The basic idea of the game is fun, but the physics implementation is simplistic and the presentation janky.
No controller support on menu screens, no camera options when driving (it seems like these were available in previous versions based on some LPs I've seen), no configurable settings, incorrect display handling. My display is 1920x1200 and the menu screens go beyond the edge of the screen - years back the dev said that support for more resolutions would be added, but the game looks to be abandoned. Which all adds up to "the first time I've actually requested a refund on Steam".
Pretty poor seeing that the game runs like a demo and is very limited in having different settings so that you can have level like settings. This may give the game more depth. If you're in love with car/track games hard to control and a $3.00 sale. Maybe go for it..
Pretty basic but fun enough, and the vistas are nice. It's interesting working with only one lane's worth of space, too, when most racers at least give you a full two-lane road. It's nothing earth-shaking but it's okay.
Physics are hard to learn as they are unpredictable.
Brake lights are on all the time, except for when you're braking.
Not all achievements work.
Very limited content.
Absolute no form of progress.
I know getting started with game development is hard, keep updating the game though.
I think this "Mixed" rated game is a bit underrated. The handling is quite strange and you'll have to puzzle it out. The overall presentation is also a bit janky (though the graphics are kind of nice). My advice is try to beat all the tracks driving as slowly as possible, just to convince yourself that they are beatable. Then just have fun trying to get through them faster and more recklessly. I find it a little addictive and the frustration element is fairly low as the tracks are so short (1-2 minutes).
Improvements I would like to see:
1. You can mostly play by controller, but when you fail a track you go back to car select where you must use your mouse. How about having controller buttons for "use same car" or "use random car."
2. The game should track your best times on each track so you don't have to do it on paper. Currently it only shows your time when you complete the race.
This game is just garbage. Despite painstakingly completing all the levels and getting every achievement (in under an hour I may add), this game is a chore to play. The cars auto accelerate, even if you breath of the gas, they auto accelerate as fast as they can. The cars handle like they are on ice. It's impossible to drive like they do in the trailer. All you can really do is pepper the throttle and ride the brake to slowly get around each course. Zero fun. Avoid. Please.
Matchbox races
In this simple 3D car race game you can find very interesting miniature to realism graphics. The racetrack is like a bended rubberbelt between some random rocks and sometimes it's hard to keep the balance. All of the 18 car models are accessible from the beginning but they do not differ. Some engine noises or wheel smokes seem to much exaggerated. Also all tracks end in a very short finish zone and then end of the road. It makes fun to explore all 12 tracks. But after that there are no leaderboards worth it to rplay the tracks.
Yeah, this is a strange 'un.
You drive a car alongside a strange, surrealist asphalt track in beautiful seaside locations, as waves splashes down below. The track twists and turns. There is no UI. Drive until you reach the end, or until you fall off.
That's a strange concept, but it works. It's low-pressure, beautiful and fun. I enjoyed it.
The problem is in the nitty-gritty of the game. It's very clearly student work. The game tells you nothing about itself. You need to come to a full stop at the end of each track, between the finish line and the literal end of the track, at which point the game tells you how long you took (and you realize it was keeping time, after all). There's no leaderboard. The game doesn't even tell you which tracks you've completed. There are about fifteen cars, and they seem to handle differently, but they have no visible stats, so I couldn't tell you for sure. There are no options. When the game launched, the edges of the screen were cut off - I had to press Alt+Enter to enter windowed mode to fix it. There's controller support during gameplay, but not on the menus. The sounds are either annoying or bland. And I don't know enough about computers to use words like "poorly optimized" without being a hypocrite, so I'll tell you instead that this is a pretty big fame (memory-wise) for a game with ten tracks and no AI.
I almost refunded the game after playing it a little, but you know what? I bought it on a sale, it was worth the amount lower than a buck that I spent on it. But I don't think I'll be playing it again.
Very Good Game ;)
It's an unfinished game. It's buggy. It performs poorly. The sounds don't sync up with the car. There is no elapsed timer and scoreboard (play the game and you'll immediately understand that this game is incomplete without this feature). There are no settings options to adjust key bindings, video settings or audio settings. The process of escaping from a game is strange, slow and unpredictable. Windows Firewall reported it was attempting to use networking features even though the game has no multiplayer features at all (worrying).
Despite saying all that, if the developers mark this game as early access (which would be a more honest way to advertise it) and they fix the issues I described above, this could actually be a really nice little indie game. It was somewhat satisfying controlling the car on the course and I think it has good potential. However good, potential does not a game, make. I'm refunding it for now, but maybe I'll check back on it in the future to see if they've sorted it out.
This is really quite tricky. The control scheme for controller isn't very intuitive and the movement of the car is very sensitive, so bailing into the sea for me was a frequent event - I've yet to finish a track! Entertaining though, with decent graphics. The menu/interface could use a little tweaking - one gotcha is that if using a gamepad I found while esc pauses the game you can't change tracks, so playing a different track requires crashing the game to desktop - not the most elegant solution, and selecting the car, starting/restarting a race has be done with the mouse. I can see the game is still under development so I hope the dev appreciates the feedback, I'm still giving the game a thumbs up as it stands but do hope the menu can be integrated better in a future patch. Good job overall so far though and worth the money!
Nice looking little game. I can only recommend it at a sale price of around €0.9/$1/£0.8 as it takes less than an hour to complete. - All achievements easily in '0.7 hrs'.
This game could be so much more. Most obvious addition would be multi-player, both with computer controlled cars and human opponents. Time trial. More crazy courses - with jumps and moving obstacles, maybe a loop-the-loop etc.
A co-op car race against the computer - has that been done before?
The car explodes as soon as it leaves the road, it would have been nice to see the car hit the scenery or land in the water instead.
The car physics are pretty bad. The car sounds and ambient sounds are really bad, they are seriously annoying. The indoor sounding sounds that have small-room type echo really need to be removed, they are a major detraction from the rest of the game.
Comments On (Valve turned them off by default, thanks Valve(sarc)).
doesn't support PS4 controller even though the developer claims it does so
not worth it until controller support is fixed.
I really dig the look and feel of this game. It just feels a little bit aimless and hollow without like any kind of high score/fastest time tracking. I'll gladly change my thumbs down to a thumbs up if they just add the ability to see your fastest time on a track.
EDIT: i originally liked the game because of the top down perspective. that was the look that i praised. they have removed that camera angle and replaced it with a generic 3rd person car camera. I hate this game now.
The concept of the game is really interesting and fun. So I am going to recommend this game with the hopes that it gets more sales thus more updates and patches.
Quite a challenging game with responsive controlls. Tracks look amazing and so does the price :)
There is still some room for improvements (like having more cars to select from, leaderboards, multiplayer...),
game has great potential to become even better.
Currently I see the game updating almost daily, it looks like the developer is very responsive and
more improvements can be expected.

AUTOCROSS MADNESS is an easy game to just pick up and play- the driving controls are simple and don't require much effort to learn.
Where the real fun starts though is in learning all the tracks and driving fast to break the high score.
You will be replaying the same track over and over again to try and beat your previous record.
The game has a lot of potential and I hope the developer will keep updating it and fixing bugs.
7.10.2019 update:
The game is ruined now to me because of the latest default camera view the developer added or should I say, changed. Before this game was much different. It was eye-candy like you were looking at miniatures. The game was basically a top down-driving game, and it was truly something special to see, but now... it has lost its magic, I'm sad about this cause I really really liked how it was before! :/ It's not that the camera as it is now is so bad, but why can't we have both camera views?
The only screenshot I have with the old camera, isn't it much, much more pretty?

2.12.2018 update:
The game is definitely not abandoned, and I'm glad that things are moving forward, I'll write more about it when I have time :)
27.6.2018 update:
The developer previously for some reason changed the pretty red car to a black one, personally, I thought the red looked way cooler. He also promised like 8 or 6 new cars and after a few really minor updates he stopped responding May the 1st. After practically 2 months of complete silence, still no words about the big update. At this point we can only hope he didn't abandon the game yet, even if it already feels like this.

It's a great challenging game with gorgeous graphics and quite solid but definitely weird physics. It's fun to play, even if it has still room for much improvements such optimization and new additions, but overall I totally love it already!
One downside is that it's pretty short, each track takes less than 2 minutes to complete and there are 12 tracks in total. Hopefully, they'll add more in the future.
The developer is very nice and responds quickly, and most importantly gives attention to your feedback and suggestions. For me this game is a gem worth playing and (hopefully) developing further to make it truly shine in its full potential! For a price of 3.99€, it's a steal! I totally recommend it, get it now! :D
Small, compact and extremely fun to play!
The game is very challenging without any frustrations, if you fail you have to blame only yourself!
The price is just right, less than a gram of weed with the same amount of fun but without the negative impact on your short term memory!
It has a big potential and I hope the game is going to be improved and extended in the future!

it needs only a few updates.
The game looks good only The frame rate could be a bit better
(Playing on a PC with GTX 1050 4gb and 8gb ram)
