This game is my biggest regret in life. If I could, I would take back al the hours I spent in this game. I could have used the hours I wasted on Rainbow six siege on creating a bussiness, getting a degree or rizz up girls. But no, I played this godforsaken game. If you cherish your life I do not recommend this game and you should stay far away.

cant say "balls" in chat in an m for mature video game. constant nerfs and buffs based on the feelings of pro players, extremely toxic community making it unplayable for new people, terrible (and i mean truly god awful) skins, cheater problem, i could go on and on. ive played over 3500 hours of this game between console and pc and i finally freed myself from the shackles and deleted this game. its great for a tactical team experience for fps veterans, but none of its greatness can justify the greedy, borderline ignorant company behind it. the best part about siege is finding out every player hates the game just as much as i do, and it is an ongoing joke that we are addicted to a great game that got turned into a steaming pile of shit.
if you are completely new, get this on game pass or just save your money.

My first-ever multiplayer shooter
Even though I dropped playing Siege a long time ago, I feel that I owe a review to this game.
I spent a lot of time in the company of nice people. We were making mini-tournaments in custom games.
I rage-quit after matches a lot due to my youthful temper back in the day. But at the same time, this rage pushed me to get better and better at the game. In the last month of playing, I achieved my goals: becoming an Entry Fragger, playing with a higher KDA, effectively communicating with my team, and learning maps. Basically, I quit when I was at my peak.
Everything went downhill because of changes to the game itself. I didn't enjoy map reworks, as they became unnecessarily larger. The Pro League was the main reason for the nerfs to operators. The most enraging moment was when the developers removed Zofia's Withstand passive ability because of a situation in the Pro League. I can't find the exact text or video due to the time that has passed, but since I watched a lot of Pro League back in the day, I remember how a team with a knocked Zofia used Withstand to revive themselves and win a match. Many other situations were also pushed from the Pro League onto regular players.
I can't even imagine how many Siege players I watched on Twitch and YouTube back in the day. I was so involved and interested in the game. I even tried cosplaying Caveira twice.
Zofia was my favorite from the Attackers. Caveira was my favorite from the Defenders. Both were amazing characters to play. I loved their weapons and abilities.
Time has passed. The game has changed a lot in a direction I don’t enjoy anymore. My in-game friends found other games. The toxicity made playing alone unenjoyable. I slowly lost interest in the Pro League and streamers until I uninstalled the game to free up space.

This game is an actual 10/10 from getting spawn peaked and having to sit on cams for an entire round to dying to a team of shields rushing you full force. I would recommend this game to anyone who doesn't have a life and has the strongest mental health because it will break you. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!! 10000/10

I've spent over 2,300 hours in this game, playing since the beta. I've loved Siege for years, but this season, Ubisoft has pushed it past the breaking point. I can no longer recommend it.
It's painfully clear Ubisoft doesn’t prioritize their PC player base. Crossplay? Console players can turn it off. PC players? Nope. You're stuck playing against console players—sometimes even cheaters who have been kicked from console for 90 days.
Ubisoft promises it’s “balanced” by giving teams a “Ghost 6th player.” to balance the skill issue. What does that balance look like in reality? A team of four console players and a PC player versus a full PC squad. When you inevitably get stomped 0-4, they’ll blame your “skill issue” instead of acknowledging the broken matchmaking system.
Rainbow Six Siege is a unique game. Ubisoft knows there’s nothing else like it, which is why they keep serving us this nonsense—because we keep coming back.
Not anymore for me. Enough is enough. Go play anything else Ubisoft wont listen until their cash cow takes a hit.

If you're a pc player you CANNOT disable crossplay, meaning whoever winds up with more console players on their team will lose. Just played a game to an 0-4 loss where all 3 of our console players went 0/4 and their one console player went 0/4, but the game was essentially 2v4 because they didn't contribute anything at all. Until they allow pc players to opt out of having console players on their team, the game is unplayable for pc players.
Too many futuristic fantasy gadgets. I miss when this game launched and it felt like an actual tactical shooter.
If you don't care about the current state of the game with the large amounts of gadgets and characters you'll have to memorize or unlock this may be the game for you if you're looking for "a" type of tactical shooter.
Mechanics are great such as shooting, leaning around cover, rappelling and building destruction. Although everything else which mostly boils down to all the futuristic tech muddies my enjoyment.
I like that Rainbow 6 is well done in terms of strategies and team play; however, it’s not very friendly for new players. There are people killing you from angles you didn’t even know existed, and the lack of an actual map of the building doesn’t help with that either. The game is a bit buggy and poorly optimized for how long it’s been out, but it’s very fun to play. Players are generally chill and will help you if you need operator recommendations or other things. The game is awesome when played with friends, and in my opinion, it’s more or less well balanced. I’d recommend it to people looking for a more tactical experience in first-person shooters. Just keep in mind you might have a bit of an uphill experience if you’re just starting out.

Ubisoft doesn´t deserve this game, because after 2k hours I still enjoy it like the first day. Same the company can´t make decent balances.
It is a very fun game with many coll features that other games don't have. it is in depth and has very few problems.
he game offers a steep learning curve but rewards teamwork and careful planning. Maps are highly destructible, and the competitive scene is vibrant, though matchmaking issues and potential for toxic behavior can be drawbacks. Regular updates, new operators, and a focus on esports have kept the game fresh and engaging since its release in 2015.

Played this games since release from console to pc. I can say it is an amazing game and you will make a lot of friends and enemies. The community is amazing but my biggest complaint is cheaters/ rage cheaters then if you have any skill in this game your automactily accused of cheating. 10/10
Perfect game if you want to crash out after one ranked match and proceed to blame your teammates. 10/10 game for when it comes to fueling your rage. I would recommend this game for people who enjoy getting mad as a way of having fun.

It's a good game when you want it to be. If you can manage the bans you will receive for disconnecting, the botters/cheaters, and overall toxic community, then yeah I'd say give her a whirl. Do be mindful of the anger that will come just from trying to boot her up, but yeah pretty fun game.

Used to be good, now the playerbase is too small and filled with people who are lvl 200+, toxic, racist, and one-tap you before you even see them. You can try to get in this game now, but only if you are a true masochist.

I cant even play my home server becuase the devs are more focused on adding pride flags in the discord than fixing their servers. The maps are also designed by 8 year old with a fresh crayola set

The game crashes in the middle of the standard match and when I try to reboot it crashes again, now I got a two hour ban for no reason.
If you want to buy this game i recommend just siting for a while and asking yourself if you really wanna go trough the worst time of your life,going against cheaters and stressing over losing rank because your randoms dont even have optic or sensory nerves then go for it.Other than that its pretty fun ngl WHO YOU CHALLIN

this "game" has given me so many issues. from crashing, random logouts, straight up bluescreening, and even my F drive disappearing until i restarted my pc. even now, after moving it to different drives, reinstalling, and everything, it still gives me issues.

I don't understand how a game can be out this long and be so popular for so long yet the devs do nothing to fix the insane amount of hackers there are. I used to play around 400 games a season until this season, which was so bad I couldn't go a single game without someone spin botting or hard walling and never getting rollback. Like if ubi doesn't care about their game this much there isn't going to be another Jynxi to revive the game once it dies again. That's why ubi is going bankrupt. Trash ass dev team who does not care about their player base. All they care about is the pro scene which doesn't make them near as much money as the general playerbase does. Please ubi fix this game so maybe i can actually find enjoyment in playing this game again.
Voice Chat shuts off mid game. This happens a lot! This game is unplayable without voice comms... We need a fix.
Was playing a Standard match when there was a connection error and it kicked me out. I tried to join back but it gave me a 60 minute penalty before I could join back, gave me no chance.
Ubisoft is terrible at making software. Their inability to work with Windows UAC after 15 years is a testament to their ignorance and muleheaded wrongness. No game should require administrator access to run. No game should need a kernel tap to handle anti-cheat. Get it together Ubisoft. Figure out your life.
It is so freaking hard to just get the game to launch. steam, ubi, battle eye, logins upon log ins, there are easier games to actually get to play.

This game is fun and enjoyable. I love getting ranked teammates who are as smart as a toddler with down syndrome and play like it too. I go 10-0 for the rest of my team to be going 0-10, once your past level 50 it's torture. I would rather be fed crippled maggots than play this game. The people are so nice and I don't get called 60 racial slurs in one ranked game, and the updates totally aren't useless as hell or unwanted as hell! 10/10 game would reccommend.

The hours on my profile aren't accurate, I have much more lmao. Ending my final season's ranked grind in Siege after years of frustration felt parallel to that of a junkie finally getting clean. Losing my diamond rank-up match in the season’s final hour to cheaters was the last straw, the final nail in the coffin that had already seen its fair share of "last nails." It was like dropping the spoon, shattering the needle, and realising the lighter had run out of fuel. There was no more desire for the grind. I just needed one last fix: to hit diamond with the boys and leave behind the season's disappointments. That diamond charm, would have made the grind worthwhile, But I was robbed of that satisfaction when I checked R6 Tracker and saw a level 70-odd player with a 28 K/D.
Downloading CS felt like my first day of sobriety. The change started a bit shaky with the recoil and movement, but I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. My sponsor (a mate with 5K hours) guided me toward a reality I had been blind to. I had been consumed by ELO, losing 80 and gaining 25, it felt as if the next high was so far beyond reach. I vision of the end of the tunnel was corroded by prep phases and droning, blurred by holding pixels, and striped from me by explosive corridors, shields, prickly mines, deployable concrete walls, razer-bombs, blinding poke-balls among other nonsense gadgets that serve to show now skill. In CS, I felt like a normal player again, where my aim mattered more than hiding behind an arsenal of gadgets.
I no longer care about ranks or winning. All I do is B-Hop, JB, and edge bug my way around the map dogging on players with 2K more hours than me. Ranking up or de-ranking, winning or losing, I don't care. TK'ing Turkish teammates and getting hackusations by Russians is all I need to feel a sense of accomplishment although I will settle for less.
This game consumed my life and affected my emotions beyond gaming. The toxic community and indifferent developers left me fighting to enjoy the player experience, compounded by cheaters who manipulate their way to the top. In Siege, there’s no real victory; something will always taint the experience. But now, I’m free, a liberated man, free from an illness, a disease, a virus, a sickness, an infection and the anguish of this toxic cycle.
