It is absolutely as cringe/trope filled as the preview videos and images show. It is unapologeticly 90s anime is both story and feel that it's insane. Still, there's heart here, and it's not a terrible game.

Not recommended
I got this for $0.56 so I'm not too bothered.
I give them major credit for making a pretty hype game on a budget. They did well in terms of visual storytelling, and making a bit of excitement with limited graphics and animations. Good creativity and well-executed!!
I thought it had potential from the game play perspective. Looks like a cool system of leveling, skills, items, etc. I enjoyed how easy it was to customize my characters and the UI was quite well done.
I can't stand this game because of the horrid method of conveying the story. It is done with cardboard cutout heads with word bubbles containing hundreds of tiny snippets of dialogue - it is just squandering my time and you have to NEXT through each one - no SKIP option.
Can't just hammer the SPACE bar to rapidly skip through them either. Because the Dev made sure to put a non-interruptible 0.5s fade-in and fade-out transition for each. Wish I was kidding.
Honestly, 75% of the dialogue could be completely eliminated and it wouldn't change the experience. The remaining dialogue could be collapsed into 50% of the dialogue windows instead of delivering one sentence at a time.
This colossal annoyance renders the game unplayable for me. In the 1.5h shown on my playtime, 1h was tapping through dialogue boxes and a lot of them were just the character LITERALLY saying:
"...."
Really good indie game, feels like a mix of Final Fantasy 7, Grandia 2 and Skies of Arcadia JRPGs. By that i mean some ideas of this game are probably stolen from the others but it is still good
Story is well written (some things did not feel logical, but i do not want to spoil), the characters are mostly authentic and develop throughout the story. It is the main reason to play this game
The dialogues are kinda hit or miss, some are good enough, others however are cringy or way too overdramatic
The battle system is interesting in the beginning but gets boring towards the end
I liked most of the side missions, good change of pace
Music was okay-ish overall, though some boss themes were really on point
Things I disliked:
- Some minigames (snowboard, avalanche, raft) are just horrible
- Heavy lags in a lot of places although this game should not challenge my PC that much
- The arena is pointless and badly structured. Do not let players fight through 7 battles just to get to an enemy which can only be defeated by a certain element that you most likely will not have equipped before the arena. You cannot win and have to start all over again. That is just plain stupid
- The EX game dungeon Crocell Ruins has some way too overpowered common enemies. It is a chore to fight these enemies, absolutely not necessary
- Midway through the game you get way too strong. Storywise you are meant to be beaten by a lot of the rivaled factions during boss battles but I still won all the battles and then still get to see that i was beaten after the battle
- Some areas do not show the correct number of chests to find
(By the way: The game is not 40 hours long, in-game playtime was around 33 hours and I did it all)
But keeping in mind that this game was made by pretty much one person alone the good definitely outweighs the bad. So recommended if you like turnbased RPGs with an engaging storyline
I'm only about 25% finished with this game and must say that it is an awesome RPGMaker game. It has various assets used in other games but it is a solid, massive, great story RPG that brings back some old 90s memories.
Tons of quests, lots of gem crafting, lots of enemies with tons of drops and even a board game to play.
My one complaint is that there are a few glitches and the translation is brutal at times with horrible spelling and grammar mistakes.
Solid so far nonetheless.
Con - Some of the mini-games really REALLY pissed me off.
Pros - Enjoyed the story, characters and customisation. Extra points for having a solid MC.
Edit 1 - That snow boarding mini game is trash. Repeatedly having some guy talk shit to you after completing near perfect runs tilted the fuck outa me.
Edit 2 - Finally completed the run perfectly and got almost 30k points but the outcome was still the same negative one saying I got hit by trees and shit even though I didn't. This trash is poorly made and/or buggy af. Waste of fucking time.
Edit 3 - Game breaking bug crashes game shortly after a boss fight. Can no longer progress through game. Noted details in forum.
Nice game, many classes, skills and different combinations. Everything as it should be in a real RPG game.
This game contains a very interesting storyline. The world will never be the same, and it doesn't even matter. You, as the main character, are only challenging yourself, your destiny and hope. In general, it is quite interesting to play. With every hour of the game, you feel more immersed in the plot. It's hard to break away from the gameplay. Interest is growing and it pleases!
The game is interesting and original in its own way. I'm tired of the same asset copy games on Steam. Here everything is different, the authors approach the development very competently.
This game has a lot of potential. Developers need regular updates and community support
Many unusual ideas are implemented in this game. For example, a variety of mini games. The balance is well thought out for role playing game. There is no oversupply or lack of money or equipment. The game world itself is quite rich - you will definitely have something to do, it will take a long time to go through the locations, but it's worth it!
The game characters are perfectly revealed in this RPG. Starting in the second half of the game, you can also find diaries that cover events from the past of certain characters, and thus, your view of some events will be different. In the development of this game, character design and their relationship to each other had a high priority, which led to a great result. Therefore, I highly recommend for fans of unique stories!

I played more than 9 hours and was really happy with the purchase. The game is definitely worth the money. The gameplay and plot are very exciting, for RPG maker this is just an incredibly cool result
If you love RPGs with a retro twist, then this game will be a great option for you. Every RPG fan will find the most important thing here. In my opinion, this game is worth buying, and whether you like it or not is up to you.
A game in which the developers have focused on game mechanics. First of all, it's worth noting that the gameplay here is quite well thought out for a role-playing game. Each battle can be tactically planned to achieve a certain result. The game characters are diverse, and you need to play the game wisely. Such a product in Steam store deserves attention!
I definitely support such projects. In general, such lengthy gameplay is a rarity for an indie game. But in this case, the developers have proven that it's really to make a good game with a long storyline. This is undoubtedly a big advantage!

Wonderful Game, just like the other Hybris games before. I just completed it with everything the game has to offer, including all side missions, maximum Level on all characters, all minigame rewards and arena 100%. This game offers awesome Storytelling, mostly nice Minigames, a deep fighting system with many elements and very nice written characters. Please give me more of this Lucien!
Disliked grammar using ing too much and other grammar mistakes, 2 sounds one is from the machines and other from some fly bugs and 2 side missions weren't logged as complete even though i had all the materials. Also some lag on the mini games but i have a potato pc maybe that why it's like that. And that you could use smoke bomb to escape a boss fight i believe, but i didn't abuse that, also not sure if remedy was supposed to be available in shop but i believe it should which it wasn't after completing a certain side mission.
Liked the post apocalyptic setting where the centrum obeys the gods and you are just a hunter in this ruined demon infested world which you aren't so good with the centrum. Music was pretty good, there is even voice acting which i think it fits the characters, characters are kinda 3d looking and they look good if some faces are even funny i like how they convey their feeling with different possures or that some sequences are animated.
The graphics are a huge advancement from the previous game which was called Hybris rebith gold. The monsters, machines, demons and human all have their sprites some are so ferocious looking, the world enviroment is also a nice touch how different they can be and you can use certain character skills advance in the game which i believe is geniously made.
Gameplay is inovative you really don't see such a skill system in games usually, where you can use keyboard controls for attack buffs debuffs from 1-6 key and 7-9 for blocking and supportive skills where 0 is a special skill. There is usually 3 characters on screen which attack monsters with pressing the correct ID number for the enemy to attack them. I decided to go with the with the first three skills which i believe are strike,2nd pierce 3rd sentry and 2 compatible elements for each character in game.
There is also the use of items like health, and ap potion they are for action points,revive potions and heal statuses, crystalls can be combined to form more powerfull or usefull crystalls.
Story and gameplay is linear, nothing wrong with that how it's done where the next area opens as you finish current one, you also have side missions which can make you return to the area to give you more kin money, equipment and better position in the hunters guild so you can buy better items, there is also loot which you can sell or use for side missions to get better equipment. Oh and AP needed for attack, each new attack you get to add to your skills can take more AP when attacking.
Somehow i felt there was never enough money to buy all the items, but again nothing wrong with that i kinda liked that i wasn't rich.
Story i believe i liked the most it gets quite interesting at the end and some twists in the story and amazing outcome.
World area and dungeons
The world is pretty well built, going through area and dungeons is usually fast and even then there are so many of them that i still needed 45 hours to beat the game which i loved every moment of it, what steam recorded 60 hours was me losing a few times reloading.
Boss
I like how bosses how much they can vary, bosses were varying in how you could attack them or choose to defend, because some enemies were too strong if you kept attacking them and had to defend so they cooled down or had a certain way of order to attack them to beat em. Also some equipment could make the fights easier which otherwise was unbeatable.
Mini games
A nice edition to the usuall gameplay, but usually laggy so i didn't get much points, one game called Kone was a nice idea.
Characters were very likable and well done, done with a meaning. There is a lot of different characters in this game.
I can recommend this game very much to anyone who loves rpg maker games with a real good story and gameplay and believe all of the stuff included is self made. From 62 rpg maker games i played this one was the best to me, even though all the others were freeware and this one was paid for which i believe is underpiced for what all it delivers. Also it's my first time writting a review on steam. Not a native english speaker
