The Room Two continues the time-spanning journey of its predecessor while significantly expanding its unique puzzle gameplay. Follow a trail of cryptic letters from an enigmatic scientist known only as “AS” into a compelling world of challenging mystery and tactile exploration.
Development on this fully-enhanced HD version of The Room Two began shortly after the mobile release of The Room Three late in 2015 and has involved creating more detailed environments for each level as well as rebuilding and re-texturing every asset in the game.
Fireproof Games are a small independent team working in Guildford in the UK. We self-published our first game The Room on iPad in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room games have since changed our lives and we hope you enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed making them.

I absolutely love these ROOM games. If you like escape room puzzles, you'll love this series of games. I played they a few years ago on my phone. I was glad to see them come to Steam in a PC version. It's been long enough between playing them that I don't remember them so it was just as much a challenge now as it was back a few years ago. There are plenty of clues if you find yourself stuck.
Some clever puzzles here and there, but mostly just spatial puzzles. Its nice and relaxing, good after long day of work
Puzzles have just the right amount of complexity to make them engaging and fun while not being overly complicated.
Very well done.
this game is "the square shape goes in the square hole!" for adults. there is no logic used, there are no puzzles. the "puzzles" presented are finding a time and putting it in a clock, or finding a square piece of metal and putting it in a square slot.
If you like sedate games involving some beautifully designed puzzle rooms/environments & puzzle boxes to explore and solve , The room 2 is very satisfying, with a hint system if you get truly stuck, meaning you can get the whole experience at your own pace, then this game is for you. The atmosphere and visual design is largely set in a antique era, the texture and detail of almost everything is really beautiful and fantastic, a pleasant way to while a way some time. The story keep things moving, thematically it has some lovecraftian vibes in parts, combined with victorian elements, I loved the series, they are sometimes on sale at a great discount on steam which makes the games in the series a real bargain, played 1-3 about to play 4.
This one is nicer and longer than the first game. More engaging, more interesting, but has less story.
No bugs, no troubles, nothing really hard. Maybe a bit boring closer to the end.
All riddles you can look at here

Hermosoo, no son taan dificiles los puzzles y todos conectan con la historia que quiere contar, estubo bastante boneto
The Room Two expands on its predecessor with a well-designed puzzle experience that remains engaging throughout. As a sequel, it builds on what made the first game enjoyable, introducing puzzles that are not limited to a single object or location in a room. This adds depth and variety, making for a satisfying adventure. I found it a great continuation of the series.
For the second installment of this franchise, it will always be the same praise from the first game. Just more expansive in my appreciation points, similar to how the chapters fully expanded to different rooms and themes. I absolutely loved each of the different rooms, each one telling an intriguing story with even just the non-interactive items and decorations. The continuation of the story from the first game is something I love, being able to follow behind and read the notes.
The puzzles itself are beautiful, I love how detailed they are. The room specific puzzles were some of the best highlights in this game. Pieces being reused for different puzzles and even having to switch puzzles back and forth was massively enjoyable.
The Room Two is great!
I really feel it was an improvement over the first game, and the atmosphere it creates is amazing.
The main new feature here is the ability to move between certain small scenes within the same space, which adds a bit more dynamism to the gameplay.
The puzzles are still mostly "easy" to complete, but they are very satisfying.
Totally recommended along with the first game, great on Steam Deck and fun 100%
The Room Two is an excellent game; great fun; super graphics and intriguing puzzles just like The Room; now on to Room Three!
Bit finicky in some areas. I had a few moments where I was on the right track, but due to things not registering I got confused. It's not a bad game though.
this is the kind of game where you can solve problems on your own, its so fun if you like to escape a room on your own without a time. i highly recommend if you like to problem solve and need to improve this is the best game series. its like finding a key or battery and thinking where do they all go? the key can unlock things and battery needs charging. the lens is so cool. this is a good puzzle escape room for the brain
i hope you enjoy this game. there needs to be The Room 5
Just as the first one this game is very enjoyable. Its chill and thought provoking. The story-line in the background is also very interesting. Would recommend.
I liked it. I thought it was a bit hand-holdy at first but then I found myself needing to use hints a lot later in the game. Good brain exercise.
Absolutely love these games, i have played the room and the room two so far, have already bought the next two games. Love escape room and puzzle games and the room is by far one of the best ones I've played so far, would 100% recommend playing.
Really well done puzzle/room escape type game, I highly recommend the whole "The Room" series. I find myself playing them again whenever I have forgotten the puzzles.
One of the best puzzle solving/escape room games I've ever played honestly! I love how challenging and beautiful it is and all the attention to detail for each and every puzzle. I strongly recommend this saga and I for sure will be playing the next two games that come after this one
Good game. Slightly harder than the first one, for good measure. A good time-killer.
the puzzles are allright, no complaints, i like the creepy vibes a lot. but its so unbelievably dark. like how am i supposed to know there's a clickable thing on the back of an item if i can't see it? and if i turn the brightness up too much the reflective items and some of the lights gets glitchy and weird, which cheapens the whole creepy vibe that i liked so much.
feels like there's no middle ground for me. either i see the puzzles better but the game loses the creepiness, or i can't see jack frick and spam hints or click everywhere until i stumble upon something.
wish we could have a flashlight or a little lantern of our own.
Excellent game for those who enjoy puzzle games, especially those set in mystery/horror settings like the 7th Guest, 11th Hour, etc, but with a Lovecraftian twist to it.
Great puzzle design, graphics, sound design, music and atmosphere. Only downside is the rare occasion when you've been stuck for some time already and don't know what you're looking for, or where, which can be a bit frustrating at times. This can be solved with turning to a walkthrough however, so no problem.
Sequel to the first. For some reason i liked this one more. You can complete it in around 3 hours.
In my opinion, I think it's a missed opportunity they didn't explore eldritch horror, for example descending into madness the more you solve the puzzles... I mean this is the impression it gave at first.
Great puzzle game overall.
Chapter two continues one of the most brilliant and innovative games I have ever played. The atmospheric sound makes this a great gaming experience. For those of you that did not play The Room chapter one, this series focuses on detail oriented, clever puzzles left by mysterious characters. Throughout this journey, letters are left behind by someone who the main character knows. You are following this person as they also, are undertaking this trial.
Be aware that this game will challenge your intellect and your patience. A little bit of imagination and thinking outside the box so to speak won't hurt either. I found this chapter to be more of a challenge than Chapter one.
Overall rating? 5/5 or 10/10 depending what rating system you use. But this game is different and will challenge and even frustrate (I mean this in a good way) you at times.
Good Luck! I am on to Chapter three!
The puzzels have a nice level of difficulty. After getting stuk the hints given point you in the right direction without just telling you the answer.
Another great puzzle game. When I was stuck it was due to me missing something and nor something I had no chance to figure out. Short and fun.
Following the success of The Room, Fireproof Games does it again ! With its varied and creative puzzles combined to a dark atmosphere, the game makes us travel in more locations than its predecessor. The Room Two is rather short (about 3-4 hours long), perfect for a lonely evening.
Sequel to the first game. Problems of the first game remained. However, overall puzzle quality didn't diminish. You get to understand more about story.
Way more ambitious than the first game, but some puzzles were just not fun. Had to play it in three sittings, even though it's short, since it frustrated me quite a bit. Still recommending it because I got it cheap.
Very entertaining escape like game. Highly recommend if you like puzzle games that are well constructed and, in general, have fair puzzles.
A worthy sequel to the first. It is a super fun puzzle game.
One of the best escape room games out there. Object manipulation is great, the story line is intriguing, and each room is both separate and linked to the previous one. Art is beautiful, too, and the overall mystery is... well, still a mystery! Can't wait to get Rooms 3 and 4.
♦ 100% Completion Review ♦
Outline:
▪ The sequel continues in the exact same fashion as the first entry. A series of moody, puzzle-box filled levels, dressed up with a rather esoteric and impenetrable narrative theme.
Story:
▪ As impenetrable as the first. Each room has it's own self-contained story, which is great and implemented fine. However, the overarching tale comes at you so fragmented it's hard to really getting a grip of it. Perhaps that's supposed to be the point, though. It's mostly just the ramblings of a mad man.
Gameplay:
▪ As I said, it's more of the same. A series of rooms filled with, mostly, first-rate puzzle-box style puzzles. The interface and general flow are exactly the same. Again, the puzzles are mostly intuitive and well designed. There was plenty of challenge but little need to refer to the in-game hints. Only one or two rather obscure road-blocks in which I wasn't even sure what I was supposed to be doing next.
Visuals:
▪ It's been a while since I played the first, but this entry feels as though they amped up the spook factor. There's some quality visuals throughout, and every levels is a new setting keeping it fresh.
Music & Sound:
▪ There's very little music, but a heavy does of environmental ambience. It can get pretty spooky. All the sound effects for the contraptions and so on are also great.
Achievements:
▪ Straight forward progression related achievements.
Verdict:
▪ As with the first I strongly recommend it for anyone interested in a puzzle game.
A solid puzzle game, great atmosphere with more challenging levels and even with tints of cosmic horror. Highly recommended if you already play the first one, and more if you are new to this type games.
Very good sequel to the first game, very similar, not very difficult, but if you liked the first, the second is no loss.
Great game, better puzzles when compared to the first one. And also, way more atmospheric. These games are just the best of the genre by far, as far as I can observe.
Good balance of challenge and enough puzzles to feel like a decent game.
Another great puzzle! This is a great escape room sort of game, art is incredible too! Highly recommend!
I had a fine experience with the first one in the series so why not buy the second one too? Pretty much the same but with more complex puzzles. Overall a very worthy game to buy.
Another one knocked out of the park, I think the moving around the room to solve puzzles is good but also "not good". It borderline gave me motion sickness with the way it moves. The only other gripe I have is for some WILD reason the sound, even when set to volume 1 would be SO loud I had to turn my TV down from what it already was at. It was so loud my wife could hear it in the other room. Seems kind of not ok. The puzzles were cool, the intuitive design was kind of thrown away compared to the first one but moving through the series today, we will see how the 3rd and 4th one do. I would still recommend the game to anyone that enjoys puzzle games such as Myst and Riven etc.
Really nice looking and optimal challenging puzzle game (I think, that without clues the game would have been almost impossible to solve for me).
I would like a sequel!
Mindblowing and absolutely stunning both in conception and visuals. The music and ambiance sounds fully capture you. Headphones recommended!
Very thrilling sequal to room 1, with hard but not impossible puzzles. Would reccomend
I would recommend it for the lore, but it wasn't my favorite. I found myself smashing the hint button a lot more than I want to admit.
Excellent game with the right balance of difficulty and interest,
This is a very polished escape-the-room, with excellent ambiance; every little tool, gadget or artifact feels like it took a lot of research to give it its 18th/19th century feel. It is longer than the first (each room in this case has three locations or more instead of a single puzzle box) and the story, though cryptic, begins to take off.
It's not too long, and not too difficult. It took me about 5 hours (no hints, and I'd recommend to turn them off at the beginning). The last chapter seems to have glitched on me at one part and I had to restart it to be able to use an object. It was a minor inconvenience only since once you know what to do it doesn't take long to retrace yours steps. I'm looking forward to Rooms 3 and 4!
A great puzzle game for Beginners/intermediates with slight horror undertone to keep you on your feet
theres nothing to be scared of.
like seriously it's fine theres no jumpscares or anything its just a little spooky and i'm a scardy-cat
With even more puzzles and mysteries, and more challenge to those puzzles and mysteries, The Room Two holds up to the tone and intrigue of the first game. It is still quite short (and VR would provide a more immersive experience), so I am glad that I paid a sale price for it, but if you like puzzle games like the Myst series with intrigue like the tabletop series Time Stories, you will like this game.
A lot of fun, and it is comfortably difficult, rarely (if ever) straying into frustrating territory. An interesting storyline, and fun puzzles!
Improves on the first game in every single way. It is more challenging, longer and the story is developing very interestingly. Definitely worth the price
