Рубите бревна, режьте сучки, колите поленья и делайте скриншоты со своими результатами!

Все совпадения с реальностью чистая случайность, это бревно просто сильно похоже на твою бывшую.

Cut The Ex-Girlfriends is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", CSM/W.T.B., took the Cut The Wood Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Mamadou Cisse, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
CSM/W.T.B. has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Jetpack Dog" = 2D Endless Runner Game Kit developed by SG Studio
- "Happy New Year Clicker" = Clicker Game Example developed by Some Packs Team
- "How To Be Best Russian Game Developer" = Clicker Game Example developed by Some Packs Team
- "Too White Basketball" = Dude Basket developed by Feat Games
- "Kawaii Rainbow Portal" = Infinite Jump Color Game developed by Puppeteer
- "W.T.B." = RGB a casual one touch game developed by MAD Entertainment
- "Russian Prison Sport: OCHKO" = Blackjack from the Phazer Games asset/tutorial pack developed by Phazer Games

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Cut The Wood" is just a tutorial for creating a "Fruit Ninja" ripoff mobile app, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from CSM/W.T.B..

A bad fruit ninja clone

It's almost as if this game wants to be Fruit Ninja; which is free on mobile. Not worth the price tag and the fact that the game will start achievement farming upon opening. Rate 1/10. Way too many sound effects and concepts in this game that make it feel like the idea was used as a quick cash grab. There are only two modes in this game; classic and arcade. The high score feature is another way this game is designed to be played repetitively.

More achievement spam games from WTB. Steam seriously need to sort this shit out.
Literally 2 modes (arcade/classic) with one level on repeat. Chop the wood as it flies across the screen, get a personal best score. That is sadly all there is to this "game".
Run it for the achievements
White Trash Beautiful, there's something you should know..., as Everlast sings it on his 4th solo album. Due to this I really like the logo our developer and publisher fellow (or duo?) picked for himself - it isn't really because of the picture but because of the music.
And this is pretty much where the positivity ends. Many of the games CSM slash W.T.B publishes are not to be taken seriously. You may call them shovelware due to their achievement hunting nature - I do believe, however, that the developer has so far avoided releasing anything with 5,000 'cheevos. So, you download these simplistic games then you launch them and, eventually, you become happy as you got all achievements in a minute or so; one perfect game for your library.
This game on the so-called ex-girlfriends is a silly joke. I'm still trying to find out why it is funny to put the Ex Missus and Fruit Ninja together and for some reason it just doesn't hit me. Instead of fruits, naturally, we go with tree logs but the game is very simple and - no leaderboards or change of sword types or any of all those extras you have grown to like Fruit Ninja for. I do not want to go into the level of English grammar used on the store page. It was never proofread, that's for sure.
You can farm some of these (probably) asset flips but Cut The Ex... is one to avoid. The creator returns to it periodically to add more achievements. Again, they unlock upon launching the game - perhaps this is a test to see if he can get to 5,000 at the end following the recent Steam update on limiting achievements? Instead of playing W.T.B.'s dedication to your former partners pick something else in his library of games or go for the real deal.
