This is a poor game from a studio which generally delivers better. As much as it pretends towards a deep narrative, I completed it within seventeen minutes of booting it up and was left entirely unimpressed. The game lacks any meaningful depth or characterisation, there is no development of characters and every choice is little more than a numbers crunch leading towards a final showdown which feels meaningless given the lack of involvement of what went before.
I bought this in the sale and have requested a refund. Thankfully, the studio's more recent work is better, but this is laughable.
WAY, way too short ! About 30min to get one of the "good" endings. Not even one interesting character and no real feeling of adventure. It's just... boring.
This story is touted as a piece of active history but I quickly became annoyed with all the ludicrous national names presented in an effort to avoid historical ones. For all the action hinted at the story is over quickly without any sense of actual achievement. It would be more interesting to read a historical representation of the events described with more time spent illustrating those instead. As it is, it leaves one empty and wondering what all the commercial fuss was about.

Well, i try this...and i tought that is longer,and i can say that more than a half you just click next,next...i will like to see this type of games to be longer and maybe more choisses to make and to add,for example to a futuristic storie a cyberpunk interface, to be more.....colour..
A very short addition to the Choice of Games catalogue; it felt even shorter than the original.
Very short, perhaps a bit too easy, but not unenjoyable.
I really like this game, its nice just to take a break from other games, ralax in sink into the roll of captain. Very engaging and fun 8/10
A decent game and successor for the original Choice of Broadsides. I did however find it quite short (even after several different playthroughs). But other than that, it's a good alternate history fiction choose-your-own-adventure.
