i really recommend this game to other people. this game is very fun, including you can get fire mods, and other things. as this game is really hard to learn its fun most of the time. i really liked how you can get oem, play online, do tricks, whips, and more. i didnt really like how its very easy to tip over most of the time, but thats a skill issue for me haha! but i love the animations you can get, and the bike graphic mods. as i started a couple of days ago ive already gotten pretty good, i learned how to get oem, play online, get more tracks, bikes, bike graphics, riders, and more! i really recommend this game to you if you have money later around.
this game is the best game the grathics are insane and the mods are so cool
really fun game hard to learn but once you get it down its so fun and satisfying
One of the best dirt bike games out there, super realistic and great physics
MX Bikes isn’t your typical motocross game. If you’re coming from arcade-style titles like MX vs ATV or Monster Energy Supercross, prepare for a steep learning curve—but also a far more rewarding ride. This game is built for realism.
Every movement, from shifting your rider's weight to controlling throttle mid-air, affects the bike’s physics. It's not about holding down the throttle and flying off jumps—it's about finesse. Body positioning, clutch use, traction control, and even suspension behavior all come into play.
That attention to realism makes MX Bikes feel closer to an actual motocross simulation than any other title on the market. It's brutal at first, but once you "get it," the immersion and satisfaction are unmatched.
🧠 Physics – The Star of the Show
The physics engine is what makes MX Bikes truly shine. The bikes react dynamically to terrain, rider inputs, and weight distribution. Unlike many games where your bike feels like it's on rails, here it's like you're actually taming a powerful 2-stroke or 4-stroke beast.
Cornering requires precise body lean and throttle modulation. Jumps aren't just about speed—they’re about balance, preload, and correct take-off angles. Mistime anything, and you’ll wash out, loop out, or slam into the ground.
It's punishing, yes, but incredibly authentic. Once mastered, scrubbing a jump or railing a berm feels amazing.
🌍 Tracks – Realistic Terrain and Customizability
Out of the box, MX Bikes comes with a handful of official tracks, but the modding community is where this game comes alive. Thanks to an active user base, you have access to hundreds of custom tracks, including real-life replicas and fantasy courses. Tracks vary in traction, elevation, and even soil type (hardpack, sand, loam, etc.).
The terrain deformation system is a standout feature. As you ride laps, the track gets rougher—ruts form, braking bumps develop, and lines change. No two motos are the same, especially in multiplayer.
🛠️ Mods – The Lifeblood of the Game
MX Bikes has a thriving modding scene that fills in the gaps left by its small development team. Mods include:
Custom bikes (2-strokes, 4-strokes, OEM replicas)
Rider gear, helmets, and boots
Tracks from across the world
Physics tweaks
UI overhauls
There’s a full ecosystem built by the community, with sites like MXB-Mods.com hosting thousands of high-quality downloads. Installing mods is fairly straightforward, and some tools make it even easier.
👥 Multiplayer – Competitive & Fun (with a Few Hiccups)
Online racing is a blast—if you can find a good server. Netcode is decent for a small-scale sim, though still not perfect. Expect the occasional lag spike or disconnection, but overall, multiplayer adds a ton of replay value. From casual freerides to organized race leagues, there's plenty to get involved in.
Voice chats and Discord communities help coordinate events, and some leagues even simulate full seasons with points, heat races, and qualifying rounds.
🖥️ Graphics & Performance – Functional, Not Flashy
Let’s be honest: MX Bikes isn’t going to win any awards for visuals. Graphics are serviceable, not stunning. The textures and models are a bit outdated by modern standards, especially compared to AAA racers.
However, the game runs well even on mid-tier hardware, and the modding community improves the visual fidelity with better shaders, lighting, and track objects. What you lose in flash, you gain in performance and customizability.
🎚️ Controls – Bring a Controller (or Better Yet, a Wheel Stand)
MX Bikes was built with precision in mind. Keyboard play is technically possible but strongly discouraged. A controller (Xbox or DualShock) is the minimum requirement for a decent experience, but the real pros use dual analog sticks + triggers, and even custom handlebars or sim rigs for immersion.
The control mapping is fully customizable, including independent rider and bike control. It's complex but allows for total control over the machine.
🧭 Learning Curve – Steep but Worth It
MX Bikes doesn’t hold your hand. There are no tutorials or onboarding missions—you’ll probably crash a hundred times before completing a clean lap. But once it clicks, the depth of control and realism make it incredibly addictive.
There are community-made guides and YouTube tutorials to help new riders, and you'll need them. This is not a casual game, but for those who stick with it, it’s the best feeling motocross game you’ll ever play.
🔚 Final Verdict
MX Bikes is not perfect. It has bugs. The UI is clunky. The graphics are outdated. And the learning curve is unforgiving. But if you’re looking for the most realistic, physics-driven motocross simulator available, this is it.
Once you break through the initial wall, MX Bikes offers a deep, authentic, and endlessly rewarding experience—backed by a passionate community and near-infinite customization.
i love it hard at first then gets very fun even when u crash best dirt bike motocross game
c class in real life
c class in the game
sick
The ultimate rage quit game, amature and beginer tracks are full of toxic behaviour from riders running backwards to waiting on track to take revenge. And I also feel sometimes you can be bike choice descriminated
against. This game takes way to long to become good enough to enjoy when you can only commit limited time to.
this game is crazy good but when you get it look up good settings for thegame and GET MODS!!
very good game, takes lots of time to get good and settings correct
amazing game love to play it after a late night sesh of sausage partys with my friends
The dirt bike game i've always wanted. Extremely challenging but vastly rewarding.
'tis a damn good sim/game. Takes some serious patience and feel to nail hotlaps, but when you do - it's bliss. Mods are amazing.
super fun game to pick up, also good mod community
This shi crazy ngl. just finished my homework and my gooning lessons just to play this game for 8 hours straight. yes. 8 hours. Ts shi is realistic af was deffinently worth the 30 euros that i got from giving head to strangers!!! 5 stars
This game is one of the best dirt bike games out there for people who love motocross and bike life because the mods people make is super cool and the bike packs and liveries are super cool so i would highly recommend this game if you love motocross.
This game doesnt work and is really buggy and servers make me want to cry would not recomend
very very hard to start on but youll eventually get it going. mods are also super hard to download
Most realistic physics for an MX game there is.. Gotta have Mods for it to be worth it, but they're pretty easy enough to install. Look up Reaperdoc on YT for instructional videos on getting started.
very fun especially when im getting crashed into when going into the first turn.
once you understand how everything works and download the things needed to play online and have fun its one if not the only moto, ama supercross game there is, or at least the only one ill be playing from here on out.
I recommend this game to other players who like riding dirtbikes! but the only thing i ask to pibso to make it easier to get mods if anybody knows how to please contact me!!!
Serious learning curve, but it's a blast. DOWNLOAD THE OEM BIKES! You're going to need them to play on 90% of the servers, and they're so much better. Took me about 40ish hours to really get the hang of it and figure out the right settings for my personal play, but holy cow is it fun.
the first 2-6 hours that you play of this game you will regret and doubt why you brought this game. once you pass this stage and you slowly get use to the controls and handling it becomes so much fun. i would highly recommend this game.
warning, you will become addicted to the point going outside is no longer fun
amazing fun dirt bike game little pricey but worth every pennie
This game is very difficult and pretty boring without mods with not much settings. It is definitely far from finished but the game will be so good once/if it gets done! Lots of potential so i guess ill upvote it.
Great game, probably the best MX game out there atm ... mods are simple with plenty of tutorial videos if needed, wish there was a campaign mode and the original menu, bikes, gear are not great. If u play i suggest u using mods right away ow and this game is pretty hard it will take u a while to get good
Its really fun and it the most realistic dirt bike game i played you can get different tracks and bikes i recommend getting it
Its a realistic mx game with a lo tof dlc stuff
Pretty tricky to learn the settings but its a challenging but fun game
game is hard at first but once you get it dialed in its fun for hours, suggest integrating mods to the game menu and doing a update on the graphics. game deserves it
good game but it's very reliant on the modding community
great game, very challenging but rewarding when u get the hang of it
Great game, coming from a rider this game gets a lot of things right. A tough game but rewarding!
this game is complex yet simple the game is very fun an challenging until it gets easier with game time i found this game very fun because it challenges me i love dirtb ike games id say it shows the best physics since the game mx vs atv reflex if they combined this game an reflex itd be chefs kiss
good game, fun great physichs
pretty hard to learn but once you get used to it its very good. i play without mods and its good but you need mods to be mainly happy with the game.
Very difficult physics, but once you get it down, it's not so bad. Worth it. (I suck at Supercross tho, please help)
it's a great game. I think its pretty mod based though. It is very hard to control the bike when first starting, but I got used to it.
very hard to understand and controll at first but after a while you get the hang of it and higly recomend mods not even fun with no mods also recomend looking on youtube to see tutorials if ur woundering abt something
very fun and addicting but also hard
Awesome game if you're into dirtbikes, best dirtbike game out there IMO. It is a difficult game that takes time to get good at so don't feel discouraged if you don't get it right away.
I love mxbikes because of the physics and its extremely realistic but you need mods to really have fun.
This game is Hard to learn. It is WELL worth it tho. at 80 hours roughly, I still crash a lot, but I can actually throw the bike around and put some good lap times down. If you like Moto games, this game is so worth it. just understand, the first few hours playing will be very difficult but if you stick with it, the game gets soo damn rewarding. Lastly, the Mods, sooo many free mods. tracks, bike paints, gear, etc. you name it theres probably a mod. I actually found the local Track 3 PALMS I raced at all the time. you might find your own local track!
Everyone who plays this game ride like they are in a stolen base challenger bus and 20/200 vision, If you decide to buy this please prepare to Anne frank in the corner on every start.
Really good game but hard to get use to the controls. Have to go through a bit of hardness but great game over all and you have to get mods for the game to be the best.
Such an active game with the MxB m and the great team working on the bike physics and game. great tracks coming out often and the game is just top level in terms of control of the bike.
I would highly recommend this game to other people that like dirt bike games and that are also competitive. You can also train on your own which can help you figure out lines and how to do other things without having to worry about other people getting in your way.
Fun challenging game while being realistic in most aspects its not perfect i appreciate the community of this game as they keep it alive with pro series/community/ and modding but my only real thing is some settings need to be changed like rider lean help and the oem 450's while i love having to use throttle control first gear wheelies at quater throttle I used to ride 450's at 12 when i was under 100 pounds even being that light ive never had an issue looping out a 450
