Short but fun little puzzle platformer. Its all keyboard as it does not support controller or steam deck... just a heads up.
*uninstalling the game* " YOU DID IT MY DEAR"
6/10
Extremely short game, but it's worth a dollar. A few of the puzzles took me a moment, overall not very challenging but it's a neat idea. Some more levels would really be nice.
Simple, easy, not worth it's full price. It has a great complex concept that they never expand upon and they could honestly expand upon further if they so desired.
Way too short, finished it in 20 minutes with afk'ing for 2 minutes. It's a pretty easy and calm game, so it's a good game for people who don't want to die every 2 seconds like in hard games.
4/10

Quality sound effect, 10/10 would buy soundtrack
Good game, although short. That would be enough to receive my recommendation...
HOWEVER... The performance is terrible. On a GPD Win 2 device, the game stutters and has trouble keeping a smooth framerate, making precise jumps with precise timing incredibly frustrating. That's why I cannot recommend this game.
Also, no controller support.
A very short puzzle platformer.
To recommend or not? I beat all 24 levels of Freezeer in 16 minutes. So it's short as heck. It still costs money though: I paid 0.40€ for it on sale.
Freezeer puzzles are simple (which is fine):
- You got to touch the red block to "unfreeze" before you can get to the goal, i.e. the girlfriend.
- Touching blocks while frozen falls the blocks you touch, so sometimes you got to make a simple plan to create the route first.
That's all there is to it.
There's no real story. While there were no obvious bugs in my playthrough, there isn't much to do either.
Store page claims that the character jumps with Spacebar but this didn't work for me: instead, the character jumps with the "up" key. Only arrows control the character (+ 'R' for reload level): there's no WASD, nor remapping the keys. Curiously, there is not even controller support, a peculiar oversight for a platformer.
Music is adorable but unimpressive: you can mute it in the menu though.
100% achievements in a quarter hour
I choose to recommend it because it's bug-free and almost free, but as a game it's too short (even for 0.40€) and easy to receive any more praise.
Get it on sale or play something better.

A great little game. :) 30-35 mins to beat it, neat puzzle idea
Fun simple game. A few hard levels here and there but overall a nice chill experience that will help kill 30 minutes to an hour of your night.
This is a great little platformer that is, unfortunately, way too short. The 24 levels are just enough to get into it and learn the mechanics - once all levels are done you can easily long for more.
I give this one a big "yes" as it reminded me of the Oik and qop series in terms of its relaxing nature. The two series are a bit different as they are physics-based and here we have a "story"; still, I enjoyed this one just the same. I think around 50-60 levels would be better with the inclusion of some additional gameplay mechanics to make the adventure a bit more challenging.
This is recommended - do note, however, that Steam is currently "learning of this game" so your 100% completion is not counted, yet.
In short: Good idea, lazy execution. This is more of a proof of concept with a dire lack of content, than a full release.
In long: It's an interesting twist on the puzzle platformer genre. Each level starts you out frozen, which makes each block you touch suddenly be affected by gravity. After touching the red block you become unfrozen. This means you no longer affect blocks, and you can now access the exit (for some reason the level exit is a "girlfriend" who "rewards" you with an annoying kissing sound effect - come on, it's 2018). The challenge lies in having to prepare the level for the second phase: By strategically touching and skipping blocks in the first phase, you have to build a layout that is solvable for the return trip, when you can only jump.
At least that's the theory, because at 24 levels the game is appallingly short. And among those only 2-3 use the mechanics in a way that doesn't make the solution immediately obvious. The difficulty is generally all over the place. Even the second level is way easier than the first. Including the 3 interesting levels that required multiple resets I beat the entire game in 20 minutes. At least the controls are pretty tight, I'll give it that. Sadly you're forced to use arrow keys (no WASD).
In terms of presentation and technical implementation I can hardly give the game more than a "functional". This is as bare-bones as it gets for a game. You have a single-page level menu, an exit button and a mute button and that's it. No windowed mode. I can see nothing that hints at any kind of polish or effort beyond the bare minimum. Why even go through the trouble of making/finding assets and coding a game when you then stop at 24 levels? Put some more content in there, preferably some that teases your brain a little!
Sure, the game is cheap, but even at 0.79 I feel overcharged for how little it has to offer. It might be worth spending a few Cents on sale to check out the novel mechanic, but be aware of how little you're going to get in return. This is a glorified demo or proof of concept, not a full release.
Too short. I finished this in twenty minutes. It's a shame, because there are some really good ideas here, and there is a LOT of room to explore and develop the puzzle mechanics further. This game could have been so much more.
