не плохой симулятор вождения автомобиля с многими фишками но некоторые действия не очень реалистичны как пример система торможения но это практически не заметно а так игру советую попробовать.
забыл еще кое что за что можно дать жырный плюс это мастерская где просто нажимаешь на кнопку подписатся и мод сам скачивается как итог 10/110
Unfortunately, this is a really unfinished game. It may have potential, but given the fact that it is only compatible with quite old Thrustmaster wheels. I have a 300RS and it doesn't recognize most of the buttons. Can't even start the car's engine. Even after fiddling with the controls.
City Car Driving, oh boy, where do I even start? This game is the ultimate joke of the driving simulator world. I mean, I've seen some rough games in my time, but this one takes the cake.
First off, the graphics are straight out of the 90s. I mean, I've seen better visuals on my old Nokia brick phone. The cars look like they were made out of play-doh and the environments are about as detailed as a kindergarten drawing.
And don't even get me started on the physics. It's like the developers never even heard of the laws of motion. Cars clip through buildings, fly off ramps like they're in a stunt show, and spin out of control for no reason. It's like driving on an ice rink, but with added explosions and flaming tires.
The sound design is a joke too. The engines sound like a bunch of dying cats, and the collision sounds are so over the top that they're just comical. I mean, who needs realistic sound effects when you can have cars exploding like they're in a Michael Bay movie?
And the AI? Don't even get me started. The other drivers are either braindead or suicidal. They'll stop dead in the middle of the road, drive the wrong way down a one-way street, and even crash into you on purpose. It's like they're all out to get you, which I guess would be kind of fun if it wasn't so frustrating.
But despite all of its flaws, I can't help but love City Car Driving. It's so bad that it's good. It's the perfect game to play when you just want to laugh at how terrible it is. So if you're looking for a game that will make you question your sanity, then City Car Driving is the game for you. Just don't expect to actually improve your driving skills, because this game is about as far from realistic as you can get.

The left-hand-drive sedan is seriously bugged. You start it, put it in drive, and when you press the gas pedal on a logitech G29 it does not move. I tried the right hand drive sedan and it worked fine, but I need to instruct someone on the basics of driving in the USA with an automatic transmission. There is no working vehicle in the game to do this.
Another user ran into the same issue and the devs responded that the game works fine with the G29. They should have asked "which vehicle" and looked into it.
Fun game, but you need a Steering Wheel, Pedals and Shifter to get the full potential.
I have the Logitech G920 and it works perfect with the game itself, but some of the Workshop Cars are really buggy.

All in all, it's 4 stars from me.
Game does not allow me to change keybinds whatsoever. Even when I try to use the set keybinds, they do not work. My car is stuck in park because the buttons on my keyboard do nothing. I played this with a Logitech G29 and did not have a great time. I refund very few games but I refunded this one due to its overall lack of functionality. Would not recommend.
I like the instructions and all the violation messages, but it is quite far away from being a simulator. To call this a "realistic car driving simulator" is an offense to a actual simulators.
I do not recommend this.
You do better with other simulator like ACC or ETS2.
About the driving rules, you can learn them cheaper that this.
Quite unfortunate that the driving experience in this game is so bad.
I love this game but the city test sucks cheeks like why do amber lights count as red like i cant stop immediately when it turns amber while im about to cross an intersection like wth :(

Pretty disappointing. An unfinished and janky mess and instead of finishing it they charged for this game and started making a "sequel" which I'll likely have to pay for again. I really don't recommend this game unless the second game comes out and it proves to be worse than this game or if you're buying it when it's on sale.

The most realistic city driving experience with proper road rules, traffic lights and signs.
You can drive either left or right hand side.
Awful game. Awful graphics, awful UI, awful controls. Just garbage. Don't spend your time and money on it.
Unplayable when using Logitech G923 on laptop. I've read the warning, risked buying it and tried playing it. It was smooth as butter when playing on keyboard, thought everything will be compatible and no issue arising. But everything stutters when I am steering using the steering wheel. Such a weird case, everything -- and I mean everything works, but when I start steering the wheel, it starts freezing until I stop steering. Just the steering wheel -- pressing the pedals or shifting the gears isn't affecting it.

If you just want to get a feel for how cars handle, play Beam instead
this game is trash. with my steering wheel this trash game doesnt work.

jank controls, had to hold the 'engine on/off' button to accelerate my car. my wheel should be supported but controls are terrible.
This game taught me driving like a jackass is ok, as long as you use the turn signal 🍕
EDIT: so you have to be in the game to change the steering wheel settings. i had to start driving them went into setting to configure the setting for my steering wheel. so far its a great game
Very uniqe but only thing is they should update the setup config because only a few gaming setups (steering wheel setups) are in the game.
Buggy, confusing and frustrating. Tutorials are unclear and punishing, restarting all of your progress for leaving un-highleted designated driving area by a millimeter. Why is constant engine stalling even a feature? Game could have benefited from some polish and retooling before being released. I really wanted a good driving sim too, so I went into this wanting to like it.
I bought this to use in VR specifically. I don't really plan to do a driver's test, but I thought it'd be fun to have some experience, even if virtual.
I have never been motion sick from VR before. Even in other games where you're constantly jumping, using jetpacks, being flung around, driving at high speeds, etc., I've never been motion sick. Within the first 20 minutes of playing this game, I started to get motion sick. I stopped after an hour and I'm still dizzy while writing this. The entire world distorts as you look around, the height constantly changes, your vision constantly jitters around when you try to look at something, and I got constant stutters. I've never seen a VR implementation done so poorly before. You also have to keep coming out of VR to click through menus, so you're constantly adjusting between normal perspective and distorted perspective. It's like someone tried to design a motion sickness simulator.
As for gameplay, it's very strict. I can deal with a challenge and I was totally up to it, but there's so many issues that make it infuriating:
* Constant stutters causing me to crash
* My car being "over the line" when I can poke my head around and see that it's not
* The accelerator just not working when I restart, meaning I need to restart again, sometimes this happens multiple times in a row
* The little routine of seatbelt, engine, handbrake, light, move into drive is very cute, but if you do this too fast, or change the order, there's a chance something breaks or isn't registered
* Getting gradually taller every time I restart, for whatever reason
I assume there's better games out there, I'm not really a car person so I don't know. If this is truly the best out there, then I feel sorry for anyone who's into this.
sry the controlls are so terribel done tha ti refund this..a reacinbg&driving game should by standart that the wheels like logitech g920 are neotu too controll the gam eoptions etc and not tha ti have too use keyboard6mouse and also the wheell this is no go..i have no interest too stay 2 hours on the option menu too handle all controlls hu should by standart by recoonisation the wheel as main control...i must say see this i really must rethink buying city car 2 shure i dotn gona buy it oon release after see this here,
Career mode is more punishing than an Elden Ring boss. One little mistake and boom! Right back to the beginning. Even if you don’t make a mistake the game will say you went outside of the lines when you’re clearly within them and force you to restart needlessly. Got annoying very fast.
You also have to manually setup the Logitech G923 but force feedback didn’t work at all. Sad because I heard great things about this game but I can’t recommend it.
Very good game to learn how to drive in, many many mods to choose from.

This game sucks, it doesn't work well, the settings are rohan IQ aka 3 total IQ, the graphics suck, the gui sucks, everything about this game sucks, make sure to get this game, and put it in the dump.
It's alright if you get it on sale. It's nowhere near being the best driving sim. One of my biggest problems with this is, that its too strict. Like for example, a 20kmh zone starts, ill start slowing down but i fail instantly when i enter that zone because i drove slightly over 20. Or it says go left - i go left. Fail. Why? It wanted me to go the other left (theres a big intersection with two possible left turns) and so on. Incredibly annoying.
DO NOT BUY. THIS GAME SCAMMES YOU. IN ORDER TO PLAY FREEDRIVE U MUST DO SOME LESSONS. THE GAMPLY IS DRY AND THEY WONT GIVE ME MY REFUND. I still play it though just to chill

This game was not what i expected. It was really unrealistic and when i turned i needed to hit 180 degrees of rotation for it to start turning. So i refunded it.
