what the fuck
I guess if the developer wanted to make something intentionally bad he 100% succeeded because everything was indeed exceptionally bad. Especially his singing. But also everything else, ranking this as one of the worst RPGMaker games I've ever tried playing. But you shouldn't play things that are just bad with no redeeming value!!! I shouldn't either!!!

Pros - Many attempts at humor, low price, custom music and sprites, decent game balance. One or two good plot twists. Rat Bastard is a waifu.
Cons - Game quickly begins to feel repetitive, nearly non-existent lore, fourth wall breaking, poor enemy variety and lazy level design. Go to town, go through maze, fight boss, repeat. After the credits is one last troll. Kusoge's gender plot thread was never completed.
Final thoughts: Make a sequel to the game and take it more seriously; just because something is a parody of the RPG genre doesn't mean it has to be a bad game. On the other hand, Kusoge does mean shit game in Japanese. Tyrant King shouldn't have been the final boss as there was no buildup to him.
I did beat the game so I'll sacrifice the 4 likes on my review as promised and change it to recommended. It was definitely an experience, I'll give it that. I don't know if the developer ever read my original negative review or if it hurt his feelings but if it did I apologize. I had fun playing The Adventures of Kusoge despite my complaints. Thanks for creating this game.

Adventures of Kusoge is like fine wine, something something aged to perfection, I dunno, I don't drink alcohol. After playing dozens of RPGMaker games, I found many that are exponentially worse than Adventures of Kusoge.
This game stands tall among other titans in the genre, including Neckbeardia and Nick Beard: The Fedora of Destiny. Its a must-experience for any RPG fan, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a parody game with crude and random humor that could only be found in a game made by a true gamer.
Unfortunately, if I switch my review to recommended, the 4 likes on it will disappear, so the thumbs down remains. But if you read this, developer, know that your noble game has run me over. Even now, as I type this, I listen to the foreboding title screen music as destiny calls me to the game.
If I complete the game, I will sacrifice the likes to switch this review to a thumbs up.

Step 2: Look deeply into the developer's eyes, let his voice fill your ears, and let his words be absorbed into your brain
Step 3: Imagine what the game is probably like
Step 4: Tell yourself that it's unfair to make assumptions about a person's work based on a 2 minute video of him talking
Step 5: Buy the game, filled with hope and good faith
Step 6: Wait until after the refund period for the game has expired
Step 7: Launch the game, play for 10 minutes
Step 8: Realize that Step 4 was where you failed, and sink deeper into darkness
