor was I prepared for, but I love the game regardless. It's one of those games you have to fail repeatedly to get better and experiment with the mechanics to optimize and plan-out the game. The only word of caution: The setting, story, and basis are BLEAK and depressing, at times, so if you're not prepared for survival against all odds in a world that wants you to struggle, you might not be ready for this game. Otherwise, I strongly recommend it, remember to adjust the difficulty if it's your first time, I know I needed to.
unplayable on big screen with gamepad.
text is way too small
This game takes the survival genre to a great level.
I made children work in the mines, then created propaganda to gaslight everyone. Solid game.
A true monument of a game. Choices actually matter and end up making you question your own morality.
Amazing city building mechanics, amazing story, amazing soundtrack.
10/10
Forgot to save and lost around 4 hours of progress because I royally messed up and got banished by my people. Kind of heartbreaking but I do love games that make you face the consequences of your own actions and don’t hold your hand as if you’re staring at a screen for the first time in your life.
My house is also absolutely freezing right now so I’m getting a lovely extra layer of immersion for free. However, I’m thankfully nowhere near -70°C. No idea how my city manages to stay this hopeful. Pretty sure I’d just go to sleep.. permanently.
I thought this game was great.
I played through it without hesitation and I enjoyed every bit of it, even the failures.
I can't believe the 2nd one moved away from this formula.
Either way, easy 8/10.
At first I thout it was just nice, but it's growing on me and I'm starting to find more interest in it. it's hard, and it's getting harder.
One of the best games I've ever played. I love the idea of city builder and survival games, but usually I lose interest after a while because they start feeling monotonous and aimless. Not with Frostpunk. The scenarios keep pressure on and give external goals to work towards, and since each one is a self-contained story the game ends before it can start to drag. Each scenario uses the same mechanics but in different ways with different goals, so they all feel fresh, and I enjoyed replaying to try different approaches.
The mechanics are really well balanced and well thought out. Game gives you enough info to figure things out on your own without too much hand-holding. I especially like the way it forces the player to confront moral and practical choices with much more nuance than I expected - there are few clear "right vs wrong" decisions, and everything has consequences. I appreciated having to balance not only the physical resources of my colony, but also the hope and discontent of the people in it.
Pros: challenging resource management/survival, flexible approaches and strategies, interesting scenarios, gritty steampunk vibe without getting too grimdark, tough moral choices with nuanced consequences, good replay value, excellent music
Cons: some scripted events feel a bit random and can spoil achievements, even though you can view individual colonists there's no way to control them as individuals (i.e. assigning specific work tasks, sending someone to medical treatment, etc)
Amazing. A city builder where the weather is a boss battle. Pay attention to adapt and grow.
Awesome game, visually very original, appealing and sometimes pretty confronting story-line, heartbreaking one moment , euphoric the next. Sounds are amazing and making the experience more engaging, the ice sound effect even sound cold.. hows that possible :)
for me this is very unique for a strategic game, makes me play more and try to fine different outcomes and check different scenarios.
I had to restart the game twice... and tried different approach each time. Aggressive once, balanced the other time... and finally just trying to catch up with the issues. When you think you have fixed one thing, something completely unexpected comes up (-60 degrees and no way to heat). There is no difficulty setting either so everyone has to play in hard more (because this game is hard). Graphically its beautiful but I don't play games that stress me out. So deleted after 5h.
game is only ok. I recommend but get on sale. I didn't dump a lot of time into it, didn't grab me.
this game explores the uncomfortable choice of just how far humanity will go for the sake of survival. but it's okay because I would never abuse my political power and can be trusted with emergency powers haha
It is difficult but ina good way and has no real good or bad option and actual benifits when you do something imoral.
Great RTS/City management sim. Its difficult, but has toggles for that if its too much to start out with
I’ve had Frostpunk sitting in my library since its launch back in 2018, but for one reason or another, I kept putting it off. From the moment I first saw it, the game’s aesthetic and premise intrigued me, but I never took the plunge—even when Frostpunk 2 was announced. Recently, I decided to dedicate a few hours to finally diving into the frozen wasteland. Little did I know, those hours would turn into a gripping, unforgettable experience.
From the start, Frostpunk hooked me. Every decision felt like a matter of life or death, and I quickly lost count of the times I nervously questioned if I’d make it through another in-game day. Balancing the needs of my people, managing their discontent, and keeping their hope alive was a constant challenge. My first playthrough came down to the wire—discontent had skyrocketed, and I was on the brink of being ousted as leader during the final hours of the Storm. Yet, against all odds, I survived. That moment of triumph was exhilarating, and I realized just how masterfully the game captures the tension and stakes of leadership under pressure.
Frostpunk is more than just a survival city-builder; it’s a profound test of your leadership, decision-making, resource management, and moral instincts. Every choice you make carries weight, leaving you to grapple with the consequences. Time and again, I found myself questioning whether I had made the right call. Was it worth sacrificing one group’s well-being for the survival of the many? The moral dilemmas are striking, forcing you to confront what you’d do in a real-life crisis (not that we’re likely to face an apocalyptic winter anytime soon).
For anyone on the fence about picking up Frostpunk, let me assure you—this game is absolutely worth it. It’s not just a game; it’s an experience that challenges you to think, adapt, and reflect. If you’re eyeing it from the sidelines, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret this purchase.
This isn't the first time I've been frustrated with a game of the gloomcore genre, but I figured I'd give it a shot as a lifelong fanatic of citybuilders and RTS. Frostpunk offers a lot of familiar concepts-- an intriguing tech tree, for example, or different strategic approaches to managing your setltement. The ability to not just explore but also expand is enjoyable and gives opportunities to define your settlement through different avenues. It gives the hint-- though not guarantee- that there are some greater mysteries to unpack later in the game, fancier technologies, or some sort of fun backstory, I don't know.
But where the game falls short is that it's just ridiculously hard to the point that it's just not fun. You face constant resource shortages, and while these are tenable for short periods of time, success is all relative, because there's not only a functional limit to what you can stockpile, there's just this constant crisis of being assaulted by the cold, by starvation, by your dissidents, by running out of coal. It's also possible to box yourself into a corner where it's impossible to build a new resource extraction solution because you can't get to new resources. It's only avoidable by planning ridiculously long in advance, which-- again- is fine, but all good things must come to an end, including me spending my time with this game. There is this pervasive idea that the player perceives that nothing matters because you're just inevitably going to freeze to death and even on the easiest settings in freeplay, it seems impossible to get past this.

Great story, awesome artwork, fantastic game play with an awesome final.
Loved it. The storm was terrifying and balancing the public opinion was interesting.
Did end up getting exiled into the frozen wasteland a couple times for being a terrible leader and I think the world would be a better place if we did that irl.
I'm pretty big on city builder games. Not full civilization type games, just city builders. specifically with some kind of unique "end of world" scenario. Talking too much about the mechanics of this game will spoil some of the content, so I won't go to much into that. What I will say, is that research is important, and if your not actively researching something at any point in the game, you are gonna have a rough time. The music is great, the story is great, the mechanics are great. Get into it and have fun :)
It's a very decent game with clever mechanics. One thing I don't really appreciate about it, however, is the fact that there's a great deal of content that you can't access unless you have seasonal pass? Why there's a seasonal pass on a single player game, I simply can't understand but I quite enjoyed it. 3.8/5 stars
I absolutely love this game! combining building, strategy and survival it balances it perfectly. Just don't expect to be happy with your endings. It's not about how many times you fall down but how many times you stand up again!
It's like a farming simulator. But instead of roots and crops and animals, you build buildings for gathering the wood, steel, coal, raw food and food ration. Every scenario, I always fail atleast 2 times to understand what I really needed to prioritize. That's only at medium difficulty. Some choices really do make things easier at the cost of comfort, or even someone's life.
Original atmosphere and gameplay but not my cup of tea. I'd still recommend since it is relatively cheap and i love the steampunk genre but not a fan of strategy games.
i bought this cause it looks pretty on the screen, played till i turned on the big generator thing and that is all.
6/10
no other city builder like this one on my first play through my overdrive meter got super high and i had to send a kid into the giant ass furnace to save the city after wards i saw a message saying that the parent killed themselves and that hit me like a truck frost punk does a great job at holding you accountable for every thing this game made me ask why to every little thing 10/10 would play every day
It's a fun builder game with a different vibe to many others. Fair warning: it has a steep learning curve and not for the easily frustrated.
Its one of the finest survival management game.Atmosphere created by game is absolute great. Choice and moral implications make it more gripping. Must play who likes management/strategy games.
This game is really a mixed bag. On one hand, it is very atmospheric and built on an interesting concept. However, the places where the game shines doesn't really make up for where the places the game sucks. And in some areas it reeeeeally sucks. I've beaten two scenarios on the game, (there's probably around 6 or so, but don't feel like launching to check), so I haven't yet finished the game. But there is a really annoying trend that I am already starting to notice.
The game does one of the most unforgivable things that a game can do; it takes away player agency. Both scenarios that I've played have to be managed in a very certain way, or despite you finishing the campaign, you are lambasted during the final slideshow telling you that you suck and your city didn't survive.
Why? If I made it to the end of the campaign, my city is fully automated, and I am increasing my storage of each resource each day, then what's the deal? Why is it that despite my coal supply being fully automated and increasing my storage by approx 1500~ each day, that I still lose because at the end of the campaign I had 7400 instead of 8000 coal?
You could just extend the campaign and make the final week extremely difficult if you don't have a certain amount. But the game doesn't take that route; instead, the campaign abruptly ends, and then you are told in a really cringe slideshow that your city perished because you didn't do enough.
Lol? It honestly just makes me want to put the game down and play something else, which is what I did after I played the first campaign, and what I will probably do after this one. And maybe I'll someday come back to play the next.
I got this on a huge sale (something like -90%?) while frostpunk 2 was coming out, and sadly I wouldn't recommend it for much more than that.
Just a fun game - can be a little stressful and I know I failed several times for my first attempts.
I hate the cold, but I love watching people suffer. 10/10 Getting banished is the goal.

Review
Frostpunk is a game I didn’t think I would get into as much as I did, but as the product balances an easily understood system with harsh countermeasures; it is an unforgiving ordeal that is quick to pick up. I put in 6 hours the first day of play, and that is not something to scoff at as I nowadays more often than not give games 30 minutes before treading back to mind numbing repetition of already played titles. Frostpunk did something with me that I have not experienced since I was a kid. That feeling of obsession. That ungainly nerdiness that deletes time and space. I was supposed to go to work in the morning but there I was transfixed by this strange thrill of city building? This is not a pool of genre I often dip my toes in, yet there is an uncanny familiarity. A long gone time of flash games, turn-based fantasy and civ/sim games. Frostpunk is more than a city builder, it is a challenge.
Not only a challenge in difficulty, but a grandiose challenge of humanity contra practicality, complete with all the bells and whistles to subvert you from seeing its inner workings. A puzzle game with more pieces than the puzzle needs to be finished. But all the while I have always thought of puzzles as a bore so how is it possible that I could sink so many hours into it, with a thirst for more. The theming and story got me hook, line and sinker.
You operate as the leader of a newly founded city in the dystopian icy ridges of a late 19th century Britain, where steam and coal power is key and your people (work force) clamor in famine and frostbite. It is an unforgiving setting where every speck of snow and your frosted up vignette instill a sense of respect and fear. There will be death, there will be uprising and in between the meticulous city building and resource management there will be mystery and exploration, politicking spliced with monotheism, fascism and class war. The world of Frostpunk is a grim canvas of the helpless state of humanity and the implosion of the environment. Will this new world order even have room for humankind or will the ice age erase our memory and subtract our very culture. The nightmarish setting choice of a victorian apocalypse has never been this good.
The crux of the game is at its core rapid expansion of the circular city and resource gain, paired with story beats that will help you or sap you (most likely absolutely obliterate you). You will have to balance the hope and discontent of the citizens while keeping a watchful eye on the heat level. Sickness and death will plague you while you scavenge for food and coal, making you wary of overworking but frantic for stockpiling. There are several scenarios to choose from in the main menu with an applicable difficulty setting. Although the main campaign is the one with the biggest scope and hoorah, the others serve their purpose quite well with some exciting curveballs and variation, but they will never come close to the initial playthrough of the mainline. That is an experience to be had!
As you open the game you are at once greeted by a beautiful soundtrack that wholly encapsulates the tragedy of man that is about to play out before you. The devastating frugal violin and subtle horror glissandos that is soon joined by an aristocratic quartet. The industrial stoicism that progress the track with staccato, brass and urgency. In no other soundtrack have I found such a diegetic delivery that tells you of the world while coinciding with it. It tells you of nationalism, technological advancements, the environmental collapse, power play, melancholy yet industriousness, time and setting. It tells you what beauty is and what trepidation that lies within it, but most importantly it tells you that the city MUST NOT FALL… and it chills you to the bone as if the northern wind has taken a hold of your room. At least Frostpunk has taken a hold of me.
9/10
Doesn't take too long to get good at the game if you learn the stats and do the math. Great challenge nonetheless
Played endless mode. Built an amazing city. Had over 130k coal and 10k of all other resources. City still looses hope every storm. Hit the building limit. Replaced buildings with town squares. Crashed the game.
I think I win
