funny game until u play mm and get 4 rusian geays and they start talking how i can be mentaly stabled
Its a very good game and here is the advantages:
1-learning russian for free
2-rage quit
3-VAC can ban every one except the cheaters
4-Losing money because of opening the case
5-CS Knives are more expensive than real world knives
But honestly,Csgo was better
this game sucks
so valve fix them If you can
Great game got into it not that long ago and pulled knife and gloves sold them for 1000$ ended up getting scammed by this guy https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199418385433 10/10 experience
Billions in revenue from cases alone but cannot develop a working Anti-Cheat
WAY too many cheaters. Trust factor is BS: if you're a good player, you just get reported by noobs and get stuck in cheaters queue.
The game is full of noob cheaters and it's not worth the time. Gaben does not care at all.
Great game, 5v5 search and destroy, if your an adult. great gambling simulator, who knows when that knife will hit or even gloves XD Goodluck out there Soldier!
Counter-Strike 2 Review: A Frustrating Experience with Cheats and Stagnation
As a long-time fan of the Counter-Strike franchise, I was excited to dive into Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) with high hopes for a fresh and balanced gameplay experience. However, after considerable hours invested in the game since its release, I find myself increasingly disappointed and frustrated with its current state.
First and foremost, the rampant cheating in CS2 has taken away from the core gameplay experience. It’s disheartening to see well-known cheating tools and aimbots flooding the servers, making matches feel less about skill and more about who can exploit the game better. The lack of effective anti-cheat measures has led to a scenario where many players, including myself, are often left questioning whether our defeats are a result of genuine skill discrepancies or the presence of cheaters. This is especially disheartening given the competitive nature of the game, where every match should feel earned and legitimate.
Moreover, I was hoping that CS2 would see regular updates that would enhance gameplay and address community feedback. Unfortunately, the updates have been sparse and lack the depth and impact that we desperately need. Whether it's tweaking weapon balance, fixing bugs, or introducing new content, the lack of meaningful updates has created a stagnant environment that fails to keep players engaged or excited about the game. It feels like Valve is stuck in a holding pattern, and the community is left with the same old grievances.
It’s also worth mentioning that the progression and reward systems could use a serious overhaul. Compared to its predecessors, the current system feels unnecessarily grindy, and without significant gameplay changes or invigorating new modes, the motivation to keep grinding diminishes.
In conclusion, while CS2 has the potential to be a phenomenal entry in the Counter-Strike series, the overwhelming presence of cheats and the lack of substantial updates have marred the experience for many players, including myself. I truly hope that Valve can address these issues and reignite the community's passion for the game, but as it stands, CS2 is a reminder of what could have been rather than a shining emblem of improvement. Here’s to hoping for change in the near future.
The lack of effective Anti-Cheat forces veteran players that wish to take this game seriously to play on 3rd party clients, which divides the community massively. However unfortunately as it stands there are also cheat bypasses for popular 3rd party clients too such as FACEIT. It feels as if Valve cares more about the economy of the skin market than they do about the actual gameplay which is understandable looking at the annual turnover of cases. I'm not going to recommend this game untill they add PROPER ANTI-CHEAT.
I bought prime for 15 usd and 5 armory passes. I spent a total of 95 usd. And what do I get? And what I get is cheaters in every matchmaking who are not banned by VAC and reports are useless.
Love being cheated on but hate going through the "talking stage"? Well I got good news for you. In this game you can get cheated on for free or pay to be cheated on, and with our new graphics of cs2 you can do it in 4k 144hz saturation 200%. You can also buy new skins so you can look super dope and sick like a skater boy from tony hawk's pro skater 2 on the ps2.
anyways guys, enjoy the derank
With the latest patch, it is like a buggy early-access game.
More cheaters than on Tinder
Overall great game, just plagued with cheaters.
ruined csgo when cs2 rolled out, game runs like shit unless you have a powerhouse pc. i beg we get csgo as a separate game
I've been playing Counter-Strike since 2014 and have accumulated close to 5000 hours across multiple accounts and I can comfortably say that I would not recommend this game in it's current state.
Premier was one of the worst ideas Valve has ever had, they introduced a game mode centered around global leaderboards without implementing the 1 thing that everyone has requested since CS:GO's release.. An effective Anti-Cheat. Now, I'm not saying that they have not attempted to do this with the announcement of AI learning being incorporated into VAC but this simply is not enough with how sophisticated cheats really are today and the bypasses in place for active monitoring. Looking at Counter-Strike's direct competitors (Valorant) I believe it's time to implement a kernel level Anti-Cheat to allow a level playing field for both new and veteran players. This isn't completely effective in Valorant but it acts as a huge deterrent for cheaters that do not understand how cheats actually function and makes it a huge amount more difficult for the creators of these cheats to constantly provide updates and bypasses.

I really do hope that in the future I can return to this review and provide an update that invalidates all of the points I made above, however at this point in time (04/01/2025) I sadly do not see this happening soon.
Counter-Strike has been a huge part of my life and I've met some life long friends during my time playing, please revive my love for this game Valve.
Update (09/01/25): Perfect timing on this review, instead of improving any feature at all in the latest update they just decided to break the ragdoll physics and weapon inspect animations instead..
This could be the best FPS game in the world, but the anticheat is terrible, which causes more and more cheaters, and more and more players to stop playing.
But besides that I think it's an amazing game, but the anticheat is really essential in the game... and as this one is not very good, it is what spoils the game many times...
I’ve been playing Counter-Strike 2 for more than a year now, and it’s been an amazing ride. The revamped maps like Dust II hit you right in the nostalgia while looking better than ever. The new smoke mechanics and sub-tick updates add some cool twists, but the core CS feel is still there - sharp gunplay and intense moments that keep you hooked.
Yeah, cheaters can ruin the fun at times, but don’t blame the game for it. CS2 has always been about skill, strategy, and of course, teamwork, and it continues to deliver on that front.
Overall Rating: 9/10. Always Remember - Legends play Counter Strike.
Game is plagued with cheaters and hackers, 5 in just 3 casual matches. The only way will get better someday is with hardware bans.
Too many cheaters. The game is dead. Vac isnt working
Great game. On my 8th official competitive game I encountered 2 guys who knew everytime where we were and on the 9th game I had 2 guys in my team looking at the ground and killing everybody and 2 enemies killing us with sniper through walls (cheaters). However, the game saw it and cancelled the match. Good job guys! Keep up the good work. I highly recommend Counter-Strike 2. I wish there was an option to calibrate our mouse acceleration or input etc.
Game is full of cheaters and not playable anymore. This is very sad. The developers don't seem to care at all.
Absolute trash. Full of cheaters. FULL. Valve is retardet company to make a fucking anticheat system for 10 years. If u dont have a cheater in your game somebody on your team is going to leave and abandon the game. TRASH
I played CS with a dream,
But cheaters made me scream.
Through walls they see,
With aim that's spree,
It's more hack than game, it seems!
- fix random cash issues
- add new skins
- add more gamemodes
- add a better anti cheat
- ban wave all these cheaters
- fix and update your game
Better than any psychiatric therapy. 10/10
Не покупайте прайм. за 1600 вы получите хвх сервер. Хуесосы ебаные на разработчиках.
апдейт 31,12,2024г. Всё намного хуже, никогда сюда не заходите и не покупайте ничего. игра мертва.
This is peace of sh!t because of cheaters. I cant join one game without someobne cheating. Some people spent their whole wealth on this game and csgo cant buy better anticheates. This is misserable.
This game is especially bad when it comes to cheaters. From what I've seen VAC acts as a screen door on a submarine. No way to surrender without a teammate sacrificing themselves and leaving the game.
Generally, massive falloff after CS:GO. Generational fumble by Valve. Tragic. Play Siege instead.
this game is full of cheaters, its unplayable, never coming again, shame on u gaben
I hate it.
They deleted most of the casual gamemodes (including my favorite - TDM (FFA is too chaotic for my retarded ass)).
They introduced that stupid "Loadout" system that actually lowers the amount of weapons available for purchase.
The update/game was released with much less content than GO had, and a year later there is still a lot missing.
The game is almost unplayable on lower end systems.
Instead of an operation, they introduced another cash grab where you can spend your money on an opportunity to grind for a chance to gamble or receive a "Piss-Stained" skin for the Deagle (Field-Tested).
And so on and so forth...
But the worst of all - they basically deleted CS:GO and replaced it with this joke of a game.
Fuck you Valve!
CSGO --> CS2 Revision
Pros:
Same CS core feel
Premier being focus is refreshing
Skins being updated/tweaked as needed
Creative direction of Maps is promising
Cons:
Subtick feels like everyone is just lerping.
Lack of community server support
Lack of VAC/Overwatch "presence"
Map Pool is weak
Zero operations since release
FPS issues on high end specs
Server side jitter on true fiber connection (confirmed via Dev AMA)
Raw Input override resets to mouse accel on each update (see convars)
Removed "CSGO" support in favor of a rebrand.
Comments:
I just really hope the dev team gets the support they need to make this the best game possible. CSGO at the end was so polished and it feels like we went back in time to 2012 and have to start all over. I never fully grasped the purpose of the rebrand. CS 1.6, CS CZ, CSS, CSGO were all stand alone games, and CS2 should be as well. Each game has its place and if the main concern is skins then that sounds like they should probably not encourage sketchy gambling within their game. Plenty of games thrive without a "market". It is also not impossible to maintain a "CSGO and CS2 "shared" Inventory" and hard lock new CS2 items from being used in CSGO.
Current State:
2.5 Stars out of 5.
I have played many versions of this game and I am aware that people cheat and sometimes it becomes hard to tell when people are cheating or legitimately better. In ranking I made it to Distinguished Master Guardian and started to see losses that were absolute or games that were a tie. Even the games that were a tie felt like people were toggling exploits. It's time for me to stop dedicating time, emotion and energy into something that no longer feels fulfilling. Congratulations to the dev team that got all the money I spent on skins. It's too bad they don't care about the game. I enjoyed playing for a long time until now.
VAC is broken. Lobbies are full of miserable little rats that are somehow enjoying their life using hacks on a fucking video game. Do not even think of trying until they somehow fix it. Fucking uninstalled.
Full of cheaters, Anti-Cheat doesn't work, Not Optimized
This game is full of cheaters. Every few months, valve gives temporary ban to a few but doesn't permanent ban them and they come back and the cycle repeats. It would be one of the best games if it implemented hard policies like permanent ban or restarting competitive/premier level/elo for cheaters.
The unwanted shadow of CSGO used to be able to play this on my lower end PC but ever since the gambling cash grab armory battle pass update the games performance has significantly deteriorated, Everytime i play anything other than dust 2 or mirage on competitive the game becomes unplayable, went from having 200 fps on csgo to being unable to play the game i loved whatsoever! Thanks alot valve!
Like in the adv clip, for over 2 decades CS and valve team can`t make anti cheat that will ban cheaters. This game it total crap with the toxic community and cheaters that will ruin your matchmaking.
And as adv says "What u see is what u dont get", because it`s broken even now and the amaunt of cheaters in game is absolutly insane.
The game is good, the story is just top, but let's run through the minuses:
1. lack of vehicles (on the maps it is present, but for some reason you can not use it);
2. You can not crawl and look out from behind the corner (crouching is present);
3. You can't build a base and collect resources;
4. You can't tame pets except chickens;
5. Interaction with non-player characters to get quests is not provided;
6. Primitive parkour system;
7. Open world? There is no such thing here;
8. The intelligence of bots that play with you in competitive matches leaves much to be desired;
9. Poor arsenal of melee weapons;
10. No PvE and zombie mode;
11. No character pumping (maybe I'm wrong and just haven't found which button opens the menu of improvements, as there are enemies who have open the ability to see through walls and pumped marksmanship at 1000%).
i had a bad experience with this game because of a hacker who can see us behind the walls all 5 of my teammates reported him and nothing happened
please for you own sake, dont get hooked on this game. Or atleast know the risk to your mental health.
10/10 would play again tomorrow.
Counter-Strike 2 refreshes the iconic game with improved graphics, smoother mechanics, and new features while preserving its tactical essence. A must-play for fans and newcomers alike.
- Cheating issues in CS2, even in premier or competitive mode. (ranking matches)
- random server crash or spikes which doesn't happen on other games.
- barely any communication in premier or competitive mode. (player base problem, mostly russian)
not very recommend
What to expect? full of cheaters lack of updates really need a lot of improvements
- VAC still sucks c*ck and balls.
- Sub-tick servers still suck c*ck and balls.
- Case odds still suck c*ck and balls.
- It's still better than Valorant, but that ain't saying much because that sh*t sucks major c*ck and balls.
[*]HOWEVER, graphics look as nice as my c*ck and balls.(super nice, take my word for it)
Recommended only because CSGO was murdered for this shell of a replacement, Valorant is an e-couple cringe fest with overwatch abilities, and there's no other competition in this category.
That being said, when Cache returns, this game becomes 10/10.
never even played this game before but it do be playing kinda when it do be doing it but sometimes you know how it be when it do be doing something else than you wanted it to be doing at a certain time and place but yeah something like that
the new anti-cheat is amazing guys, only meet like 7 cheaters in my past 5 games :D I can see valve is improving day by day.
Valve do absolutely nothing to stop cheaters or toxic behaviour in this game. You can almost guarantee every match will have at least one person wall hacking or the even more obvious aim bots. There's instances where some servers will have multiple AI bots going at once so you can't even kick them. I only play with some friends I've made online to try and avoid it, but even that is rare.
The toxic behaviour I've come across as a female player is also incredibly bad, but again Valve do nothing about this either. I'm used to it having played these games for around 15 years, but it's a shame that still nothing is done about it these days.
Reporting anything gets you nowhere.
The game is also missing so many maps and modes that used to exist on previous versions of CS. If I didn't enjoy those random days with friends online I would just go ahead and uninstall it.
don't play this game. too much cheater. my newbie friends first impression of this game is suck. 5 out of 5 game met cheater. the cheat that they use is looking at the ground and shoot, jump faster than us, all headshot.
Massive Cheater and more massive Server Problems! How can a million dollar franchise provide such bad network settings that you have to face so many jitter problems. Valve please start fixing the game than bringing new skins...
it sucks!
too many hackers with walls/aimbot, they dont get banned for years. thats why i stopped playing many years ago, i came back to find its even worse now, theyre in every game.
If you thought the gameplay and matchmaking issues were bad, just wait until you encounter CS2's thriving population of cheaters. This game isn’t just a playground for hackers—it’s their personal kingdom, where they run unchecked and unchallenged. Aimbots, wallhacks, spinbots—you name it, and you’ll see it in almost every match. What’s worse is that Valve doesn’t seem to care.
VAC: A Dinosaur of Anti-Cheat Systems
Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) is the same antiquated system they’ve been parading around for years, and it’s utterly useless in Counter-Strike 2. Cheaters laugh at it as they blatantly ruin match after match. VAC bans, if they ever come, happen weeks after the damage is done—long enough for the cheater to create a new account and start the cycle all over again. It’s not just ineffective; it’s insulting.
A Cheater's Paradise
Cheaters have become so rampant in CS2 that it feels like they outnumber legitimate players in ranked matches. The sheer audacity of some of these hackers—openly mocking their opponents while flaunting their cheats—shows just how toothless Valve’s response is. Even in supposedly "high-rank" games, the presence of cheaters destroys any sense of competition or fairness.
False Promises and Empty Words
Valve promised improvements to anti-cheat for CS2, but what we got is a hollow PR statement with zero tangible results. If anything, the situation has worsened. Features like kernel-level anti-cheat, used by competitors like Riot’s Vanguard, aren’t even on the table. Instead, players are left to report cheaters manually, which feels like screaming into the void.
Impact on the Community
The cheater infestation has turned the once-loyal Counter-Strike community into a bitter, disillusioned group. Legitimate players are abandoning the game in droves, leaving only the cheaters and those masochistic enough to endure this broken experience. CS2’s potential for competitive play has been utterly destroyed by Valve’s negligence.
Counter-Strike 2 isn’t just failing to deal with cheaters—it’s actively enabling them. At this point, calling the game “unplayable” is generous. Valve’s refusal to take anti-cheat measures seriously is the ultimate betrayal to its player base. This isn’t just a problem—it’s a catastrophe.
