It's like Sonic Frontiers inside Windows 10 Wallpapers but also Sonic is not there. Also with actual neat physics-based puzzles and serious Boards Of Canada vibes, which I appreciate.
An excellent roll-playing game. Full of ballsy moves and, um, attractive mechanics.
Fun little puzzle game, with some really nice scenery and excellent lighting. Small enough that you could get through the game in one sitting, or just take it in small chunks, a few puzzles at a time.
Ran through the entire game, good time overall.
Much bigger fan of the puzzle boxes over the island, lot of complex geometry/ collision snags and invisible walls that makes it annoying to travel around, but it's nice to bomb it across the giant distances with the boost when the opportunities present themselves
Would've liked more puzzle boxes, some fun ideas with them and the physics.
Nice game. It's supposedly a remake, but I never played the original. Nevertheless, this is well made. It's a little easygoing, but navigating through the environments is nice as they are very well rendered and provide adequate traversal challenges to move between the main puzzles.
The game control well (I played on controller), and if you end up throwing yourself out of bound, the game quickly recover, making failure very forgiving, which is great as it does encourage experimenting with movement a bit.
All in all, a pretty and puzzly experience. Whether you're here to look for a remake of the original or just like chill games with a bit of reflexion sprinkled on it, I'd recommend it.
side note: steamdb indicates that the game contains EOS files, but they are not used; confirmed by the dev and by just removing it before running.
Fun and chill mix of puzzles and exploration with great music to accentuate both parts of the experience.
Gorgeous looking as well, took the time to fine tune my settings so that the game would stay beautiful at a high framerate because it really deserves it.
It also has potential to be a good speedrun game, with movement tech that allows you to speed up or outright skip some puzzles.
Fun play and puzzle great. Now better remake graph & achievement.
A super chill ball-rolling puzzle game, and it looks extremely pretty too!
Eggbug is in this game
I tried to play this, but Joe ate the ball.
Very nice relaxing physics puzzle game.
Beautiful remake. I have original Influx on gog and I have finished it at least 3 times. One of the most relaxing games Ive ever played. I was slowly losing hope for this to ever come out but Im very glad it did. Thank you for this. Its my little gem of a game.
Super chill and looks fantastic! Puzzles are fun some can be a bit tedious especially if you mess up but overall has a good flow.
Beautiful, tranquil, absorbing exploring and puzzling. Lovely music kinda reminiscent of Eve's floaty space electronica. Super pretty looking, especially that water, wow. The puzzles often seem quite uniquely analog in a way that most puzzle games aren't, ie if you can come up with some way to fling and bounce yourself that's not the most clearly defined route, and yet works, then good on you. All in all a mix that pretty much guarantees a relaxed-but-attentive mental flow state while playing. Very enjoyable!
Beautiful to look and and great to play - fun blend of rolling-exploration and puzzle mechanics and the world is a gorgeous place to roll around in.
What a nice little puzzle game. Chill atmosphere with a beautiful and relaxing game world, and music that fits it perfectly. The visuals are really great, especially for an indie game, and the game play is a good mix of challenging and forgiving. Definitely enjoying it.
Very fun, chill, and pretty. Great game feel and puzzle design.
Just when I was thinking "I'd like to go faster" the game told me how. Love it, esp with its minimalist puzzle aesthetic.
It's like that one scene from the end of Happy Gilmore was a whole game and the cool vibes were off the charts.
It's relaxing to roll the ball around and push things out of the way. It's fun to charge a boost and fling the ball into the distance. Visuals are nice to look at, puzzles are enjoyable, nice music.
Sweet little blue ball
Rolling and powering up
We can save a whale....
while I'm still playing it, and can't give a full review on the game itself rn because of that, I can say for certain that it's both absolutely stunning, while well optimised.
so far: the game is lovely, easily to pick up, and again: this thing is drop dead gorgeous. it shows that almost every inch of this game was combed through and remade or remastered. wow.
and for reference: my specs are lower than the minimum spec (i5-9300H, 1660ti), and because i'm on a laptop, i'm stuck that way. On almost all medium to high settings, avoiding some obvious pitfalls like turning down the resolution, using upscaling, and not using nanite tesselation, i'm getting quite a comfortable framerate with this. kinda crazy stuff to see a game this new and pretty running on my kinda old laptop.
totally would recommend so far.
fun ball game. fancy graphics, chill music, fun physics puzzles.
This is the definition of a good vibes game! A really nice and surprisingly challenging puzzler with beautiful environments and a lovely soundtrack. Once you unlock the boost ability the movement really comes together. Perfect for sitting on the couch and rolling around for a while just soaking up the atmosphere.
♫ magnet ball, magnet ball, magnet ball ♫
♫ oh no i rolled too fast and fall ♫
♫ end of the game is a metaphor ♫
♫ for finishing a game 🎺🎺
Gorgeous marble platformer reminiscent of my beloved Venineth. The developer put the technology at their disposal to very good use with the visuals and atmosphere. The soundtrack is exactly the right balance of cerebral and groovy. The push/pull mechanic is a fresh addition to the marble platformer genre that gives some welcomed interaction with the environment. Tugging other objects around gives my marble positive "little guy" vibes to me.
Some small critiques are that the visual effect on whether you are pushing or pulling could be more apparent. It took me a while to notice the different indicating particle effect. Perhaps the affect could extend out to the edge of the circle or both powers could be a different color for better recognizability. I also suggest putting a dead zone on the left and right directions for stick navigation in the setting menu, as I found myself constantly changing settings I didn't mean to while just trying to move up and down. Given that the bumpers are valid triggers for the boost ability and you need your right thumb to aim, choosing one of them instead of A in the ui tooltip would probably be more helpful. Also much of the hitbox geometry on the rocks doesn't line up with the physical geometry, which also takes me out of the immersion a bit.
I really like that the puzzle rooms are these vast set pieces that don't treat me with kid gloves right off the bat. All in all I very much enjoyed my time and I'm excited to get to play more and see what later sections of the game have in store for me.
Lovely, relaxed roll-'em-up with some beautiful scenery from a master Unreal Engine 5 developer. The mix of outdoor, open terrain rolling and focused puzzle chambers is paced great, and the attract/repel mechanic packs depth into two simple button presses. Also runs well in Linux via Proton!
Beautiful island, compelling puzzles, an ORB to PONDER.
only quibble: gotta turn the settings down a lot on the steam deck. understandable as the steam deck isn't a powerful machine, but still a bummer for less pretty ORB on the go.
I've only just done the first couple puzzles but this is exactly my kind of puzzle platformer. Gentle, thoughtful, and a serious graphical beast. Looks and runs great on my rig, can't wait to dive in and roll around some more
A really beautiful, chill marble game with awesome puzzles!
Mindful ball-type game. Beautiful to both look at and play.
It's InFlux, but better! This is how to do a remaster. The original 2013 version was a gorgeous graphical showcase for its time; now it looks the way I remember it, but by 2024 standards. It's a chill exploration physics puzzler, and it feels great to play.
A very pleasant game that oscillates between exploration of picturesque environments and physic-based puzzles that test your spatial perception.
Open world puzzle ball roller! It looks great, plays great, twists your brain in interesting ways. I didn't play the original but I'm enjoying this new version quite a lot.
A lovely & chill game mixing light puzzling and exploration through varied environments. There are a couple of shortcomings that bother me (like the intentional lack of rolling sounds) — but overall I would recommend giving it a go.
Really chill game! Rolling around feels nice and the views are beautiful.
A chilled out puzzly roller with a vibin' soundtrack, I'm enjoying this as much as I did back then. It has seen a large benefit from the engine and assets upgrade, and more than warrants giving it a go even if you played the original! Feels like a good fit for the current lineup of handheld gaming PCs as well! (ROG Ally in my case.)
Great feeling controls, satisfying exploration, challenging + rewarding puzzles and fantastic, cutting edge graphical features? What isn’t there to love!
