This is probably the most polished game I've ever seen. The perfect combination of everything: visuals, music and gameplay. During the 60+ hours of play the developers never ceased to amaze me with their creativity.
King Dice was hard as hell. DLC was surprisingly easy to me but I beat the game only on normal difficulty. Won't even dare to try expert mode.

One of those games that somehow manages to be both brutally challenging, and somehow very rarely feels unfair.
The soundtrack may also do a lot to temper my rage though! I sure love me some big band.

Cuphead is special.
When it comes to imagination, these bosses take the cake - clever, absurd and downright hilarious.
They're also devilishly tricky. But this only serves to make it sweeter when you clutch out that KO, or hit that S-Rank you've been gunning for. DLC truly is delicious too. Give it a go.

One of the best games I’ve ever played, Cuphead brings back memories of the classic Contra games from back in the day. With its incredible replayability and highly enjoyable experience, it stands out in every aspect.

I can't stress enough on how perfect this game is. Everything, down to the game play, storytelling, and the gorgeous hand drawn animation; this game has it all! I love all the references and call backs to 80's and 90's video games and the 1930's rubber-hose animation. This game will test your patience and especially your skills. Just a minor warning; this game does tend to make people upset for how difficult it is (me included) but I think that adds to the amazing game play of it. I also have over 45 hours in this game and I still haven't seen everything the game has to offer! I'm feeling Cuphead will be a exciting game to 100%. So do yourself a favor and purchase this game right now! You wont regret it! :)
The elastic and fluid animation paired with the unmistakable cartoon art style make you excited to see what the next boss is like every time you beat one. The game is difficult and can be sometimes frustrating but it comes off as intentional rather than an oversight.
I'm an FPS shooter playa so I decided to try smth different - smth beautifully painted and perhaps more relaxing. Little did I know... The suffering is definitely present. Finished the game on normal difficulty in 40hrs and gained some new grey hairs. I’d recommend this game if you’re after smth unique, but be ready for some incredibly frustrating moments. For me the sense of satisfaction after finally defeating the bosses makes it worth the suffering.
It's fitting that this game has so many themes of The Devil

One of the best "platformers" I have played. The art style is just addicting, can just keep looking at the animations, they look so fluid.
The difficulty of the game is pretty hard, but its not something unachievable. Its all about learning the patterns.
I have finished my regular run and starting an expert run.
Have got the DLC as well.

Very good game. Remind me of "Nintendo hard" games where you need to learn the patterns in order to complete a level. Love the style, different weapons and the variety of skills you can use.
Plane levels are on the hard side, but the rest of the game is not that hard (on normal, didn't do much on expert).
I do not like to judge art based on how much effort was put into making it. I find that the ways in which the art itself inspires you are far more important. Cuphead, however, sways this philosophy of mine. A delightfully fun, action-focused, massively complete video game, that was drawn on PAPER, over the course of a decade. It is a game in which the effort and love required to develop it is not only massive, but felt.
This game has been told to be very hard and sometimes, very infuriating for some, but not only this game is a massive visual treat with a lot charm and personality, and the controls feels really good, platforming, response time, moving in the air! It makes sense for this game to be really hard in all that's thrown at you, it just controls so well.
And they had a DLC, it almost feels like a new game, and it contains some features that can make previous boss fights, including main game, MORE enjoyable.
if you are up for a challenge and want lots of fun, then this game is perfect. the art style and different abilities you can use makes this game like no other. Me and my cousin had a blast playing Cuphead! also a little side note: if you get the DLC and the base game, i highly suggest that you beat the main game first. The DLC has got to be the hardest game iv'e played ever, but it is one of my favorite games!

Amazing game
The games is pretty challenging at the beginning, but the more you replay the bossfights, the easier it is to get used to their mechanics, wich leads to a pretty easy at least A- grade. The artstyle is absolutely adorable for me, someone who loves the old cartoon vibe. Despite raging and even breaking my previous laptop because of the game, I still reccomend it, this shit is really good >w<

Only complaint is that Chalice trivializes the game and now my pacifist achievement isnt really impressive anymore.
This game is a masterpiece, a real 10/10, a treat from the beginning up until the end. There are few games that have such a unique and beautiful artstyle. The game might be difficult but it rarely feels unfair, because the bosses and levels are designed with such care. If you didn't play Cuphead already, you should make it your top priotrity.
Forget games with training montages...Cuphead IS a training montage.
I'd rave about the design and the sound effects and all of that jazz, but I really feel like that speaks for itself--not to mention the storyline and characters.
You might rage-quit the first time you get taken out by a seed cannonballing from the sky, or a jellybean no bigger than your foot pretending to be a knight--that's okay. I'm pretty sure we have all been there. But there is nothing quite like the loud, overzealous KNOCKOUT screen when you conquer a boss, when you see that little flag come up.
Fighting in Cuphead is like arm-wrestling an octopus, while keeping an eye on a sizzling plate of garlic so that it doesn't burn, and meanwhile going over a speech that needs to be delivered in a few hours. Your brain will do things that you didn't even realise it could do; your peripheral vision is your best friend; breathing in and out definitely helps too.
A bloody fabulous game, if I may say so. The bosses are all so unique, one can only imagine the hours of pleasure the designers had drawing and creating devilish attacks for each of them, as well as the snappy catchphrases and epic battle names.
You will feel like the underdog learning and mastering kung fu each time you jump over something nasty or parry lethal blow. That feeling is worth it.
I recommend Cuphead to...pretty much anyone.
This game is beautifully made and the fact that it's supposed to be difficult makes it that much better when you beat the game. I've beaten this game 4 times on console, and I'm replaying it for a 5th time on PC because it's just that good <3

Challenging but fun, consists of a lot of trail and error. Very cool animations and style, highly recommend.

Fun game a little too easy but very fair. I can see it being a game I come back to in order to unwind.
Amazing game with stunning visuals reminiscent of old cartoons and a fantastic soundtrack. Its incredibly rewarding to finally achieve S ranks on bosses. The DLC is a must buy, a good quantity of polished and insanely fun content you can access near the beginning of the game for a very low price. I would highly recommend picking up this game if you enjoy, one of my favourite games of all time.

I have been playing this game for years on different consoles, but just got it on steam. Extremely fun boss and level design, the art style is a masterpiece and the music is some of the best video game music. Highly recommend 10/10.
This game is great. But its not the type of game to relax and play its very hard and bone crushing
downloaded it from green steam and sunk a lot of hours years ago, but it is such a good game that now that i have the means to buy it i had to support the devs and unlock all achievements here.
This is so hard to play that im not even having fun.Couldve made a easy and hard mode and this game wouldve had more sales and more happy customers

Played on xbox back when it first came out. Great memories, would recommend playing with a friend rather than alone. Also xbox controller is much more intuitive, but that might just be me.
after getting all achivements i can say that if u want to play a easy game cuphead is just for you(if u have a second controler in case u breake one)

Just remember to be patient and this is one of my favorite games of all time. It is such a refreshing gameplay loop that always tries something new, something desperately needed nowadays

This game is a fun reminder, how much I appreciate animation as a medium.... the game itself is absurdly difficult, but I was smiling and chuckling through it
While the game does focus on a goofy and rather obvious cartoony style, it is an extremly hard action platformer. Neither the less, it's actually wonderful; great story, neat secreets and amazing gameplay. I totally reccomand this (just don't make a deal with the devil)!
This game is such a vibe, unlike anything else I have ever played. The music just hits so different, the animation makes everything look super unique, and then the gameplay, at first I found it's default layout so difficult i tried rebinding it, but then I got used to it and it's genuinely one of the smoothest platformers out there. That's not to say it's easy though, it's very very difficult, but it's not a rage game. It's worth far more than 20 bucks, that's for sure.

Interesting game. I could never get into it while watching youtubers play it, but when I randomly decided to buy and play it, I really enjoyed it. This type of game usually isn't my cup of tea but I liked the character designs, the plot and the gameplay.
