Es un juego corto, por lo que está bien su precio y vale la pena. La historia se entiende mejor si se leen todas las entradas de diario, lo que no es muy probable para todos los jugadores, así que es una historia algo oculta hasta cierto punto.
Los últimos dos capítulos son bien complicados, sobre todo el último, la sección de Daimonion, que es extremadamente difícil. La verdad que se pasó con eso, porque llegó al punto de ser frustrante. Me quedé horas ahí, la mitad de mi tiempo de juego es sólo en ese maldito nivel jajaja. Qué bueno que el creador (Estéfano Palacios) puso un video en Steam de cómo completarlo.
El final fue algo abrupto porque sólo sucedió lo que ya se esperaba desde un inicio, y listo. Me quedé como: "¿Y ya?". Pero bueno. Peor fue el Reaper Ending que literalmente te borra el juego y ya. Sin cinemática ni nada, excepto un escrito que te da contexto.
El juego te lo terminas en un fin de semana. Si te ves el video de Estéfano de cómo pasar Dominion (míralo, en serio, ni te molestes en tratar de pasarlo por tu cuenta), lo acabas en un día, sobre todo si no lees las entradas de diario antiguas. Yo me las leí todas.
El contexto del juego como tal es obvio que es la mente de Estéfano con alteraciones para adaptarlo al personaje de Harm. Es a través de las entradas de diario que puedes entrar en su mente y entender que Harm es como un alter ego de sí mismo.
Me hubiera gustado una curva de dificultad más balanceada y más duración de juego. Porque los nieveles se ponen más difíciles muy rápido y de pronto se termina. Por lo que en el mismo día pasas de una dificultad para niños a una bien hardcore.
Igual, buen trabajo al equipo de Freaky Creations, y buen trabajo Estéfano.

Promising game ruined by an abrupt difficulty spike. Goes from no difficulty to bs in the span of half a chapter.
"To Leave" somehow is both a hardcore platformer and a deep, artistic game dealing with subjects like depression and drug abuse.
That weird mix is probably the reason why this game is criminally underrated, it's very niche.
It is a very difficult 2D platform game with a very interesting story. It becomes addictive at certain times and the good music of the game is great. I'm definitely enjoying it. I played it on PS4 and I hope that in the future it will be found on Nintendo Switch
I never hit into any other game that makes me appreciate every single detail of it. The backgrounds, the music (oh boy, that music...), the level design, gameplay, anyway... a lot of details everywhere.
It's true that this game can be challenging (or pretty hard, depending on how you're into this kind of games) but the satisfaction you can get after overcoming those challenges is priceless.
I followed this game since the development stages and I know the hard work it was to complete it.
Look man, if u're looking for a game with unique story and art. Go buy this game! but you have to remember that in this game, your main enemy is the control and the level design (?). At first, it's just another cool looking game with unique gameplay. But after a while, when you finally reach some level, the game is just starting to become harder n harder. Well, not in a way that challenging harder, but in a not enjoyable harder. Atleast, that's what i felt.

It took me a while to write this review, because the game story and elements are so deep, impactating. I`ve kept thinking about my own life and myself after exploring the notations in the room and looking the stages challenges. This game is amazing. It is not only a hardcore challenge: it`s a a lesson that teaches you how to power drive your own objectives about everything.
Nothing I'd like more than to recommend To Leave, but if you'll follow these links, you'll see just how disinterested the developers are, despite every attempt (again and again) to let them make things right.

It's a very very bad game. I don't know why I buy it, because I can tell many faults about this game.
1 the story is no sense, nobody care the story because the mails are full of bullshit
2 the ending is odd, the whole game doesn't even tell a whole story
3 too many frustrating, no sense of achievement thought I already complete the game.
4 not any hint in the game, very terrible control
5 ugly art and graphic
6 lot of bugs, for example , you can select any chapter which is after content 13
7 too long beginning and you cannot skip it. fuck it
I don't know who give so many good comments, but this game doesn't deserve it.
Imagine playing Super Meat Boy, but instead of a speedy platforming hero you're controlling a hot air balloon attached to a set of dumbbells. Now imagine every single platform is moving apart and away from you at the same time, and their speed, acceleration, momentum and rest position all seem random. Now imagine that the layout of the level is slightly different each time you start from a checkpoint instead of resetting. It's a shame- I wanted to like this game, to see where the story was going, but there's no excuse for bad, imprecise controls in a game where you die in one hit.

Disclaimer: I've followed this game's development from its inception to launch.
As someone who's seen this idea evolve and as someone who's been lucky enough to meet several indies, I do not consider To Leave to be a video game, in the strict sense of the word. To Leave is a new approach to literature and digital painting, where an interactive component of the experience involves difficult challenges with a controller input.
The game is morally complex, and the start of the experience involves a hefty amount of lore and reading. It is designed to be cathartic, and so its difficulty, its art, characters, and challenge curve are all intended. For the player expecting a platformer, this will feel like a confusing tapestry of artwork where Harm serves as a twisted vehicle to empathize with many a dark self-reflection. However, it is also a story of purification and self-discovery. Players who enjoy literature will find more than one page in Harm's Journal an inspiration to overcome inertia.
Of course, many a player may not be emotionally ready for its level of difficulty or lyrical narration. Many might rage quit. For those players, remember this is an indie game, a creative hypothesis. Remember it's designed to be beatable, albeit with hard effort.
This is a breed of a game with vast depth and care that gamers may not find in several years. A step towards new creative horizons.
Congrats, Freaky Creations, I hope many find and complete this game, and I hope those who complete it find themselves restored.
Hopefully, To Leave will one day make it to other distribution platforms, so the more mature players can appreciate this medium as a means to spiritual nourishment.

A little bit slow at the intro, but things go more exciting along the way. The levels increase difficulty even if im "manco". Everyone should give it a try cause the art on the game was like an abstrac art <3
Hardcore Old School difficult game with deep deep story and a fucking amazing soundtrack, tripy as hell.
To Leave is a thoughtful, beautiful, and well-made game. I love the story, and I've enjoyed learning about the main character, Harm. I was triggered by the preface, but not necessarily in a negative way. I just felt a lot of sympathy for him which got me hooked. Apart from the narrative and storyline, the art/graphic design, effects, and music complemented each other amazingly- making it a work of art. For me, To Leave has been challenging but very addicting and entertaining, I can't wait to see how the game will unfold.
Definitely worth playing it!
BUGGED ON THE LAST LEVEL, HAVENT UPDATED SINCE LAUNCH
ENGLISH: To Leave is a great game so far, even though I haven't beated it yet. I guarantee it's gonna be fun and addictive
Pros:
- The game's narrative is really interesting, it mixes realistic and human elements in a fantastic and sicodelic evironment. Narrative-driven games are my favorite gender!
- The music is gorgeous!
- The special effects, backgrounds and colors make everything pop from the screen!
- It's very addictive.
Cons:
- The opening animation is rough compared to Harm's in-game or state machine animations.
- The user interface is also rough and sometimes you can see the textboxes' vector divisions.
- The difficulty curve raises suddenly. The first half of the game is basically story and a little bit of gameplay, after that, there is more gameplay and it becomes difficult because there were no previous levels where you could practice the game mechanics.
SPANISH: To Leave es un juego genial hasta ahora, a pesar de que aun no lo he terminado. Pero puedo garantizar que va a ser divertido y enganchante!
Pros:
- La narrativa del juego es bastante interesante, mezcla elementos reales y humanos en un ambiente fantástico y sicodélico. Los narrative-driven games son mi género favorito!
- La música es perfecta! Está muy bien ambientada
- Los efectos especiales, los fondos y los colores hacen que el estilo del juego sea muy llamativo
- El juego es bastante adictivo
Cons:
- La animación del inicio es demasiado tosca comparada con las animaciones in-game o las máquinas de estado de Harm.
- La interfaz del juego también es tosca y en ocasiones se ven incluso las divisiones de vectores de las cajas de texto.
- La curva de dificultad del juego crece muy bruscamente. La primea mitad del juego es historia y poco gameplay, pero después hay más gameplay y se vuelve dificíl ya que no hubo niveles anteriores que te permitan practicar las mecánicas de juego.
SPANISH VERSION
Aún no completo el juego en su totalidad pero estoy fascinada con lo que me ha mostrado hasta el momento.
El arte y diseño gráfico de To Leave es lo primero que me cautivó. La musica por su parte, te envuelve y acopla perfectamente a cada escena. Es muy gratificante observar un trabajo de tan buena calidad artística realizada por talento ecuatoriano.
Con respecto al juego de la puerta, lo que al principio parecía sencillo, luego se torna un poco frustrante por la dificultad del juego a medida que avanzo a los siguientes niveles.
Leer los journals de Harm para mí son esenciales ya que logran engancharte con la historia, conocer más de su mundo, su mente y sentir empatía por el personaje principal.
¡Definitivamente vale la pena jugarlo!

I am still playing the game (haven't finished it yet), but I am fascinated with what it has shown me so far.
The art and graphic design of To Leave is the first thing that captivated me. The music, is a great work on its own too.It is very gratifying to see a work of such artistic quality done by
Ecuadorians. There's a lot of talent and potential.
Regarding the door game, what at first seemed simple soon became a little frustrating because of the difficulty of the game as I move forward to the next levels. It is tough.
Harm's journals are a must read for me because they enable you to get hooked to the story, to learn more about his world, his thoughts and to feel empathy for the main character.
Totally worth playing!
A refreshing gem that will test your patience. To leave is a charming journey that will put a smile on you; the pleasant graphics, astonishing soundtrack, and on-point platform dificulty are ingredients that enrich the experience of playing this game. the story may seem confusing at first but it presents you with certain details that gives a small glance about the emotional state that someone like Harm (To leave's protagonist) is facing in life. This truly is a game worth playing
