Fundamentally, Scary Maze is the greatest game ever created, and no other game can reach it's caliber. When Scary Maze was released, it raised the bar of the video game industry to a point where no other game could physically ever be better than Scary Maze, other than Scary Maze itself. Scary Maze forever is and will be the greatest video game of all time. If somebody asked me, “Why do you like Scary Maze so much?”, you know what I would tell them? I would tell them Scary Maze is my soul, it is my fuel, it gives me the strength and energy to wake up every day and keep going. Scary Maze is simply god's gift to the world. If you play Scary Maze, you're already on a higher level intellectually than the majority of the world. That's simply because Scary Maze makes you superior to the rest of the human race. It stimulates your brain cells the more you play, with every monster you kill. The more you play Scary Maze, the more of a saint you become, until you play enough Scary Maze to reach ultimate god status. Scary Maze is the best game ever created.

This asset flip is so badly done it's even using the default GameGuru launch screen and "options" page (although they did add their own crappy wallpaper)... and let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs.
You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos, toys, and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay!
The poor quality of this asset flip is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Scary Maze is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this GameGuru asset flip is impossible to recommend.
What a game. Astonishing in every way possible. Life Changing. Must have for steam profile. Love the red and green tints. Big perhaps huge even fan of the heartbeat that doesn't go away. Thank you publisher Video Game!
I want to eat out Herobrine. Like I'm not joking. His big blocky hands could go so far inside me along with his enormous Mr. Lloyd schween. I want it so badly. I want Herobrine's tasty ♥♥♥♥♥ and eat it like golden corral. Herobrine is my soul mate. I wanna ♥♥♥ on Herobrine while on that sexy red bed of his. We'll both be thrusting so hard and fast, we would probably climax together, at the same time. He's such a hot hunk of meat that I wish to eat, and when he ♥♥♥♥, I have so much fun. I'll hold tightly on his wrists, and continue to fist. I love Herobrine, and he loves me.

Scary Maze is one of the best games I've ever played in my life. It truly captures the essence of being helpless, terrified, and alone in the breath-taking environment of a boring fucking cave. The zombies are definitely the most INTERESTING form of AI I have ever seen. Truly remarkable. (It's a joke game and a funny one at that when you have 5 other friends in a discord call).
A really bad game
It's a gameguru "game" where you run through a maze, at least the name fits.
But that is where it ends , there is no gameplay, you have a slingshot and try to find an exit but the enemies pose no threat since you can just keep on running... Enemies spawn all over, even in the ground.
It's another example of a bad game, even at the low price it is not worth the time to even play it.
Yes this game is as ugly as it looks in the screenshots. Does it function? Yes it does but just barely. Scary Maze for some reason hates female zombies because they all spawn either stuck in the ground or are phasing between the physical and ethereal plane. Do yourself a favour and ignore this "game", all you need to know is that it has "memes" in the tags.

As the current world record holder for scary maze I can tell you that this game is amazing.

I love bad games. Especially bad horror games.
You know, the ones that are so bad, that they're funny, good or just silly.
But this one? Oh boy
You're in the maze, with no exit.
Two kinds of zombies, four in game models (pentagram, skulls, weird table and not lit torches), one texture around you.
How to finish this game? You can't.
I was stupid, curious and for my own sake i tried everything
I was feeling like some kind of easter egg hunter - i shot every skull, killed every enemy, checked every corner of this damned maze.
Nothing.
Wasted money, wasted time. Im sad.
Don't buy it.

a true diamond in the rough. this gem is for the hardcore horror fans only though, its just too spooky for the average consumer. This game is so enjoyable as it draws back to older horror games while still improving on the genre. i wouldn't be shocked if it wins GOTY.
10/10 best zombie game ever made.
For real though, it's garbage. Even if it would be free, it still wouldn't be even worth your time you spent on it. I bought it as a joke, I had no expectations and turns out, the joke was on me, cause it wasnt even funny.
It's just a cavern with a dirtyground.bmp warped all around you as a wall texture - filled badly with generic zombies that are barely functional. Combat is barely existent, it's dull and unengaging.
I understand someone who picked up a programming language 2-3 months ago and learned how to make something like this might be really proud of it, but it's not a game, it shouldn't be on steam and it definitely shouldn't cost money. Sad thing is, Steam is filled with junk games like this.

One weapon, a hundred mindless of the same two free default zombie assets placed without care in a massive mess of free asset tunnels we've seen 50 times already in other GameGuru garbage games...

So i've been waiting for this triple A release for about 5 years now and i'd like to say to finally play this game is such a pleasure. The game can be completed in around 10 minutes once you kill all the zombies theres not much to do, cant wait for future updates this could possibly be game of the year. just waiting the next update so there may be a finish to game, overall great game for the price and would recomend to all my friends. You just cant find a game of this magnitude and more for its price. Overall Incredible and very interesting Gameplay
