Been playing the Bloons series since 2009. This game is the sole reason for my ADHD.

And while ADHD medication is very useful to satisfy expectation and fit into the psychopathic mold of society, after 16 years of regular consumption it's good to take a break.

Since the withdrawal kicked in, the only thing I have energy for - is getting out of bed, breastfeeding the pipsqueaks and playing Bloons. Bloons TD4, Bloons TD4 Expansion, Bloons Super Monkey, Bloons 2, Bloons TD5, Bloons Super Monkey 2, Bloons Monkey City, and now it's Bloons TD6.

A few years ago this game costed me $0.25 (ty regional prices), unfortunately it doesn't go as low nowadays, but it's the best thing money can buy anyways.

This game is great. it was 14 dollars but worth it. I love unlocking new characters and upgrading them to their full potential.

I was traumatised at a very young age after a balloon popped just next to my ear, giving me slight Tinnitus, so having a game where all you do is pop that bastards is quite relieving

This game is weird, but in the good way weird. Never in my life have I thought that I'll be spending hours upon hours to figure out a specific monkey to solve a round on an expert map, but it's really fun and challenging. The best part about the game in my opinion is that how enjoyable the game is even if you are a casual player, or if you are someone who likes a bit of challenge. The game is easy to pick up and the variety of maps makes it's so it does not get boring. I can recommend it to literally everyone, this game is the example of what happens when the developers care about and love their game.

Best Tower Defense game out there. So many fun and creative maps as well as unique challenges in forms of achievements, bosses, odysseys, quests, races, community maps/challenges, teams mode, and co-op games. Not only that, but all of the towers are very balanced, allowing you to use pretty much any tower you like, they are all versatile in their own way. This game honestly feels like a sandbox tower defense with how many different and unique ways there are to beat all of the different types of maps. I'd highly suggest playing this game if you enjoy tower defense games. With over 70 unique maps at the time of this post, and an infinite amount of community maps and community challenges, shortage of fun and enjoyable content. This is also one of the few Ninja Kiwi games where you don't need to spend money in-game to enjoy it. The experience rate goes up at a rather quick pace, so you don't feel the need to make in-game purchases.

Monke. I've been playing the flash bloons tower defense series growing up and after sinking 300 odd hours into this, its the same childish joy and strategic fun ive always loved, if you're bored and like tower defense games this one is peak

Almost always play this game randomly with friends, usually play it when im downloading another game. I seem to always go back to this over the last few years and play a little here and there. 9/10

Bloons TD 6 isn’t just a game; it’s a life-or-death struggle where monkeys with sunglasses are somehow humanity's last line of defense against weaponized party balloons

With this game you can stop the bloon epidemic from killing all those poor baby chimps. Show those floating rubber vessels filled with not air but evil that their judgement is coming and it’s in the shape of a dart!

Used to be an addict for this game, but just havent had as much time to sit down and play a full round or anything. Very fun, dumb little monkeys attacking balloons will always be amazing. Also, for anyone who doesnt like alchemist... you're wrong.
Very fun, endless playability.

I hate this game. I haaaaaaate this game. It is the most frustrating tower defense game I've ever played. And I can't stop playing it! It makes me so angry! And yet it also is so gloriously joyful to break my record and get to higher rounds. But WOW some of the challenges are ridiculous. Just utterly impossible. Until you beat them. I adore this game.

Don't let the artstyle and theme fool you. This game may look like a cartoonish mobile/browser game with very little depth, but it's the complete opposite. It has a ton of depth to it and pretty much all articles and videos that compare different Tower Defense games have ranked Bloons TD 6 either at the top spot or in the highest tiers. The game is cheap to buy, doesn't push microtransactions too hard and the unlocking process is a breeze.

It also has an incredible amount of different towers with all kinds of branches you get to choose to customize them even more. The heroes are also a fun twist that can shape your playstyle somewhat.

There's an insane amount of content as well from tons of regular maps to events like Odysseys, Races, Boss Battles, Territory events etc. It even has a custom match browser and co-op! There's also a level editor that gets unlocked later on as you progress and the possibilities are pretty much endless.

I went in expecting not a whole lot and after almost 80 hours I can safely say this may very well be the best Tower Defense game out there. Go and buy it.

Mokeys killing ballons this concept has been around since the dawn of the time but this iteration of the game is absolutely phenominal I mean just the fact that it's 3d it just absolute genius and then the fact that they still have content after all this time and better yet this game is live service meaning that it still getting updates its so amazing and now to the all the content they added the most exciting one being the paragon system i mean just thinking about it gets me excited but yea just to give you a gist of things in the game you place down a monkey you have three options to upgrade top middle and bottom path you go can fully one path and still get two upgrades from another path but only two paths at a time and two upgrades from the other path what makes paragons exciting is the fact that they combine all tier fives of that tower and more i think my favorite paragon has to be the ninja paragon because of the fact that it just looks so awesome matter of fact my favorite tower might just be the ninja but now that im talking about monkeys another thing that they do since its live service is adding more towers the first one i remember all the way back in christmas of a few years ago it was the dartling gunner it was so amazing that towers might have been my favorite back in the day because it was just so strong but now i think it has been nerfed quite a bit since it is a live service game there is some game balacing pathcrs that happen another thing that happens because of live service is new content such as bosses now i havent really play around with that many bosses if any at all but from what ive seen the different bosses yes there are mutliple seen to be all different and unique and exciting in their own way my favorite one based on design has to be phase simply cuz it just looks so cool another thing that they added pretty recently is the map maker this is another feature that i havent really played around with but i just know that it has to be an awesome feature that many players have enojyed and from what ive seen this has allowed for funny silly maps to come to this game another thing that gets me really excited to play btd6 is the coop its very basic but playing bt6s with friens just makes the game even more enjoyable another thing that i like is the black borders system i know recelty they added silver gold and like bronze too which is nice but the fact that they had attention to detail to added a little border around a map that you have fully completed is a very nice touch which is think that the devs dont credit enough credit for last thing i wanna talk about is the knowledge system this skill tree may have been forgotten for a lot of people considering that they have most likely completed it long ago but some of the upgrades are very beneficial to your monkey game carerr to the point that you may not notice it in the long run but all those upgrades combine make you so good that it becomes actually hard to lose sometiems but this skill tree is wasted when playing the hardest mode chimps this modes does alot but one of the things is removing the skills tree buffs but yea i can't say much about it because i havent actually played any chimps but ye its a funy little challege for more hardcore players but if you have the monkey money to get this game i highly recommend because it has high replayabilty a lots of fun to be had plus if you happen to have friends then they can play with u too!

Truly an awe inspiring game with a plethora of game mechanics and viable strategies to tackle even the most arduous of situations. I cannot think of a modern tower defence game that can compete.

This is an awesome game to just kill some time! You can play a quick match or sit for several hours having a blast. If you like tower defense games then this is a must have. The game has challenging maps and things to strive for as you play. It has co-op up to 4 player and with several different ways to set that up. Co-op adds some challenge with the features it adds.

It's a fun tower defense game. The content is consistently updated with new maps, daily challenges, and other content. There are solo and multiplayer events. I've played a hundred hours and I'm not tired of it yet!

This game is great alone but playing co op is infuriating. Me and my husband will get to level 78 (2 levels before the end of hard mode) and then all the sudden it says "waiting for other player" indefinitely. Makes you quit the game and you lose all your 'one time use' things and everything. This is insane, I don't want to play this alone so I'm rating it based on the co op and its freaking awful.
I've looked into this and don't see where the devs are even acknowledging this problem but theres complaints all over the discussion pages.

Incredible game. I loved Bloons TD Battles 2 so thought I would try this. Even more heroes, even more fun to have with custom maps, and the pay to win aspect is basically completely gone.

The gameplay is very addictive, and not in a bad way. The gameplay can be very challenging but it's very fun, and at the moment it feels like there's always something to do.

The constant updates really helps elevate this game, and I really appreciate Ninja Kiwi for this, a lot of games don't get any updates at all after the 4 year mark, let alone consistent ones.

My only complaint is that there is no PVP gamemode, but that is not something that is really bad, it's just due to the fact that I was so used to BTDB2's mechanics. I feel like a VS mode would be really cool at some point.

Overall, 100% buy this game, especially if it's on sale. The co-op gamemode is really fun with friends.

Bloons td 6 is a really well-polished game that i sadly neglected playing for a couple years. i never realized that btd6 is a much more complete game than btd5, i just hated the graphics for the longest time. i am glad that this is better than btdb 2 and the beast handler tower

i had a serious addiction to hearing the bloons pop im better now but i would randomly here it but still super fun im happy this game is getting paragons ps when monkey foarm paragon or the glue monkey?

fantastic game. I started playing playing bloons tower defense games with btd5 when I was smoll, and got this one recently when I was feeling nostalgic. Would recommend if you enjoy this type of game and are willing to spend a lot of time just to make yourself happy.

If you can appreciate the game's simple graphics, the core mechanics are very satisfying and can even become addictive. For completionists, it requires some effort—there’s a single achievement that demands an entire year of commitment with daily logins. The community is supportive once you understand certain behaviors (a "time is money" kind of mindset).

A great modern BTD game that receives consistent updates with new content. Firstly, I've been playing BTD since BTD2 (which makes me feel old, playing in the library at school during lunch break or during computers class). BTD6 at first feels underwhelming as you have to unlock all the towers and tiers associated with the towers. It's a tad bit of a grind at first but once you unlock everything, you have full creativity to defending yourself from the bloons!

This game got me through my boring engineering courses, through covid, and the occasional long flights (I bought it for my phone as well). If you are a fan of bloons, def check this one out! You can play with up to 4 players together but be wary as there is quite a bit of input lag on co-op maps.

Alas I have to not recommend Bloons TD 6. I had a lot of fun with it, but after having it waste my time so many times due to disconnecting co-op boss battles with my friend I am done with it.

To go 120 plus rounds of managing characters just for one of us to be kicked out with no option to rejoin is not worth it anymore. I happened to us multiple times, weeks apart, both of us, with no discernible pattern we could work with. If this issue is fixed or at least a solid rejoin match mechanic was added then I would totally recommend this game.

I actually have a lot more time on this game. I also bought it on my phone to more easily play it out and about/ We had these disconnected in all combinations of device. Both PC, both phone, mix and match. 2 players, 3 players, and 4 players. Even when those extra players were just us on another account we started on our extra device.

Bloons TD 6, or as I like to call it, "A Masterclass in Balloon-Based Anxiety," is a game where you unleash an army of highly trained monkeys to pop balloons with a level of tactical precision the military could only dream of. It sounds silly, and it is—but somewhere between placing my first Dart Monkey and watching a ZOMG blimp trample my hopes and dreams, I realized I was hopelessly addicted.

The game starts off innocent enough. Red balloons? No problem. You chuck a monkey down, watch it throw darts like it’s playing a carnival game, and boom—you feel like a genius. Then the game laughs at you. “Oh, you think you’re smart? Meet the Camo Balloons. The Lead Balloons. The Regrow Balloons. The ones that look at your defenses and say, ‘Nice try, chump.’” Suddenly, you’re 30 rounds in, sweating bullets as you frantically spam upgrades while an entire armada of balloons crashes through your carefully crafted defenses like a parade of doom.

But what truly makes BTD6 a masterpiece is the sheer depth. You want to pop balloons? Great. Here’s a monkey that shoots lasers. Here’s another with a sun-powered death beam. Here’s a submarine, a wizard, a sniper, a helicopter, and a monkey piloting a mech—all united in their balloon-popping crusade. Every tower has so many upgrades and paths that I’m convinced there’s a college course out there titled "Advanced BTD6 Strategies and Monkey Economics 101."

And just when you think you’ve mastered the game, it hits you with CHIMPS mode—the setting designed to ruin friendships, test your patience, and make you question if balloons have souls. There’s no second chances, no lives, and absolutely no mercy. It’s like the game’s developers watched people having fun and said, “Let’s take that away.”

The graphics are charming, the monkeys are oddly lovable, and the balloons? Oh, they’re your mortal enemies now. You’ll see them in your dreams. You’ll hear the sound of them popping when it’s completely silent.

Would I recommend Bloons TD 6? Yes, absolutely. It’s a game so simple and yet so impossibly addictive that you’ll blink and realize you’ve sunk 200 hours into it. 10/10—monkeys, balloons, and existential dread have never been this much fun.

I have a very old computer but when I play this game it is almost as if I am on a 100,000 dollar computer.

The sounds of bloons popping stirs a profound sense of hope deep within, intermingled in a wave of tearful emotions as it reminds me of my childhood in Vietnam. With each sharp burst bringing me a cascade of joy and unbridled happiness. Its not just a sound, its an experience, a doorway back into time imbued with all forms beauty, belonging and unspoken magic.

great game but havent played it in a while. had my account linked to my google play account where i had a ton of progress. just reinstalled and all of my progress and in-app purchases are gone.

First this game is ok with gameplay and replayability but I have a huge problem with it:
this game is basicly a mobile, yes I know It's playble on mobile but when you buy a game on steam you do not expect to see "unlock all charcters for 5.99%" it's just making me sad to see the reward each day you log in and 4.99 for X.
Don't get me wrong I like the game but the way it's treating you as a someone who paid for the game is bad.

Bloons TD 6 is the perfect mix of strategy and chaos. I thought popping balloons would be easy… but nope! I spent hours planning the perfect defense, only to get overwhelmed by a sneaky bunch of balloons I didn’t see coming. The variety of towers and upgrades keeps things interesting, and every new map feels like a fresh challenge. Plus, co-op mode is a blast with friends. Highly addictive and great for anyone who enjoys a challenge, or just wants to pop some balloons. 10/10, would get destroyed by ceramics again.

Oh yeah, this is peak gaming. Years and years of gaming evolution has lead up to the ultimate gaming experience that is Bloons TD 6. This game has everything anyone could ever want. Beautiful music made by the most talented of composers. Excellent gamemodes that will challenge even the most veteran Bloons TD players. Interesting community made maps that show just how much the fans love this game. Neat easter eggs that allow you to do interesting things such as shrinking the size of bloons and monkeys. To sum it all up, this game has everything and anything a gamer could want. Do buy this game when you get the chance.

I cannot currently recommend this in good conscience due to the copious amount of ways to spend real money in-game, despite it already having a base cost of 14 dollars.

Also, playing Co-op yields basically no rewards. This is unfortunate for progression as I almost exclusively play with friends.

Despite that, it is a fun and well made TD. I hope that these practices may be reduced, though am doubtful it will happen.
