Variation
- Every creature is uniquely defined by its genes.
Mutation
- Child creatures are slightly randomly modified versions of their parent(s).
Natural Selection
- The environment affects every creature in their struggle to survive.
Observe or Guide
Whether you just want to observe, watch and study as the tree of life constructs itself from a single species, or you want to be an active influence on the development of the species in the game, the choice is up to you! Take a hands-on approach by using the nursery, an isolated area where you can tinker with the gene pool to your heart’s content. Use rovers to decide which creatures get to eat today and which ones starve! Create global catastrophes like an ice-age or a world-spanning flood to weed out the most vulnerable species. Or simply sit back and watch the life-and-death saga unfold!Tell Your Story
However you treat your evolutionary sandbox, we give you the tools to tell it’s story! View every single evolutionary step in detail using the clade diagram, see where each species are living using the satellite map, get a better picture of how varied your gene pool actually is with the web of life, and view every possible detail on each creature using the creature inspection tools.Поддерживаемые языки: english

Game isn't being worked on anymore, buy only if your okay with it's current state.
its not early access, its abandon-ware.
boring
It hasn't been updated for 2 years now, the last build is designated 0.14.2.6. Unfortunately, it's very likely that it got abandoned. It's not really a game, I got hooked simply because I am interested in the modelling and simulation of evolutionary processes, although it's worth saying that a single CPU can do very little with such a task. In order to be scientifically adequate (i.e. not treating the problem from an individual consumer's perspective), one would need to utilize distributed computing for simulating such complex systems (even protein interactions at cellular level need distributed computing; you can try googling "computational biology"). You'd probably be better off if you save your money for a subscription of Brilliant.org or Curiosity Stream, if you're a naturally curious person. I'm giving it my thumb up just because of the idea behind it.
needs to be updated but overall a good game
The developer has disappeared. No more updates.
$20 to goof off in some guys evolution tech demo? I should have passed on the offer. After trying for a long time to figure our this game I've ultimately realized that gameplay is watching timers and clicking a radiation button.
Watch a Youtube video of this game for the same experience.
Tortue animals and make them adapt like Mahoraga W Game
The creator had made a mention about his mental health awhile ago. I would not expect this to receive attention anymore, but for a few bucks it's already paid for itself. Don't treat it as an outright sim, but more like an idle thing to futz with when you're bored. I don't feel ripped off, more disappointed this gem won't be cut to perfection. Hopefully the dev gets some peace.
Abandon-Ware
I've been playing this since Alpha, it's awesome!
Great concept. It's unfinished and has taken way too long in early access, but it's fun as it currently stands. Just be prepared for crashes and a few graphical glitches from time to time. Watching your critters evolve, go extinct, strive, struggle, ascend, descend, sink, swim, etc is very satisfying.
funni bean game =]
sigma
This game is great. It may be a little complicated but you will get used to it. Also the dev made a statement saying he had problems irl and is now continuing the development of the game. SO it is not dead.
I like this game a decent amount.

Okay but in all seriousness, this game has a conceptually fascinating idea.
In execution on the other hand? It.. leaves a lot to be desired.
But not everything! There are many features-even if they are partially broken some of the time-
But they do work in interesting ways nonetheless.
I can't tell you the amount of times I've obsessed over specific speciation of a very weird species I just kind of got attached to-
Only for the game to crash, and then, EVENTUALLY, for me to crawl right back to the game again as if it never happened.
It's an arduous and bone crushing game, with truly WEIRD highs.
So! If you're into feeling like you're a God and playing favorites- only for your favorites to almost certainly die due to your own meddling- ( most likely due to you becoming a form of crutch for the species as a whole, causing mutations that let defects form; which run rampant, ESPECIALLY with bottleneck populations, etc)-
And/or a simple glitch deleting the ENTIRE save file-
Then this game is VERY much for you!
And if you're not..?
Well, i'm sure you can guess.
abonded but its pretty good
Good
It ate my father, nice game.
Yay! I love this game!
Why: The mutations are largely open ended, Nice overall look and feel, can have a species walk as Bi-pedal!!
It's a lot of fun to watch your creatures truly evolve and survive and the visuals are smooth and enjoyable, and after 3 hours of mutating I have most species walking on two or four legs with actual faces!
