В игре Kerbal Space Program доступно три режима. Режим «Наука» позволяет проводить эксперименты, изучать технологии и вести расу кербалов к светлому будущему. В режиме «Карьера» вы возглавите программу космических исследований и проследите за ее подготовкой и модернизацией. В свободном режиме вы сможете построить корабль своей мечты из любых доступных компонентов.

- Собирайте космические корабли, ракеты и летательные аппараты из разнообразных уникальных деталей, каждая из которых влияет на функции корабля во время полета.
- Возьмите управление кораблем на себя, чтобы выполнять сложные маневры.
- Подбирайте, тренируйте и отправляйте своих кербонавтов в полеты, вписывайте их имена в историю кербонавтики.
- Исследуйте огромную звездную систему с уникальными лунами и планетами.
- Руководите операциями на других планетах и в открытом космосе.
- Стыкуйте аппараты и конструируйте орбитальные станции, межпланетные корабли и наземные базы на других планетах.
- Сканируйте планеты со спутников, чтобы обнаружить биомы и прочие аномалии.
- Создавайте коммуникационные сети для связи между кораблями и Центром управления полетами.
- Исследуйте и внедряйте новые технологии, собирайте информацию о других планетах и добывайте ресурсы по всей солнечной системе и за ее пределами!

After so many years this game is still peak, anything that the base game might be lacking is made up for (and then some) by all the wonderfull mods the community has made.
Pick it up doing a promotion (it usualy drops to 10$) and this is a 10/10 game.
Awesome game that can teach you the basics of orbital mechanics, lets you build rockets and explore the system and the mod community is huge and there are so many super cool mods that give you endless fun!
I absolutely love this game for a variety of reasons! It has a small learning curve to get into how to play and into higher level orbital mechanics but the game includes a training feature to help you learn. This game is absolutely beautiful aside from that and is a very nice challenge as every time you accomplish something there is a plethora of wild new things you can try! This game even has a lot of modding support making sure you'll never get bored!! I would recommend for sure!

best game ever a hour later i found you could mod it insane game 5 stars
where to start with this one. i got it years ago after seeing it on youtube as a young adult. i actually saw a simulator for the space shuttle. when i found out i couldnt run that on my pc at the time i eventually discovered this. bought it, crashed so many rockets i couldnt even begin to count. Frustrated many times over and over. But what kept me at it was the community. i learned about gravity turns. delta v. aspergus staging hohman transfers and so on. got to orbit. got to the mun. got to minmus. each achievement felt so satisfying i couldnt stop. the original team squad put their souls into this game. sure it has its flaws. some bugs like the kraken ripping your ship apart for clipping an antenna somewhere for asthetics for instance. But overall its solid and bugs like that are even less common now that the game is fully released. If your a space nerd or just love a bit of a challange of the mind. KSP def provides. Graphics even still hold up to this day without mods. with mods it can look better than the $h!t Show that is ksp2. o7
exploding rockets and stranding kerbals in space is so much fun
its very fun,just don't try to install mods on steam deck,its way to complicated
great game, though i recommend doing some of the tutorials before you start building rockets if you're new to this. my main problem with it is the lack of clear goals. there is a whole solar system to explore, but after a while landing on yet another moon or planet gets old, and so you need to invent things to do, such as make space stations or just do things better. if you find this game is not your style you can always uninstall, you don't need to be a rocket scientist for that :)

This is truly one of the best games ive ever played. ive really enjoyed this game so far, it has a lot of stuff available to do and a lot of planets to explore, especially with mods. When i got the game I thought I wouldn't be able to make it anywhere like the mun, even less Jool, but its not as hard as i thought it was. It just might need some practice, and understanding of Orbital mechanics, but anyone could make it interplanetary or even interstellar (with mods) if they really tried hard enough, and understood the game good enough.
I spent thousands of hours on the non steam version of this game, however I could not get the DLC or any mods to work with the non steam version
i spent $64 to get the DLC for this game
even then it is still worth more as a game that the amount that i spent on it
10/10 by far my favorite game of all time, i cant wait to put in thousands more later on
this game is very fun unlike ksp2 because i cant play ksp2 because it would always crash and it will have no dev every again, ksp1 is the way to go :D
Perfect game to mess around with even if your an expert in physics or completely fresh

If you want to learn the fundamentals of space travel and occasionally spend way too much efford to nuke some poor minion into the sun, this is your game.
This has to be one of the best games ive ever played hands down, worth every cent best space flight sim you can get right now.
I'm roughly 1700h in, and I *still can't get enough of this game*! This has been my best Steam investment ever, and with the available mods out there, it just keeps getting better. Every completed mission truly feels like an accomplishment. Forget about that KSP2 cr*p, and stick to this classic. Space fans will NOT be disappointed. :)
Absolute classic of a game and can replace KSP 2 100% with mods since they're built on the same exact engine.

Classic cartoon, simplifed spaceflight sim. Mods can make the game into whatever you want. Highly recommend for any spaceflight nerds.
Still a bit daunting and can be hard as a newbie, but my love for space, rockets and planes are so satisfied when I make a good vehicle, and when I am finally able to complete missions and make progress after hours of trial and error! Very forgiving for failure, and custom difficulty to make it even more comforting.
It does take some patience but should appeal to anyone interested in SpaceX, Blue Origin, NASA, ESO or other space agencies. The concepts are similar, the scale is smaller, the challenge is real enough. If you manage to get your scientists stuck in orbit or on Mun (the moon), be a good leader and go rescue them!
Amazing game super creative in what space crafts you build and if you want more in the game you can just pick from the thousands of mods
All round amazing. 10/10 for sure. There are a few bugs, but you can use them to your advantage.

Kerbal Space Program the game I think is very good . but the Kerbal Space Program2 look like garbage
Kerbal Space Program (KSP) is a realistic space simulation. With the Kerbol system being a representism of the solar system. You can capture astroids and maybe even crash them into earth. Science mode depicts a space agency with infinite budget but with a lack of science. Science mode is more freindly for new players.
Carrer mode is the classic KSP experience. With budget, reputation, and science points.
Sandbox mode: the mode where you can do whatever you want. Has no budget, science, or reputation to worry about

What is there to say?
You are in charge of a bunch of silly green goons, doing extremely stupid things, except you are doing it the right way, the real way!
If you fancy to learn something about what the real physics of space flight is and what it takes to reach orbit or land on the moon, this is the only true, silly space simulator you can rely on.
Unfortunately Kerbal 2 will never come, so this is here to stay for a loooong time.
i love the exploration and free roam aspect about this game, as well as the assembly of my own aerospace vehicle. The modding community for this game has produced a plethora of game enhancing additions as well
Brilliant Game! Can be quite challenging at times, because, well, it is rocket science. It is very fun, would recommend.
KSP1 is a gem, teaches science, rockets, orbital mechanics, planning, problem solving while keeping it funny.

its a great game especially if your willing to install large amounts of mods it can be extremely customized to suite your playstyle and is far better than its "sequel" that is not even playable
I've come back to this game after the shitstorm that was KSP 2, and have really got to say this game deserved its hit status when it first came out.
KSP is like, Minecraft but for the more engineering minded of us.
Yeah its a game about building rockets and realising your staging isn't right, Yeah its physics may be super spacecraft biased. But nothing is stopping you from making ships, planes, cars and even motorbikes. The modding community is still super active even in its final updates which helps a great ton.
I saw this game in a video and it looked fun so I bought it and it is fun. very fun. and it's great with mods too, just don't use too much mods or else your game will lag like mine does.
It's KSP, everyone knows what this is. It works, it's fun. Play while eating popcorn watching the dumpster fire that is KSP2.
if you don't play this game you will never fully understand orbital mechanics without spending enough money to buy a mars rocket on college tuition
use mods to also understand nuclear fusion and advanced ballistics

I really love this game with these cute little green creatures living in this cute little slightly chaotic society full of happiness and curiosity.
S-tier edutainment. When I get I handle on the simplified physics of the base game (will probably take dozens of hours), I look forward to trying out mods that expand on it (eg Principia) and that account for radiation, oxygen, etc (Kerbalism). Deep and really scratches a creativity and curiosity itch.

If you haven't played by this point... well... don't wait for Kerbal 2 to become playable (long story short: big dev bought it and killed it) get this one! It's still good!

The base game is still good after all these years and it will continue to be good and if it's not what you're in the mood for at the moment look into all the mods... so many mods.
I dare say this is Apollo 11 of space games, the single best rocket space game to ever hit virtual store shelves.
Unlike the 2, KSP 1 is a good game that can be modded to be enjoyed with friends
Great game play if you have a liking for SPACE. best played with Mods but don't if you have a "SHIT" PC. have fun and always get some nice srceenshots :)

For me, at least, this game be one of the three: a learning haven, a fun, creative space, and an amazing time killer. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
its Kerbal Space Program. If youre looking at it you already know what it is. There is a reason a specific subsect of people obsess over this game. If youre a science, physics, or space nerd you will enjoy this
it only took me 5 generations of the 'fartmaker' model to figure out you need heat shields to not liquify your guys. this is science, people!
