Great gameplay and low lag, good to play with friends
im Sorry but there is too many DLCs, buy the game with all DLCs and even then its repetitive just play EDF or Helldivers
This game is extremely fun, even if you dont have friends, you can open an online lobby and pray that someone will join. 10/10, just do the normal difficulty missions before you do hard or above.

Because if you want to get all the achievements (that there is a lot of them) you have to buy the dlc or play with someone who has them. The game is a bit hard there is stealth and I’m bad at it so I mostly go loud. I heard that payday: the heist is better but payday 2 is good enough not better than payday: the heist but good. also it’s better to play with friends.
Honestly. One of the best games that anyone with half a brain can play. Any dumb build you can think of will probably work too. Me personally. I decided to be the engineer from tf2 and use sentries to just mow down cops. And with perks that increase ammo bag pickups your ballin. Give the game a try and its worth the money.
It's great to return to Payday 2, all the sick soundtracks while you make the cops regret their life choices, the hundreds of weapons and huge collection of different masks are good to return to. The achievement hunt is back on for me and I'm willing to bathe in the greatness of this game once again!
All though they say it's a dead game, it's not in my eyes.. All though some weird things are happening from the no updates so that might be a problem, but better to enjoy it now then never!
This is a Game very Interesting because You can do job hard or easy One bad thing is that if you are going to buy a lot of DLC, it is better to buy the legacy collection. I say this because I have a lot of them and they are necessary sometimes. Well, I'm back.

apparently getting shot by 6 bulldozers and millions of swat teams doesn't make u dead, but falling from 2nd floor, yes.

Game's still remaining one of best ones I've played (500+ hours). Despite sheer amount of DLCs, the game content just pays everything off, especially the fun - aka YOU create fun with the game during your gameplay, be it loud with the goddamn piece of s--t drill, or stealth with your teammate who always catching on cameras.
Buy and play this, not Payday 3.

I got this game when I bought my PC because I used to play it on PlayStation but since it doesn't get updated on PS anymore the story mode isn't fully on it. Payday 2 is one of my favourite games and it is, in my opinion, one of the greatest games even though it's kind of old. One of the only things that is unfortunate is that there is a lot of DLCs that you need to buy to get most of the guns and some of the heists and the price of them can get kind of steep once you get a few. Payday is a very good game and if you like games that are FPS', robbing and things like that I would highly recommend picking up this game if you have some extra money and your looking for a fun game to play with friends or by yourself and there is plenty of nice people that will help you and teach you how to play. And it does go on sale all the time.

Certainly a fun game. I wish it didn't have as many DLCs, but there is enough content. I recommend the "Cook Off" mission.

Basically, even if you have no friends. This is well worth the price of ALLL DLC and the game COMBINED WITHOUT DISCOUNTS. Everything, sans maybe the basic weapon colors, is well worth the price you will likely see. It's rare that that nothing at all is discounted but by the time you get to needing those add-ons, you'll have the hours to justify making the decision to buy them. Even if you didn't like what you got in the DLCs, YOU GOT EM. BETTER USE EM? Hope so!
Not for the weak of temperment. The difference in difficult is VERY welcomed if you like a challenge off the bat, BUT there is still utility in using any of the difficulty settings for players of all skill levels. From stealth to tactics testing, there is always a good way to use pretty much anything in the game. Soon I will own everything and I don't really see any reason to for it to take back the value its giving me....
Aside from Steam going down.... Then I would have paid all that money and have no product at all....hmmmm....
All jokes aside, they could just remake this game 1 to 1 with worse graphics and as long as the music works the same way I would pay 80$ for the whole game everything included.... and I only make 8 bucks an hour!
After playing PAYDAY 2 CRIMEWAVE EDITION (Console) and playing this game on PC with epic and steam, it feels like i have been freed from a mountain of torture and slavery.
I don't know if anyone also had this problem, but when playing the game I get ghosting. Tried tweaking the settings from high to low. Search online for solutions, but nothing. Maybe it's just me. Running a RTX 3080.
at this point pay day 2 is a classic. Havn't tried payday 3 so I don't know if the community is more active over there, but if you have friends to play with this game is addicting. Just try not to suck lol in the past I've lost my friends many missions on the more difficult risk levels
Don't get Payday 3 get this game. This game is cheap and it's DLC will get you more content than Payday 3's full price. This game costing $10 and getting $30 worth of DLC is much more content.

Payday 2 - The game about 4 clowns trying to save a developer from bankruptcy by doing literally anything for literally anyone who happens to have some work to toss to em.
Genuinely one of the best co-op games, especially for the price.
Only issue is the insane amount of DLC (though DLC heists can be played for free if the host has em')
Payday 2 thrives on teamwork—until teammates refuse to cooperate, turning a perfect heist into a chaotic solo survival mission.

Was playing The Biker Heist DLC on DEATH SENTENCE. I finally got the mechanic to build the old dude's bike. His name is Rust probably because he's slowly rusting away from his fucking old age. I tried to drive his motorcycle that literally has 0 acceleration leaving me vulnerable and easy to get killed. I managed to move it forward however there was a BUSH with collision WHY THE FUCK DOES A BUSH HAVE COLLISION! I HATE MY LIFE SO MUCH! I DEDICATED 20 MINUTES TO THIS HEIST RIGHT NOW! I THOUGHT I COULD DRIVE THROUGH A BUSH! QARGHHH

Wonderful game overall. One of the best "hell yeah" simulators I've ever played. Gameplay loop is engaging and the cast of characters and their dialogue never fails to make me laugh a bit during heists. 10/10, would probably buy again if I could.
I absolutely love this game, but make sure to at least buy the legacy collaction for the game otherwise a big chunk of content including gun attachments, characters and maps will be locked!
The only thing I don't like is that the stealth tutorial doesn't go over everything and that there's too much DLC, also modding is a bit of a pain but other than that it's really fun.
Bought this last year but I never got around to playing it since it was too big, but now that I removed my windows partition, I regret not playing this game sooner
fun fact, in the hotline miami heist you cook meth but on the payday wiki, in the trivia section for said heist, there is a list of corrections on the process you use to cook meth in the heist

I've played a lot of games like this, and this was the best game among it's begins like games such as don't starve, you start with nothing/ barely anything, but as you play more you earn more and i'm happy that the devs deeply cared about this game, if your still doubting to play it i would say yes with a 100% you should buy this, it's 10 bucks very cheep, it's low price with a lot in terms, i'm still playing this game and i enjoy it, please play this game and buy hotline miami wrong number with it as well, you'll unlock extra content, thats it
You can buy masks of fucking trump and joe biden to get sexually manhandled by cloakers, amazing game 9.99/10 lost 0.001 points because theres no comically large dildo melee

This game has a good learning curve. When you perfect your movement and memorize the enemies spawns, you can get some really fast and fun runs.

This game is like drunk driving, VERY fun, you might kill a lot of people but you have a alarmingly big risk of crashing.
In the past this game was great, now this game just crashes for no reason, wouldn't recommend atm, creators just want you to buy payday 3 so they broke this game

the sequel was also assassinated by the same company with bad business decisions and a lack of focus early on in development! (i still respect the developers i doubt it was easy to deal with the things that led to that)

its very easy to throw a few hours at it and have fun! you just have to be aware it is a mess of a game with no future development support (modders have made attempts but starbreeze has left the game in a permanently More unstable state) i actually do recommend this game at its cheapest but i cant give this game a positive review because of Events! there is *Alot* of history in this game and i do think thats worth remembering.
I love this game. I really do, but I can not in my heart recommend it to anyone. You need to shill out SO MUCH money to even get the most enjoyable heists in the game, and not to mention all the bugs and crashes that can outright ruin your game experience. And let's not even open the can of worms that is the mods. The mods are amazing, don't get me wrong, but Overkill REFUSES to fix this broke dick piece of shit game. If, on the rare chance, they decide to make a MAJOR fix for the game and remake the game in an engine that ISN'T A RACING GAME ENGINE, then I would consider recommending it to others for a fun while, but until then, the only "loot" you'll be getting out of this bank is a bundle of frustration and ruined moods.

Payday 2 is a blast with friends. The heists are fun, the teamwork aspect is great, and there’s a lot of customization for your character and loadout. The game has tons of content, with various missions and challenges that keep things interesting.
However, after a while, it can feel repetitive, especially when you’re doing the same heists over and over. The AI teammates can also be a bit annoying at times.
8/10 – Great fun with friends, but can get repetitive solo.
The only game I can play as a sociopath wearing a chicken mask that’s wielding a comically large golden spoon tanking 50 rounds per minute by police officers and scream at them with a French tape recorder…. So in all perfection
