The Dark Occult is a psychological driven horror game that puts players in a constant state of anxiety that crescendos into raw panic and terror. The game takes place in a decaying manor with demonic entities and strong ties to the occult. You will encounter grotesque creatures, who will take your life at any moment. Your only goal -- survive.
In The Dark Occult, players will enter the game exploring a seemingly abandoned house that is consumed with demonic activity. Players are sent to the Atkinson House to investigate unusual happenings surrounding the death of the owner. Upon entering the house, players discover that they are unable to leave and are haunted by an incessant demonic woman who stalks them with murderous intent. Demonic artifacts must be destroyed in order to survive. Players must be hyper-aware of every move, twist and turn, as the woman is always lurking. The Dark Occult fully immerses players in an environment filled with anxiety, panic, and real consequences that scar.

Players will find many moments where their eyes will play tricks on them, causing them to think there’s a creature lurking at the end of the hall when in fact it’s just a side table stacked with items.

Hello :) Glad to see you here. I see you are looking for an opinion on this game.. Okay, spend some time with me and I will tell you about my experience.
It wasn't good. But it wasn't totally bad. I loved atmosphere, but hated bugs and freezes. I enjoyed puzzles, tough moments and I am grateful for this experience, but some tiny mistakes costed me a lot of time to replay. I liked the monsters with their design, ideas and skills, but I was disappointed with the ending. The last thing ruined everything good which the game has. If not for that ending, I'd forgive the game every its flaw. But.. sadly.. I saw that, and I don't like it. But still don;t regret playing and finishing the game.
P.S. Don't pay attention to my whining. Because I don't regret playing it. All hard times, all moments which I passed, everything is worth playing. I wouldn't replay it, though xD But it was good time to spend.

Doesnt work in intel processors dont buy it if u got intel processor i have 17 13th gen processor and rtx 4070 strong enough to run games on ultra but this game cant get past menu screen. Crashes

Atmosphere good, look overall is amazing, BUT!
Once getting an artifact you need to destroy you are not allowed to save anymore, and if you die you have to re-do same thing over and over again if you getting catched, the demon as well just random spawns everywhere and then all suddenly just flying through the walls and kills you.
I don't mind hard games, but this is hard in a verya nnoying way which makes you instead just shut it off and uninstall
Not recommending it unless you hate life and wanna suffer
