PAYDAY 2

Would recommend for people with spare time.
You can play however you want, just be warned, if you want everything in the game, you kind of have to get your wallet for that too...
Either way, 9.5/10 game
music is perfect, gameplay is great, and the skilltrees are cool

fun game to play still after all these years. also kinda of cool with the new people coming from pay day 3 to have real fun is also a bonus when i help low levels score big.

I've sunk hundreds of hours into Payday 2, and it's still one of my go-to games when I'm in the mood for some high-stakes heists.

The game has its quirks, but the thrill of planning and executing complex robberies with friends is unbeatable. The variety of missions and play styles keeps things fresh, from stealthy takes to all-out gunfights.

The community is still pretty active, so finding crew members or servers isn't usually a problem. If you're a fan of tactical co-op gameplay and don't mind some repetition, Payday 2 is a great choice. Just be prepared for some intense moments and possibly a few frustrated rants from your crew members.

The game keeps crashing. Every time, there is an error during the 2nd or 3rd day of the heist. When I reconnect, the game progress is gone. Offshore moneys keep pouring out. I just don't understand why it's not simply recorded. Is my time wasted? Or my investment in the heist is worthless.
I advise those who want to buy PAYDAY 2 to think carefully about whether you are willing to spend time on half of the heist and then quit and start over. Now I just enjoy the sense of accomplishment of solving achievement and play with my friend but annoyed by constant crashes.
(The same not recommended goes for PD3, but it is because of the gameplay. )

Even so many years after release the community is still thriving which should speak for its quality. Just one of the greatest games ever made. Lots of fun with friends too

Payday 2 is a really great if you play with friends,but if you join want to join a random match,be prepared to be kicked because if you are not infamy 100,they wont let you play modern day payday 2 people and be prepared to lose connection all the fucking time,that honestly annoys me the most,I want to pull my hair out when i lose connection for the 100th fucking time today.

Amazing game. This is the ultimate heisting game, and started the genre itself. It is a perfect game with amazing stealth mechanics, lovable characters, fun multiplayer, and a story that rivals that of Half-Life. Worth all the money paid for it, would recommend. Happy Heisting!

in this game you have really sticky hands and you cant seem to help it. sticky enough that you accidentally steal everything you touch. great game should have been named sticky hands simulator though

Funny that being a criminal in a game is okay but being one in real life is not.
Also it is sad that Payday removed the Boiling Point heist,that was probably one of my favourite heists

If you are looking for an indepth game with near endless replayability, or a fun classic experience of a great game with you and some friends there isnt a better pick than Payday 2. As someone who's been playing on console sense 2014 with over 2,000 hours I can say without a doubt this is one of the best games I've ever played and despite payday 3's repuation, payday 2 is still a stellar game. It goes on sale frequently, so I'd atleast recommend picking it up to plat with a couple mates. With a fantastic modding community and vast amounts of dlc content you will NOT run out of things to do. I find myself continually comming back to this game, and loving it every time.

Definiatley worth it, and while being a new player may seem daunting, I know myself and may other community memebers enjoy nothing more that sharing a game we're passionate about with new players. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask!

Payday 2: The Art of the Heist — A Review by Donald J. Trump

Let me tell you, folks, I've seen a lot of games, but Payday 2? It's tremendous. Absolutely tremendous. You're part of the Payday Gang — a group of professionals, very smart, very tough. They wear suits, they wear masks — very classy, very intimidating. Reminds me of my rallies — the energy, the excitement, the commitment. People say it's just a game, but I say it's a movement.

Now, the equipment? Top-notch. The weapons, the gadgets — very advanced. But let's be honest, nothing beats American-made. We need to make sure these in-game items are subject to tariffs if they're imported. Protect our virtual economy, folks. It's about fairness, it's about strength.

And GenSec? Don't get me started. They're supposed to be the best in security, but they can't stop the Payday Gang. They're too focused on being politically correct, too woke. They need to toughen up, get back to basics. Security is about strength, not sensitivity.

Some people compare the Payday Gang to the January 6th crowd. I see the resemblance — passionate, determined, fighting for what they believe in. It's about making your voice heard, about standing up to the establishment. Very powerful.

The best Payday games there is today and yes normal this game is more fun with friends but u can find it fun to play with your sefl and it only 10 eur now better then payday 3. i love this game

The gameplay is literally the same thing over and over and over. That being said it is fun learning to do the mission perfectly with a group.

I like cheese. I put cheese in my sandwich and in my burgers. You can even put cheese on fries, melt it and put bacon. Cheese also can come in strings,flat and in a ball form. although American cheese is nasty. CHEESE!!!

Best co-op PvE game ever made. Endless content. If you haven't played this game you are missing out.

This game is the best heist game i've ever played. Is it realistic? hell no, but it sure is fun as hell. The stealth in this game is amazing, there are many perks and skills you can put depending on your style and make a build.

Payday 2 is one of those games that really delivers on the chaotic, high-energy co-op experience, but, unfortunately, it’s just not my cup of tea. I gave it a shot on a friend's recommendation, expecting a thrilling heist experience, but the constant barrage of action, noise, and chaos was overwhelming rather than exciting.

The premise is solid—you and your crew are robbing banks, pulling off heists, and trying to outsmart the law. The cooperative aspect is key, and there’s definitely a sense of satisfaction when everything goes smoothly... though that's pretty rare. The game thrives on loud, all-out action, and if you’re into frantic firefights with the police, this is your playground. But for me, it’s a bit too much. The constant gunfire, alarms blaring, and non-stop pressure made it hard to enjoy the planning and execution of the heists.

I’m sure there are stealthier options for pulling off heists, but honestly, the chaos and loudness often seemed unavoidable. I get that it’s a big part of the game’s appeal, but it felt like the experience was more about surviving the chaos than actually executing a well-planned job. The game does offer a lot of content, and there’s a lot of depth in terms of customizing your character and planning out your approach, but the constant noise and confusion just didn’t sit right with me.

While I can see the appeal for fans of fast-paced, cooperative action, I personally would go for something with less of a sensory overload. It’s fun for some, but for me, Payday 2 felt more like a frantic, loud mess than a strategic heist experience. I don’t think I’d recommend it to people who prefer more structured, less chaotic co-op experiences.

Amazing game 10/10, came from playing it on console. Beautiful. If you ever have 4 hours free, watch the "Complete Story of Payday" (pretty sure that's the name) by Kknowly, so much lore. Devs did an amazing job, just wish there was a lot of lore in Payday 3.

This is still a great game, not in terms of modern graphics, but in terms of pure ability to customise almost anything! You have the freedom to configure your character and complete heists the way you want!

This game is by far, a steal for its price. Only complaint is that it's practically a paradox game with how much DLC you need to buy in order for it to feel like a full game.

Payday 2 is the best heist sim EVER. I love the DLC (though a lot of stealth and loud loadouts and other things require DLC, yikes), I love the maps, teamwork, and especially the people you'll meet while playing this game. Some people can be douchebags, yes, but I've met super awesome people playing this game that wouldn't mind helping beginners. Better yet, get your friend(s) to play this game with you! Don't be deceived by how old it is, and PAYDAY 3 is kinda doodoo. I have a lot more hours on console, which is more limited, and the PC version has SO much more to offer.

IMHO, 8/10. -2 for being so DLC heavy, but that's what happens when a game is this successful for so long.

Payday manages to be fun, while also not being fun whatsoever. Horrendous grind, quickly repetitive gameplay, extremely satisfying looting and actions, poor stealth, fun combat. If I had to evaluate Payday with all the time I've put in, and all the moment's I've got back, I realise that it was the people I played with that made the game fun, barely the game itself.

Payday is fun when you have hours to throw away into the grinder of retying stealth missions and endlessly repetitive loud missions; Payday is fun when you finally stealth the big heists like Big Bank and The Golden Grin Casino. Payday is fun when your using the most absurd weapon, while wearing the most absurd clothes, while robbing the most absurd bank. Payday is not fun when you lose a perfect run to a bug; Payday is not fun when the monotony gets the better of you, when the weapons, enemies, and maps, all blend together.

I wish Payday was worth it. I wish it was worth it to learn the good maps and dlc's; worth it to find the good weapons and the most fun builds, but its not. Payday is not worth it. It takes too much time, asks to much of you, and doesn't give back what you deserve. Play a better game, that the fate of Payday; always to come back after a couple of years or months, when you forget the repetitive nature of all its mechanics, when it becomes fresh and new again. Only for a few heists later when that monotony starts to creep back in.

Payday is not worth it. It was fun, and will always be fun; but it will never be worth it.

Payday 2 is just one of those games I will never be able to put down forever. Every couple of months, or years, I get that itch to pull off a heist, or to sneak into the white house. And when I see those 0's direct deposited into my bank account, it feels just as good as my first time (pause). I always end up getting tired of it again eventually, but that's okay cause I can never stay away forever. Payday 2 is a flawed game, and Overkill has done some very questionable things with the pricing of the base game and DLC, but with the strength and resolve of the PD2 community, this game will live on forever. Think of PD2 as the CS:GO of heist games; it's that damn replayable. ONLY get this game when it is on sale, and do not buy every single DLC you see. Go through them, look at the reviews, watch videos. Become educated on this game, and you will not be disappointed.

Just a certified hood classic. incredible gunplay, great customization options for guns, excellent personalization options for masks, tons of missions, etc.

PAYDAY 2 – Plus réaliste et toujours aussi fun

PAYDAY 2 améliore tout ce qui avait fait le succès du premier jeu. Le réalisme des braquages est bien plus poussé, avec des missions plus variées et des stratégies plus complexes à mettre en place. Les braquages sont stylés, chaque mission étant une véritable aventure où chaque décision compte. Les graphismes sont également nettement améliorés, offrant une expérience visuelle plus immersive.

L’aspect coopératif du jeu est toujours aussi génial, et c’est un vrai plaisir de planifier des braquages avec des amis, ou même de s’adapter à l’imprévu si les choses tournent mal. Les différentes classes de personnages et le système d’amélioration permettent de personnaliser ton expérience selon ton style de jeu.

En résumé, PAYDAY 2 est un excellent jeu de braquage, encore plus réaliste et fun que son prédécesseur. Si tu aimes les jeux de stratégie et de coopération, c’est un incontournable.

This game is arguably one of the best arcade shooters ever made. The game is chaotic, fast and fun, but is rarely ever overwhelming in my experience (except when I get flash-banged like 4 times simultaneously). Though, the single player mode isn't very well balanced for playing loud in my opinion, at least on higher difficulties, with how aggravatingly stupid the teammate AI can be, you'll probably have a lot more fun in this game when playing with other people than by yourself.

This is one of the greatest PC co-op shooters of all time, a timeless classic, a must-play.

Are you a fan of games that require an ADHD amount of user inputs, with heavy emphasis on text communications, and hundreds of hours of content to explore? Payday 2. They don't make games like this anymore, not even the Payday dev.

Payday 2 a classic.
It’s a fun game to play with friends. Alone? Not so much – the NPCs are kinda dumb.
And honestly, I still have no idea how to properly do the drug mission.
Leveling up can also be a bit annoying.
But aside from that, it’s a good game!
I definitely recommend it with friends – the bank robbery missions are super fun to play.
