Assetto Corsa features an advanced DirectX 11 graphics engine that recreates an immersive environment, dynamic lighthing and realistic materials and surfaces. ASSETTO CORSA has been developed at the KUNOS Simulazioni R&D office, located just inside the international racing circuit of Vallelunga, allowing the team to develop the game with the cooperation of real world racing drivers and racing teams.
LEGENDARY TRACKS
The circuits have been developed using Laser scan technology, in order to guarantee the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing environments.
Monza, Silverstone, Imola, Mugello, Spa, Brands Hatch and many more tracks, including the historical reproduction of Monza, that brings again to life the legendary Sopraelevata, the high-speed oval where races were staged until 1961.

This game taught me driving car in real. With proper driving wheel, everone can reach real time practicing.
Amazing game. Even tho its like 11 years old, it still has better graphics than most other games, and it still manages to max out the 200 fps with my 4070. With mods like srp and no hesi its the greates racing game to ever exist!
My playtime is much higher than my record, since the playtime isn't counted when it's launched through the Content Manager.
Honestly, without mods, this game is pretty meh.
With mods, it is amazing. Try modding this with the Shutoko Revival Project and it completely transforms the game. The only other game that managed to scratch that type of itch is Nightrunners.
fantastic addition to any vr game's library especially if you have a wheel with force feedback. this has a ton of mods so no need to buy dlc unless you want to support the dev
great game overall with all the mods that you can add but there is only 1 problem and that problem is game physics you crash into the npc and you get thrown out of the map. other than this its a great game and you can have fun playing it with friends on costume servers.

Great game. Use with Content Manager for a better experience
the game is amazing when you have a wheel to use! handeling of cars feels pretty good, good starting ammount of cars and tracks without having to get any DLCs. Would recomend using content manager though. especially if your using a PXN V9 wheel or any other wheel that isnt as recognizable as for example a logitech or moza wheel base system

A modding community that is very creative and can bring a lot of fun with things such as driving and overtaking cars in open world maps with actual traffic, Good F1 car mods that are realistic in their handling and are fun to drive, Overall a cheap and very good simulator to start of with. I can say that this is my favourite simulator at the moment and has been for the last 4-5 years.

Great sim racing game at base level. Good car options and track options.
But Jesus Christ, once you download Content Manager and start downloading mods, the sky is the fucking limit. Absolutely amazing 11/10 experience that I can't put down for more than a couple days because I just get that itch to try something new regarding mods.
Want to drive GT3 and Hypercars around Le Mans experience night and day? Go for it.
Want to drive 60s F1 cars around historic Spa to recreate the greatness that is Jim Clark? Go for it.
Want to drive 60s/70s sportscars around historic Le Mans or Longford for high speed thrill? Go for it.
Want to drive modern supercars around Japan's or German's highway system with traffic? Go for it.
Want to carve through canyons or coastal areas like in California in your Rx7? Go for it.
Want to have a track day of random cars speeding around the Nordschleife? Go for it.
Assetto Corsa has one of the richest modding communities out there. If you can think of it, there's like a 95% chance you can do it. And, modding is extremely easy with Content Manager, just download the track or car you want, make your way into Content Manager, click in the upper righhand corner, and have it automatically install it for you. Super simple.
great graphics after some mods and good physics, too bad everything thats actually good has to be modded in but i hope assetto corsa evo will improve on that
Defidently recommend adding mods to this game. It really adds a unique vibe to the game and so many features. Theres high ways you can cut up in, modded cars, and so much more. Defidently worth the time and the money. This game also adds a realistic tone to the game since you can add a steering wheel.
All the negative reviews for this game come from people who thought this would be need for speed and then spun out 18 time on the Nurburing for 30 minutes then giving up and writing an angry review... me, i spun out on the Nurburing 18 times and then lowered the difficulty and tried again and only spun out 4 times... very wonderful game i gotta put more effort into this
This game is far better the forza because when I played this game this is giving me an experience like i am driving a real car but I recommend you to play all racing game with controller or wheel
Amazing racing sim that’s only gotten better over time thanks to mods and Content Manager. Content Manager makes it super easy to tweak settings, add mods, and join servers. Plus, with visuals enhanced by mods like Sol ,Custom Shaders Patch, RainFX, it still looks stunning despite its age. If you love racing, this game is a must-have!
I keep doing wquali laps and I dont get bored or lets say cant get enough, career mode seems fun as well, lovely to be able to drive different cars and see the subtle differences in their throttle response, suspension, braking and acceleration, very realistic.

Welcome to apparently the best car game ever? That everyone is ALWAYS raving about, that is borderline unplayable because its so god damn old and doesn't even scale to your display, needs a bunch of mods for basic features but they are going to be stuffed 6 menus deep in the most overwhelming menu ever (content manager), You will spend hours tuning and trying to get it to work just for some basic feature to work like idk a racing wheel? just for it to stop working when you didn't even change anything. To then also realize all the good mods and servers require logins and or are pay walled not to mention you will just get banned for basically being new and bad at the game. Ive modded tf out of skyrim, minecraft, cyberpunk and tons of other games with content managers and without and this is the most overwhelming inexpressible convoluted game ive ever played. I just want to drive through traffic, i shouldn't have to be an actual professional mechanic or game developer just to play/understand this game.
Very good sim racing game and the graphics are beautiful even though it was released in 2014. the big problem is, if you want to play modded servers like no hesi, you have to buy the ultimate edition for 40 euros :(

this is quite possibly my favorite game of all time when you download mods and plugins. unmodded, the game is already a great driving simulator, but when you download graphics and car mods, which there are thousands to choose from, the game jumps to a whole new level. honestly cannot recommend this game enough if your pc can handle heavy mods, if thats what your in to

I tried the other sims and if you want some good ol' car racing with infinite amounts of mods, you've come to the right place. Beam.NG is good, but not accessible as this. CONTENT MANAGER/SHADER'S PATCH IS A MUST.
With mods this game is easily one of the best racing games on the market. It is also relatively cheap so i really recommend it
This game is really good in terms of freedom. You can mod the shit out of it, adding a lot of different tracks as well as cars. Not only that, there are some traffic maps like Shutoko Revival Project which is pretty fun. Probably the best game for chill simracing. In terms of racing with other people I'd say to just get ACC instead of AC. It's more modern.
Amazing that this game has been out for 10 years. I still am having fun exploring track and car mods to this day with friends.
