Good idea, never executed
Your average early access abandonware
last update was in like march 2024 this game had potential but the devs are pretty much radio silent, which is a pretty big red flag at this point, save your money this is basically abandonware. the commands systems are unusuable, it literally just doesnt work no one responds to any of your commands.
Its Mount and Blade with modern weapons. It needs alot more work but is absolutely playable as it is.
This game wasn't bad few years ago, but seems like devs just abandoned it, those rare updates (nothing significant in past 3-4 years) made game more buggy and broken. Its qute sad because if this game was in the right hands, it would have so much potential but it ended as a dead game and I don't think we will ever see something out of this, don't waste your money

Worth a couple bucks for some laughs several years ago, but development has been halted for probably as many years at this point. I’ve not picked it up in a long time and would recommend that we just let this one die.

Played quite a bit in the past. It hasn't improved at all from the prerelease. It's basically an alpha build they are claiming is complete.

When it first released it was a jank FPS shooter mount and blade. Which at the time was decent for what it was. Still luls were had. Nearly 7 years later, its the same thing. Don't spend your money here. Deader then the relationship with your ex

It was abandoned in an unfinished state for a long time, then out the blue they brought news of an overhaul update. Then all mention of this overhaul was removed.

I like this game, but lack of news and updates are making me not recommend it. If it's not abandoned then it's VERY close to it. do not buy it, you will be wasting your money at this point.

As a person that as had this game for many years let me say. this game is a unfinished mess do not touch this game with a ten foot pole. do not believe anything they say about any update what so ever they have been saying that shit for years the early builds of this game where better with more content , Finally don't believe the reviews on this game it's widely know anytime reviews on this game go into red magically some random bot's show up to boast it back up
Been around since initial release and I come back occasionally. The game is fun, challenging, and its Mount and Blade with guns. I feel like I can really get invested in every playthrough. Many people are saying the game was abandoned but I still hold out hope. The original developers hired a bunch of people to try to grow the game bigger and mismanagement, working on too many other projects at once, brought the developers down. After downsizing and realigning development, work started progressing again. The developers are Ukrainian so I feel like the war has really hampered the development. It must be hard living and working under constant threat of getting drafted, getting bombed, hit by missiles, etc. I believe once this war finally ends, we will see more updates coming.

Honestly surprised the game is back to getting updates. I always enjoyed the game, definitely a game with a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's just a nice grind to the top.
Dead game, just play Total Conflict: Resistance.
I bought it awhile ago, just got around to playing it, and I'm enjoying it. Feels a lot like Mount and Blade with guns - but it also has city development, play style options, and some extra stuff like interchangeable gear for troops instead of only companions. The AI isn't super smart, probably better than M&B (but that isn't saying much), however you have quite a bit of control for your own squads.
I see a lot of angst that the developers have moved on to other things. The game isn't in Early Release. It's done, it is what it is. I haven't had any serious issues and it's fun, though getting it on a sale wouldn't be a bad thing... The graphics do look a decade old, if that's important to you. I see they have a new game they are working on that'll be a lot more up to date graphically, which will be nice. Having a leaf on a tree block my bullet is annoying. They blocked arrows in M&B, so maybe that's part of the flavor... :P
For the "dead game" people - it's single player and it works. Not sure that phrase means what you think it means. If the player base is 1 million or 2 people, your experience will be the same in a single player game. If you are waiting for the game to improve before buying it, may as well wait for the new one.
