Geometry Dash

Gameplay is pretty simplistic but the different game modes combined with good use of music and good level design make this game fun. The later levels increase in difficulty quickly but practice mode helps keep things fair. Overall a great game if you enjoy music based platformers with spicy but fair challenge.

I lost a significant amount of my sanity while playing this game, and I don't regret it that much. Don't have much else to say, if I'm being honest.

no matter what you do you will never finish everything in the game and i love that i'm not going to make a 3 paragraph long essay about how, "you should get the game or you're missing out" but if you like games that are run by the community, (like mario maker 2) then you should check this out!

Very good game that will make you hate yourself and ruin your sanity... all in order to get that wonderful addictive feeling after beating a super hard demon level just one more time. 10/10 :3

Geometry dash is like a drugs, you cant live without it once you have tried it but you definitely should live without it

This is my favourite game of all time. It's so satisfying to finally beat a demon after many attempts. I highly recommend you buy this game

This game is truly breath taking, really story rich drive, portraying Joe Metri Dash's story of his life. All starting when he went into a Stereo Madness.

This is my favorite game of all time, i really approve it to all ages. it allows you to progress at your own speed, and its not complicated. stop reading reviews and just buy it dawg :)

Not gonna lie played the game for years recommend this game to anyone yes it gets you on the angry side and you divorce your wife and leave your 3 kids but still i will always go back and lose my absolute mind to this game oh and btw FOREVER HATE TIME MACHINE... All my homies hate time machine..

Very fun game! 2.2 really brought me back into playing the game. I personally really like platformer levels more than the autorun levels, but both are really fun. It's awesome to see what people are making in the game and how creative they can be with the built in editor!

Geometry Dash is a fast-paced rhythm game with simple controls and challenging levels. It’s addictive, frustrating at times, but very satisfying to beat.

Ah yes the old time, i first played this game on version 2.1 and now the update to 2.2 is even bigger, with new mechanics and new gamemode platformer, i usually play on phone rarely on pc..

It's very addicting, my left finger has been reduced to bone because of how long i have been playing. Many parts of my body such have my back have morphed into the shape of my chair. I am gaining weight at a dangerous rate of 15 pounds per day. This game has ruined my relationship with my wife and child. 10/10 would reccomend

This game’s got mad potential. The recent updates have really cleaned it up, and the community’s loving it. Just gotta polish the UI a bit more.

Recommed this game only if you are a person with: No hobby, no job, no life and no interest in life.
The game can make you rage so hard you actually want to do something so diabolical that you cant even imagine it.
Overall the game is actually pretty ok and it has a lot to offer but if you have anger issues, then in no world install this

Coming back to GD after all these years really hit me with the nostalgia. I used to play this game nonstop and honestly it’s still just as fun as i remember even when i would throw my monitor outta the window when id die at 99%.
The graphics look super clean too, still got that same colorful style, but it feels smoother and more polished now

There’s a bunch of new levels which is awesome. And the community levels are wild, some of them look like they belong in a completely different game with how detailed and creative they are. Props to whoever’s been grinding the level editor because those people are on another level (literally).

Anyway, i'm glad i picked this back up. Whether you’re just messing around for a few minutes or trying to beat a level for an hour straight, Geometry Dash still delivers. It’s aged well, got some solid updates, and it’s just as addicting as ever.

A really fun challenging 2d autoscrolling rhythm platformer and a creative hub. I really enjoy playing both the official and user created levels.

Very good game just not fully for me.The community made levels alone already make this game absolutly worth buying and additionally there are ALOT of skins and content.The stuff the community made is probably the best showcase of how powerful user generated content is no serously i feel like the community is better at making levels than Robtop himself I recommend searching for the level change of scene.The base game is just good though,later levels are pretty good but older ones should get reworked,the issue is thats probably never happening because Robtop is so slow he needed 6 years for 2.2.Sure the update is pretty good but theres NOT enough new stuff to justify 6 YEARS I bet alot of indie devs from other popular indie games could have reworked the whole game TWICE in that time what is he doing????If the game wouldnt get its content from its community made levels it would be completely dead and thats the only reason this doesnt ruin the rating.My last complaint is that the level editor feels very VERY overwhelming when i built my first and only level i didnt know how to do anything.There should be a easy mode that is simpler or atleast tutorials.

I personally dont like the game as much though I love challenging games but the side scrolling is just not fun for me it doesnt let me play at my own pace and the fact input is needed pretty much 90% pof the time makes the game even more annoying for me.All of this also leads to the game being extremely muscle memory dependent because you always focus on the present and cant take a break to look at whats coming especialy the cube mode like serously everytime i get to new stuff I make just a little bit of progress because,to be fair if the difficulty is below your skill u can focus less on what ur doing right now and u ofc need skill to execute stuff so its not just muscle memory but id still its 40% muscle memory wich is way to much for me.This is probably just a personal thing because its not a common opinion thats way its just a SMALL part thats just there to describe the game to people who arent sure if the game is for them and doesnt go into the rating

Overall id rate this game a 8/10 but the price is so low that i just have to give it a 9/10 instead it almost feels like stealing if u consider how much content you get from community stuff.

I also recommend checking out the mods they mostly add alot of amazing QoL stuff but there are also mods that add content like new progression.Most can be used online without getting banned I think.

- I've been playing this game for years. Starting on my mobile device, then moving over to PC. And I absolutely LOVE this game! Yes, this game is VERY and I mean VERY difficult to get into, but is very rewarding if you put in the time to improve! Geometry Dash is a phenomenal game to play when you're bored or want a challenge. GD is also very enjoyable for those who like Rhythm Based Games and Platformers. This game has a simple concept meshed with loads of creativity, amazing music, and visually intensive gameplay. Its amazing with all its creative levels from the players and the moment you beat a level you were stuck on for a long time feels great and it has lots of features that make it fun!

Grindy, so grindy. Thousands of attempts per level once you get to demon difficulty. But when you actually beat it, it bakes the time spent so worth it. Some gameplay is very satisfying. I love gd cologne.

Yes... but there are some issues I have. If you are getting into the level editor you will be out shunned by other creators that have used this editor before. The triggers in the editor seem to have been designed for Robtop himself, good luck figuring it all out with the limited information provided in game! I understand that there is an official editor guide, but I personally don't feel like reading hundreds of pages to still likely not even have a chance.
That being said, there is still endless possibility within the editor and can be used to make absolutely brilliant stuff, get the game - but don't expect to beat many demons without a lot of commitment.
