Press on every beat of the music to move in a line.

Every pattern has its own rhythm to it. It can get difficult. This game is purely based on rhythm, so use your ears more than your sight.

Note that it is quite strict and unforgiving. If you've played the Rhythm Heaven series - this is about as strict as that.

- Explore the cosmos: Soar through each genre of music in a variety of colorful fantasy landscapes.
- Predict every moment: With a track that shows you every rhythm ahead of time, you’ll learn to sight-read levels as they come. No tricks, and nothing is reaction-based.
- Play new levels for free: Tackle new songs and new rhythms as we expand the game with free level patches
- Steam Workshop Support: Create, share, and play countless user-made custom levels through our Workshop
- Calibrate your experience: Manually adjust your calibration on-the-fly, or use our auto-calibration method. The game is precisely timed, and you won’t experience any slow desync over time like you might with other music-based twitch games. (We’re musicians and off-sync games hurt us.)

this game, while a little frustrating at the start, learning how to react quickly, is an amazing game you can vibe to for hours. i am shocked to discover a SINGULAR key is all you need to play this game.
One of the best rhythm games I've played. Highly recommend for the creative mechanic and for a crap ton of content in a cheap package! Will buy the DLC for sure!
Game is really really really fun once you get into it and get "good" (there's people with 3x my hours, but I feel like I'm pretty damn good.) Custom community levels are the shit, and there was even a time that I was listening to any song on Spotify and thinking of ADOFAI block rhythms.
My only gripe is that over the last three years, the game has consistently had frame stuttering issues when Discord is open, which renders the game practically useless to play when you're with your friends. 3 of my other buddies have had this issue, so I know it's not just them, but this lone problem is straying me away from the game. Please fix and I'll re-review and return to the game I love.
This game is amazing, making workshop items are really difficult tho
it is a very unique and well made game, it is original and a great game in general with a lot of effort and time put into it, and the gameplay and the quality show.
The gameplay is simple but very challenging, and the music is very catchy. The first levels are a little boring but the harder levels are very fun to play. I recommend this game.
Another nice rythm game. A fair amount of levels that challenge you even if you play this type of game regularly.
this game is amazing, especially for it's price. If you like this, I'd also reccomend Geometry Dash.
the songs are really good!! takes a while to get used to playing it and the timing stuff, but once you put like a solid hour in, you will start enjoying it really well.
good. may look low quality at first but just play the game for like 5 minutes and you'll see (if you want you can play a demo on itch)
its a good game, if youre a try hard on rythm games like geometry dash and osu then this is next on your shopping list
Fun Game? Y E S, Breaks your mental sanity? Y E S,
It's the perfect game for a mentally insane person like me imo
this game only came to me because many youtubers (such as jippers, bypassedchicken, sharky, and KingSammelot) drived me here
This game is too addicting and fun help
Making levels on it is strangely fun
this is a great rhythm game. the music is really good, the gameplay isn't too difficult, and there's a lot of levels to play. would definitely reccomend.
great game with amazing sound tracks the community is also really friendly easy to make your own levels 10/10
the extra level 2 of the dlc 's cubicle actually sucks its not adofai related at all and i get thrown off by it since im so used to normal tiles. I spent around a thousand attempts but still not past it i really dont like the mechanic..
other than that the songs are good, but the mechanics are bad. if you have a good temper, get the game. if you want to rage, buy the game. the hours i have on this game are just the deaths. then you have to restart the whole section or song. buy at your own cost. the overload mechanic is stupid, it makes some levels impossible
but not for the pro pros.
this stops being a rhythm game at a certain point and becomes more of a memory game. decent game but a pretty bad rhythm game. the neo cosmos dlc is worth it tho if u actually liked the main game.
amazing game amazing custom lvls and amazing lvl editor what more shall i say
This game is super challenging yet fun, and if you like geometry dash I bet you will enjoy this game too.

It can be a bit difficult at first, but the game gets really fun once you get used to the main mechanics.
these balls broke the sound barrier spinning help they killed my family and stole my liver to sell on eBay
10/10 would recommend
play game, lose, rage, beat checkpoint, lose, rage, eventually win. happy.
YEAYEAYEA YEAYA I LOVE TO WATCH THE RED AND BLUE DOTS SPINNNN !! <3 such fun, and a decent challenge. v excited to get into the dlc and some of the community maps
It's a really fun game, if you like to get your hands broken, and if you like rhythm games, In my opinion, ADOFAI Is the best game ever!
An amazing rhythm game with amazing music and visuals, it's pacing is great, going from easy to extremely difficult, as well as the workshop levels which add some extra fun, i highly recommend playing, and if you like it, the dlc adds even more fun and difficulty.
It syncs with all the songs so well. And it fills in that things you are missing out on. And also is very good at making you rage. 11/10
good game though if you want specific songs, you might have to go into some other websites and set it up yourself. Me personally I do not care enough to tinker with it but its probably simple. In any case, fun overall.
Game is very fun, but is also really difficult and takes a while to get good at.
Great game, though not recommended for players that do not have time (because all the rhythms are hard to master)
Never before have I found a more keyboard-smashingly frustrating game to play so addicting. It's insanely irritating to learn how to play, but once you learn, oh man, the fun just keeps getting better.
I am ass at this but its a neat take on rhythm games. Base game has a lot of built-in levels that help you learn the ropes and there's plenty of community charts
def a challenging game and requires time and patience to get used too. really recommend you finish all the starter levels before you go on to custom maps. dont rush trying to get good because trust me. you wont. take your time and dont give up it will take a couple keyboards before you stop slamming them (joke dont slam your keyboard)
A nice "mobile" rhythm game in the sense that you can play it anywhere since it is about key press timing and not aim (e.g. osu).
It would be nice to have a way to sync progress between the Steam version and the mobile version (I read it's not even the same game like timing is more lenient on mobile and there's no custom levels iirc) because it severely lower the attractiveness to own the game on both PC and mobile.
Geometry Dash for example is better in this aspect, only key press timing, but can cross-platform sync and has features parity everywhere. I personally don't play on mobile at all but if I did, it would have been a major downside for me.
As much as i want to leave a bad review, this game is amazing, and i'll detail this below
GOOD THINGS:
- level editor (super flexible, user-friendly)
- basically no keybinds (just press a button lol)
- fire songs
- just everythings
PERSONAL ISSUES:
- i find the "Having trouble? Practice in the menu!" things were a bit condescending as was wondering if there was a way to turn it off?
- random lagspikes mid level, really annoying
- some hard levels hard to the point where it's no longer relieving to finish (no fixing needed, i found that taking breaks helped :))
BUGS:
- random lagspikes during songs; presumably loading decor mid song because it deloads them to save gpu or something im not a technician
- random kick a couple seconds after death?
SUGGESTIONS:
- potato pc compatability; perhaps i propose you could condense the decor into one to three videos, background (path, parallax), foreground, conditional etc. so that you could save time loading them. or you could say "This level may cause loading issues, would you like to simplify it?" and then remove stuff like particles or parallax
- add levels showing off a whole batch of new features in the editor if there are any, this helps me learn how they work and how i could use them in a level
thanks, and have a great day :)
a fun game that can get tricky, easy to learn hard to master. had a lot of fun in the hours ive played it.
Great indie rhythm game
One of my first rhythm games ever and honestly really a bop
Only "downside" really is to get better at this game you have to continually play it because if not then you basically just lose all the stamina you have built up.
But this game is so frickin good, I cannot suggest it enough
(also has banger workshop support and custom fan-made levels!)
But yeah go check this game out!
one of my favorite games to date the only thing i will say is for some reason my jbl headphones dont sinc right so instead of using the sinc thing i have to do it manually
It's just very quick and easy to pick up and play, while victory never feels out of reach. If you're a fan of one button-style games like Bit.Trip Runner, Super Hexagon or infinite runner games, you'll love this. It's also a decent rhythm game to teach the player time signatures and counting beats.
very addicting and yet a rage game. Also level 4-X was just beutiful...
A nice game that both helps if you just want something to relax to, or give yourself a fun challenge. Highly recommend if you're into rhythm games! :D
It feels like when you start as a Power Ranger. There is a ton of things you don't know about until you figure it out yourself, and then the fights get harder and harder until you're bashing your head against a certain song. Then, once you defeat the song, It gets bigger and more powerful! So, you have to grow big and get stronger yourself until you defeat the song once and for all
This game is very fun and it improved my rhythm and music skills!
Really really fun and unique rhythm game (albeit a little unforgiving)
The Neo Cosmos DLC is fantastic and worth every penny, I come back to replay the whole game every now and then
Never gets boring, amazing community to get yourself some nice levels, I just hope you have a nice PC.
The way the game represents different rhythms is genius. It feels so intuitive after you've built some muscle memory, even though it doesn't seem like it when you watch a video of it for the first time. It's like piecing together a repertoire of patterns based on previous knowledge.
I may be geekin while trying to play the game but damn is it fun.
This game is very fun and addictive, a bit like like chocolate or illegal drugs
