In A Hat in Time you play as a tiny space-travelling girl with a big tophat. Her adventure is halted when all her fuel, the Time Pieces, is lost and scattered across a nearby planet. Hat Kid must now jump, fight and stitch new hats to make her way into every nook and cranny of this new world in order to restore her fuel and resume her journey. On her way, she'll bump into the menacing Mafia of Cooks, the goofy birds of Dead Bird Studio, the spooky shadows of Subcon Forest, and more!Murder on a train! Parades! Trespassing in a movie studio?
Every mission in A Hat in Time is unique! At one moment you'll be solving the Murder on the Owl Express by finding clues and interrogating the locals, the next moment you'll be the band marshal in The Big Parade, or sneaking through the bird-run Dead Bird Studio!

This is the best example of a platforming game I can think of. Go play it if you can better on a sale but worth it. I am prob gonna play it a few more times over the next few years.

One of my favorite games ever! The DLC for Metro and Seal the Deal are both super cute and have tons of character while also being a challenge! The main story overall is amazing and a treat to play! 10/10 Game
have been eyeing this game ever since 2017-2018, and i have to say i find every day of waiting for a chance to get this game was worth it! the artstyle is very charming and is probably one of, if not my favorite 3D platformer of all time! get this game if you have been eyeing this game for a long time, you won't regret it :)
Really lovely classic 3D platformer. There's a lot of complexity to the main character's movement which can lead to some satisfying tricks. The worlds are fun and many of the levels are really creative. Unfortunately the game feels a bit like it's on a negative trajectory overall - the most interesting levels and unique platforming challenges occur around the middle act with the game becoming less interesting in the last third or so - but there's so much fun to be had regardless.
Highly enjoyable and surprisingly technical platformer. Cute but brutal at times. I clicked immediately with this and if you don't well just refund it. I think if you like the art style and enjoy 3D platformers, you're 99.9% assured to dig this.
Cute, fun, it's just a great experience throughout. The game plays around with some different gameplay ideas in the main game in in the DLCs, and they are all either knockouts or decently fun. The workshop gives this game even more potential. I don't think my time spent in this game reflects how much fun I have had with it. I plan on giving this game more time. Highly Recommend!
Over the top and snarky action platformer with great artstyle and musical direction.
The world building is pretty fun and overall the traversal is quick and inventive in their own ways
A really fun 3D platformer. There's a bit of dark humor but if you don't mind, it's great experience.
An overall interesting and enjoyable 3D platformer. The art style is cute, the characters are fun, and the well crafted gameplay is just the cherry on top. While it did have some frustrating or confusing moments, that's the sort of thing i expect from a platformer.
Great game, if you haven't tried it I would recommend giving it a shot

My fav 3D platformer of all time that has so many good mods, its a bit over priced and the devs tried to sell paid Mods + having QOL elements locked behind dlc
Its still one of the greatest platformer ever made and i 100% recommend it on sale
this game has been one of my favourites for the past couple years now and after buying it for the 5th time just now on pc i can say it keeps that title confidently, the shocking ease in the mod support along with just how good the base game is makes for probably the best time that 25 bucks can get you
I ADORE this game! It has nice graphics, lovley gameplay and it kept me hooked for the 4 hours i played it! The bad is the controls and that some things aren't explained to the fullest! Other then that if you're looking for an interesting platformer with a gimick this is the game for you!
A light-hearted game that'll have you amused. Personally, I dislike games with confusing controls (mostly platformers like Celeste), but I found this game's controls easy to grasp in it's 3D cartoon-style world(s). If you're also looking for a challenge, Death Wish (a part of the 'Seal the Deal' DLC, a must-grab for fans) will have you on the edge of your seat, its most infamous level being the 1-Heart boss rush.
Do not fret old timers, it bears most resemblance to Super Mario 64, and doesn't disappoint with a similar formula.
A decent 9/10, unfortunate that the DLCs are behind money (despite being mostly worth it).
supper fun fighting bosses and unlocking outfits. the quality is great and the levels are so fun. the 2 dlcs are amazing seal the deal is my personal favorite dlc. make sure to check it out

I LOVE THIS GAME. while it costs quite a bit of money i think you can make it worth it. i used to play this game with my sister on my xbox and i became obsessed. while the main game can be arguably short the amount of side quests make the game even more enjoyable. Theres also lots of diffrent hats and skins to collect, getting the Add-ons make it even better! it expands the game for another few hours, and in my op its one of those games you can play multiple times. it also has a very fun social feature you can either use or ignore interialy! generaly a good game.
This game change my life and i thank it for that. it is a beautiful and charming litlle adventure in some of the most intresting places in video games I had to explore and filled with charming character. it made me confident wearing top hats and long chlothes and embrase my sillyness. thank you Gears for breakfast for making such a remarkable game. if you like 3D platformers like Mario 64 or Banjo kazzoie you will probably like this game. the community are as nice as a familly on Christmass hollidays. I've been hearing about this game for a long while, and I'm so glad I've decided to give this game a try. What a joy to play! The gameplay can be challenging yet fun, with each level feeling unique and creative. The game made me want to revisit previous levels and explore some more just because I adored the different environments. Also, "A Hat in Time" has an excellent sense of humour, with well-written dialogue and memorable characters. It made me want to continue playing! Overall, a great game, especially if you enjoy collectathon-platforming genres. I'm already thinking about my next replay :D

Many moons ago, I watched a friend playing this game on Discord. I immediately fell in love with the art style and the story and bough the ultimate edition a few hours afterwards.
This is by far one of the cutest platformers I have ever played. I can honestly recommend this game to everyone and anyone who loves platformers like this one. I still tend to play through it every once in a while because it is so fun!

My computer did not handle the Graphics. so I got it on Console. THIS GAME IS SO ADORABLE! HAT KIDS IS LOVE! HAT KID IS LIFE! the soundtrack is wonderful too. it looks a lot like Super Mario Galaxy.

Time is falling out of the sky. Just like the Dr., this little time lord is causing trouble everywhere she goes. With hat girl stopping by a near by planet and accidentally spilling her time on the world. She must go and collect all of them back before it falls into the wrong hands. Collectivtons are a missed genre of gaming that should come back really. So it was fun to revisit the genre. Hat kid is not a hero. She causes alot of trouble on her miss adventures unfold while being mischief. The game big main mechanic is that she can swap hats to advance through the levels. Not all hats are creative equal and my be used very really. I do like you can collect alot of outfits to have all the swagger everywhere you go. For a game thats all about collecting times there was not really any time related puzzles. Would have been cool to be like Prince of Prisa all over the place. Anyways, if you feel like time slipping away ,that's because hat kid most likely stole your time. 8/10
I can't describe how much I adore this game, I've Played since it came out it on many occasions and devices and have beaten it multiple time and personally It never gets old. If you like 3D platformer games in any way I highly recommend you play it if you haven't already. <3

This game captures the essence of what you felt when you were a child playing for the first times, when everything was so simple and yet so much fun. It is really worth it, I can tell that this game was made with love.
The music is great, the game is so funny and the gameplay and story is pretty good. The graphics are spot on. Everything feels right.

The deathwish levels are an important reminder to see how much you actually like a game when you stretch its mechanics to the extreme.
A super cute platformer, ABSOLUTELY worth checking out, DLC and all. Although some of the death wish tasks made me want to pull my hair out I had a BLAST playing

An absolutely lovingly crafted platformer adventure. I did have a few moments where I felt that the camera fought me, but that is the only negative thing that I can say about this game. Truly wonderful if you've ever had any fun in a 3D Mario game. 10/10

A fantastic love letter to 3D platformers and with modding, this game will have a easy time with staying alive. This game is very enjoyable, even without mods. Hats off to the devs for making a timeless masterpiece.

VERY good voice acting and music platforming and game play is fun, online is fun and helps with replayability along with mods the game has a mod section built in and dlc makes the game even better with good levels and story behind them.
I knew this game might be interesting initially and surprisingly it's a really fun and entertaining game honestly, I haven't finished it yet but it has decent length to it as well as workshop mods that are well made so it's worth checking out especially if it's on sale.
Peak game, really fun, tons of mods so you can keep having fun, the graphics are also beautiful
If you don't know anything about this game, like not even watching clips of it's on social media completely new game to you and you want to play a game that is really cool and fun story at same time having a challenging gameplay, this game is definitely the one you're looking for.
