REALISTIC COMBAT SYSTEM - MOVE YOUR BODY TO FIGHT AND FIND COVER
Handle, aim and reload your weapons with real-life movements! We modeled the in-game weapons based on their real-life counterparts paying extreme attention to detail. Each weapon has its unique reloading method that you have to learn and practice to fully master them.
If you fancy explosions, just grab a grenade and throw it at the enemy. After you pulled the pin of course.
Stay in the open for too long and you’re dead. Try to find cover instead, duck, crouch, sneak, peek around a corner, clear obstacles with real-life movements. Military combat isn’t all about shooting. Being aware of your surroundings, the terrain, and working together with your squadmates are all part of a successful mission. Don’t let your fellow soldiers down!
REALISTIC WEAPONS - CUSTOMIZE YOUR FAVOURITE GUN
Everyone has a unique playstyle. Is accuracy your thing? Put a laser sight on your assault rifle and take accurate shots in semi-automatic mode, or just grab a sniper rifle. Are you more of a shoot first, ask later type of person? Take a shotgun, or dual wield your machine guns in fully automatic firing mode. Be careful though, recoil can make your job really difficult! Combine your favourite gun with your favourite attachments on-the-fly to find out which variation suits you the most!

Water is life. Someone should’ve made that clear before humanity started poisoning Earth with microplastics. Now water is death. People are fighting for drinkable water, for survival.
The military tried their best to keep order, but inevitably they got overwhelmed. That’s when mercenaries appeared.. then entire private armies.. and then when hope started to fade away came the religious cults. The most fearsome of all is a secretive organization worshipping Tlaloc, the aztec God of rain. The “Tlalokii”, as they call themselves. Their motto? “Join us or perish”. What is even worse, they know something that can change the fate of humanity.

hard time working
Frustrating controls. Meh gameplay. There are many better options. I am an active Pavlov player for years and it still remains one of the easiest to approach games and now with Contractors Showdown I don't expect to return to this game ever again.

its a good game i just expected it to be different from quest version and it isnt really
This game is not of high quality, but it's a fun arcady military shooter. I enjoyed my time with the game despite it's lack of polish. The guns feel good, the graphics are okay enough, the enemies are a bit dumb but sometimes in a amusing way and the story is bad but doesn't take too much space in the experience. If you get a good discount and only pay 6-10 euros/dollars, there is a good chance you'll find the game worth your money and time. Alternatively you can just wait for the sequel which will be undoubtedly better in every aspect.
Its not the best vr game but its alright, the graphics are pretty good for the time and the story is not the best but its good for what it is. I would give it a 6/10

Game is overall enjoyable. Radio sounds are super low making it hard to hear the story at times which means subtitles are an absolute must. Games been abandoned since October of 2023 so I genuinely don't believe it to be something worth a purchase in today's VR world. If you do purchase it, don't expected anything but a short, discontinued story, some janky controls, and no more support for PCVR. If you are gonna buy, please wait for a sale.
Peak weapon customization
It's a bit difficult, but when you're on a roll, man is it fun. Tones of realistic weapons, cool reload mechanic (even if sometimes cumbersome and leads to you dying). Really need to play like real life - slow and meticulous. One of the better FPS shooters on VR I've played. Played on a Quest 2 and Steam VR
This game has been abandoned to develop the sequel, it has a store page if you wanted to wishlist it. No idea on release, but ZC2's description says 2024 and it's Dec of 2024 with no date set for release.

My mag eject button opens the wrist mounted pause menu, which conveniently does not pause, but it stops me from interacting all together. I have to work around that to reload.
No way to change that in the options and it's not getting updated, so yay... fortnite/10.

no content and extremely dead which is a shame because its well made and can be really fun. just not worth buying at the moment
One of the best VR call of duty types out there but I can't recommend it in its current state. It's broken, the online state is dead, and the compatibility issues with Virtual Desktop and Quest 3 makes it a chore to troubleshoot issues without mouse and keyboard. Pass unless it's on sale.

I honestly cannot believe that they thought it was a good idea to give new players short ranged scopes and super long maps as first missions, It isnt that fun shooting 1 tiny pixel with a gun that recoils like my arm is broken while they shoot me across the map with an mp5 with the biggest most janky scope physically imaginable
*A small but important edit*
The mid/endgame feels like they should be the earlygame, including very close range, and less overwhelming areas, but this could also be feeling wrong because I've only played the quest version until now, which has much smaller missions.
Its a decent game, and it got me into VR for a bit, but it isn't compatible with the Quest 3, I got stuck on a mission and couldn't leave because of the way the menus were set up
I decided to purchase this as it was on sale. This is an older VR title, so the graphics are quite bland. However, the gun handling, gameplay and audio is very well done. I hope Zero Caliber 2 gets released on pcvr, and that it’s a step up in graphical fidelity. This is the closest thing we have to a cod campaign in VR.

this game is just good
This is a fun shooter. I played the entire campaign and even on "easy" it can be quite challenging at times.
Lots of different weapon combos and attachments. Looking forward to any updates that are made to this game
It works really well as long as you keep yourself facing forward.
The game is dead. less than 10 people online and you'll be playing mostly with bots. What a shame... I really like the gunplay in this game. Single mod is OK, but get's really boring as AI is dull and it feels more like shooting targets
Its the best one for single player CoD style gameplay so far. Competitors feel less complete. Wish they were still updating.

Is fun but for me it has screen tear and is very laggy and dont know how to fix. Might be different for others.

it's good, but all I would say that would be nice imo (for now in solo campaign) is a better ally AI or just no gun collision with them since they get in the way more than 2-4 years ago and they take our guns with them if they walk to close (I just started playing again yesterday and it already kinda annoys me, mainly on veteran)

10/10 i normally hate a lot of vr shooting games but this scratches an itch for me.
This game had some real potential. Sadly, it will never reach that potential since the devs think this is done. They are working on a follow-up when this game hardly feels done.
I'll give them credit, the guns feel good and are really fun to customize. But thats about all thats unique here. The story is mediocre at best and missions feel long and draining since it is a VR title. Spending almost 30 minutes on some missions with pretty much non stop combat will drain you. Especially because the visuals are insanely lacking. The store Screenshots are nothing like the actual game. The actual game looks much worse. I cannot speak on the online parts because I never played them, but the singleplayer elements are just underbaked. If they spent another year of development reworking the story and the missions along with making the visuals nicer to look at, this game could have been good. Right now its incredibly mid.
There are better options out there, and if you really like the look of this game for some reason just wait for the next game. No point in getting this one since the next game seems to be very similar.

One of my favorite VR games and the only co-op game I really enjoyed. I spent a lot of time playing it during the pandemic and lockdown... What a time that was.
It's a good game, it just won't open anymore. It crashes every time I try and launch it. And I don't use ASUS, i've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, verifying the game files etc. I've looked up troubleshooting methods but none of them have worked at all.
