Love the game
Changing the controls doesn't work right now.
They need to do some refactoring.
Pressing 4 pulls up the radio instead of reloading like I wanted.
Pressing 1 won't put something on a shelf in one of the missions, so I had to switch it back to E.
So it has issued getting moved to mouse controls, but it is a pretty good game still.

A rather short lived sim, but otherwise fine. Don't expect anything too complicated or even that detailed, but its still fun to jump into for a few hours or so. If you're perfectly ok with consistency with maybe just a few randomized events and twists, there are far worse options. I know its not high praise, but I did have enough fun with this sim to be worth the buy.
Sooo... i think the fabule of the game is good. But if u finish it there's totally nothing... just free mode they and
u even not new warden. They should add end update that willl active only if fabule fnished when u are warden and running over prison type of: giving guard orders,paycheck,acces to warden account,hiring new guards
and special Jobs like janitor or Rapid Response Team. SO if u are new and want play game it's good. but if u
finish this it's totally boring.
Boring game. Hate to say it, because I know simulator fans like myself enjoy the sort of boring and peaceful gameplay loop. But this is just boring.
It's not a prison guard simulator, it's a task completion simulator. Nothing you do really matters outside of affecting reputation / money. You just go from task to task each day and never get free reign to decide what, how, and when you'll do something.

Ok, so to start off:
The initial game is okay. The mechanics work, things are pretty smooth. But what becomes incredibly obvious after about an hour of playing is the receptivity. Like, that's it. You get through the main game mechanics of like, 6-7 things, and that's all there is. You just do the same thing over and over and over every single day. The real "Prison/Jail" mechanics, don't really exist. And to top it off, I've owned the game for quite awhile. The developers seem to be MIA. Other than posting a few things. But no updates, no added content, just gone. If I didn't have 4 hours on the game, I'd refund it.
NOT worth it. Not even really on sale. There's nothing here. Don't buy.
Really interesting for at least 2-3 hours, after that its just rutine. Its getting more boring with every hour spent. After You finish short and shallow scenario theres nothing to do, you max your skills and it gives almost nothing (if there wouldnt be any skills to get you wouldnt notice much difference). I dont know how i could spent 20 hours in this (half of them i felt asleep on chair infront of monitor since i play only at nights).
In my opinion idea of it is good but that is only thing is good in this game is.

太无聊了！快跑！！！！！！！
因为喜欢玩监狱建造师来买的这款游戏，可是它真的太无聊了！感觉像是一个半成品，还没有完成便感觉端上餐桌了，画质粗糙，ai弱智，可玩性只有两个小时，当你忍无可忍退出游戏的时候，就意识到前期的捏脸和创建黑帮名字都是为了卡住你的时间不让你退游戏。这个游戏真的还会更新吗？为什么就我买了这款游戏？为什么没有其他人陷入打折陷阱？
以下是为啥无聊的原因：
1.囚犯的背景故事和选项仅仅只是某种背景板，所有囚犯共用一套语言系统，让人毫无代入感
2.上个b班通勤时间比任务还长，没有奔跑键，我已经在屏幕外面搓出火星子了，主角还是跟英国老太太一样在走廊散步
3.殴打系统做个像一坨屎，这应该是整个游戏最有趣的一个部分，但打击感几乎没有，囚犯和你并没有碰撞体积，因此在殴打时靠的太近你会殴打不到，穿模感随处可见（犯人跟随你时路过监狱也会穿模，犯人打起来没有原因，存粹是因为超雄。
4.同事极其冷漠和不友好，上班期间几乎没有任何交流，就像其他评论说的，就算成为典狱长也完全不在乎你，没有好感系统，因此你的同事会一直保持这个b态度
5.脸模粗糙而且丑陋，各种建模要么跟抠图一样，要么就是一坨不明物体，很明显，这个游戏制作时的建模钱被贪污掉了
6.任务没有明显的正向反馈，当然，做任务你可以获得一些钱和经验，但没有任何同事或者犯人会对你的行为产生口头上的反馈，只给你一个b数据。
这些只是我游玩两个小时带来的感受，当你认为这个游戏还会有更多内容的时候，它就会用它的半成品糊你一脸，愤怒吗？sorry，无法退款了。
如果有任何人想花钱找个班上，那我不阻止你。

Because I love playing this game that prison builders bought, but it's really boring! It feels like a semi-finished product, and before it's finished, it feels like it's on the dining table. The graphics are rough, the AI is weak, and the playability is only two hours. When you can't bear it anymore and quit the game, you realize that the initial face pinching and creating gang names are all to block your time and prevent you from quitting the game. Will this game really be updated? Why did I buy this game? Why haven't anyone else fallen into the discount trap?
Here are the reasons why it's boring:
1. The background stories and options of prisoners are just some kind of background board, and all prisoners share a language system, which makes people feel completely immersed
The commuting time of the previous B class was even longer than the task, and there was no running button. I had already rubbed sparks outside the screen, but the protagonist was still walking in the hallway like an old British lady
3. The beating system is like a pile of shit, which should be the most interesting part of the entire game, but the sense of impact is almost non-existent. The prisoner and you do not collide in volume, so when you are too close during the beating, you will not be able to beat, and the feeling of wearing a mold can be seen everywhere (when the prisoner follows you and passes by the prison, they will also wear a mold, and there is no reason for the prisoner to fight, the essence is because of the super hero.
4. Colleagues are extremely cold and unfriendly, with almost no communication during work hours. As other comments have pointed out, even if you become a prison warden, they don't care about you at all. There is no favorability system, so your colleagues will always maintain this attitude
5. The face model is rough and ugly, and various models are either like cutout images or just a bunch of unknown objects. It is obvious that the modeling money used in the production of this game has been embezzled
6. There is no obvious positive feedback on the task. Of course, you can earn some money and experience by doing the task, but no colleagues or prisoners will give you verbal feedback on your behavior. Only a data point will be given to you.
These are just the feelings I gained from playing for two hours. When you think there will be more content in this game, it will smear your face with its semi-finished products. Are you angry? sorry， Cannot refund.
If anyone wants to spend money to find a class, I won't stop you.
Kind of Boring
the game is good but yall did a shitty job not teaching us a damn thing about disarming bombs, with ur cute little pictures like we can understand that trash.
Goofy and fun game. The mini games are great as well. Having fun upgrading the jail too gives me a little more to work towards.
just bad and boring
I really enjoyed the game, spent many hours grinding the cookies. I kinda about to give up to achieve this cookie monster achievement -_-. I work in sales and most of our customer are stupid that I want to bang their head to the wall and thanks to this game I could release this darkness evil inside me.
Edgerunners is sad? yeah you clearly never experienced the pain of having to execute the inmate you seen like a bro.

I almost want to give this game a good review. Despite the simulator game ahh graphics, the fps
aren't good enough. Tasks are too repetitive and boring in the standard mode and the story goes slow let alone being short. Money is too easy to make whilst all you can buy are skins and stuff yet to unlock. It's a bit fun at first but I'd say it's not worth the full price atm.
