The game is unplayable. Every time when you shoot a bullet is like you spin a roulette. Sometime is going in the upper left of the crosshair other time in the upper right or bottom left or bottom right and if you are lucky is going in the middle where is supposed to go. If you don't believe me, just enter a game and single shoot the weapon at the wall. I paid for the prime to stop playing with cheaters but I feel like if you don't play with a wallhack at least you don't have what to do on the official servers. I reached lvl 10 to play premier but even there are cheaters. I think I will search for a private server that are punishing the cheaters. Sadly they are not giving experience. I can't recommend this game when CS 1.6 is better in every possible way and he was released in 2000.
I’ve always been a fan of the Counter Strike, but when I finally decided to buy Counter Strike 2, I hesitated. Due to some past unjust VAC bans, I didn’t dare buy the game on my main account, so I couldn’t play with my friends at the time. Looking back, I realize how foolish that was. Now, my friends aren’t around anymore, and I deeply regret not enjoying those moments with them.
The game itself is incredible — refined gameplay, great graphics, and a solid community. But the time I missed out on still lingers with me. If you’re thinking about getting into the game, don’t make the same mistake I did. Cherish the time with your friends, because you never know how quickly it can slip away.
Тhe game had potential, but it's completely ruined by the overwhelming number of hackers. It's frustrating and unfair, making it almost unplayable. Developers need to take action before it's too late.
The worst servers in terms of ping. The most toxic players, the most cheated servers and no anti-cheat. Valve, when will you wake up!
I love this game, but I feel like I'd love it more if I played CS:GO; I never got around to playing the original CS:GO, and everyone keeps telling me CS2 is worse. Best FPS game I've ever played though, and I'm not even a fan of FPS games...
best fps game exept when a russian guy starts screaming at u for no reason
Go outside. Exercise. Read a good book. Connect with God. Go do something else, anything else... to prevent yourself from never taking accountability, growing angry, and wallowing in self-pity.
cs2? at first I thought it was a free game until I saw my teammates knife would turn.
some idiots like to put the blame on u when they can't beat it.
If u win, hell say nice or good gun.
This game ruined my family, I sold the cottage and the car, and bought a knife. While playing, I realized I like male voices... 'I guess I'm gay' kept echoing in my head.
No, no, no, I'm just bisexual.
But I digressed, it's just a great game, but I'm dying inside... xixi
I have been playing counter-strike since it was a mod, before Valve bought the rights and before steam was even a thing. I have had no issues until CS:GO where hackers seemed to go unchecked and if you tried to report anyone valve wouldn't let you for a time and said they have a full proof anti-cheat method. CS2 was coming out and I was excited for it since it would be an upgrade to visuals and gameplay. It has some improvements but hackers are still a problem more in comp and premier than in casual surprisingly.
Steam from the articles I have read are using AI and a report from another player to catch cheaters now, this however is showing false positives, there are videos discussing this in more detail where the number of "caught" cheaters has increased exponentially. I myself have not cheated in any game, ran any scripts, etc. Yet I have now been punished twice in two different pods of 5 despite no actual vac bans and no word on who was even suspected of cheating, instead we get a generic message of "Irregular Gameplay" and the whole team is penalized. First time was 20 hours, I figured I just won't play with those guys again as I only knew one of them anyways. The second time I met 3 clan guys friended one of them and ran with one of their friends and the match ended early. We were losing both matches by a lot and we suspected the top frag player on the other team of hacking given how great he was compared to everyone else. The second time was a 3 day cooldown and since I don't hack I opened a steam ticket and almost 3 days later there is no response. I have spent a lot of money on opening cases and everything so I find it very crappy that Steam/Valve has decided to ignore my ticket and derank me a second time on premier when I was not cheating at all.
I have friends who play premier and I want to play with them which is why I was getting my rank up which peak was around 3500 which isn't very high. Most of my friends got theirs up to 10k+ and the game doesn't allow you to play if the level difference is too high, which I understand the reason is so players don't get boosted. My issue now is that I am forced to play with full randos as if I join a stack, I risk getting cooldowned again or banned if someone else is cheating or has "Irregular Gameplay".
I will still play the game but I don't see a point in trying to do comp or premier anymore nor do I see the point in spending money in a game that allows actual cheaters to play the game while penalizing those it just thinks might be cheating. This makes me want to go to back to COD but most of my friends play CS2. If you are looking for a game to play competitive this game is definitely not it.
Cheating is not the only reason not to get this game, CS2 has been out for 2 years and I was a little down that they eliminated a lot of maps, but they brought new versions at the same time. They announced they were bringing new maps, for hostage rescue, there are only 2 maps where before we had more. I would have thought that we would get 2 new hostage maps but both times they released 2 maps for a total of 4, they were defusal maps and the first two weren't for casual or comp but only wingman (2 v2). They release skins and they are nice but cheating is a problem, since Q3 of last year flagging accounts who aren't cheating has been a problem and we still only have 2 hostage maps that one has always been since beta the other since 2000, 25 years old. Meanwhile most of the defusal maps are newer or have had major upgrades to design layout.
If you already own the game, sure you can keep playing it but if Valve/Steam continues in the direction they have been headed they will destory the player base for this game. If you don't own this game, I do not recommend you buy it and purchase price is they charge money to play premier/comp, 15 dollars. It isn't worth it.
It doesn't matter if you have 100 hours of playtime, 1000 hours, or even 5000 hours, you will remain a noob forever. There are enough cheaters in the game to make you drop the game, but once you get caught up in this endless addiction, there is no turning back.
its got a learning curb but its still a fun time for you and friends
Basically towards the end of every game its 80% hack vs hack and you just stand there and wait for it to end, fuck valve honestly
Will cause years of trauma and emotional turmoil as well as spark the development and foundation for your newfound gambling addiction all while you spiral into crippling alcoholism and nicotine habits
I really like the game but cheaters are ruining the experience i don't mind the other problems so much but cheaters are destroying everything , in a game that is full tactical and needs so much of practice and hours from your life i cant stand that almost in every premier (ranked) match is at-least one cheater its just sad !!!!
you can't play 1 premier game anymore without someone using some kind of hack -.- its almost sad how bad things have got... after they put this game up for free its 50% hackers... Valve do your job and fix it before people leave.
"Counter-Strike 2" was supposed to be a big step forward for the legendary series, but instead, it feels like an unfinished product riddled with issues. While the visuals have been upgraded, the gameplay suffers from serious bugs, poor optimization, and an unpredictable hit registration system.
The biggest disappointment is the lack of true innovation—rather than a revolution, we got minor cosmetic changes. Many players complain about worse movement responsiveness and strange server behavior, which is unacceptable in a game that relies on precision shooting. Additionally, the community feels divided, with many CS:GO veterans feeling forced into a version that doesn't live up to its predecessor.
If you were expecting a fresh experience, you might be in for a major letdown. As it stands, Counter-Strike 2 feels more like a chaotic beta than a worthy successor to the iconic game. 🫤
great game have thoroughly enjoyed it..
only issue is obviously the cowards that choose to cheat and use hacks.
This game has two sides, "Cyka Blyat Rush B" or Cheaters in the closet sucking dick for fun. Recommend if you really hate yourself and looking for the final reason why.
Terrible fucking game. Bunch of cheaters and Valve sucks ass
many many cheetas, many many rage, i still play :(
Okay, I have over 1,000 hours in CS:GO. And somehow, despite all the blood, sweat, and keyboard rage I’ve poured into this game, I’m still here—writing a review about how much I absolutely despise it.
But… I love it. I really do. CS:GO is like the toxic ex you can’t quit—every time you swear it off, it pulls you back in with a clutch play or a smooth headshot that makes you think, “Maybe I’m actually good at this.” Spoiler: I’m not.
The community? Oh, it’s a beautiful dumpster fire. It's like walking into a room full of people who think they’re the next esports prodigy while you’re just over here trying to figure out how to properly throw a flashbang without blinding yourself. It’s a chaotic mess where everyone is a god, and I am the unfortunate 13-year-old with a voice crack trying to explain why I didn’t buy armor because I just had enough money for a deagle. “BUY A DEFUSER!” they yell, even though I was the one who defused the bomb last round, you ungrateful pixel warrior.
The language in this game? Oh boy. It's like a master class in toxic masculinity and insecurity. I’ve never heard so many grown men act like their whole identity hinges on being the best at a 10-year-old game. It’s always the same—guys who are so insecure about their skill who’ve convinced themselves that yelling at random strangers online will somehow make them feel better about their lives.
Let’s talk about the maps. The first time I played Dust 2, I thought, “Wow, this will be a classic.” Now, every time I hear the telltale sound of a grenade or molotov—I just pray for a quick death so I don’t have to hear it again. That sound is like the game’s way of reminding me: you’re never escaping this nightmare.
Somehow, I keep coming back. It’s like I’m addicted to the pain. The matchmaking system? More like "matchmaking mystery." Every time I join a game, I’m greeted by a mix of 12-year-olds who think they’re in Call of Duty and people who are just aggressively shouting in their mics. "I’m a pro" says one guy with a 1-8 K/D. Alright, buddy, sure.
But you know what? I love it. There’s something about CS:GO that keeps me coming back. Sure, I’ve had my heart broken by the game more times than I can count (many, many, many opened cases with nothing but blue skins of despair), but every time I hear the sweet sound of the bomb ticking down, or the satisfying clink of a headshot, I remember why I keep playing.
Would I recommend this game to anyone? Well, yes, but only if you’re ready to experience frustration, confusion, and an unhealthy dependency on substances. CS:GO is like that abusive relationship that always promises it’ll get better, but deep down, we all know the truth: it won’t.
But hey, I’ll still be playing tomorrow.
1/10, but like, a 10/10 for masochism.
also Valve, your anti-cheat system is like a fire extinguisher that only works when there’s no fire. It bans me for breathing too loudly, but hackers are out here flying around the map like it’s GTA. Maybe it's time for VAC to actually start working instead of just pretending it's on the job while hackers run wild.
Counter-Strike 2 – Not Bad. But the DLC, Operations, Anti-Cheat, No More Predatory Gambling, and the New DLC Gamemodes?? Actually Fantastic.
Okay, so I think I might be one of the few who’s actually enjoying this more than Global Offensive. Maybe it’s because of the new engine, maybe it’s because of the DLC & Operations, or maybe just because CS2 finally feels fresh. But let’s be real—the DLC is what really makes this game stand out. The DLC maps? Easily some of the best added in years, making every match feel less repetitive. The DLC skins? Gorgeous. And the DLC gamemodes? This is what really sets CS2 apart from CS:GO—there’s finally variety.
Gunplay is still as solid as ever, but the DLC weapons add just enough variety without breaking balance. And the DLC character models? They actually look great this time—no more weird CS:GO agent skins that didn’t fit the style. The DLC animations? A massive improvement—everything feels smoother, more polished. Even the DLC-exclusive cosmetics feel like they actually put effort into them instead of just throwing in random skins.
BUT THE ANTI-CHEAT, THOUGH. Finally, Valve did something. VAC Live actually bans cheaters mid-match, which is both hilarious and a game-changer. No more wasting 30 minutes only to get destroyed by a spinbotter. And the DLC anti-cheat updates? Matchmaking actually feels fair now. They even cancel the match if a cheater is caught, so you don’t lose your rank. Honestly, this alone makes CS2 ten times better than CS:GO ever was. Plus, the DLC operations introduce more ways to play that don’t just feel like a grind.
And FINALLY, something I’ve been asking for for YEARS: they got rid of the predatory gambling mechanics. And the best part? The DLC content doesn’t rely on loot boxes. No more random gambling disguised as fun. The game is actually about skill and gameplay now, not just a casino wrapped in an FPS. The DLC packs actually give you what you pay for, instead of making you roll the dice. This is a huge win, and it’s about time Valve actually listened to me.
And the best part? The DLC added so many new gamemodes. Classic competitive is still the main focus, but now we’ve got real variety. The DLC 2D RPG mode? Perfect if you want a break from ranked. The DLC tactical ops mode? A cool twist on the usual bomb defusal. And my personal favorite, the DLC co-op missions—actually fun, well-designed, and worth playing. Instead of just running the same matches over and over, the DLC gamemodes finally make CS2 feel complete.
Matchmaking still has some issues, but at least the DLC Operation playlists give us new ways to play. Also, the DLC casual mode actually feels structured instead of just a warm-up for ranked. DLC Operation missions are way more interesting, not just boring “plant the bomb 67 times” challenges. The DLC content in general just adds so much more to do.
Overall, it’s still Counter-Strike at its core, but the DLC, Operations, Anti-Cheat improvements, the removal of predatory loot boxes, and the incredible variety of new gamemodes make it feel better than ever. If you didn’t like CS:GO before, this probably won’t change your mind—but for me? The DLC alone makes it worth playing!
Base game? 6/10. With the DLC, Operations, and gamemodes? 11/10. Truly a labor of love.
cs2 is free , but I'm paying my sanity for it
cheaters telling me I'm the cheater
cheaters telling me they turned on their wall hack because they didn't like my mustache
cheaters act like we don't know they are cheating
cheaters one tap me and tell me its skill issue
cheaters pretend they don't use cheats so make the game 12-12 and I have to pay more sanity to play
i recommend this game 👍
Game was ruinied by russians, give them their own server so they can play and cheat against eachother.
No communication at all, or a lifestory in russian 99% of the team cares about.
Get them out of the EU Servers
Counter-Strike 2 has a unique style, similar to Counter-Strike 1.5/1.6, but there are a ton of cheaters in the game. Even when I report them through support, the response is always that it's enough in-game, but I continue to lose against cheaters. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when losing points in premier.
I recommend that Premier Points and stats should not be affected when playing against cheaters. It seems like the developers don’t care about the players’ frustration, which is ruining the game. You are hurting the community.
I’ve been playing CS since 1999, but the lack of action against cheaters is disappointing. Cheaters are not being banned, and players don’t get notifications about bans, unlike games such as PUBG. Losing to cheaters feels like a waste of time.
Deathmatches and Premier mode are both filled with cheaters, and Valve’s anti-cheat system is not effective. At the very least, use AI to detect player behavior and flag potential cheaters for investigation. Watching replays makes it clear when someone is cheating.
Why do I pay the price for developers’ failure to fix cheaters? If Valve can’t fix this, at least implement a fair system, like Rainbow Six Siege, where players get points back when cheaters ruin the game. A typical match in CS2 lasts 30-50 minutes, including overtime—am I just playing to waste my time?
I want to achieve a high Premier Rank, but it's impossible when lower ping players dominate. I don’t like shooting at a player’s head when they’re not even on my screen. Ping differences are a huge problem. For instance, with 68ms, I shouldn't have to play against someone with 1ms, which gives them an unfair advantage. Recoil and hitboxes aren't the same for everyone, making the game feel unbalanced.
At the very least, implement an MMR system based on ping—subtract 35ms from the player's current ping. I’d be okay with a 30ms difference, but anything more, like a 20ms advantage, changes the outcome of the game. My bullets don’t register properly, and I get killed due to the difference.
And then there’s support—when I report cheaters, I sometimes include a YouTube link to the video of them cheating. And what does support say? "We can’t open the YouTube link." Are you telling me to just shut up? Really? It's YouTube, come on! This is a vital tool to provide clear evidence, and they can’t even open it? If your platform can't provide a clean way to view replays or get media over 10MB, at least accept YouTube links.
Until these issues are addressed, the game will continue to feel unfair for me and other players, we all love when its a fair and clean game BUT NOT WITH CHEATERS... is there any cheat business out there!!!!!
Full of cheaters, Valve doesn't give a shit about the game. Only redeeming thing is cases.
Who gives good comment to this game ? Cheaters ? Yea its good for them because Valve is sleeping nobody cares about cheaters.
Still the best realistic 5v5 game.
i was playing css back in 2005.. stopped playin in 2008
now i came back and its insane.. the skins are crazy but nice. i love it
what can i say more... rb6 is a very very cheap game against cs2
played it now for 70hrs and im addicted now. fine.
Big plus = russians are less toxic as back in the days blyaaat
i love russia, ukraine, slovaka players <3 always funny af
house of wallers and aimbotters. beautiful server maintenance makes the game playable, if i was physically retarded.
no content, cheaters in almost every game, 'what you see is what you get' is a joke.
it's a waste of time. I should have realised earlier. :(
The morons at VALVE are not intelligent enough to make an anti-cheat system to catch and ban all of the cheaters in the game at every level, premier, match making or casual. Their programmers are probably some low paid illegal immigrants that have about 12 hours of programming experience total.
Valve really f'ed up this game. Super unoptimized, unstable FPS, lots of cheaters, subticks are a joke.
Should only be installed if you require the in-game skin viewer.
Even with Prime matchmaking, cheaters still ruin the experience. It’s frustrating to buy a game expecting fair play, only to face cheaters in almost every lobby. Until Steam improves VAC, I can't recommend it.
This Game is made for noobs who only plays with hacks. Alot of hackers are playing each game you enter so its a waste of everyones time. Unless u download a hack u can play
good if you want up to 24 rounds of abysmal dogshit, but also good if you want to shoot terrorists or commit terrorism
Pick your poison, either way you'll end up £500 in debt and in need of selling one of your kidneys to make up next month's rent.

Counter-Strike 2 is the long-awaited upgrade to one of the most iconic FPS games in history. Built on the Source 2 engine, it brings improved graphics, enhanced responsiveness, and a reworked smoke grenade system that adds more tactical depth. But does it truly feel like a step forward?
Pros:
✅ Visual & Performance Upgrade: The move to Source 2 provides crisper visuals, better lighting, and improved physics, making the game feel more modern while retaining its classic style.
✅ Responsive Gameplay: CS2 maintains the tight, skill-based mechanics that make Counter-Strike a masterpiece in competitive shooters.
✅ New Smoke Mechanics: Dynamic smoke grenades that interact with bullets and explosions add fresh strategic possibilities.
✅ Free Upgrade for CS:GO Players: If you owned CS:GO, you get CS2 for free—so there's no risk in trying it out.
Cons:
❌ Missing Features: Some beloved features from CS:GO (like certain maps, modes, and community servers) are still absent.
❌ Hit Reg & Subtick System Issues: While the new subtick update system aims to improve responsiveness, some players have reported inconsistencies in hit registration.
❌❌ Balancing & Anti-Cheat: Cheating remains an issue, and certain weapon balances could still use fine-tuning.
❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
FINAL !!!!
Counter-Strike 2 is a solid evolution rather than a revolution. It brings necessary updates to a legendary game but still feels like a work in progress. If you're a long-time fan, it's worth playing, but if you're expecting a groundbreaking experience, you might be slightly disappointed. That said, with continued updates and community feedback, CS2 has the potential to become just as beloved as its predecessor.
⭐⭐ 7.5/10 - A step forward, but not a giant leap.⭐
There are too many cheaters, and Valve can't find any solution. Why aren't hardware bans applied to players detected using cheats? A cheater has to get caught in Overwatch, receive a cheating conviction, and get their account banned. Then, they'll just buy another high-ranked account for a few bucks and continue ruining our games. Since Valve isn't addressing this issue, every player over 30 that I've talked to believes Valve itself is the one releasing these cheats.
Watch the match linked below. Everyone in the game reported a player named Sobiel for wallhack and aimbot. We downloaded the demo and reported him again. We even used report bots to report him multiple times. It's been 20 days since the match, and Sobiel is still sabotaging games with cheats.

Conclusion: Until Valve finds a definitive solution to cheating, all non-cheating CS2 players should boycott Valve.
The game is awesome crap, there is no point in buying prime status, because there are not much fewer cheaters than in regular cs. In recent months the situation has become much worse. Cheaters are found in almost every game, with macros, aim settings or whatever. My advice, which will save you time, nerves and money: buy Prime only when a new anti-cheat comes out, not earlier. Or you can try it on Faceit.
Great game, ruined by cheaters
CS2 has solid gameplay, but the cheating problem makes it almost unplayable. VAC is useless—nearly every match has blatant or closet cheaters. The rare game without them is usually a stomp, likely because the cheater is on your team instead. The only way to enjoy CS2 is on Faceit, where their anticheat actually works. Until Valve fixes this, matchmaking is a waste of time.
The worst most popular video game
This game shouldn't be alive no more, we are letting this company get away with zero effort content while the servers are on fire and the "anti-cheat" is non-existent.
These issues have been there for years, and it just keeps getting worse..
Game kept alive with tournaments and the fact that everyone will lose their "hard earned" money if the game economy dies. Cheaters have always been there, they just moved from community servers to playing premier when it came out. Probably 9/10 matches have at least one of them, with the exploits possible nowadays, you wont be able to even tell (perfect silent, etc.).
Content wise all we have gotten past 5 years is small map changes and more ways to dry out people's wallets (Armory).
This is just the beginning of it, i would be here writing for the next 2 years if i tried to list everything wrong with this game, if you value your mental health at all, stay away from this game and its toxic n idiotic community.
amazing game super fun to play with friends just a bit of a toxic community
Overall very fun game.
Riddled with cheaters, do not bother playing until they add a anti cheat. I've been play for over 20k hours be tween this account and my main. Reached global and 20k premier elo. Its just unplayable unless you get faceit.
I shouldn't have to download a third party anticheat to be able to play your game. Fix it and restore CS or return CSGO.
very fun game my teamates is spining around and hits every shot.
won my firs ever game 13:0 with 0 damage. 10\10 would not recommend
At this moment, Premier may as well be Valve's officially licensed HvH game mode. VAC is a complete utter joke. Until Valve begins to put forth more than bare minimum effort reviews should be negative. We don't need more armory passes or cases, what we need to be able to play Counter Strike without resorting to a 3rd party matchmaking platform.
not worth it anymore :( do not waster your $20 or any other $$ on this game, there is no reason to at all. go find anther fps where the devs want to make a good gameplay experience for you :)
horrible game do not install, do not get into it. first they reel you in with the cool looking skins and gameplay. You have some fun and go on a crazy losing streak. Next thing you know. you are getting decimated with cheaters and retards. You get stuck at low elo and you can't escape the hell because you get put with people that react in 4-7 business day, people that dont have any sense of sound, direction or communication, or just get paired with a whole team of people who can't together manage to kill a single person on the enemy team. At first you laugh it off and know you are new. After that, you just get pretty angry. Eventually after a few hundred hours you reach the breaking point, and you enter disbelief that it is possible to play a video game so poorly, and you are fucking done and you just leave matches, quit, or otherwise throw in the towel. Your blood pressure rises and its just different levels of fury and disappointment. But the bad part is that not long after, you get that itch again. Either from yourself of from your party bros, you decide to hop on again, thinking about a nice juicy win streak, some nice nades, some heavenly headshots and frags. In reality, you lose 4 matches in a row, you question your chices and sanity, and you want to end it all. You type quit smoking in the console, and then you get called a retard meanwhile you are trapped in low elo, csgo shit hell. Basically, this cycle of doing bad, getting angry, then just being dissapointed, and then itching to play again continues till all you can play is cs2. Anyway even if you somehow escape the wrath, they bring you back with the itch to have to hoard and buy all of the virtual pixels and skins on the screen. I fucking hate this game, i wish i had never played it a few years ago, and I will never ever get my time on this game back. I am tired of retards, cheaters, and people who you could convince me are bots because they play worse than the local nursing home.
Edit* in addition they hit you with the "99 in 2" shit or the teammates that sit in nonexistant angles or corners behind angles waiting to get corner peaked and mowed down, or just wait to get flanked and shredded by a fucking pp bizon or some bs. This stuff and retards that deide to peak heavily guarded sightlines that have awps and other shit like shotguns or negevs and get shredded really put the cherry on top.
For goodness sake please valve delete this video game, thank you gaben.
Great game if you enjoy being called slurs by fully grown bums who haven’t mentally developed past high school
In addition: Global Offensive was better
It's being a terrible game.. a lot of people using macro all around.. many cheaters... A big lag as well... You hit an enemy 4 times and after you were killed, not hit was done to the enemy... common... ridiculous... even more the hackers all over the game.
yes very fun game only cheaters every game very nice game goodjob valve anti cheat
Игры похожие на Counter-Strike 2
