* VR mode supports 360 and 180 degree tracking plus step rotation.
* 10,000 maps, ranging from super easy to certain death.
* Play the levels you want, stay on the easy maps or jump to high risk, high reward sectors.
* Collect rewards from completed maps to upgrade a variety of weapons and skills.
* A multitude of different enemies and special map challenges.
* Multiple leaderboards for different game modes.
* Hardcore old-school shooter with rogue-like elements.
An Orcus Research Cartel station orbiting a deep space magnetar has gone rogue. The operating system has killed the crew and turned them into thanatoids, half dead monsters with a lust for murder. And if that's not bad enough, the corporate A.I. back at Earth System has triggered the station's self destruct sequence. Your only chance is to fight your way through an army of weaponized undead and find an escape pod, before time runs out or the thanatoids overwhelm you.
10,000 levels of chaotic science fiction horror that rise inexorably in difficulty. Choose which maps you play, in any order, from the dead easy beginning sectors to the certain death end sectors. Take on extra challenges for big rewards, and use those rewards to buy new weapons and survival skills. The maps start small and painless, but sector by sector the challenge mercilessly ramps up, until at some point they become practically impossible. Where that point is depends on your skill.
Find the escape pods to complete the game, or just keep going and see how far you can get. Rise up on the leaderboards.

Absolute madness. Some of the worst VR controls coupled with the sickest most heavy metal gameplay. Absolutely worth two dollars. Legitimately very fun to play and intense. The action is nearly nonstop and overwhelming, again, this game feels like a technical death metal album cover.
very fun, i love both the vr and non vr versions. i love that there's so many levels and always something you can upgrade, but it has just the right amount of grindiness to where after a little while its not too easy to upgrade anything. i really like how the levels are on a time limit where the level will self-destruct if you make it out in time. graphics are alright, vr's a bit jank but i love it as my philosophy is "embrace the jank." very disgustingly cool enemy designs and level design is good, decent gore too. if you like vr shooters or just fast paced gory shooters in generl this might be a fun one to try (vr can be a bit confusing tho).
This game is a blood soaked love letter to early 90's shooters, except it is on straight duke nukem steroids, and caught between pain killer and system shock with a dab of quake's strogg a bit, so far so good so why haven't you bought this yet?
cruelty squad but VR and with robocop lookin robot creature zombies trying to slaughter you with their weird electric guns see for yourself
I had a lot of fun with this. It's weird and bloody, and sometimes funny. It's the best VR trash I've played in a long time. You have unlimited ammo, different weapons, excellent electronic music, and there's no need to think, just shoot a lot of (small) bizarre, creepy, skinless enemies in a strange, cyberpunk-ish/industrial environment with a lot of chrome pipes. Trash though. And turning while playing seated could have been made easier. But still... I love it. :)

Overview:
game is a FPS with dark rooms and element of surprise xD on each corner.
most of all it looks ugly :/ and secondly default movement control appears to be so sensibly wan**
I have really had my monies worth out of this game, it cost me £1.69 and so far I have had over 5 hours of gameplay fun out of it. This is a sci-fi horror game that reminds me a bit of the film 'Virus' (The Donald Sutherland one). The game plants you in space with your trusty guns by your side, you shoot your way through the blood thirsty Thanatoids (genetically mutated humans) sector after sector until you can complete 10,000 levels. You can jump to harder sectors if you want to, just make sure you have the right arsenal in order to complete the harder levels. I suppose in a way this game is a wave based arena sector shooter (if such a genre exists). In short, I am really enjoying it but I also think it will sit well with horror enthusiasts and probably not so much with non horror fans.
My video of the first 25 sectors - https://youtu.be/vsfIJjn_JlA
After 3 hours completing 12 sectors I've already got my money's worth, and there's over 9,000 sectors available.
The saying "worth a shot" has never been more true :)
Check your "Gamma setting" : You want to see 4 of the 5 skulls on the test picture.
I'll be honest: if you like what you see in the trailers, you'll like the game. I find myself wanting to play more just for the bizarre enemy designs alone. If Killing Floor and Binding of Isaac had an unholy, crack-addicted baby, this would be that game. Hardcore gorecore. Got it for $1.75 CAD - money well spent.
The ugly abomination aren't the cyborg mutant corpses in this game, it's the fact that it hasn't been purchased enough. If I could use my Chrono-Mutator Points to go back in time a thousand times to purchase it a thousand times, I would have done so already, but alas...
This game tries to be everything. It's like what happens when you take the story, tone and general art of System Shock, Bioshock and Quake and crossing it with the gameplay of Doom, Painkiller and Serious Sam, oh, and throw in the metagame of a varied number of RPG and Tower Defence games. Personally, while I feel that the gameplay is what really defines it, the general feel and tone of it needs work. The creature design isn't the best and can come across as a little too cartoonish, if gorey, but it works.
That said, this game thrives on its gameplay mechanics. It's simple yet complex enough for high replayability. You kill stuff in the hundreds and thousands and millions. You earn cash for that, which you use to upgrade yourself. Then you kill more stuff in the hundreds and thousands and millions. You can then earn more cash for that and- You get the picture. But then there are other mechanics that makes it a little more interesting. You can gain points which you can use to go back in time and upgrade a second layer of stats in the process, such as a modifier on how much damage you can do or how much punishment you can take, or how much money you can earn from killing stuff in the hundreds and thousands and millions.
That said, replayability is the main goal here it seems. I've been at it for 7 hours and I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Sure, I've upgraded myself a thousand times but in hard numbers, how far am I into the game? About 55 / 10,000 of the way. You heard that right, and it isn't because I had a little spaz moment and hit an extra zero. There are 10,000 levels to go through, and most likely, you'd have to go back in time to restart to be able to make any meaningful progress because you gotta upgrade yourself if you wanna keep up, just like in real-life, except more rewarding.
But it's not grindy. The developer had thought one step ahead. You don't have to complete every level - you can skip them, especially when the few thousand weaklings you have to go through in the earlier levels aren't a challenge anymore and couldn't give you enough money for painting the rooms red. In my latest time travel, I actually skipped a dozen levels at a time as I was upgrading myself so fast. Your only goal is really to reach the last level.
Would I recommend it? Hell yeah! Would I go back in time a thousand times to recommend it a thousand times over? I would if I could!
Pretty impressive! This is like Doom or Serious Sam with rogue-like elements, many perks and weapons to unlock and upgrade. It's very gory, with hoards of monsters and some environmental hazards. The main objective on each level is to reach the escape pod within a time limit, while trying to survive and killing as many monsters as possible to increase the reward. Purchase upgrades and go to another level. Sometimes there are secondary objectives, like defeating bosses or killing certain number of enemies. The game looks polished and runs smoothly on Oculus Rift S. It's quite a hidden gem, with a few rough edges, the biggest for me being the awkward turning mechanics. The turning will have to change! to the normal controller stick function, which right now is reserved for the weapon selection wheel so the developer is trying to come up with these weird workarounds.
I think I might need a sling for my gimp right arm. It would be a lot more fun if it had dual weapons .
It gets stuck on 9 loading. I have to click on on the app window with my mouse to get it to finish loading. Rift s
Other than that I got what I wanted, shooting stuff in vr. Buy it if you want to mindlessly blast away at limbs and see which one falls off quickest.
the real doom vr game you hoped for
this game is amazing reminds me of robotron meets doom but with a pinball esque multiplier system i got up to 134,000 x multiplier lol
gameplay 2 update only solidifies the deal further with chrono mutator points that let you start over but level up base stats like damage, reward, skull boost, diamond and a few others
works great in vr with full locomotion the first iteration gave me sickness but thats all gone now
100% buy for vr or 2d
When i first started playing this game i thought there was not much to it from the level design and over all game play, but wow how wrong i was after about 1 hour into it.And if you are thinking of buying it, then i really hope my review helps you do that.Well first off its a full on fps shooter with RPG upgrade system with money earned from completing sectors in the game.
You can buy skills of many types from health, shields, guns, environmental protection and lots and lots more to even remember as theres so many. Now graphics are far from the best ive seen but not the worst ive seen to, but more than do there job.But it would be nice if there was more graphics options like antilising and fxaa ect ones to, but hope the developer will add more in down the line from requests in the discussions section on steam.Weapon souds are nice and do the job for what it is, and not really anymore to say on that i guess.
What i like is the starting gun has unlimited ammo which is awsome and all guns have a second firing mould in non vr, with the second mouse button. The music in the game is very good and suits the sci fi setting really well, although i do feel sometimes the tracks are coming off someones random playlist as they dont allways fit in right. So going to send the developer somemore ideas for the game and fixes as well.
The game has permadeath which is if you die in a sector you cant replay that again, but you can restart in the sector next on to it, well unless you start a new game. But what ever sector you replay it on it is random generated which adds more level variety. So permanent death means you die and you have to start first level again or any level you want in any order. But iam playing it on permadeath, so it means when i die as from what i mentioned before i fell that level and move on to the next one or which ever one i wish to jump to.But i prefer to play them in order which i found more fun, plus build up my skills and weapons to.As the higher the level the bigger reward, but the harder it is to which the game tells you before you go into that sector. And even on sector 6 and 7 i played there was a crazy amount of enemies to kill which was fun, and with 10,000 sectors its a bit to be going on with.So you can imagine what there is to come, compared to even the first couple of thousand sectors. 😊
Each sector to has a time limit to get out the level, but the latest update now allows you to turn them both off.Which i found more fun this way and you feel free to blast away and not panicking you wont make it out in time.Theres a varied
amount of monsters on each level, which on the sceen at the top tells you out of 100% how many you have killed which is nice.
To sum up what sort of game this is, well lets just say Doom, killing floor meets serious same but with slower enemies, meets a fps version of kinda of Robotron which sounds crazy. And with rpg upgrades with money you earn on completed sectors from the fallen enemies.Oh and a touch of Smash TV to from the arcades back in the day, but in a fps sense. But most of all don't be put off by the slow shambling enemies, as the game soon ramps up and you feel its a battle of your life to complete that sector your on.
I know this review is jumbled up which iam sorry guys, but i was writing it 3.00Am in the morning lol, plus sorry for any spelling mistakes as well.
But as i said give it a go as its got stacks of content and gets very addictive after a hour and you just want to upgrade and get further.Plus the more people who buy it, well then the developer can add more and more fetures to a already great game which could turn out awsome.
I played this and ill tell you, its ugly. not only that, but the upgrades, difficulty progression, ect. are all money based - you can complete a level, earn a rediculous amount of money, get a bagillion upgrades. top it all off, the levels are monotonous. there is some variation due to the random generation aspect, but it's all different blocks that look the same.
my big gripe is this flat out is not fun. it takes all of the fun things about classic shooters and strips all the fun out of it. If you play doom, quake, duke nukem, ect. there is a real sense of progression and fun while the difficulty ramps up organically. sure, there are switch hunts and such and its basically kill the think, pull the switch, get the keycard, but its fun.
this is literally a squiggly line from point a to point b with hideous graphics and monsters that more or less amount to bullet sponge or shooter monsters and then mindless hordes. it's pretty basic.
I'm not sure what i expected, but i'm disappointed for $15 dollars.
i mean no slight to the game creator, but some serious polish on graphical fidelity, linear level designs, and upgrades would be really a wise decision to make this project great. I love "unloved" and "binding of isaac" which are horror blood and shooting games with upgrades and action, and they have a special charm.
This game has no charm. it's just violence and upgrades for the sake of violence and upgrades. not sure how to describe it much better than that.
Great intense old-school shooter, hard to find of this type. 9/10.
Update: Great Dev, he listen to feedback !!
What I like:
--The maps, great and in huge number; altough procedurally generated, they are smart interconnected and designed. The most advanced have 10-15+ rooms of all sizes and types, some are obliques, some have ramps, lifts, access keys. The graphics are very solid, like a modern Doom3, perfect for the theme; many types of sub-themes, lighting styles.
--The monsters are very various, some of them very original - some 20-30 basic types I believe, with all types of attacks. They are biological mixed with technology, which reminds me of Quake2 somehow.
The weapons are well designed; all have alt fire, smart designed for each one; in fact, most of traditional weapons this way are included - smg, cg, rail, grenade launcher, rpg, shotgun, flame thrower, lightning gun.
The gore system - great gib fest, blood trails, blood splats, excellent sounds.
Music - very good, some tracks are really great.
The gameplay is fast, dense, rewarding and addictive; there are allways things to unlock/upgrade in "skills" menu -tons of smart and unexpected options, some with massive impact in gameplay.
What I REALLY dislike:
1.the bosses are identical like usual monsters but far larger, scalled to 200-300%! I think it's very inadequate and awkward to have them at this size, in fact they are just(dead) humans modified, how could them be 2-3 times larger? They are walking among standard ones, which are 30-40% of bosses's size, like mini-pigmees. If we think they are genetically modified or some thing like this, they must look very different, easy to see. Anyhow, better is they only may be 20-40% larger, is more natural.
2.while we need bosses and minibosses, it's exagerate to have very difficult ones; in fact they may have 1000x the HP of the regular ones, and really insane damage. Also some minibosses(judging by size) are truly infernal.
DEV: please make them optional via an option in menu or gametype: the insane huge monsters and generally very hard ones, even if this means slower progression due to rewarding points.
3.some biped monsters could have better walking and pain animations.
It would be nice to have (I'd agree to pay for other game or DLC):
A gamemode which works like this: when we are killed by monsters, instead of Death Evasion we should be teleported(in 1-2 seconds after mouse click) in other random valid place in same map (like respawn in Deathmatch games) to continue to fight. Monsters, when killed, should be replaced by others (maybe random type) in some time - 20-30 seconds -in other random place in map, to keep constant monster number in map. They must drop larger amount of ammo etc to keep us supplied. Any map should be available, at any progress status, not time nor times restricted. Rewarding/score may or may be not active or optional. A general difficulty/ monster HP adjusting option would be useful for trying more advanced maps. Also with option enable/disable for huge and insane difficult monsters(or a config to edit them). It would be a perfect experience in Necro Mutex.
Passes the 30-second golden rule: It puts a weapon in my hand and gets me to shooting things in a DOOM-ish, ROBOTRON kind of way! Starts slow, but it's necessary to become familiar with the game. All the while you're unlocking other weapons, power-ups, etc. This game is easy to play and fun! Highly recommend!
Three words: TOO MUCH FUN.
Takes you back to the glory days of the great FPS titles like DOOM, Quake, Painkiller, etc. Great atmosphere, and the soundtrack suites it as well. (Although, I'm a metal head myself, so a rockin' soundtrack with brutal metal beats would have been the icing on this otherwise delicious cake!)
Totally addicted and loving it! Suggestion: (if you're savvy enough) Buy this in combination with the VR driver Natural Locomotion. Using almost any other game's profile in conjunction with this game allows for various options for locomotion within the game. Completely immersed, and getting a workout as well!
You owe it to yourself: PLAY THIS GAME
Nice simple shooter. Wasn't sure what was going on at first but you just follow the green glowing wire on the ground and shoot anything that moves and progress. The environments get pretty cool as you get on particularly for a procedurally generated game. I liked being able to choose which levels to do as well. I found the levels where you had to kill half the enemies to progress annoying so I just chose different levels.
I also really like the shortish levels so I didn't have to devote hours to get anywhere in the game. This is a indie game so it doesn't have the AAA polish but its fun and I haven't played anything quite like it.
A sci-fi zombie nightmare. Reminds me a little of Serious Sam with its relentless enemies. The environments are a fluro techno treat as is the sound and music. It’s a simple shooter that is easy to get into with a solid upgrade path to keep things interesting. It reminds me somewhat of the old school Jeff Minter games but in a 3d Shooter. Ancipital but 3d with Zombies… Ancipital?!…Anyone? Anyone? God I’m old.
