The year 2027 brought hope to a world on the brink of environmental and political collapse. On the last leg of its funding, NATO's United Space Mission (USM) made a discovery on the moon that changed the course of human history. A large alloyed sphere, found nestled in a crater under the lunar dawn, is revealed to be an alien artifact containing a message for mankind. As an international team slowly deciphered the artifact, the content of this message began catalyzing a huge leap forward in our sciences. Humanity was abruptly catapulted into a new interstellar age. There are those who now believe we were not ready.
FreeFall Tournament - a space marines themed TPS (third person shooter)
Intense, fast-paced, team combat. Animation and camera control that make you feel like a space marine...super human. Have it all: jetpacks, armor, hammers, swords, guns, bombs, in melee, ranged, and aerial combat. Tanks smashing with hammers, deadly Scouts slashing their enemies down the middle with their katana, different jetpacks for every class create dynamic aerial combat, Gunners sniping from across the map, and Tech healing and dueling while laying down turrets. Even throw f-bombs! All class specific jetpacks allow you to hop and bound across the map gaining momentum and speed.
Your team's combined skill and coordination determine the winner of this tournament. Choose to fight as one of a growing cast of classes battling in 10-20 minute matches. Please try it out, it is not like other shooters.
Key Features
10 classes: Gunner, Tank, Tech, Scout, Blazer, Blaster, Shocker, Assassin, Commando and Bomber
Class skins include multiple looks and models
Each class has 2 weapons, 2 abilities, 1 bomb type - all are unique. Some has additional R ability
Maps: Training Arena, Shuttle Bay, Moon Base, Space Station
Game modes: Team Death Match, Control Point Scramble, King of the Hill, Payload
Ranks up to Marshal
Hop with jetpack thrusts to bound across maps or Slide to take advantage of forward momentum
Target-locking enables aerial combat and fast game play
Respawn system regroups fallen teammates and balance matches dynamically
Also engage slide mode to evade fire or rapidly close in on an escaping enemy
Game Play
Two teams, Blue and Gold, compete to win matches. XP and Z Cash (the in-game currency) are given as rewards for players who complete matches. If your team wins you get more than if you lose. Players can start or quit a match at any time, but need to be present to the end in order to get rewards. Rewards are not given for individual kills.
The majority of perspective is from the 3rd person over the shoulder point of view. Cameras move in during melee combat or switch to scoped FPS view as needed to add fluid realism to game play.
Monetization
This game has a monetization system similar to League of Legends, that avoids being pay 2 win. Of the 8 classes, 2 are unlocked for free each day, and they rotate on every 1 week. You can switch back and forth among the free classes during a match. Classes are purchasable for permanent use with both in-game currency and real money. Upgrades that give small performance boosts (like "runes") are purchasable with in-game currency only. Cosmetic skins for the classes are available to purchase with real money, but do not give any benefit to the player other than looking cool and different. In-game currency and XP boosts are available to shorten the grind, but not eliminate it - hey, it's fun and we want you to play a lot of it!
Design Principles
Fun is more important than realism
Piloting futuristic battle suits should make the player feel super-human
Each class should have combat advantages and disadvantages, but not be a hard counter to another class
Every map should have features to showcase advantages of each class
One-Shotting should be very rare in normal 1v1 confrontation
Players with good tactical awareness should have opportunities to contribute to their team without requiring lightning reflexes
Conflicts should generally be won by the team that brings more troops to bear at the locus of contention. However, very skilled/lucky/tactical players should also have opportunities for 'heroic actions' that turn the tide
Players level up mainly through teamwork, not individual performance

This game is amazing! , and im a content creator for this game check my youtube channel: youtube.com/c/yusuflegendytonline
Wouldn't recommend buying it, game would be way better if there's someone who look after it.
The game is current filled with bugs and hacks, and will eventually get very unplayable..
Back when it came out - the best game ever. It would've been one of the coolest and funnest game to play, but creators abandoned it and left to die. I do still like this game but would not recommend this to anybody else.
game is great, i was enjoyed playing back in 2014, but the game is long time practically dead, only around 5-10 players active at same time, i dont have problem with price 4€ is nice support for developers, but game need some new updates like new maps, more arena modes, and some compensation for those who played before it was added to steam and then buy it here, i hope developes will come back with new update so players will return and play it again, but im affraid its not gonna happen
In terms of the game being ported and stuff, I would say they did good. It almost plays better on Steam. But the problems that came with the original game are still here, so I would say it's a 50/50 with buying the game, despite being able to play it on a website for free.
I purchased it because i used to play it with my dad in 2015.Good memories .
I cannot transfer my old account to steam, please dev helpe me =(
Good game apart from the fact nobody plays and theres barley one server full would love if people came back to the game
The game constantly crashed. It was more laggy than the browser version. Until they fix this, the downloadable version of the game is useless.
Good old school shooter. Was popular back in the days of flash still existing.
Even tho it's now a dead game it still slaps. It's fun, fast paced but the match length is a bit too much imo. Free heroes rotation and lot of fun. There are few downsides but they are usually small. Skill is optional but always welcome
The game is nice and fun but the problem is that it's not optimized at all,i have lag :) and my pc can handle 2021 games with no problems.Overall, the game deserves more players and the game devs should improve the game, fix the lag,and of course,if the game was free :).
This game is still fun but it needs to be updated.
Id say the game is dying but it has been very surprising that like 2/3rds of the servers are active the majority of the time, since i played this back in middleschool on Kongregate.com. Yeah its a Unity flash game essentially but still fun as crap to me, very nice to boot up real quickly and play a few games then jump off. One of the main features is that everyone has an auto-aim with holding right-mouse click, yeah sounds weird and it is but i cant aim for shit lol, and it puts more emphasis on timing of skills which i really like. Ive never played Tribes but in that game you can ski around real quickly, you can do that here too so it can lead to some really past paced and aerial battles. You can try it out for free on their website, just search like play freefall tournament or something, it is more laggy there so be warned.
Some Pro Tips to get started:
-USE RIGHT CLICK TO AIM
-Always keep moving, its a shooter and theres a bunch of bombs thrown at the ground so anticipate that if you can
-Use everything you can, skills, etc. (using reload on melee weapons has an alternate skill)
-Learn to use your gravity boots (Shift key), pulls you to the ground no matter what height and will slide down any downward slope, use it to gain speed, try to minimize walking if you can.
-Please capture, most of the games are domination type of victory of different spots
-Gunner is your starting class, best sniper due to its secondary gun and tactical crouch for extra crit chance. Most of your medium/close range damage will be landing your Fragmentation bombs on people, it strips them of their armor so you deal what seems like 50 or 100% more dmg to their health. (try to use it when their out of shields, since the dmg increase doesnt work while the are shields up)
-Dont be a blaster, theyre an overpowered boring cheese class.. You'll probably see a good handful of em so learn to fight em. Scout is a good counter due to its haze bomb messing up their auto-aim if they run into its influence, i love spamming concussion bombs with tank vs them, and then shocker is really nice if you have teammates so you can stun them.
Overall it def aint the best game so if you got five bucks you just feel like blowing, up to you. I like to think of it as TF2 with a bunch of master chiefs flying around shooting each other in the air.
if it was free or has at least some bonuses id buy it but it is still fun
This game is good but so many negatives are here.Firstly i want to talk about guests.many years ago this game has not guests its no probelm but we need generals room if Dev's dont move this game will die.Positives are : gameplay is very good and easy to learning and heros desing good to also skins to
Making a free to play game cost money but not removing the free to play aspects of it is pretty damn low. I never could really complain about the grind on the browser version since, well, its free, and you get what you pay for. However, making zero changes to that formula in its transition to a paid game? Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Its like if League of Legends suddenly had a $30 price tag but was just the same game with no changes whatsoever.
I really don't have many complaints in the actual game itself. It's fast, it's simple, it's fun. Every character is unique and plays their own way, as they should. The upgrade system is fine, and the cosmetics are fine, I don't mind when those sorts of things are locked behind in game currency, but when every character except the Gunner (which they force you to buy and upgrade when you start the game) is also locked behind the same MASSIVE paywall, its a bit of an annoyance.
With a little polish, this could be a fun arena shooter. Sadly, its very rough around the edges and tough to recommend.
This game is a F2P browser game (still is) which has been converted from Unity to WebGL due to a certain plugin being unsupported anymore. The reasoning behined the payment for this steam version is the increase in performance than what you would have in a browser. Plus it keeps the servers up.
The game is extremely fun to play once you master the games gravity mechanic as well as your average classes that can be compared to TF2 and other types of games. Ever wanted to be a medic and engineer at once? Pyro with wall hacks? Weild the power of Heavy's chaingun and Soldier's rocketlauncher? Then look no further.
With only 4 maps to play on and 10 classes to choose from i do find the content to be lacking especially the grind required to buy classes.
You do start off with your basic rifle gunner man but there is also a rotation of 2 other classes to use from for 6 days or so days. However it takes 80 matches for a few of the classes or 120 for some others (or so if you can win 80-120 times in a row) to unlock them.
But hey who knows this all might change in the future.
Overall it's a good game i have been enjoying it pre WebGL and it is almost exactly the same as it once was.
This game is ass. I bought it expecting a high octane, high mobility arena shooter, only to get this ASS. Everything moves like chalk on sandpaper, most heroes cost 8000 points, you get 30 per win, and the only people that play on US servers are like, mexican kids that stand still doing nothing. Buy it if you hate yourself
Don't let my gameplay hours fool you, I've been there since the start of it all (2012).
Gameplay
Mobility: Jetpacks, sliding, falling, ability. There is no sprinting, instead movement will increase gradually from walking to running speed.
Combat: Fast-paced. Hip-fire, aim, shoot, melee, explosives.
Class: 3 abilities. 2 weapons.
Recovery/Buff: The red cross will replenish your HP when touched. It will reappear after a certain amount of time.
The max amount of bombs you may hold at once are 3. To get more, touch the purple rocket. This will reappear after a certain amount of time.
"Mega" damage is the gun. This will boost your damage/healing (if support) when touched. It will reappear after a certain amount of time.
All of these will always be in the same place.
Lore
There is some background information; however, story/writing is not the focus of this game. It's an online server-based shooter.
Balance
While some classes have obvious advantages over others, everything is skill-based (so git gud).
Rank: Rank doesn't matter. There are no benefits to being ranked higher.
Shop: Skins are purely cosmetic. Upgrades barely make any difference.
Graphics/Performance
The graphics are an eyesore, even on the maximum quality. Everything looks unnatural, especially the lack of quality lighting. Overall image appears to be high-contrast, which I dislike.
Performance is much more smooth compared to the free website version. Less lag/stuttering, and higher framerate.
Optimization must be terrible for my PC to not have that smooth, butter-like experience. It's still decent at least.
Verdict
6/10 The game gets very tedious depending on the community. Map variety and gameplay options are lacking.
Dont forget that this was a browser game created in 2012, it can be much better in the future with this steam port. Gameplay is smooth and very fun. Dont be fooled by my played hours, i have played it for 6 years on browser. Its different than other shooters and deserves a go atleast. You will find it quite fun.
