The game is horrendous in telling you what several systems do (how you upgrade a district, what the wait time in the schedule does) even with the story mode they added after a few updates with a big patch.

The space for bus simulators needs more competition, Still Alive Studios is just coasting by on the lack of it so they can (given their previous record) release another uninspired cashgrab (like they did with "Tram Simulator", which is the same engine and thing as the DLC they released for this game, while the tram was/is already in the game, they just made it driveable).

Or maybe i just got spoiled too much by SCS and their Euro Truck Simulator 2, which, for me at least, runs perfectly and never had any issues with my wheel or anything. It also has some convenience features like auto-centering your view once you vehicle drives straight or having turn signals turn your view in the given direction.

I refunded their bus sim 18 after the wheel was bugging out the entire menu and game and it crashed during the tutorial and waited for this game to be on sale (during now's spring sale) to make sure i don't give them even more of my money.

EDIT: Oh by the way the game is "good", good for the current competition anyways...

if you like the driving and immersion side of these games rather than gameplay youll like it.

the career side is just ok in my opinion, the final mission (spoiler here, hover mouse to see) completing everything to lvl5 is only possible it seems by non stop playing for days, assuming you dont have school/work or a life

the driving and simulation side is great, optimisation is missing slightly in my opinion but it wont ever be fixed since this games been out for a while now. overall pretty good

The wheel support is terrible, and the settings feel very messy in my opinion.

Extremely good graphics and realism

Game seems abandoned by stillalive or astragon. Its a shame really, it only had rough edges but it doesnt seem like those are getting fixed. I might just leave this review here incase it ever changes.

This game is not compatible with Logitech G29, whenever I play game without the Logitech it’s works perfectly as soon as I use the console the game freezes . It is the problem for more than one year , however they haven’t fix it till now . If you have Logitech G29 you should not buy this game .

I started for the 1st time bus simulator games. This is so good driving bus simulator from 2021, chill game! And you need to reach level 8 to unlock the european map after american map. My rating is 7/10 score.

I read many reviews before purchasing this game, hoping that the negative reviews were exaggerated and the positive reviews weren't too biased or rigged. As an enthusiast of American truck simulator and games of that sort, I was severely let down.
After a solid 10 minutes of figuring out how to obtain a bus (yeah, so you start on foot, and gottta travel to garage, etc); driving in itself was a havoc. I mean, the controls are basic and you get the hang of it, but the physics is unbearable, the time it takes for the wheel to center is extraordinarily unrealistic, etc.
At that point I didn't bother to find out more flaws, and requested a refund.
Look, to those that might've enjoyed the game, hats off to you. Unfortunately, I have to vouch for the horrible reviews.

If you're genuinely looking for a heavy-vehicle driving experience, I strongly recommend checking out American Truck Simulator. If you're looking for a bus simulator specifically, I mean this with no disrespect to the developers and utmost seriousness: Download one on your mobile app store. You'll kill more hours there I bet.

My favorite bus simulator ! Played several others and they did not have the same level of quality found in this simulator !
Because the developers made the correct choice using the Unreal Engine, the graphics are outstanding !! Just beautiful ! The player control is perfect. The sounds are fine. I do not understand all the negative comments. A simulator is supposed to be like real life. And this is. Pedestrians do jay walk !! Other drivers make errors in judgement ! As a bus driver, it is incumbent to be super careful in all aspects ! Others users have complained about the pedestrians and other cars just getting in the way ! This happens in the real world. Other players maybe should not play bus simulations if they cant cope with real world situations ! Some have complained about interacting with the passengers. In real life, passengers do leave items on the bus. They fall asleep and the driver has to wake them up. Or the driver must say something in a passenger is playing their music too load. Plus drivers must extend wheelchair ramps. Part of the job. So some players should stop complaining about tasks that real drivers have to put up with every day ! It is called a simulator for a reason !!

5. bought it.
6. play 30 hours on one save, just to have a running bus network.
7. realise you got 38 million.
8. Drive in 400000 pedestrians and lose all.,

10/10, would recommend, (just keep your eyes open for mira)

Not even worth playing for free, poorly optimised with not at all realistic roads, behaviours or driving, it shouldn't be called a simulator

the game quality is brilliant and the tutorial of the game nice and straight forward.

I do like the Game, driving a Bus and with the DLC even the Tram is very nice and relaxing. I looking forward to get the Next Step to drive Schoolbus but I do look forward to this expandpack.

Laggy mess of a game. Just like in the Bus Sim 18, the pedestrians are assholes and walk into THE SIDE OF THE BUS to cause huge penalties. And one did walk in front of me, while I was 5 meters away from the crossing, at high speed. Definitely worse than 18. Refunded.
