Identify a state based on how its borders are shaped. The tricky part is that there's no location or size reference.

'Nicknames' quiz
Having a nickname is an important feature of each U.S. state. Can you name them all?
'Flags' quiz
Think of a state flag as a picture of its main symbols and you'll have no problem with this quiz.

This game brought me back to United States history class. I think I should play this game every so often for some much needed review. I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking to be quizzed on their knowledge of the 50 states.
Perfect Game #4, The 50 States Quiz. A fun little educational game to test your knowledge on the U.S. Not much wrong with it, but it's nothing too special. Not bad for the price, but you could find the same thing online for free. If you're into quiz-styled games or even if you just want to test your knowledge in a game-like format then this is perfect for you.
I enjoyed this game for the express reason of living in the United States and the irony that most Americans would fail this without help.
This is much more effective than trying to study a piece of paper. I recommend this quiz.

Decent quiz game. Simple enough if you know your stuff.
Not the most interesting and exciting gameplay but that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to dominate at trivia and watch the light of hope (also Rhode Island's motto) die from my enemies eyes and if ever the topic of America comes up I'll be prepared. Honestly at this point I probably know more about the geography of America than most Americans do.
Sure you could look up a bunch of free quizzes that test the same subjects online but there are a few benefits this game has over majority of internet quizzes which make it worth the little money it costs:
- The simple but high quality graphics make it really easy to see the details in the map and the state flags
- The layout is really easy to read and navigate around
- Instant feedback on questions allow you to memorise the correct answers quicker
- At the end of each quiz you can easily see which states you got correct/incorrect and how you have improved
- There's a helpful summary page where you can click each state and see all it's details - it's name, capital city, nickname, motto, and flag. I particularly like how hovering over Hawaii and Alaska show you where they're actually located in relation to America
- Everything is in one application - no need to search around for different quizzes for the different topics
Additions I would like to see:
- A more challenging mode without the multiple choice option where users have to type the correct answer in
- Ability to turn on/off instant feedback so if you get an answer wrong you can try again until you get it right
- The option in mottos to be able to translate mottos into English before choosing an answer
Overall, if you're willing to pay the very low price this game is definitely worth it over internet quizzes which either are frustrating to navigate or hard to read (or both).
The best way to describe this masterpiece is just truly breathtaking. While playing this game, it opened my eyes to the cultures and diversity between each and every state. Not only do I ace every geography quiz, but I now get all of the girls at my geoguesser club. They all think I'm the man. I know every single flag, capital, state, motto, and more! This game has changed my life entirely. I went from a little boy squeezing lemons to a multi-hundredaire small business owner who sells books. The head of the geoguesser club, who I plan to make my wife, said that she thinks I'm very hot. I could even go as far as saying it's almost as good as the game "Yogurt!" which I've played for hours on my alternate account. I want to personally thank everyone who made this game. You have forever changed my life and I won't forget that. When I become rich (not if), I will be donating half of my money to the people who made this game. Have a good life everyone, find your zen PEACE PEACE PEACE. I flipping hate Scotland.
Great game to learn fast, it's really helped me for my geography on america and helps in quizzes aswell! You could learn all 50 states in under 30 minutes.

I have known the exact location of each state by playing this game. Every time I choose the wrong state, the color of the state will become red. Actually, I have made a lot of mistakes. But now, I can make right choice about every state. So I strongly recommend this game!
A quiz game about various attributes of the 50 states of the U.S.A. Simple as that. A good refresher on things you may/may not remember and learning tool for those you don't know at all. Patience is key to get all 50 answers for each category right for the Achievements.

This is a fun game if you're into geography and U.S history like I am. Its cool to compete against your friends to see who can do better.

If you need to study for a geography quiz maybe get this- a few years ago this was a good tool but now you can find pretty much the same thing elsewhere on the internet for free
A fun little edutainment game that parents can use to teach kids the geography of the United States while adults like me can use it to realize just how little they really know about their own country.
A really well-made game, great for educating yourself and learning geography in a fun way is always a pleasure.
I like graphic style and peaceful atmosphere of the game and locate states on the map and finding shapes was really fun. However as a non-american, other quizzes (Capitals, Flags, Mottos and Nicknames) were not very interesting to me.
A well-rounded quiz to test your US geography, state mottos, capitals, and nicknames!
I recommend it; and I hope the creator makes other games like this!
