works on my play station, but recently can't even boot up due to memory error on two different high end PC's. do not buy this garbage. if you want to play it, play it on console where you can actually play the game.

Multiplayer filled with RCE exploits and malware avoid. Singleplayer is good.

Worked fine the first time i played, Got past "charlie don't surf" and then it refused to load, have done most of the normal fixes for it (drives up to date, verify files etc) but it still will not load. I do not get any error messages and my system can run this game. It should not be this much of a hassle to play the game, under discussions i can see issue after issue. Complete waste of time guys.

Plays great and was able to complete the singleplayer campaign on Steam Deck.

Its one of my favorite games but FUCK ACTIVISION!

The FOV is trash like SKYRIM. Until this is fixed its a no for me.

IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUE WITH THE GAME CRASHING ON “BOG” MISSION; be sure to turn off pre loading textures or something along those lines in advanced graphics settings I believe, the game works afterwards and shouldn’t have been a problem this long after they released it or even on release, but incompetent developers are a common plague, otherwise this is a really fun remaster with lots of smaller and neat additional details that range from new animations to new voice lines and of course cleaner visuals. Would recommend I think people don’t like it because they didn’t want to take the time to look up how to fix the issue with the game crashing and take 4 seconds to change a single niche setting option. My only complaint is it doesn’t comply with a ps5 remote unfortunately but otherwise a great remaster for a legendary game.

Played the single player campaign without crashes. RTX 4060 TI and i5 14600k

Like others have said the game crashes constantly. Mine will not proceed past the second Marine's mission.

Seriously though this game completely changed the Call of Duty franchise when it came out in 2007 the least Activision could do is make the damn servers secure enough to relive this classic to the fullest.

17 years legendary game

Had to do 3 different work arounds to get this game to run properly. Multiplayer is completely dead. Searching right now on a saturday night at 7:46 classic TDM only can find 3 players, match wont even start.

wont run on my PC anymore. keep getting DirectX error and nothing seems to fix it.

Game constantly crashed, despite my best efforts. Oh well, at least I have the OG :)

Modern Warfare Remastered is a timeless classic. It was a joy to replay this game again and get every achievement.

Campaign has better fine tuned IA spawn so it is less frustrating.

Remaster Keeps crashing after third mission, for a forty dollar game, as everyone is saying, this is insane that this product was even allowed to be released in its current condition.

This game will not boot until you download a battle.net version config file from online.
There was going to be an MP mod with MW2 (not to be confused with MWII) maps but assholes DMCA-ed it. You can still get it somewhere though

After 100% this game i can finally give this game a review. A review for ONE OF THE DUMBEST 100% TO GET! WHATEVER DEMON MADE THE MILE HIGH MISSION IS A MONSTER! HOURS OF MY PLAYTIME ARE DEDICATED TO THAT ONE MISSION. THIS VERISON IS BUGGY AS HELL AND AS FRUSTRATING AS I REMEBER. Thank you Call of Duty for the lovely painful memories.

This 'remaster' is very crashy and takes forever to load, just like the rest of this series. This game used to be great! Now it's money grabbing trash.

Great remaster! The original is cheaper and, well, the same game, but I'd recommend this alone because the achievements and multiplayer (Even if it isn't played much)

A nostalgic if very dated experience; a quality remaster for the most part; but still grossly overpriced because activision are greedy a-holes.

This was never my favorite COD; i prefer the trippy narratives of the black ops games or the unhinged bayhem if its sequels more; but this is undeniably well made for what it is. Its pretty; mostly well balanced and as some of the series best missions (7,10 & 12 are still fantastic; bordering on brilliant). This thing is dumb as a brick; but is a mostly a well made brick.

Its absolutely aged badly in places; All Ghillied up has aged like milk; the death quotes are borderline tasteless and it pulls its punches when it could've done something more narratively clever and impactful. Also the entire thing is still a dull grey and brown blob of visuals. There's also a nasty hard crash bug with a i easy fix that player should not have to do on mission 9.

So get cheap; but not bad

Ain't nothin' like classic adventure with Soap, Price and Gaz

This game is so awfully remasterd to the point where they should just refund everyone and remove it completely, you are literally just a one man army since your allies are just useless and stand there and watch as you do everything. The AI in this game is so bad, they will kill the enemy after you die. But not before, the hitbox most of the time is just as bad as the AI. Enemies will also just sprint towards you like your not a threat and didn't just kill half of their squad, their ak's or whatever weapon they have will also turn into a MG42 for 2 milliseconds and kill you before you even have a chance to fire back or take cover to heal. I do not recommend this. I couldn't even start the game at all when I first bought it due to some bs 'Out of memory' glitch even though I have 250GB left on my SSD, I had to start my computer up in safe mode then start the game and put it into window mode only to then start up my computer normally and then it would work. You should not have to do so to play a 7 year old game.

Good game perpetually ruined by a publisher that is a shi-Stain on the gaming industry

One of the GOAT games. Really hasn't been beaten except by it's second part.
