There's more to the desert island than just visuals.
Exposure to rain will lower body temperature. And more seriously, it will cause a decrease in immunity and endanger life. All interactions make you feel like you are on a desert island.
All actions and reactions are restored to reality.
Pull, drag, kick, throw...The character will have different actions while using different props and weapons.
Stab fish with spears, hunt bears with bows... Use different weapons to hunt wild creatures. Do it alone and get the whole trophy. Or join a group to make it easier.
Pay attention! Hitting trees with bare fists will cause wounds to bleed or even break bones. Use real-world logic to survive on this desert island!
Survisland provides a complicated metabolism system.
including muscle, fate, protein, water, calories and more. As the level increases, the survivors' physical functions will also increase. A hard-core survival experience is not just about keeping hunger and thirst levels at the baseline, but also requires maintaining the balance of nutrients by eating different food sources.
Scroll mouse wheel to drill wood and make fire!
Combine a series of realistic operations and processes with keyboard and mouse to create dozens of survival items.
You can also discuss survival techniques with other survivors

I can recommend this Chinese miracle only when there is a discount of about 90%. Because the game is dead.
A truly immersive survival experience. Awesome game, highly recommended.
The game is glitchy , no way to see fully what you're interacting with and all deaths permanent .
I think the developer may have abandoned the game
i really wanted to play this game, but there is no option to invert mouse y-axis. Seems like this is a non-issue in Asia. I have been playing with inverted mouse since Duke Nukem 3D, i really wouldnt know how to "reorient" my brain :D
Asked for support or any feedback on the issue, even contacted the developer, got nothing - i guess this game is abandoned.
While looking for a solution, i learned that there is none, simply because
a) it's not that easy to get Windows to invert the mouse to begin with and
b) it wouldnt help anyway, because mouse input from the game would be directly handled through, you guessed it, DirectInput, which would override any system settings
Sucks as a reason to not recommend the game?
Well, for me it's as basic as controller support for others :)
C est la vie!
It's a very good game, but if you're paying for it, it would be nice if they didn't give you a half-finished game for it.
It doesn't include cooking, alchemy, exploration, etc. Most crafts are missing. It would be nice if the developers would get involved and finish the game.
I love the crafting! It is very unique
The game is good, I enjoy it thoroughly, have a few hours in it.
I feel fairly positive about it but I do have some concerns. Mostly with the information/updates being passed on there is the Discord server which seems to have tons of people on it, just not a lot of game discussion or interaction. I think a lot are still waiting for things to come in it. I believe the designers/programmers are busy doing their real lives and do this as a fill in/fun thing and good project idea for them.
I would recommend people who like spending time to actually do things to play the game, it is not the typical modern game format of instant gratification (which I personally dislike), I like seeing that my time and effort are resulting/rewarded.
I may in the next coming weeks be running the game in Co-Op mode with a friend and then (hopefully) posting a sort of starter guide video with my friends help.
I'm really sad to say I can't recommend this game. I've not played many survival games so I can't compare it to others.
When first installed, I was very impressed by the graphics, and game play. The audio was good with background ambient sounds. Even the muzak was unobtrusive. The story line is fairly basic - you are on an island group with just your underwear (to conform to the 'comics code') and it's up to you to find the necessary resources, craft them into 'things' and progress your own story line. You could, if you wanted to, just run around exploring in your underwear, waving a stone knife, eating coconuts, berries etc. However personally I'd find that boring. Alternatively, you could progress your technology so you can dress in fine cotton / linen clothing, make iron weapons and armour, build a (possibly pirate) fleet - or just a single vessel.
In order to craft items, you have recipes which say how many of what material is required and which techniques you use to make the item. Sometimes this can get frustrating - so you start off needing a lime slate and lime stone so you can make a stone knife; which you need to get some fibre; which lets you make some rope; which lets you make a rope belt so you don't have to carry everything in your hands; which etc., etc., etc. I think just a touch of OCD probably helps.
So why can't I recommend this game? My main complaint is there is no way (that I have found) to restore a previous save game. Yes thee is a 'SAVE' option, but this saved game gets overwritten periodically automatically, when you quit the game, or die. So if that one and only save gets corrupted then you have two options: (1) give up on the game and walk away, or (2) start again from scratch in the hope that the save game won't get corrupted again.
To date I have spent about 800 hours playing this game (so I must enjoy it right?). This includes a couple of restarts early on when I decided I could have done things better. However, on my last try I probably played it for 400-500 hours, and guess what - the save game got corrupted. Suddenly in game days were passing in seconds and my character was dying of thirst, cold, thirst, heat, thirst, hunger, thirst, etc before I could hit a key to address the problem. So I gave up on the game for 6 weeks or so. I recently tried again, starting from scratch. However even though my character spawned in a new location with new things to explore and new materials to craft with, I found I was just going through the motions. I'd done the basic startup a number of times so that thrill was missing. More importantly I started wondering how far I'd get before the game got corrupted yet again and all of my efforts would be wiped out not by a mistake on my part but by a corruption issue that I could not prevent or mitigate by going to a previous backup. Don't get me wrong, the game does not fail very often at all - but when it does it is catastrophic.
So until this issue is addressed, I really see no point in a game that is going to lure me in and them kick me in the face due to a technical issue that could have been so easily corrected or mitigated by just a bit of thought on the developers' part. They have developed what could have been a gaming milestone but the game is too unstable to be really playable - in my experience. it just destroys any sense of accomplishment I normally get playing games.
Screw this game. I tried to build a ship, which requires so much work, running all over the island hundreds of times. Then, one axe hit on the damn ship yard destroyed it all! Over 50 hours gathering, crafting nails, planks, plates, etc., gone! Play WURM instead!
Was actually in the mood recently for a tropical realistic/hardcore survival game, and this one pretty much scratches that itch. I've restarted 3 times and keep getting beat down by the difficulty, the RNG, or the creatures of the world lol And I love it. Wasn't really in the mood for things like Green Hell or The Forest. And Conan Exiles and Soulmask are more about combat and pushing technology rather than just getting by. And I was in the mood to just get by. But you have to really want this kind of experience to enjoy this game. I'll keep at it. I enjoyed the demo and bought the game to support the developer not only because it's the closest thing to what I'm looking for, but more because people were crapping on the game because they didn't realize what they were getting into. The negative reviews are not about a broken unplayable game. They are about complex realistic mechanics. It's a simulation game. You're a stranded survivor. You have to learn everything from scratch and scrape by to survive. This is not action/adventure survival crafting, it is one of the more intense and unforgiving survival games. But I've always loved the early struggle in other survival games. So once I get better RNG and don't spawn in an island entirely devoid of coconuts, I'm gonna love this game. Enjoying the experience so far. The game is well made. Just know what you are getting into. Highly recommend the demo for anyone on the fence
The tutorial had me make two fires in a row and two fire starters. I put the first fire out then tried to start the second and it wouldn't start. I about broke my mouse wheel. Then I thought why am I being so hard on my $170 mouse. Then I thought why am I spending 40 mins starting a fire on some shoreline in a game with 2006 graphics. Then I thought why am I playing this game and quit out. Then I thought why is this crappy game on my PC because I already work two jobs IRL. Then I /uninstall.
