What the heck people? All these negative reviews... did I miss something? I think this is rather decent hidden object game, I'm actually really perplexed at all the negativity. I personally think everyone who gave this game a thumbs down is a N00B and a SIMP, oh and also a bigot.
if I didn't get this game in the Art of Murder Bundle, I would've been angry on purchasing this for full price. It's not even worth a single cent to play this game. I don't mind HOG games, except when they are done this way. This is one of the worst games I've ever played.
The game won't let me pass the first hidden object game. Some glitch that I couldn't correct even with an advice comment. Very disappointed when these older games just don't run properly.
I'm 10 minutes in and the game failed to register me finding the hidden object no matter how much I clicked on it. It's fundementally broken. It didn't look like it was going to be fun anyway what with the no voice acting.
Unlike the other Art of Murder games which were point and click, this one was find the hidden items, And do a few puzzle games (without too much instruction on what you were supposed to do). If you like hidden item games, give this a try. It was not at all like the red of the Art of Murder games, which left me disappointed.
This game won't run properly on Intel onboard graphics cards. So I ran it on my Nvidia card. My fans were running constantly all for this stupid, poorly designed game. I wasn't even able to finish it because of a flaw in the game.
Got almost to the end of the game until I reached a section involving gears that must be placed in a well and it will not allow you to make any mistakes. If you do, you're stuck and can't move on. Apparently, the developers know this, but don't care because there's a whole bunch of people who complained about this but there has never been a fix for it. Don't waste your time with this. Its a waste of money at any price.
Many will find this unplayable. I am at my first Hidden object section and it simply will not let me click on the final item. There does not seem to be a fix for it. It was part of a set so I am not really out much, however this game should not be sold in its current form.
Unlike "FBI Confidential", "Hunt for the Puppeteer" and "Cards of Destiny", this is no Point&Click adventure, but a collection of picture puzzles, tied together by a ... well... no, you can't call it "story".
Sadly, this game is unplayable. While the graphics are improved after the first 2 games in the series, there is no voice acting in this one and it looks more like an hidden object game play than the previous ones.
I would still love to play the game even so, but I've reached the first HOG and got stuck. Not because I couldn't find the objects, but because regardless of how I click on them, the game doesn't recognise that I've found them. Even using the hint option and clicking on the object doesn't do anything.
Pity though, because from what I've seen in the beginning, it could have been a really nice game.
+ The music was good.
+ The story was very interesting, it kept mystery until the end, it ended very simplistic, but I somehow wasn't disappointed by the ending.
+ You can collect hidden clocks which gives you extra hints.
- The hidden object minigames makes you collect lots of stuff you don't need. It extends the playtime I guess, but it does not connect to story or anything at all.
- There are very few puzzles.
- Whole story and conversations are in text exept for the cutscenes, I wish that conversations had voice acting.

really enjoyed the first 3, but despite having sound in the game there is no voice to go along with the subtitles in this game. now wishing i hadn't bought the bundle because the game just isn't the same without the voice playing. i don't want to read the subtitles, i want to hear the voice while i examine the screen for what to do next.
They changed the format from the first 2 in the series, this one has those hidden object puzzles. Plus it's extremely short, took me only 2 hours.
This is the 3rd game in a series of 5, following FBI agent Nicole Bonnet. I guess you don't have to play them in order, but some do end weirdly. :-)
Liked: that it was a female lead character; female lead was intelligent and practical minded; scene settings were fairly good; story pretty good; colors fairly good;
Disliked: some grungy, dirty scenes (e.g. toilets, garbage, etc.); prettier scene settings would be nice; longer story; brighter and deeper colors; could use more hints; more animation would be nice, of course.
I bought the bundle games of Art of Murder but so far this game freezes so I uninstall it not worth buying wil try the next one and see how it will work.
I really tried to like this game. I love the first three Art of Murder games and when I saw all negative reviews I figured it was just third party adventure snobs that hate hidden object games.
No. It's just bad.
The hidden object scenes are downright impossible, there's no puzzle solving, just random mashing on your keyboard, highlights show you where to go...it's just bad all around. I would not recommend this nor the next one in the series (that one actually just gave me a virus alert). The first three were grand though. How far they fell!
It installed easily. After the intro, entered a building which had a hidden object puzzle. I had about 4 items left, but can't click on them or exit the room.
EDITED: I can play this without problems on another PC.
Short, HO's are often too dark to navigate, puzzle mechanics are ridiculously obtuse, UI is annoying. There is literally nothing good to say about the game. Quite literally the worst HO I have ever played. Sad, because Art of Murder: FBI Confidential was a decent point and click adventure game. This is simply a mess and is a dark mark for the series.

This has nothing to do with the former Art of Murder trilogy.
It's a totally different game that just uses its name. And it's bad... not worth the money.
Had hoped to play another brilliant case of Nicole Bonnet. I'm deeply diappoinnted.
