TL;DR Awful game all around, stay away, even for 4€. I wouldn't want to play it for free
The good:
I honestly don't know what to put here
The bad:
- Bad user interface / main menu (esp doesn't go back, unintuitive visual layout, each resolution features like 6 times for me, maybe different refresh rates, i don't know because it doesn't say)
- No borderless window mode
- Visually looks awful, tons of aliasing at max settings and native 1440p resolution
- Feels extremely stuttery even at 150 fps to the point where i can barely play it
- Weapons visually jitter in your hand
- Nauseating headbob with both translation AND rotation and no option to disable. How does anyone even get the idea to do something this horrible!
- Can just full on freeze if you alt+tab
- Struggled to start the game again after it froze
- You need 3-6 headshots to kill the first enemies
- Unfriendly money amounts, the cheapest stuff you can buy is hundreds of dollars so expensive stuff is hundreds of thousands, just huge numbers everywhere. Just divide everything by 100.
- The shop isn't sorted according to cost or anything else that makes sense
- Option to customize crosshair - and still no option to remove it altogether. You were so close to having one good point i could mention.
- Most of the time during waves just waiting for enemies to appear, at least partially thanks to awful AI walking around in inaccessible areas
- Speaking of AI: Enemies can shoot through forcefields that you can't shoot through, and also through dang walls! What the frick
- Minor issue but why does SMG use machine gun ammo and not pistol ammo? That'd make more sense
- No option to toggle between hold to aim or toggle aim
- All weapons unload after every wave apparently? So you have to manually reload everything. What the frick, why.
- Incredibly intrusive overlay with special abilities
It feels like a tech demo or alpha at best, it starts with a bad impression and it just gets worse. The fact i found this much wrong in less than an hour and without finishing even a single game because i had a headache and just couldn't take it any more says about all you need to know. One of the worst gaming experiences i've had in a while, about on the same level as Dead Matter. And at least Dead Matter didn't make me feel physically sick.

This game is so fcking good....the graphic is not bad but the gameplay....fcking awesome.....U NEED TO BUY THIS SHIT!!!!
This is an absolutely terrible game. The whole thing feels cheap, outdated, and poorly optimized. I experienced constant frame rate drops using an RTX2080 and i9 processor and these are some of the worst low-res outdated graphics I have ever seen. There is also no way to adjust the brightness and everything is so bright and washed out. The resolution also kept changing every time I loaded the game and would not save. Player movement is clunky, there are flickering textures, camera movement is unsmooth, and the fov is extremely low. You also cannot remap the controls or save the game and you must constantly reload. Content is also very limited to just a few maps. I cannot recommend this game at all.
for .50 cents this game is well worth the money, I loved playing it, its fun, you can use thing in the enviorment to kill the zombies. The tower defense rocks, Zombie Hunt is freaking amazing 10/10 would recommend to a friend
i love this game it is fun and i try to think what the game will look like when it is done or the things you guys can do with it and i see alot of things you guys can do with guns zombies game modes maps all that keep up the good work
At the moment this is an unfinished, bugged and abandoned game. It seemed very promising because the many game modes included. The Developer (1 person) last answer was back in 2019 december and he promised an update, then he went full silent on Steam forum. The only Early Acces game I ever bought, but I regret it.
I will change my review if he will show us something.
My advice is to avoid this game for now.
You cannot invert the mouse. I repeat...you cannot invert the mouse, or bind movement keys. Avoid until the dev takes their work seriously.
EDIT: It's been a long time and no updates to the controls of this game. The dev may have fooled me this time, but I will be sure to give their next game a miss.
I cannot play this game while the sensitivity is so low. Someone let me know when the maximum has been increased and then I'll see if I can have a good time with this game, but until then I personally cannot stand it.
Its an asset flip, very buggy, and the funny thing is I confronted the dev and said that the game is a pile of dog shit, and it an asset flip since everything in it uses external assets he didn't even make himself. He abandoned the game, its a classic move, there wasn't even an update in months. The funny thing is, he banned me from discussions. I full on stated that, if he fixes the game I'll repurchase it, but he was like fuck you bro, your valid criticism is a no no. Fuck this dev and stay away from it. He'll ban you just like he did me.
Feels like the dev has abandoned this game to work on some mobile game. Hasn't even responded to multiple discussions regarding a new update. Highly do not recommend this game in its current state. Until the dev actually gets back with the community about a new update for this game, avoid at all costs. useless.
So I originally bought this game for around $11 dollars because it was on sale, and it was a meh game for it's price, I refunded it and then later noticed it was on sale again but for $2 dollars and I felt like that was the right price for the content you are getting in the game.
The games graphics overall are pretty decent and polished, so on that aspect it's done well.. But the gameplay feels a bit stiff and clunky, holding a weapon and running looks off and feels weird, so maybe making the running mechanics more smooth would add an awesome layer of improvement. Now onto the models, items, and other object elements in the game, it personally feels like an unreal asset flip, I'm not saying it is but I'm sure I've seen many of these models on the developer marketplace. I'm just saying that it's possible to easily replicate the game/gameplay just by buying FPS templates and models on the unreal engine market. But if we put that aside, I love the bloody, brutal gore aspect of the game, smashing and shooting zombies feels awesome it could be improved but I'm taking into account that this game is in early access so hopefully in future updates they will improve it. So I'm just saying if it's on sale definitely get it but otherwise I'm not so sure..
Seems someone thought it would be great to make a zombie game, San Andreas style, connecting several mini-games with a open world fps and a great story, yet missed to create the open world part and the story. So game is left with a lot of minigames, rather simple and becoming boring quiet fast. Left for dead.
If you enjoy shooting zombies without any story, just comming in, you may enjoy this game. Though the controls are clumpy, graphics are rather poor (not from this decade) and sound is unremarkable.
TLDR: I just bought this on sale for $3.74. Worth the price if you get it on sale. The full price of 14.99? Not so sure as there's been 6 months with no updates.
I do find this game to be quite a bit of fun. There's obviously been a good amount of work put into it so far as there are several game modes to play: 3rd person chaos mode, FPS deathmatch vs AI, tower defense and a couple mini games. Sound is good. There are multiple weapons to choose from. Animations are clean. UI is intuitive.
Unfortunately, multiplayer is currently not available. Which isn't much of a problem with me being an aloof shut-in, but whats more of a drag is that you cannot save your levels in the level editor. If you could save/load and play other user created levels through the workshop, I would be happy with playing their Hunt mode for quite some time.
In conclusion: Definitely worth the sale price for sure, but it's been quiet and has not been updated for 6 months (since right after it was released.) Great potential to be a favorite, I'm just hoping this game still has a pulse.
fun need lot of work crash are lot can.t start new game it go black not go no more then crash lol but fun so for $5.00 i paid cus it was on deal pls fix and hope u guy are not asset fl.
Stupid thing don't even load half the time. I have a GTX1070TI - 32 gig ram - i7 - should be no issues. Finally got it to play a round and when I died and hit restart - it never restarted just sat there doing nothing for minutes. 0/10 - would not load again.
Cool game, played it for a couple of hours, but I can't play very well without being able to invert the 'Y' axis on the mouse.
Once i'm able to play with an inverted ' Y' axis, I'll really put some time in. So far a thumbs up, if you like killing zombies
this game has great potential.
Overpriced!!!!!
1. clunky game play and mechs.
2. Can't run graphics on high without extreme heat. (GTX 1060)
3. Might be fun one day, but as stated before needs to focus on 1 or 2 types of play.
4. Multi player won't be fun with these small maps.
5. Buttons and extras like health need simpler use for players and explain what some even do. I.E. Big health restores
both armour and health. I will revisit this game in the future, but for now not worth the money asked.
Also most of the people giving it a thumbs up played less than 2 hrs!
great game from a solo person, i must say, however it needs some improvement, like in when i headshot the zombie, it needs to die instantly, cause some zombie i shot in the head just still alive, or maybe when i shot to the head, part of the head from zombie fall off. About weapon, like desert eagal need some buff, i shot 3 time in zombie head, it still alive, so it need to die instantly and the head need to be explode, i have not try other weapons yet but it might need some buff also. About mini game, the car driving mode was boring, i mean it needs some challange like the car could be damage and you need some thing to pick up to fix ur car, the mode where you need to sit down fast before music stop, i think you should let the player shoot the loser and also yourself and finally when player reload while sprinting it turns into realoding while walking ,overall, good job and great game, looking forward for the new update
It would be a cool little game for 5€, but not for this Price.
I waited some days for the release cause i really like Zombie Games, but it wasnt worth it.
The Controls and Movement dont feel great, also i couldnt find the option to change the Right Mouse click to Hold instead of click.
Graphics were looking good for me, i dont care about it that much.
The " Rage " mode is a cool idea, but the slow motion is too slow in my opinion, so it gets more annoying than cool. (also with the headshot slow motions)
I tested the current Modes and maps and didnt really had fun.
Im sure the dev gonna improve the game strongly in the future, but if you put out a Early Access title you are in danger to get negative reviews, cause the current product just isnt worth the money.
But i have to say that its nice to have a Level Editor from the start and also so "many" modes and maps. This factor brings probably many many maps in the future due the community.
