Remastered with enhanced graphics, Steelport the original city of sin, has never looked so good as it drowns in sex, drugs and guns.

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobblehead dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute.

Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and fight against a highly-trained military force by your lonesome in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen.

Unfortunately, Saints Row: The Third Remastered doesn't quite live up to its name. While it promises updated visuals and improvements, the end result often feels like a step backward. The character models in particular have taken a major hit—they look waxy, overly glossy, and at times even awkward compared to the original’s more stylized look. Instead of enhancing the charm, the visual updates seem to strip it away.
The disappointing part is that the game doesn’t actually look significantly better. In some cases, the lighting and texture changes make environments feel flatter or overly filtered, and there’s an odd disconnect between old-school animations and the new visual style. It’s not unplayable by any means, but for a remaster, it doesn’t bring enough to the table to justify a return for veterans or a first-time experience for newcomers.
If you're looking to relive the chaotic glory of Saints Row: The Third, the original version honestly delivers a more cohesive and enjoyable package. The remaster feels like a missed opportunity—polished on the surface, but lacking the visual soul that made the original so iconic.
My friend made me buy this... One of the worst decision of my life.
The game is janky and has a lot of bugs but the chaos is unmatched. I've bought this game and the base game for every console I own and played it many times over
They took the original + smeared it with graphics (not bad (character redesign is controversial)) + we added a million bugs over and above those that were there = the remaster is ready. If you want to complete Saints Row 3, play the original
I mean the game is still a lot of fun and i cant say that i didnt have fun whilst playing it. However, it also comes littered with so many bugs and glitches and game breaking scenarios. There was a time where I played it for 3+ hours and the game dropped by 90+ fps to make it borderline unplayable. The game is still fun and honestly I didn't mind some of the goofy parts and plot points and if it's cheap I definetly reccomend it however the base game would look equally as good and be less glitchy

very good yes yes
New York styled Pizza:
Pizza dough:
14 g instant yeast
617g water - 95F
950g all-purpose flour
19g fine sea salt
25g granulated sugar
American Pizza Sauce and Toppings:
1 tablespoon (14g) butter
1 tablespoon (9g) extra virgin olive oil
6 cloves garlic, rough chopped
2 teaspoons (4g) red pepper flakes
28 oz (794g) can of crushed tomato
2 teaspoons (2g) dried oregano
1.5 tablespoons (21g) granulated sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Splash of olive oil
2 cups (227g) low moisture mozzarella, fresh grated
2 cups (200g) Monterey jack cheese, fresh grated
1/2 cup (26g) parmigiano reggiano, fresh grated
American Pizza Dough:
Preheat the oven and a baking steel or pizza stone at 500F for 45 minutes before utilizing it.
Whisk yeast and sugar into your water, and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. In a separate bowl, add flour and salt and mix by hand to combine. Pour your water mixture into your flour and mix by hand until you get a rough dough, then transfer to a work surface and knead until it starts to pull away from the work surface and is relatively smooth.
Place your dough in a greased bowl, then cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 - 2 hours at room temperature or until double in size.
Punch down your dough and dive into 300g pieces. Form those pieces into balls and place them in a floured proofing pizza box, cover with a lid, and proof at room temperature for 3 - 4 hours. (If you do not have a proofing pizza box, you can use a floured baking sheet, cover it with an inverted baking sheet and wrap it in plastic wrap.)
American Pizza Sauce and Toppings:
In a medium sauce pot, add butter and olive oil. Set that over medium-high heat; once the butter melts add garlic, cook until fragrant, add pepper flakes, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the garlic begins to brown on the edges.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and a splotch of olive oil, boil over medium-high, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally or until thickened and viscous—season with salt to taste and let it cool down.
Assembly.- Place one of your pizza doughs onto a floured pizza peel, and flour your dough generously.
Punch your dough down in the center, working your way out to create a ¼” wide. Pick up your dough, place it over your closed fists, and rotate it around, gently stretching to 13” to 14”.
Place a couple of spoons of your sauce, starting in the center, spreading in little circles, and working your way to the edge until it gets evenly spread out.
In a medium-size mixing bowl, place mozzarella cheese, Monterey Jack, and Parmigiano; mix until combined. Sprinkle your cheese mixture to your desire and place in the oven onto your baking steel and bake for 5 - 7 minutes or until the edge gets golden brown and the cheese melts.
Enjoy.
My favorite Saints Row game
As a person who has put numerous hours into this game on the 360 and on pirated copies, I have to say this is one of the better saints row games ranking just under 2 and 1, they turned an already golden game into something out of this world. There is so much replay value here
I miss you my old friend.
It's okay, but honestly just get the original.
Pros:
• It's an video game.
• It successfully opens and gameplay occurs.
• Voice acting isn't as terrible as it could've been.
• It was pretty cheap on sale.
• The tank is fun.
Cons:
• It is buggy as hell. There were at least 5 occasions throughout my playthrough where mission critical NPCs get stuck on the terrain and I either had to restart the mission to progress or shoot them until they happen to stumble back on track.
• Car handling is awful
• The person who mapped the keyboard controls for the helicopter has 6 fingers on their left hand.
• Gunplay is flat and boring.
• Melee combat is weightless and boring.
• Some sound effects just don't work.
• I'm not entirely sure if the story was supposed to be good or funny, or neither, or both? I just finished the game and I can not remember anything that happened or a single character's name (I think one of them was named Pierce? maybe?).
• Half of the optional activities are excruciatingly boring (the fraud one especially). You can tell they knew this because you can pay in-game money to skip them.
4/10, play Just Cause 3 instead.
buy this over the original. it has all the dlc except the ones that make the game worse. (bloodsucker and unlockable pack)
Personally my favorite Saints Row game ever
What GTA wishes it was.
fun
I mean, why not? Its a chill game, doesn't need much thinking over
Played mostly on the Steam Deck and had no issues other than FPS drops here and there due to the weak hardware, but other than the weird character models, the game was equally as fun as the original, with less bugs.
Achievement hunting was easier this time around due to it not having the Multiplayer ones that the original had.
The nostalgia >>
Feels as good as the XBOX 360
Imagine GTA and Rick n Morty had a baby, this is what would come out
So I was REALLY down on this remaster when it first released. SR3 was never my favorite SR game to begin with, I prefer SR2, even now I still do.... BUT things have changed.
Reinstalling this for the first time since I bought it, I can attest to the graphical fidelity looking really good, not to mention running without any crashes / bugs / etc. They clearly put in the work to make this remaster playable since it launched. And more importantly, coming back after so long, you forget how much of the actual SR experience IS HERE. The writing team DID understand the basic task of badass gang warfare, larger than life villains, really wacky set-pieces and weird guns / outfits / vehicles.
If you didn't like SR3 before, I honestly believe you should try it again. Try the SR3 remaster. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was.
Still as fun as it was on Xbox 360. Only criticism I have is the dull, lifeless, facial express most characters have now compared to the original release.
Played after Saints Row 4, and Saints Row 2022. Worst decision. Horrible game, worst AI i ever seen, every car on the street hits you and blocks you. From 3 stars notoriety they spawn and find you everywhere. Dull radio, boring missions. 2/10
I don't help Steam or Dev's sell their products. If I get the game for free then I would fill this out properly...
This game was good on ps3 pc no good co-op very bad 38 hours of glitches no beuno
better than the normal and 4
High testosterone gaming
the game surpassed my superior expectations when I bought it, I was hoping to get a decent main campaign and I got even a funnier and entertaining one, everything that happens on a mission is as unpredictable as it could be and that makes every mission more fun than the previous one, the remastered graphics are amazing compared to the classic version of this game and on top of all that the game has an unique sense of humor that I love it. 100% recommend it if you want to have fun on your free time :D
Good:
-Graphics look better
Bad:
- car sounds do not work properly unless you go through some bs in nvidia panel (AMD cards just have to accept no car sounds).
- somehow npcs are worse in this version compared to original (honorable mentions: shaundy during "live with killbane", kenzie during "guardian angel" and most of all pierce shooting the truck I only needed to shoot the tires from making it blow up 3 times).
- Driving, shooting not optimized.
- Cutscenes lagging due to fps cap.
- new character models.
- No QoL additions (some stronggholds still have no garage, stupid beginning section where you go through all minigames before being able to actually play the game is still non-optional).
Honestly just buy the original
incredibly fun co op with friends
tried to return this garbage but i played like a minute too long. game breaking glitches through out. so pissed its this bad
1: gameplay feels meh... im getting run over by the zombies like im the im bowling pin and they are the bowling ball... ragdolling up to the air... a totally realistic gang warfare simulator... like... why did you even have the need to put this in the story?
2: lack of real character development... no phone calls after passing missions... you cannot hang out with them like friends in GTA 4... some pre-rendered cutscenes feel a bit off... like they were randomly put up there and forced to talk... because of the "awesome looking characters" psychological factor... did i also the mention the badly positioned camera angles?
3: side-actitivies only feel unique just to play this once... and never again... i don't wanna replay it all over... poorly designed concept if i do say so myself...
4: singleplayer campaign missions feels like it's got the "homemade" kind of quality by the community... not by AAA real game developers who use their own talent to put out amazing things for everyone to see...
5: originally envisioned as a very serious game... as you can see on the video game cover and the teaser trailer for it... turns out it was a huge lie to begin with...
Want to know the reality? Stick with GTA series by "Rockstar Games" instead... it has almost everything you need so far...
This is a perfect game to understand why old games were good, It doesnt feel serious in a way, missions are actually fun, the graphics arent amazing but it gives a vibe and doesnt look bloated
fun game
better than the new saints row will allways be the og of the saints row franchise
My current pc takes one look at top system requirements and cocks a leg to pee on it. can handle them twice over easily.
game loads fast, just like original. even auto detecting in-game chooses top settings. and yet....
saints row 3 hit start new game, play starts within seconds.
saints row 4 hit start new game, play starts within seconds
saints row gat out of hell hit start new game, play starts within seconds
saints row 3 remastered hit start new game and sit watching new pretty images of characters you will never see in game as that is all it does. 15 minutes of pretty images and several retries on lower-lowest settings and still nothing happens beyond a new slideshow. loading...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................is not worth any purchase price
Game won't work with xbox one controller. This is really basic, minimum expectations here. Don't bother.
most people say this game is bad but its super fun imo, def worth my money lol
Honestly a pretty mid re-master:
The good:
- Generally prettier
- Tire tread options feel like they actually change the wheels a lot more
- Almost all of the DLC built in
The bad:
- New car models are higher quality but much less original, feels like they just ripped some models from GTA
- Some vehicle variants seem to be missing entierly
- Overuse of TAA (the worst type of anti-aliasing) makes the game look like it has fairly significant and indiscriminate depth of field turned on even when DoF is turned off.
- NPCs were updated but the player model was not making it look out of place (seriously just subdivide the mesh so the morphers come out smoother)
- Certain scripted sections where you're supposed to have renewable sources of ammo just have a single pickup making them much harder if you didn't grind out upgrades beforehand.
Despite the sound effect bugs the game is pretty good, funny ass story with many crazy missions which some of them might be repetetive for some people but not really for me. As someone who gives a lot of effort into characters I made (like I do with my Sims in The Sims 4) I wish there were more outfit options. Same with vehicles, I wish there were more customization options. Another complaint is that there is no fast travel It would make going from location to location easier.
Its better on the console version and runs really smooth (At least for me). If you were a fan of the series or the original game you should try to get this.
Still the best Saints Row game.
Game be gaming
There seems to be a bit of polarization on where the Saints Row series went with the introduction of this game. Fans of the first two games seem to not like the direction of the franchise that this game took it in.
Personally, I played very little of the first two games - I just couldn't get into them. Something about them felt, well, crappy. Unfinished. Unpolished maybe. I could see what the devs were going for, but I just think they failed to achieve it.
So, in comes Saints Row the Third. I have played this installment of the series more than any other, and I'll say this. It is okay.
Just okay. Nothing amazing. Nothing truly bad, just okay.
I think as a parody of the GTA games, it does its job. It's got goofy quirks and over the top BS, but it lacks a lot of replayability.
While you can customize a lot of things, it suffers from the common problem of being a mile wide and inch deep.
However, I do like the upgrade system. The more money you make, the more upgrades you can buy, (upgraded weapons, upgrade your stamina, health, etc.) You get more money by buying properties and completing missions. It's fun to see your Saint influence grow over Steelport as you play, but... on repeat playthroughs, it gets old. I've only ever 100% this game once and I have no wish to do it again.
Most of the time when I play this game now, it's primarily just to screw around with the character creator - what monstrosity can I create and release upon the streets of Steelport? Speaking of which, what's with the character creator voice modifications? Why does altering the pitch make the character sound all robotic? It makes it so I don't even both with changing the pitch as the character just sounds dumb.
There's goofy missions to screw around with (the fan favorite being Insurance Fraud), but I kinda like the Dr. Genki missions. Gives me vibes of the Mercenaries mode from Resident Evil.
I have played the forth game, and while it was cool to be a super hero traversing over Steelport, it was much less replayable than this one. Just no real reason to go through any of it again.
I have not played the recent reboot, and honestly, I don't have a wish to. It looks like a parody of what this was, which was already a parody of GTA games.
The future of the Saints Row series needs an overhaul if you ask me. The idea of being the leader of a gigantic criminal enterprise could be executed well if they just laid off trying to be so jokey and fourth wall breaking. Not saying they can't do that at all, but just focus on making a fun GTA clone first. What does GTA do well? Well, if GTAV is any indication, those Heist missions were really well done. If the next Saints Row game is nothing but a series of Heist missions where you have to go around the city and collect supplies and people for the next Heist, that might actually be fun. I could see it being done well, but expecting Volition to do it well.... eh. I don't know. After that recent reboot, I really don't know.
But Saints Row the Third - if you are looking to spend some time in a goofy GTA clone and want to take over the city of Steelport while looking like a green fugly humanoid creature, give this game a shot. If nothing else, try it just for the Bo-Duke-En ability. Want to hijack a car? Just sprint up to it and hit the Action button and your character will jump into the driver seat through the windshield and you can drive off. I'm honestly shocked that GTA has not utilized this ability as it is incredibly useful.
Aside from a few bugs, this is a quality remaster! It's worth a purchase if you love the original game.

In order to understand Saints Row: The Third we should first look back at what came before it. 1995. Grand Theft Auto. Originally planned as “Pac-Man with cars and cops” called Race'n'Chase, it achieved something surprisingly wonderful. Something we haven't seen in video games before. 1999, Driver. It took the original GTA formula and went full 3D. Which felt absolutely amazing. Think about it. A fully 3D GTA with four open world cities based on real locations. Unfortunately, people didn't know. Because, due to overly complicated controls, no human being ever made it past the unskippable tutorial. 2001, GTA III. The legend is born. While looking suspiciously like Driver (everything – from visual style to mini-map was exactly the same), it had one big city instead of four smaller ones and, well, it quickly became one of the top-selling games on PS2. Sold more copies than titans like Metal Gear and Tekken too. Why? Well, because, unlike Driver, it was easily accessible, while (exactly like previous two games) being a lot of fun even without its story missions (which, let's be honest, were pretty rough and unpolished at times). It was GTA III that shaped the genre the way we know it today. From core elements to radio, which had real songs instead of just soundtrack.
2006. The first Saints Row. While still doing great on past-gen consoles (GTA: San Andreas sold whopping 17.33 million copies on PS2 alone, which made it the best-selling game on system), GTA series didn't make it to the next-gen systems yet and its fourth main entry still had two years until its release. While SR? It delivered exactly what people with their shiny new Xbox 360 wanted. 2008, Saints Row 2. Released head-to-head with GTA IV, it actually managed to win competition in many ways. Technically, GTA IV was a superior game. It had better physics, it had more complicated gameplay, etc. The problem was – not everybody wanted that. GTA IV was the next big step for the series. And to many of us? That step was just too realistic and way too serious to be fun. SR2 on the other hand? It was more akin to what we had before. While being dark and kinda serious too, GTA III still had lots of craziness from the original “Pac-Man” games. GTA IV lost that. SR2 did not. Hence my personal winner.
Finally, 2011. Saints Row III. I mean, Saints Row: The Third. To some, it came as some surprise. To me? It made perfect sense. While GTA series made it clear that it's all serious and realistic now, SR embraced the fun. Not only SR: The Third was not realistic, it took proud in being anything but. Moreover, the motif was downright crazy. Game had killer strippers, zombies, TRON-like cyberspace, Ashly and Anthony Burch (together with their dad) from HAWP show, and, why the heck not, real Burt Reynolds. Again, it was a huge contrast with our usual GTA III-like stuff, but again, it worked perfectly fine. SR: The Third was a lot of fun. And it's not like it didn't have anything special to offer.
First, the character editor (unlike GTA, SR allowed us to make our own “Playa”) was released as a stand-alone app called Initiation Station. It was a way for players to make characters before the release and therefore save time and jump straight into the game when it finally became available. A couple of options were also exclusive to apps and... Yeah. They hired porn stars to promote it. Most importantly, not only vehicles (it was a thing since the very first game), but also weapons became upgradable, which added quite a lot to progression feeling. At least, it was supposed to, since well, Deep Silver overdid it with DLCs, some of which broke the balance completely, but still, it was important step for the series.
SR: The Third was good. Very good. Some people still prefer second one, but lots of others consider the third one to be the best. That's, most likely, why publisher decided to go for remaster. And you know what? As much as I love the original, I kinda hate the idea. I mean, come on! It was only nine years since the original and it's not like it aged poorly. Why everything needs a remaster every couple of years nowadays? Sure, it's not as ridiculous as with, say, MARVEL's Spider-Man, but still, there was totally no reason for this. Like there was no reason for what they did with Mafia II. But you know what? Unlike the “definitive” edition of second Mafia, they actually did solid job with the visuals here.
What we've got here is not just a quick overhaul from 2K releases, but a real deal. We've got better models, better textures, better lighting and even more objects on screen. Impressive. Some people still disliked the new look and yes, everything I've mentioned is not perfect (a bit glitchy too), but personally? I'd say it's one of those cases, where visual upgrade went right (unlike, you know, GTA trilogy). The remaster makes you feel exactly like you did playing the original back in the days. You won't notice any difference until you'll actually compare. After which you'll be like “Oh...”. You know how it is. We always remember games to look better than they actually did. And the good remaster is the one that simply erases the difference. This one? This one did exactly that. Which is great. But.
The problem is – while looking for cheap solution, Deep Silver hired... *sigh* russians. Sure this remaster was made before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, but even after that, Sperasoft (a company behind this remaster) did not stop working with russia, while, unlike some other russian studios' (like Ice-Pick Lodge, for example), Sperasoft's russian division didn't bother to make any statement about war and, of course, didn't sign an anti-war letter. Keep that in mind before paying for this. But OK (not OK at all, but... *sigh* OK), war is a war, while game is a game. Alright? I'm not giving this one a thumb down because people behind it are bad people. Not trying to play karma police, just warning those who actually care. The problem is, those f*ckers actually... broke the damn thing. That's right. Remastered version may crash now and then, the AI may stop doing its job, rendering current mission unbeatable (imagine AI driver suddenly stopping, you know, driving and just stand there), and (my “favorite” part), game's full of some ridiculous bugs now. Like, instead of a room full of enemies and key elements, you may get... Just an empty room. With no way to progress. Ba-dum-tsss...
Even content-wise this version is inferior to the original. Initiation Station is not a thing anymore, both the Unlockables and Bloodsucker DLC packs are missed, and while those are considered as “pay to win” (still no idea why can't we just enable them through options or something), the fact that HAWP DLC with Ashly and Anthony isn't there simply can't be excused. Especially since store page claims this version to have all DLCs included (yes, there's “*”, but no explanation for it). Maybe this version's cheap? Nope. It's actually more expensive than 2022 reboot (which wasn't bad at all, just full of the wrong decisions and dated visuals). Now think about it. They want us to pay $22.99 for a half-broken version of the game, made by war supporters, that actually has less content than the original. Just because it looks somewhat better? I'd say, screw that. Stick with the original (which is much cheaper too) and forget about this. P.S. F*ck war, putin khuylo!
just a mindless fun game, idc about the plot... but the dialogue are funny, didn't skip the cutscene at all. Gameplay are simple, you drive you shoot then you throw people. Graphics are a massive improvement from the original, it's a proper remaster.
main story are very short though but there's still lots of things to do and there are additional DLC mission
would recommend 8/10
If the Original Third wasn't enough...BUY IT AGAIN BUT WITH MORE FUCKING BUGS..
Terrible re-make. The game is a buggy and unstable mess, not worth the money just stick with the original game. The developers should've been ashamed, it's no wonder they went under.
Yes... I would say that there are bugs here and there (for a remaster), but I do not see it, as that bad. Take GTA Trilogy for example. That ended much, much worse.
NOT A SERIOUS GAME,GOOD FUN ACTION COMEDY BADASS CLASSIC EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY HAVE A GOOD TIME A LOT OF CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS AND ACTIVITIES .NEEDS BETTER IN GAME MUSIC . GRAPHICS ARE IMMPROVED BUT ORIGIANAL OLD GAME SAINTS ROW GRAPHICS ARE FINE ALSO.BUY ON SALE AND HAVE A GOOD TIME
