This game is amazing. There are literally millions of planets and galaxies to choose from. If you're a big space fan this game is truly for you.
As a Space and Science lover. This game was perfect for me. The best part was I could mess with the numbers and see how they would pan out in real space.

It's really, really cool and worth the money even though it is just an exploration game.
I got this game because I liked space, I then traveled across the entire universe, found life on planets generated by an unreal engine AI, used mods to go past the observable universe, escaped the matrix (just hold G and U can travel 16 million light years in 3 seconds) and I finally decided to get t he Earth HD mod, I can now see my exact location in real life on earth in this game at 1600 Pen. Ave, Washington DC, United States of Democratic and/or Republican or possibly dicatatored America, Postal code 20500. I am now thinking about spending my final 70$ which was saved up for my stage 3A lung cancer on Space Engine Pro. I have played this for seven hours and eaten 15g of uranium to try and stop the suffering and contracted multiple unknown southern-african diseases.

This isn't really a game - it's more a like a "ooh, lets make some pretty desktop wallpaper" application. There's a lot that's based in real science, though. You can turn off the procedurally-generated stuff and show only what we know to exist, both in stars and planets. Or you can leave everything on and fly across the universe to completely made-up galaxies in an instant. Very nice if you've every had an interest in leaving our messed-up planet for good.
really cool game. they should add more/better physical features when landing on planets; rocks that stand out, realistic terrain textures, improved water, etc...
good graphics, stars & plants info but ships control is so weird
its pretty good. it basically has all of space in it. but there is something about it thats worth mentioning. there is a bug where if you search up a planet and hit "go to" it just wont work for me. and i dont know why? please fix this bug (and if you wanna get this to explore planets i would wait a bit)

This game has controls very easy to access, and when you get used to it the controls are really easy to learn and play. The game also has beautiful graphics and it does a good job simulating what it would be like to stand on all of the many planets you can see. 10/10 recommended
This is game is amazing if you're a space lover! And just like to mess around or explore, it is heavy on your computer depending on graphics settings but it's totally worth it to crank it up in this game all the visuals are just incredible. While there's goal to the game currently I don't seem to mind it it's just something chilling to zoom out and see the vastness of space and just explore around or explore around with community created ships. This developer is truely awesome too I highly recommend to support them. Fun fact there's so many generated and real objects in the universe that no one person will ever "Beat" the game as it's impossible to explore every last planet and star so it's truely in a way a 1:1 scale of the universe in it's own right although obviously not accurate since there's literally no way to get HD data out there lol. Anyways I would recommend checking out this game if you love space! It probably has the best visuals of any space game out there.
The Most Realistic Space Graphics I've Seen In My Whole Life, Made Me Forget Reality.

the game is good and fun to play, but its worth noting that with how it says it can run in intel integrated graphics, it can, but only on an older build. not a problem for me anymore as ive upgraded my computer and its still good even with integrated graphics but it just looks a bit less interesting and surfaces took forever to load, as to be expected though. (also i say it says it can run with intel integrated graphics but i havent looked at the requirements since i got the game i just remembered that, it might be changed now.)
Best Universe Simulator, i use it for research and also for fun, buy it if you love astrophysics!
The entire universe at your fingertips with stunning detail! There's plenty of interesting and odd sites to see. Can be a bit quirky at times with the procedural generation, but not too bad. Depending on your graphics, this game/sim can make you yearn for the stars.
Game is fun to explore the universe in, but has a few draw backs. It likes to crash sometimes and the flying is complicated. Other than that it's really cool, but could use extra variety in the exoplanets and moons. Would recommend you get it at preferably at a discount, but full price is nothing too hard to chock down with the amount it give you.

A good thing to add would be destruction but that will take like 800 NASA computers so its fine if you don't Lol
The solar system is bugged right now with planet texture won't load. Not recommend until it is fixed.
PS: Not only solar system, but other star systems also having the issue randomly. Black stars, blur texture planets, etc. The only fix is restart the game for texture to load properly, then it happen again, and again...
I just love it. Id like to see them continue to improve it. I wish the spaceship control was better. I haven't been able to figure it out very good yet. It needs to be simpler, more user friendly. I love the camera. I share my pics allot with explanations.

I haven't been using the Space Engine for many hours, but everytime I have been using it, I was very happy with the performance, and accuracy. For anyone interested in astronomy, the Space Engine is a worthy, practical and fun tool to explore space. It's also impressively up-to-date when it comes to incorporating recent observations in astronomy.
I like how it presents the gravitational lensing effect.
And the HDR mode working so well
this game is pretty cool its just the whole universe and you can explore it.
This game is VERY interesting, and in depth, definitely something you should dig into if you're interested in space travel and learning about the universe! :)
While I never have the time to play this anymore I always distinctly remember my first time playing. I booted up the game in VR, went to the moon's surface, and landed in one of the craters while facing the direction of the sun. I then spend the next 30 minutes walking up the side of the crater at walking speed taking in the breathless view as I slowly climbed up the edge to see a beautiful reveal of the sun as I crept up the side of the crater. It's an absolutely wonderful piece of software to experiment with and it shows you just how small we are in the grand scheme of existence and life itself.
Other than goofy river generation into oceans, this game is actually beatiful. no words can describe it. i went in VR on a ecslipe without sunglasses. i really want you to try this game. its just beatiful
This is not really a game. It is a simulation of the entire observable universe that you can explore. On a 2d flat screen it is impressive but if you want to make extremely realistic try it in VR. Your mind will be blown and nothing will ever be the same again. Traveling from from galaxy to galaxy to search for planets with life or other beautiful features is sublime. Whoever created this software is a hero because there is nothing else out there that comes close to Space Engine.
Amazing game! Incredible models of real-life objects and the procedurally-generated objects are almost just as good! It is so surreal to just fly into random galaxies and then see the beautiful planets it has to offer! Just mesmerising graphics even with a core GPU it probably still plays just as good! I would rate this game an 8.7/10 as there is a few minor bugs, but that doesn't affect gameplay too much.
This is a true simulation. It has everything including oval shaped suns, billions and billions of galaxies, of which you can view any sun, any planet within each solar system.
You can speed up time and watch binary stars orbit each other.
Really really cool and realistic and would recommend to play, only $30.00 or something.
I highly recommend SpaceEngine! SpaceEngine got me into exploring our universe. A better use of your time than first person shooters!
Love space engine so much I was in a community for years called the "space engine wiki." At first, we would find planets and write about what kinds of people could live on them, but as time went on, we started focusing more on the people.
The wiki's new name is amaranth legacy and I still use space engine for the images of the worlds I write about. So yeah, thanks space engine for letting us create a community of world builders and writers!

This game lets us explore space and everything around us in a massive scale. It is a huge game if you think about it. You can travel the stars, planets, galaxies, and the end of the universe, etc. Its a cool game to explore on.

Anyone interested in Space Engine should keep in mind this one fact: This is NOT a game, it is a universe rendering software and planetarium. The whole point of the application is to either: A. Explore high resolution real and randomly-generated deep-space structures for fun, or B. Use this software for photography and/or cinematography of deep space. Regardless, if you have a deep passion for astronomy in any capacity, this is something you should consider picking up, because Space Engine is (to my knowledge) the only publicly available 1:1-scale simulation of the universe.

Would I recommend this "game" to other players? No.
Not just to other players. I would recommend it to all humans. And not just to all humans, but also to all the politicians in the world. This amazing voyage through the Universe has the power to bring people back to Earth from their high horses and restore their lost humility.
We humans will most certainly never physically land on any planet outside our solar system, but with this masterpiece, Vladimir Romanyuk has given us a wonderful tool to do so, at least in our daydreaming. Thank you so much, and thank you for your altruism. This creation of yours is worth far more than the price it’s sold for.
