200+ hours of playtime over a year and only 26% of achievements unlocked, I can't recommend this game enough for those looking for a horde-like co-op shooter that can be both strategic and brain dead fun at the same time. Yes, there are flaws here and there and DLC is a near requirement for the experience but it is WORTH IT. This is definitely a game that should be played with friends, though solo or with randoms is also completely viable.

I fudging love this game, I started playing because of Roblox's Notoriety game before it got taken down. W game TONS of content if you have money, but even if you don't their still is LOTS to do before money spending is even an option to have fun!

Great game to play if you have all the time in the world. Many achievements that are obtainable, including ones that take up to hours or days to complete or are locked behind a paywall stopping you from getting all 1328 achievements.

I remember a time when this game had something called pro jobs. When pro jobs were around you were not able to restart the mission from the beginning this doesn't matter much when the heist are all one day long, but when you have a 3 day heist and you have to stealth it all (I'm looking at you framing frame) that felt sooo god damn good getting it finished after so many failed attempts.
Present day Games good trying to get off of hacker and dodge and just adds more variety and play style loads of content. Trying to get all achievements not super sweaty just here and there doing DSOD been fun. Stealth is still the stealth you know and love. I have had people add me recently and kinda makes me feel more inclusive to a community not asking to be added just random adds people want to add people who play this game. Maybe payday 3 will pay off and be a worth picking up game in 3-4 years when theres just loads of content or maybe they abandon ship and jump back on the payday 2 train, probably not. As of this moment in time 1,924 are playing payday 3 on steam charts and 14,664 are playing payday 2 on steam charts. Good Luck Overkill.
One of my All time Favorites!
I have played this game for numerous hours, the current play time does not reflect because of how much I had little to no internet when I did play this game. Essentially your in honor among thieves doing bank jobs and other various contracts to receive payouts to increase level, gear, etc. The game is super immersive and fun. The best way is to do it stealth mode but it is much more harder that way. If you are caught in the act the cops get called and you have to make sure that you don't get taken down by them making sure you have all of the hostages that you are holding for leverage to make the great get away and with the loot.
Overall this is a great fps shooter. For mosy heists there are 2 ways to play, everybodys favourite, loud and stealth. Since there are 2 play styles based on the way you play this ame can become fast paced or stealth, However there are missions that are only one way or the other. As with all games nothing is perfect. It can be a bit deficult to get started unless you have a vetren friend. The match system for joining games is not perfect either, connections are some times droped and it can also be a bit slow. And then there is the comunity, althought its mostly good i have ran in to my fare share of kick happy hosts and over all just toxic players, hackers used to be promenent but the game devs have fixed it and have one fo the best hacker detections systems ive ever seen. The way I see it the good far overways the bad and I would defently recomend this 100%
Game reinstalled and I was heisting before I could even join a lobby in Payday 3. Spent 30 minutes trying to connect a buddy before we both refunded. 30 freaking minutes wasted on PD3 instead of playing a functional game
Great game but to many god damn repetitive achievements and the stealth is mid tier but overall gtreat game and for new players i would recomend the rouge perk deck because dodge builds are something else

payday 2 is the goat, buy it, community is relatively not toxic compared to other communities and carry you through heists if your new. 10/10 game buy this game instead of payday 3, its better.
I spent hours and hours on this game that were wasted by crashing at the end of the heist. I ran DS/OD heists, maxing out my loadouts for loud. I can solo stealth any heist. I got the 1000 achievements milestone. TLDR: I'm a fan.
Now, I drop this game. Things have never been this bad. You lost yourself a player that would've bought most of your DLCs over stupid decisions and poor optimalization.

I like this game a lot its a fun game to play but I swich to linux and now I cant play the game when I press play its not opening the game its start opening but then its close I dont even see anything like a error or something if someone know how to fix it its help me a lot

One of the most well crafted heist games I've ever played.
The gameplay ranges from stealthily infiltrating and robbing stores, to a full-on horde shooter.
The game has many items, perks, and skills that lead to a variety of unique builds and play styles.
Lots of things are locked behind DLC, but since the game is only $10, this isn't really a problem compared to modern AAA Games. The DLCs are rather cheap, ranging from $0.99-$6.99, and you only really "Need" one to get most of the items you're wanting.
I 100% recommend researching tutorials on game mechanics, as it can help to know when to/mot to do something, and to know different types of strategy for each heist.
Based on what I can tell from both my gameplay and online forums, the game has very few bugs or glitches, and even fewer are "game-breaking."
Overall, the game is genuine fun. I highly reccomend!

Payday 2 is the only game of this genre that has found any success in its lifetime. Heist games are rarely made and often lose a lot of their charm after the first playthrough, this game did not. With what feels like hundreds of masks and dozens of different guns, paired with the diverse mission settings and objective makes for an amazing game. This game is made to be enjoyed with others and will have you and your friends planning fantastic heists that belong in movies, mowing down hordes of enemies as you try to secure the loot and make an escape. This game was extremely fun, and lead to some amazing friendships and experiences. Happy heisting!
Absolute garbage. I bought this for my VR and at first it worked and now the game doesn't even start. I reinstalled it a couple of times and check the game integrity and nothing works. I tried launching the game on pc, it doesnt work. For the time that this game worked the controls were terrible as well. Worst purchase to make.

I love this game, it is one of my favourites of all time being something I played for years across the xbox and PC, however due to constant crashes and the amount of dlc dictation of how you can play the game, I simply cannot recommend this game for everyone. It is and will be a game I love, when it functions, but the amount of issues it has had can't be ignored so I can't recommend it... I hope it'll be functional at some point in the future

With the amount of amazing people I met because of this game. I most absolutely recommend it! The people who I'm lucky enough to play with are some of the most friendly, helpful and funniest people to be with. It's been some years playing this game and we're still going strong somehow.

Great game, truly classic. Not many games could thrive for over 10 years and still have an active player and modding community and even adding VR support and QoL updates a decade after release. Definitely worth the buy.
I really just love this game as a whole. It's got such a good soundtrack, tons of heists, and I love the creativity of these achievements. would recommend.

I am surprised by how fun this game is. The level ups are quick, the gear is easy to access, the cosmetics are whacky, there's a ton to do out of the box (I bought the basic edition of the game, and I'm swimming in content), and the gameplay loop is fun. My only complaint is how the lockbox robberies work, and I think that can be solved with perks I'm too greedy to invest in because I'm having so much fun with combat.

So far it is an amazing game, even just the base game; without the dlc's it is still an amazing game to play.
