As an enlightened individual, I ascended to moon lord's hyperborea to ask terraian yakub for divine answers as to why Re-Logic thought it was a good idea to monumentally waste my time with their esoteric and mystical quest system that refers to me as a monkey by an omnipresent child who disappears when I drop 100 boulders on his soft cranium.
I remember when my cousin show me this game on Xbox 360 probably over 10 years ago. I loved it so much and had some much fun playing it with him and not knowing anything about the game. At the time I would go as far as saying this game is better than Minecraft, but now Minecraft is it's own game and so is Terraria! I love this game and see how it come over the years and switch to PC after awhile just made me love this game even more! When the do BIG update to the game its like having to relearn the game as if its a fresh start! this was the journeys end update! They keep bringing me back and I hope they don't stop updating and making more, and if they have to switch the software they use this game is codded on instead of them making a seperate game it would be better for them to call it a update verses a Terraria 2
So yes if you are new to this game I highly recommend you try it out! slow at first but once you start discovering things it doesn't end until you have hours on this game!
w game. fun with or without friends. plenty to do and interesting mechanics to look into, whether them being intentional or not.
"Terraria: A 200-Hour Love Affair with Boundless Creativity"
Having spent a staggering 200 hours engrossed in the pixelated universe of Terraria, I feel it's time to pen down my love affair with this sandbox adventure game that has captivated my imagination and creativity.
At first glance, Terraria might seem like just another 2D platformer, but it offers an expansive world with endless possibilities that are only limited by your imagination. The game world is procedurally generated, offering unique biomes to explore, from lush forests and dank caves to the mysterious jungle and ominous underworld. Each journey through these varied landscapes reveals hidden treasures, rare resources, and formidable enemies waiting to challenge your skills.
One of the most rewarding aspects of Terraria is its crafting system. The game encourages players to gather resources and experiment with crafting to create everything from simple tools and weapons to elaborate furniture and architecture. As someone who loves building and designing, the ability to construct intricate homes and structures was a significant draw for me. Over the 200 hours, I found myself constantly refining my creations, adding new elements and themes to my growing empire.
Combat in Terraria is equally engaging, offering a plethora of enemies, each with unique attack patterns and behaviors. Boss battles are a highlight, requiring strategic planning and well-crafted gear to conquer. The sense of accomplishment after defeating a formidable boss is immense, driving you to delve deeper into the game's challenges.
Exploration is another key component of the Terraria experience. The thrill of discovering new cave systems, uncovering hidden treasures, and stumbling upon rare items adds an addictive layer to the gameplay. There's always something new to find, making each session feel fresh and exciting.
The game also supports multiplayer, which I found to be a fantastic way to share the experience with friends. Collaborating on massive building projects, tackling bosses as a team, and exploring the world together added a social dimension that enriched the overall gameplay.
Despite its age, Terraria receives regular updates, ensuring that the game remains fresh with new content, items, and mechanics. This ongoing support has kept me returning, eager to see what's next in this ever-evolving world.
In conclusion, my 200 hours with Terraria have been an exhilarating journey of creativity, exploration, and adventure. It’s a game that invites you to imagine, build, and conquer, offering a rich tapestry of experiences that continue to delight and inspire. Whether you're a lone builder crafting your dreamscape or a brave explorer seeking new challenges, Terraria offers something for everyone to love.
Man, Terraria hits different now. I used to play it all the time with my cousin. We’d stay up way too late, building castles that looked more like awkward piles of blocks, digging endless tunnels, and getting absolutely wrecked by bosses. It wasn’t about being good, it was just us, mesing around and having a blast. We had this one world we kept going back to. It was a total mess, but it was ours. Every time we logged in, we’d add something new, usually something stupid, like a dirt tower or a pit of slimes. It felt like we’d have forever to keep working on it.
But life doesn’t care about plans.
My cousin passed away suddenly. One day, we were talking about what boss to fight next, and the next, they were gone. I remember opening that same world alone. The castle felt empty. The NPCs wandered around like nothing happened. The music, which used to feel cozy, just hurt. I tried to keep playing, but it wasn’t the same. It felt like I was walking through an abndoned place that used to be full of life. For a while, I couldn’t even look at Terraria without tearing up. It wasn’t a game anymore, it was a reminder of what I lost. Eventually, though, I came back. Not because I stopped missing them, but because I realized something: the world wasn’t unfinished. It was perfect the way it was, messy, weird, and full of memories. Every dumb hallway and half-built project was a reminder of the time we spent together. And as long as that world exists, a part of them is still here. Thank you terraria for giving me so many good memories with him.
B O U L D E R, Rod of Discord RNG, Bat in Master mode, Dyrad 1% corruption/Hallow remains & Angler 200th quest exist. P A I N & you will never get bored 10/10
Terraria: A Love Story (but mostly a survival horror experience).
BF: "Let’s play this game together, it’ll be fun!"
Me: Immediately dies to a slime.
Pretty sure this was the first game my boyfriend made us play together.
He was the brave explorer, the master builder, the guy who knew what he was doing, leading me through this on his white horse.
I was the human embodiment of "OH GOD WHAT IS THAT?!" and specialist of "why is there a giant worm chasing me?!" while repeatedly falling into holes I definitely didn’t see. I’m pretty sure I got lost in a cave once and accidentally domesticated a bat (it was attacking me, but we bonded).
At least he gifted me a pretty pink kitty sword and somehow reignited my gaming addiction… but let’s be real, he knew exactly what he was doing. Absolute genius move.
If you’re looking for the perfect couple’s game, this is it! One of you will become a tactical mastermind and thrive under pressure, while the other will contribute by screaming, hoarding useless items, and constructing overly decorative homes that serve no real function - except to house a concerning number of critters in tiny glass prisons.
GF approved (after I stopped dying every 5 minutes). Relationship status: Officially co-op’d for life.
I mean sure, you can play solo, but what's the point when you can make your partner or friend deal with all the enemies you accidentally summon?
the game's a classic, its 100% worth buying. even if you get bored there's many mods out there you can play.
Terraria is definitely one of the games of all time. I've played this game on the 3DS when I was young, and it's the reason I had steam in the first place.
Genuinely great game for its price.
(Oh yeah you can piss on your enemies as a mage)
Unplayable on Mac, the UI is extremely tiny with no way to fix it in game.
With 430+ hours played on PC alone, and over 4k on console, I can confidently say this game is a masterpiece. A perfect blend of exploration, combat, and creativity, Terraria offers endless adventure. Each biome is packed with secrets, the boss fights are challenging yet rewarding, and the building possibilities are limitless.
Solo or with friends, there's always something new to discover. The amount of content is insane, and the updates keep making it even better.
⭐ 10/10 – One of the best sandbox adventure games ever!
One of the best game i've ever played. It's very fun and amazing game whether playing solo or with friends. If you love sandbox games, crafting things, boss fight, explore world i highly recommend this game 1000%.
got it on playstation 4, enjoyed it
got it on a previous steam account, enjoyed it more with the servers and workshop
got it on this account, still enjoyed it quite a bit!
kinda wish i didn't spend half of the time playing on preparing for bosses but other than that it's a fun little game to play
might come back to this review with more depth but who knows
No game can top terraria for me. I enjoy how active the community is too keeping the game relevant.
Easily one of my favourite games of all time, I don't have many hours to play these days due to work but the feeling of starting a fresh world and dumping any spare hour of time I have is amazing, from the different classes available to the bosses, exploration and even building. amazing.
absolutely horrid starting out especially if you're playing with a group of friends who don't try to guide you and just focus on their own progress however, once you play enough to be able to play confidently without the wiki you can't get out.
help me I'm trapped
ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME
it's a must be played game no doubt, this Sandbox game is similar to Minecraft, it's so satisfying and addictive, very good combat, amazing RPG elements, and a complex and genius gameplay, it's a huge game, so expect yourself to spend so much time to learn the basics, in other words, you have to give so much time to see its true potential, perfect title 10 out of 10
I am on 75 hours now and i am still in pre-hard mode, I guess i might reach 200 h to finish everything, there are infinite possibilities to play and build and do soooo many thing you can't even imagine ..
it has waluigi mods i rate it a wah/10
fr tho good ass game, get this shit put it on master mode with friends and suffer for hours at the beginning before you even get basic weapons, great experience.
Great crafting, great exploration, great advancement, great variety, great game.
Wish I had tried it sooner to be honest as I was a little skeptical due to the pixel art aesthetic (I know, don't judge a book by its cover). However, I was thoroughly impressed within the first hour. There is just so much value packed into this game. You can tell it is definitely a labor of love.
Don't be a fool like me and wait, give it a try!
What to say. What to say.
This game is the most beautiful, varied, challenging, and interesting game I have played.
I adore everything about this work from the art style to the comedic explosions of body parts that comprise most of the game's victories and deaths.
This game. It's incredible.
Hope you like it too.
Minecraft in 2D, Overall fun, quite easy but getting item is time consuming especially items with low drop rates or one that needs you to do multiple quest.
It allow users to mods from steam workshop which makes it more fun.

Over all, very fun!
In the past months that I've had the game I haven't played it often, but I'm starting to get into and play the game more now.
I love games with pixel or
PSX graphics and Terraria executes that first category of graphics well.
The game has loads of content and features to explore and a ton of settings to be adjusted to your taste/needs, as well as multiplayer functionality, both over IP and Steam.
Overall I enjoy the game a lot, and plan to put much, much, much more time into the game, both playing by myself and with friends!
What can I say. It is the best survival game ever made. Absolutely amazing. The visual style fits the game like a glove. Controls are polished and smooth, the crafting is sophisticated and complicated but rewarding. Boss design is challenging but fair. The open world is fun to explore. It is a great game. Only negative I can think of are three achievements which felt like such bullshit. Just play it, it's great! 10/10
This game was the reason why I failed two college entrance exams because of how addictive it is. I spent hundreds of hours grinding whatever it is I wanted instead of studying.
Having friends to play with adds an extra layer of fun, especially if you're into trolling each other by setting traps and/or spontaneously blowing each other up.
Oh, the memories...
Очень хорошая и приятная игра в коопе хоть я играл тока с телефона

probably my favorite game of all time. i have more hours in this on xbox than i do all of my steam games combined. the feeling of slowly upgrading your character over time is addicting.
0/10 its ruining my sleep schedule
Pretty good game, is a little hard for a first timer but still good. 10/10
Terraria is an amazing game whether you're playing by yourself or with friends. There are countless adventures to be had, things to collect, and bosses to fight and defend yourself against. I've poured hours into this game and played with so many people. It's a game that never gets old and always offers something new. Highly recommended!
very fun epic gaming game you should download (def not hard to understand)
ive played this for about 60 hours within a week of obtaining the game its pretty good would reccomend for masochists
On the surface a very simple game, in reality there is so much depth and complexity to the game if you are willing to get in to it.
honestly new players need some time to get used to this game but after that it would be one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences.
Had the game for a few years and I must say the dev team is amazing at what they do! I HIGHLY recommend anymore to buy the game and give it a try!
Really good game, Been playing it since I was 7, And is really fun with multiplayer and mods, 10/10 would recommend.
this is one of the most important and influential parts of my life and I genuinely can't thank re-logic enough for crafting this absolute masterpiece
Terraria is an incredible game! The exploration, crafting, and boss battles make it endlessly fun. It’s a truly rewarding experience that’s worth every minute. Highly recommended!
EN:
Terraria is a game where you can explore a big world, build your own houses, and fight enemies.
When you start, you only have a few basic tools. You can gather resources, craft weapons and armor, and create things for your home. The game has many different places where you can discover surprises, bosses, and unique enemies, making it very diverse!
The best part is the ability to play with friends! You can explore the world together, making it even more fun. The graphics are cute and pixelated, while the music helps set the atmosphere.
Updates make the game even more interesting by adding new features and items (it's a shame they come out very rarely). Overall, Terraria is a great entertaining experience for those who love adventure and creativity.
The game is worth the money spent on it!
RU:
Just a really, really fun game. It's super easy to play with friends too!
A potentially good game. I say that because if it's you're first time playing the game, I suggest you play solo or with other players who have the same level of experience as you.
As a beginner playing with veterans, early game is just a blur. With you fumbling around and trying to figure things out. While your more experienced friends start exploring the world at a fast pace. By mid game, you just feel left out and the game becomes more or less unrewarding. Most of the easily accessible chests have already been opened and all "limited" loot in the world have already been taken.
Picture this. Your friends flying in the are dawning shiny armor and weapons with cool effects while you still wear the basic craftable armor and craftable weapon. And every time you explore and come across a chest, expecting to finally get some cool loot yourself. Only to open it and find it empty. Not fun at all.
It's not until mid to late game where you start getting the hang of things and start to feel useful and maybe get some good loot here and there. -- At the cost of extensively reading the wiki to bridge the gap in experience so you somehow know what you want to do and have your own personal goal.
Pros
- Lots of different weapons
- Dynamic environment - random events, biomes spreading, etc
- Interactive and unique NPCs
- Lots of blocks, building and decorative pieces
Cons
- Bosses are terribly unbalanced with multiplayer
- Some lootable items have a limit to how many there are in the world
- World size limit
- Not much to do after killing the last boss
A very high degree of freedom sandbox game, players can freely explore their favorite aspects to play.Awesome!
yes good game 👍
• better than minecraft
• has drills
• has more ores
• has a wall of flesh
• has a floating eyeball
• has a floating brain that has a heart
• has a sentient carnivorous plant
• has a massive sentient blob of slime
• you can see stuff that your character definitely cannot see
• has bosses
• bosses are hard
• has difficulty modes that actually change the game
instead of only making enemies do more damage
• has health potions that you can drink instantly
• combat system is better (its 2d)
• has pixels
• is less ugly than minecraft
• accessories
• reforges
not only do you get a highly polished game stuffed with content and passion that gets even bigger with every """final""" update Re-Logic drops, but, with TModloader, you get another 60 for free
Amazing game. The soundtrack is full of bangers, the boss fights are fun and memorable, all around just a great game, and you can play with friends if you feel like it.
absolutely amazing game, never gets old and if you ever get bored theres countless awesome mods that completely change the game to play. this will forever be one of my favourite games of all time
Terraria is one of those must-have games for anyone! The game starts slow and simple, but progressively ramps up in difficulty and enjoyment the more you play it! Give it some time and Terraria will surely become one of your all-time favorites!
Terraria is one of the most creative and addictive sandbox games ever made. It combines exploration, building, and combat in a 2D world filled with endless possibilities. At first glance, some people might compare it to Minecraft, but Terraria offers a unique experience with its deep progression system, challenging bosses, and rich world-building.
One of the best things about Terraria is its sense of adventure. Players start with basic tools and must gather resources to survive. As they dig deeper underground, they discover valuable ores, hidden treasures, and dangerous enemies. The game constantly rewards exploration, making every new cave or biome exciting to discover. From dark dungeons to glowing mushroom forests, the variety of environments keeps the game fresh.
Combat in Terraria is another highlight. The game has a wide range of weapons, from swords and bows to magic spells and futuristic laser guns. Each weapon feels different, allowing players to develop their own playstyle. The boss fights are especially intense and require skill, strategy, and good equipment. Defeating bosses unlocks new items and materials, pushing players to keep progressing.
Building is also a major part of Terraria. Players can design and customize their own houses, castles, or even entire cities. The game offers hundreds of decorative items, furniture, and blocks to create unique structures. NPCs move into the player’s town as they progress, offering useful items and services. This system makes the world feel alive and encourages players to expand their settlements.
Terraria is a game that never gets boring. With its deep progression, challenging combat, and limitless creativity, it offers something for everyone. Whether playing solo or with friends, the game provides an unforgettable adventure filled with surprises. Even after hundreds of hours, there’s always something new to discover, making it a true masterpiece of the sandbox genre.
